Cooking but it’s not lotf 💔
Okay so this guy is like a god kinda well there’s several other gods but! He’s one of the strongest ones
Despite his name he’s pretty chill and just wants humans and monsters to vibe but his presence just. Doesn’t let that happen.
He’s disappointed in humanity and also might’ve caused the problems that they have in the first place; basically when the trait gods(??) first created humanity, they also created the first determination trait just to fuck with the traitless people for a bit, but over time they created the other traits that you see in Undertale (Bravery, Justice, Kindness, Patience, Integrity, Perseverance)
And then the traited people left the determination guy and Hope (one of the trait gods) created Monsters just so the guy wouldn’t be alone but it backfired and the humans killed the monster that the guy befriended and Hate was like “bro what the fuck.” And accidentally got summoned into the surface world via the determination guy and forced a few of the traited people to get corrupted with hate (the emotion) out of his tears but we’re gonna get into that another day
Anyways I might change this concept because it’s late and I’m not thinking 100% coherently but I think it makes a little sense idk
Here’s the guy
Yes people thought he was a demon, but he’s not….really….
Also I tried to give him some religious looking clothes with the fancy design and stuff
He’s been alive since before the creation of humanity so do with that what you will
#reverseglitch#Stanley rambles#art#my art#the trait gods#??? still working on their title but that fits#everttale#hatred

Hey uh 👉👈 what fo you think Jin Ling's main soul trait is (undertale reference) 👉👈
Like. I have some idea. I think Jiang Cheng's is perseverance (and not just because of the purple color lmao) but Jin Ling is harder to set, especially since we still don't know what the red soul is and whether there's a gold soul or something (cause I mean, we already have yellow)
I'm mostly struggling because I think he's kind, reckless and idk, he's trying not to get stuck in the past. He loves his friends and family very much and would do so much for them. He's pretty brave, isn't he? But I'm mostly trying to decide between two: kindness and justice. That is, if I don't make the red soul's trait love. But then again, I'm unsure cause of love and kindness being similar but also... not? Then again, the same thing could be said about bravery and justice. Maybe.
Anyway

ough...gwagwa......au where the 6 souls from undertale are the choir kids...
ocean is the purple/perseverance soul bc she’s very strong willed and determined and she would beat people to death with a notebook
noel is the blue/integrity soul bc uhh. the dusty tutu and ballet slippers + Being That Fucked Up Girl
mischa is the orange/bravery soul bc. erm. idk. process of elimination + he Would wear a bandana with abs drawn on them
ricky is the yellow/justice soul bc the phrase “see you space cowboy...” has been floating in my brain for days now. he has cowboy times in space.
jane doe is the cyan/patience soul bc do you know that short story abt the girl who wears a green ribbon around her neck and when she finally lets her husband take it off on her deathbed her head falls off. that’s what the faded ribbon is for in this au. also she got Decapitated in a ruins trap rather than being killed by asgore, and she wears a ragdoll head bc she’s a little kid instead of a teenager
constance is the green/kindness soul both bc she’s The Nicest Girl In Town and also the apron and frying pan + her family owning a bakery
karnak is an associate of gaster’s and is either a haunted machine/failed experiment or a monster who just so happens to look like a fortune teller machine

Yall what if each deltarune secret boss is gonna have a certain soul with it? Seven chapter, seven souls. Jevil was determination, Spamton was justice, maybe the next one is perseverance if it's going in reverse order of undertale (Asgore/determination, Mettaton/justice, Muffet/perseverance, Undyne/kindness, Papyrus/integrity, and maybe Toriel/patience and Nabstaplook/bravery but idk)
Also I'm pretty sure all the bosses will in some way reference freedom and how they want to break free from their puppet master. Maybe the final boss/final secret boss is Kris after they've broken free from the players control and want us to stop what we're doing to them (especially if snowgrave is something the player has done.
#deltarune#deltarune chapter 2#spamton#jevil#undertale#idk i just remembered seven chapters are planned#and that its weird we can use the shooty soul for this one random fight??#idk but lets hope apllo has granted me the gift of prophesy#best pile

