Due to the lack of Cedric x Percy in everywhere, I'm posting my fics from ao3 on here, just so I can fill up the damn tag. Also because I kind of wanted to reflect onto my old writing style lol, this was a dark time for me as I'd completely give up purple prose and reading it again — my writing feels bland. This one's not complete but I posted it anyways because I prolly wasn't going to finish it lol.

So, like, I'm probably going to rewrite this.

 “I noticed the way you were looking at me tonight,” Cedric said with a small smile playing on his lips. Percy was startled for a moment, being completely cornered in the isolated corridor like this. The thumping of the song remained loud in the still walls of the castle. The longer he gazed into Cedric’s storm grey eyes, the more the music dissolved into nothingness.    “Well, I’m your boyfriend. Figures, I’d like a little attention.” he finally swallowed down the dryness in his throat. Gods, he still wasn’t used to this — having Cedric invading his personal space like, well, like Penny did. Watching Cedric’s lazy movements made it very much clear that he was, at least a little, drunk. A little chuckle escaped Cedric’s mouth as he combed his hair back. 

   “Just a little?” Cedric tilted his head, tugging onto the collar of Percy’s navy blue dress robes. He gave a cheeky little look as he leaned closer and whispered, “I was planning on giving a lot.” 

   “Is that so?” Percy was never good with subtleties, but if that’s what Cedric wished, he shall oblige. Cedric hummed as he leaned closer with his smile going even wider. Much to Percy’s chagrin, Cedric merely kissed his cheek softly.    “That’s not ‘a lot’.” Percy complained under his breath, and Cedric had heard it very clearly. Cedric wrapped his hands around Percy’s neck and leaned onto him. Percy was a little startled at the sudden attack, but he proceeded to wrap his arms around Cedric’s waist. Percy put his back to the wall and let Cedric tower onto him as he showered Percy’s skin with kisses.

Since I was like a child and first saw the show I saw the Swamp episode first. And I thought they were a couple and I really held onto that the rest of my days lmao

My thoughts: I love them a lot. They are my favs. They are just a cool fun dynamic platonically or romantically. And it’s just a GOOD TIME.

What makes me happy about them:

I like how they balance each other out a lot! I love it when they are mischievous together and partners in crime. They can always get down to business, but have a lot of fun along the way.

What makes me sad about them:

How Toph ends in the swamp waiting to be reunited with the Avatar again. And just the Ummi theory in general 😭

Things done in fanfic that annoys me:

When Toph can see, or if she’s like super mean to Aang constantly?? I don’t vibe with that Toph. She’s a blunt force, but she’s not cruel and if she were Aang wouldn’t put up with it.

Things I look for in fanfic:

I like them when they are older and adults, traveling the world together. Kind of slowly getting together. They are like together but not really but THEY ARE.

I also love modern AU’s with them. And my partner ( @foxy-knowledgeseeker) and I are making a cyberpunk au and I really love how they are in that too.

Just more of them always though @der-andere-aang has made some of my favorite fics of them.

My wishlist: That more people put them front and center and not a side piece. Because truly they are a fun ass time.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Lmao can I say Katara for both of them? Because it’s true

My happily ever after for them:

My happily ever after for them is just traveling the world solving problems together. Toph having her own gang of metal bending bandits, renewing the air temples, finding hidden airbenders underground (with the help of the dunebabies). Just them traveling with their family and vibing happily.

Gonna do something I’ll probably never do again and post some ~Tylara~ thoughts:

Ty Lee being drawn to Katara's passion, self-assertion, and huge surges of confidence when push comes to shove, similarly to how Ty Lee is drawn to comparable aspects of Azula.

Ty Lee becoming fascinated by the blend of colors in Katara's aura, where Katara has such burning rage that molds into her compassion and kindness and sweetness -- it might seem to Ty Lee that the colors and their meanings contrast, almost, yet they make something beautiful. 

Exposure to such a foreign juxtaposition through Katara helping Ty Lee gain better insight on the complicated and powerful feelings of those who have suffered from the war outside the Fire Nation. i.e., she might be intrigued by there being an anomaly in something she is usually very familiar with, the colors in a person's aura, and through her curiosity would come to better understand Katara's feelings and hurt and to value that, even if Ty Lee can't fully relate. 

Auras potentially becoming a conversation they have. Katara's usually quite fascinated herself with the "supernatural" and learning about other people's views and perspectives. 

Katara being taken off guard a little to hear what Ty Lee can feel from Katara through her aura and the half-conclusions Ty Lee can draw, but the topic also being interesting and maybe even fun for Katara at first, before it possibly turns a bit deeper and maybe too accurate for comfort. 