So yeah no one can stop me. I made another HC au. This time an undertale au! I actually want to make an interactive blog with this au but idk. I already know what i want to do with it, I just need people to interact with the players. So yeah, if do make one I’ll say it.
More under the cut!
How i came up with this is actually pretty simple, yesterday i got super into the Undertale soundtrack and rewatched JSE undertale playthrough and NewScapePro’s Undertale roleplay. Other than that i already had an idea to make this au.
So, this au will follow the storyline of Undertale just with the HC members and little bits and pieces have been added oh also! Characters in undertale will not be 100% accurate (Toriel, she will not be a goat monster), its just which hermit will play the role of that character. Who’s who:
FALLEN CHILDREN
Patience: Hypno
Bravery: False
Integrity: Keralis
Perseverance: Joe
Kindness: Stress
Justice: Wels
Determination: Xisuma/xB
MONSTERS (NO SHIPPING! ASGORE AND TORIEL ARE FRIENDS! ASRIEL IS JUST IS NOT THEIR KID, ASRIEL IS JUST A RANDOM MONSTER.)
Flowey/Asriel: Bdubs
Toriel: Cleo
Napstablook: Ren
Sans: Iskall
Papyrus: Grian
Undyne: Doc
Alphys: Mumbo
Asgore: no idea.
Hermits not mentioned will be in the story as well!
Which reminds me! I have art of the fallen children minus Xisuma/xB! This may or may not have crashed my laptop once or more. I will make a drawing of the monsters with Xisuma/xB soon.
Like Undertale, the previous fallen children has left some items through out The Underground. Here’s what they left:
Hypno: Black bandana (armor), plastic knife (weapon) False: Cracked goggles (armor), a pair of gloves (weapon) Keralis: A bright vest (armor), a toy sheild (weapon) Joe: Glasses (armor), a journal (weapon) Stress: A pink cardigan (armor), a retractable dagger (weapon) Wels: A helmet (armor), a toy sword (weapon)

So i was thinking about the different soul colors in undertale and what they mean
Red: Determination
Orange: Bravery
Yellow: Justice
Green: Kindness
Cyan: Patience
Blue: Integrity
Purple: Perseverance
When you fight sans, his eye glows 2 different colors
Cyan and Yellow. The colors that represent Patience and Justice respectively.
Maybe it means smth maybe not idk. just thinkin that that fits sans p well.
#undertale#sans#undertale theories#undertale souls#is this a headcanon?#or just a theory...#(a game theory)#idk prolly a theory not a hc

Ok lemme know if this has been done already (there’s no way it hasn’t but I’ve never seen it sooo). I’ve come up with an AU. The premise is that instead of monsters being trapped underground, it’s the humans who were put underground by the monsters. Pretty much everything else is the same other than that and the implications it has on the characters and story.
More details under the cut if ya wanna read
BACKSTORY
So a long time ago humans and monsters used to live in peace, but then for one reason or another war broke out between them. The monsters were victorious (owing to their extreme discrepancy in magic), and forced all the humans under Mount Ebott, after which a boss monster (Asgore, I think it’s gonna be) sealed them away in there. The humans have been stuck there for a long time. The only way to destroy the barrier is by using the power of seven human SOULs, plus a boss monster SOUL. No one can enter the mountain, unless they posses both a boss monster SOUL and at least one human SOUL. No one can leave the mountain, save for a human with an incredibly powerful SOUL. Because of this, eight children have successfully escaped Mount Ebott. To have a SOUL powerful enough to escape, one must posses a strong personality trait (bravery, kindness, perseverance, patience, justice, integrity, determination), and one must also have a potent life essence, which is why only children are possibly able to escape.
This is how Chara, the first human, was able to leave and enter the surface world. It had been a long time since the war, which is probably why Asgore and Toriel took pity on Chara and raised them as their own. Even though they were well cared-for, Chara still deeply resented all monsters for trapping the humans underground (except possibly Asriel, whom Chara had grown somewhat attached to). After living there fore awhile, Chara devised a plan to free all the humans. They were going to kill themselves by eating poisonous buttercup flowers, and Asriel would absorb their SOUL, allowing him to enter the underground. Then, under Chara’s guidance, Asriel would obtain six more human SOULS (Chara never explicitly explains how they would get the SOULs. It’s possible that Chara hadn’t really thought that far ahead). However, the plan went awry when Asriel got cold feet, and couldn’t bring himself to harm any humans, because he had also grown attached to Chara. The humans, however, were angry at monsters and bitter about their imprisonment, and attacked Asriel, hoping to possibly get his SOUL and shatter the barrier. Asriel most likely would have willingly let the humans kill him, offering himself as a sacrifice, but Chara wouldn’t let that happen, and they went back to the surface world. Asriel was badly injured at this point, and ended up dying anyway, much in the same way it happens in classic UT.
Asgore and Toriel were utterly wracked with grief. Furious and heartbroken, Asgore once again declared war on all humans, and wanted to enter the underground and avenge his children. Toriel, however, talked him out of this (he wouldn’t have been able to do it anyway, as Chara’s SOUL had disappeared). Still, Asgore vowed to never again let a human walk free. Any time a human child managed to escape the mountain, they would be killed, under Asgore’s orders. The human SOULs were kept somewhere secret in the Capitol. This is because there is a way to make the barrier stronger. When one has possession of seven human SOULs, and a boss monster SOUL, they have the option to, instead of destroying the barrier, reinforce it. This would make it impossible for anyone to escape, no matter how strong a SOUL. It also prevents anyone from entering, even if they have the SOUL of both a human and boss monster. This becomes the motivation for the monsters to obtain seven human SOULs, like in classic UT. So far, Asgore has six. Obviously Toriel is disgusted with this new policy, and leaves Asgore to go live in the ruins away from the barrier and the Capitol.
FRISK
Frisk is the eighth human to escape the underground. Their goal, like in classic UT, is to get back home. They only consider destroying the barrier in the True Pacifist route (I think because they don’t know how, and maybe in the true lab they figure out?). They want to get home because they didn’t escape on purpose. None of the human children do. There’s a certain magic that happens for unknown reasons that transports the humans to the surface. It always has something to do with their personality traits (haven’t completely fleshed this part out yet idk). Other than all this their story is pretty much the same as in classic UT: they befriend or kill monsters, travel to the Capitol, fight Asgore. In the neutral routes they just kill him (or Flowey kills him), and use Asgore’s SOUL to re-enter the underground. Don’t yet know what happens in Genocide.
Sooo yeah that’s the basics of my AU. Don’t have a name for it yet, and there’s a lot of other stuff that I’ve gotta figure out as well. Maybe I’ll make another post with characters and art and stuff. Feel free to ask questions about this !!