Katara generally vibing with Ty Lee's more bubbly personality, but just to an extent initially. On the surface, Ty Lee doesn't take things too seriously, and she could probably help Katara to loosen up a bit. 

There being times when Ty Lee seems almost too "air-headed" in certain situations and not appearing to “read the room,” which would start to bother Katara, in part because it comes across to her as Ty Lee being dishonest, as Katara is a good people-reader and might pick up on Ty Lee brushing things off or being bubbly to a point where it feels unnatural, even for someone like her.

After a while, Katara maybe even calling Ty Lee out on being disingenuous.

Ty Lee capable of being more serious, but fearful of not being seen for herself as an individual. If she doesn't feel that the person she fully is will garner enough attention or value, she tries to be more charismatic and agreeable.

Where Ty Lee fears not being Seen, Katara is all about Seeing people.

Ty Lee managing to hint somewhat-privately that, yes, Katara’s right, sometimes it is a façade, there are less attractive (as Ty Lee sees it) qualities to me, and Katara dropping her bitterness towards Ty Lee's dishonesty, might as well forgetting about it, as soon as Ty Lee admits it. 

Katara actively trying to get to know another side of Ty Lee, as it’s in her nature to be nurturing and validate people’s worth, getting to know them on a personal level, and building Ty Lee up not just for her skills or her appearance but for all of her. 

Ty Lee benefitting from specifically Katara seeing her that way, as she is someone Ty Lee admires. 

Ty Lee being receptive, unlike many, to Katara’s touchy-feeliness and what some would call “in-your-business” tendencies, as Ty Lee takes it as a reminder for how Katara sees her personally, wants to do so, and likes Ty Lee even so.

Katara being one who is prone to jealousy, but Ty Lee eventually feeling less need to gather what she now sees as relatively superficial attention, like from a crowd of admirers, as she understands who she is as worth more and able to have more, from a real connection like that with Katara.

On another note, many pairings between people from the Fire Nation and outside it are likely to have some issues for being on different sides of the war, especially when involving Katara and people who were once her direct enemy, as she is so intense with her grudges and remembering past wrongdoings.

Ty Lee has always seemed to prioritize her loyalty to individuals she cares about over loyalty to ideologies. Before 2x03, Ty Lee wanted to spend her time as an artist/performer and connect on a micro vs macro scale, and it can be argued this calling of hers never became less appealing than her political involvements and time spent hunting Azula’s prey out of some level of coercion.

Ty Lee and Katara might have the potential to work through unresolved tension because of Ty Lee’s personal motivations, disposition, and actions post-war that mark her attempts to be better (as well as maybe bringing to light at what level Ty Lee cares / does not care about the Fire Nation’s political status and how much / how little post-war she wants to do with her home nation particularly), especially after this whole other conversation about trust, honesty to others and to oneself, and not doing something blindly because of some higher authority or society telling you to do as they say.

Katara helping Ty Lee better understand how to make her own choices, decide her own philosophies, and stick by them, in part because Ty Lee admires that resolve in Katara, and Ty Lee being grateful for the aid in direction and someone who will take her wants into account of it.

Katara taking such pride in seeing the transformation in Ty Lee, as she so heavily values forming relationships and helping/watching people who are receptive to her influence grow, and she comes to very much respect Ty Lee for it and appreciate that reception to her.

Katara benefitting from someone with a bright disposition at default who might affirm parts of her innate idealism that the trauma of the war-torn world tries to snuff out.

As other people have pointed out, drawing connections between chi-blocking and waterbending, particularly healing and bloodbending, and knowing the points in the body, its weak points, how the energy flows, etc.

4. Do you respond to comments, and why?

I absolutely do! I enjoy interacting with my readers. However I am behind on answering them right now and have far more unanswered in my inbox than I’d like. >.>

5. What’s the fic you have written with the angstiest ending?

Probably all my unfinished multi-chapter fics

Seriously though? I’m not sure how to gauge that because of how many angst fics I’ve written that don’t end well ranging from just MCD fics to what follows the losses and how characters cope (or fail to) others which build on the fact that a character in BSD was a traitor to their organization, the hanahaki fics that didn’t end well…. I’m an angst writer so I have a multiple fics that didn’t end well.

I suppose a few which specifically come to mind are Why Couldn’t it Have Been You? and The Things T(He)y Did.

In the first one it’s a retelling of a scene in BSD and though I’m not entirely proud of that fic or the way I wrote it, it WAS sad as shit because it ends with the POV character (Dazai) learning the guy he’s still in love with (Chuuya) wants absolutely nothing to do with him and wishes he’d have died instead of the person (Odasaku) they both lost.

The second is a take on what the POV character’s (Tachihara from BSD) birthday was like through the years of playing a double agent and who he’d fallen in love with (Chuuya) along the way. During his latest birthday though he’s alone and it ends with Chuuya showing up sad and drunk because not long prior to that day he’d broken up with Tachihara for being a traitor. It’s implied they spend the night together and I left it up to interpretation whether Chuuya left (and took Tachihara’s cat) without a word the next day or not.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

I think the most rewarding ending was in my fic Not Yet and the reason why is because though the ending itself isn’t particularly happy, it is hopeful. The implications that the two characters wanted to continue growing their relationship beyond being hateful enemies just made ME happy. As well as multiple commenters who mentioned how perfect the ending was. XD I’m sure I have fics with happier endings but this one stuck out specifically because of how it made me feel when I wrote it.

7. Do you write crossovers, if so what’s the craziest one you have done?

I have come up with exactly ONE crossover before which was for BSD and YOI! I honestly came up with it for the sole purpose of bringing Nakahara Chuuya (BSD) and Yuri Plisetsky (YOI) together. Which…I’ve yet to actually do. BUT IT WILL HAPPEN ONE DAY!

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Strangely enough, nope! I even wrote sebaciel fic too so idk how I’ve managed that tbh.

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?

I don’t! Y’all will consistently get fade to black from me because that’s just mah damn style.

……..not that I’m aware of 😶

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I have! There is a Russian translation for It Started Out With A Book floating around out there somewhere I think. The first two fics in my IronStrange series got translated into Chinese and the first fic in that series also got translated into Vietnamese!

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Nope! And I’m not sure how interested I would be in doing so. But no one’s ever asked before so! Who knows! Maybe it would be fun.

Fuck this question. I’m a multi-shipping multi-fandom enjoying fiend. You think I can CHOOSE?! 😤

…….Kay so Nezushi or Soukoku come to mind first because they are the ships that drew me back to fanfiction and inspired me to write fic! (Y’all probs thought I’d say an Aang pairing XD)

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish, but don’t think you will?

I refuse to believe I won’t eventually finish them all. 😭

15. What are your writing strengths?

I’m pretty talented at making folks cry! I’ve been told my writing can be poetic and evocative! I believe that sometimes.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Everything

Probably dialogue and avoiding redundancy in my writing. I also can’t write action scenes for shit. 😬 Humor either. The one time I managed to have people laughing through my fic was a fluke and I’ll probs never be capable of repeating it.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?

So because I started writing fic for animes, I’ve just gotten used to utilizing terms and such that can’t be directly translated into English.

18. First fandom you wrote for?

I started writing for Bungou Stray Dogs in August of 2017! Still going strong with that one too! 😌 Fucking love that show/manga.

19. Fave fic you have written?

Ah noooooo I hate these questions because they’re so mean!!!! Why are you asking me yo choose between my creations? My children?!

So ima just say The Way He Flies again because it’s my most recent fic and I’m still so so proud of all 1k words of it.

Thanks for including me in ffwf! A WIP I'm excited to share is the fic about Aang's mom. I've been working on it for months, and I put a lot of thought and care into it. What was supposed to be a ficlet kind of spiraled, but I find the types of fics that run away from you and have a mind of their own tend to be the best. I'm very passionate about it! I'll share a small snippet:

“What is his name?” one of the monks asked, his black mustache peppered with specks of white. He had the kindest gaze, and smile lines were etched into his cheeks from years of use.

“Aang,” she replied, pulling a silly face when her son looked her way, sending him into another fit of giggles. “And yours?” she addressed the monk again, her curiosity piqued.

He chuckled at Aang’s antics before his eyes met hers. “Gyatso,” he answered with a small bow of his head.

As for someone else's WIP that I'm excited about, @foxy-knowledgeseeker vagued an Oma x Shu fic, and I haven't stopped thinking about it ever since. I would absolutely love to see their stories fleshed out!

Okay I know this is a terribly hard question but what are your top ten ATLA ships? (I know my fav ships change basically daily but I wanna know ur thoughts)

Okay, this is a tricky question for two reasons-- a) I’m not super into shipping (I have ships that I like, and ships I don’t, but I’m not super obsessed, and, in fact, I think fandom is a little too focussed with shipping in general), and b) my opinions on my various ships vary day to day.  Keeping that in mind, let’s see what I can come up with (just sticking to ATLA ships, because I've got a lot of LOK ships I really like): 

Toko (Toph x Zuko) 

Kataang (Katara x Aang) 

Maiko (Mai x Zuko) 

Sukka (Suki x Sokka) 

JetLee (Jet x Ty Lee) 

Azulaang (Azula x Aang) 

Yuaang (Yue x Aang) 

Sukaang (Suki x Aang) 

Yukka (Yue x Sokka) 

Sokkla (Azula x Sokka) 

Just off the top of my head, though I might change my mind in ten minutes. 