I'm curious if you have any ideas for how magic work for mages in the Undertale world? Cause I've seen people do it where they have to have an item to focus on to use magic, ie: a staff or things similar to it.
i don’t have any specific headcanons, although i do like the idea of having an item to concentrate magic output
i suppose my only real headcanon in terms of the mages & their magic would be that only those with a ‘pure’ soul (i.e, they only have one colour such as red for determination, like frisk/chara) can actually tap into their magic an use it. but even then i think of it as something similar to genotypes & phenotypes in humans; genotype is your ‘code’, what you could potentially have, and you phenotype is what’s actually ‘activated’ and can be seen in your appearance & such. environmental factors effect the phenotype and how it gets expressed, and i think that for the magic that’s in the human souls to be ‘activated’, like a phenotype, the human in question needs to be exposed to certain environmental factors or certain kinds of stress, otherwise the magic just remains stagnant and unused. what kinds of environments & stress needed for the magic to show itself probably varies depending on both the person & the type of soul they have. in the case of the mages, being around monsters who so often use (& are made of) magic probably helped.
this idea is what i based that one ‘variation’ of humanswitch on - the version where they have the ability to use magic despite being humans. they have souls with just one colour, and i think universe-jumbling shenanigans would be as good a reason as any for the magic contained within them to actually kickstart and start to be used. i think that different soul types would have different ways of expressing magic, such as integrity & patience being tied to gravity similar to the blue attacks the skeleton brothers use, or justice souls being able to expel magic as a form of projectile at their targets. i tend to think of those as, say... ‘ultimates’, or last resorts. i think that otherwise the magic can be used more passively, like a kindness soul having healing magic with a last resort power being an ability to revive someone from recent death. or, bravery being stronger than average, and as a last resort being impenetrable to attacks so long as they’re moving, with the opposite being true for patience (impenetrable so long as they’re still)
idk, i like to link the human soul traits to the kinds of magic we see monsters use in-game, such as muffet turning your soul purple (i.e, perseverance’s colour) & as a result you can only move along strings (which is why, in a drawing sheet i did quite a while ago, rus has a whip as a weapon - her soul is purple, and the whip is similar to the strings in muffet’s fight. it’s also why ri got a shield, like in undyne’s fight)
#that was.... longer than i first thought it was gonna be#those are my only real headcanons on the general subject of humans using magic though#i also like to think that their eyes glow when using the last resort powers but that’s just my need for Aesthetic(tm)#undertale#magic headcanons