Alright, looking at this list, my tastes have clearly somewhat since last time I made one of these-- Maiko and Sukka have switched places, Yukka’s dropped from fifth to ninth, and five of these weren’t even on my radar. 

I’ve gotten pretty into JetLee (I blame @soozencreates)-- particularly considering that I don’t really even like Jet all that much. 

I’ve also clearly developed more of an interest in Aang rare pairs (which is entirely the fault of @praetorqueenreyna). 

I’d like to get more into Toph and Katara rare pairs. (Still not into Taang, Tokka, or Katoph, but @foxy-knowledgeseeker has opened my eyes regarding the potential of Harutara.) 

(I really wanted to put Hakya in here, probably as number 4, but that’s kind of cheating, considering that we know very little about Kya’s canonical personality, and I’m mostly just obsessed with the way I wrote them in my fic Something Like a Love Story.) (Same reason I didn’t include JuTen and YuLa.) (I’m also kind of into Malkoda and Ursem, but I didn’t think comic characters were included in the question.)

Sweet! There’s more (Spoooilers for DGS series: seriously guys don’t look if you don’t wanna have this ruined and boy I’m gonna ramble)

I didn’t skip ahead to the second game or anything (well... kind of, I did spoil myself), but I’ve found some very glaring issues with That Case, and that is:

Drugging. Ryunosuke was already put to sleep by the drugged chicken, before this ‘spur of the moment’ incident happened. Yet that was deduced as a way to put the ship into the emergency stop, again something that was... decided after Ryunosuke was asleep. Doesn’t add up.

Photograph. If Mitrov had removed Kazuma’s body and then initiated the locked room, exactly when did Sherlock have an opportunity to take the picture of the body next to the writing, never mind put a body line there? Sherlock pretty explicitly said that he took the picture as well, wtf.

Doctoring (lol). Ship’s doctor being the only one to examine the body, and give a ‘formal analysis’ in writing. Golly gee, where could this possibly go wrong. Certainly not getting flashbacks from another mystery game.

Sealed room x2. How... did they even get in to Kazuma’s room if it was locked shut, with no way to open it from the outside? Ryunosuke was even sealed in his own room sound asleep, something the opening sequence made very blatantly clear. 

Meta imagery. Speaking of that opening sequence, it contains a massive contradiction to the sailor’s words- Sherlock examining and photographing a body that should never have been there, and when Ryunosuke wakes up, the body... mysteriously vanishes.

What the fuck. I thought there was something weird and.. abrupt about the way that whole case ended. But it’s pretty evident the way Kazuma talks in the flashback and the way he talks at the end of the first trial, that he might have been planning something by having Ryunosuke stow away. Can’t believe I didn’t think more of it; as it is, the sailors were already scheming from the start, even going as far as to tamper food. So they were up to something big.

It’s quite similar in Ch5 V3 where the entire circumstances were schemed between Kaito and Ouma alone, before anyone else even got into the picture. If you ask me, circumstances like that are more suspicious than what happened in the cabin, especially considering Ouma literally had his hands on a freaking script and was able to predict a flow of events to adjust accordingly. But if you just run on the detective’s assumption that the two weren’t that close - even though Kiibo blatantly highlights the opposite - then the further-cooperation element all but vanishes (not too dissimilar to how everything became warped when the lady was forcibly removed from testimonies in DGS case 1!)

In both cases, there’s an element of ‘WTF, detective?’ to watch out for, and even a gap of time - about two years in the case of DGS to DGS II - between the next instalment that eventually cleared things up. It’s been just two years in the case of V3, and Shuichi still left things open for examination. What’s more, Kaito talks about how they ‘need a crazy plan’ to face off with Monokuma and ‘get closer to the lair’, and the entire plan involved jerking Shuichi around, like how Kazuma used Ryunosuke in his game for an obviously grander purpose without filling him in on the details. Add that with Ouma’s cryptic comments about ‘deceiving Monokuma until the very end’ and the way Kaito ‘carelessly crushed’ things in the hydraulic press for no discernible reason at all.

So how about this then? I think this shows without a doubt that suspicious things left open, even after a game’s end, doesn’t mean calling quits on the situation! What’s more is DGS clearly has an international conspiracy situation going on, while even the Ultimates talents and background factor in to a conspiracy, involving culture, law, religion and government. HAH!
