[Chapter 2]
Interaction: Kim Gwang-Il & Reader
Genre: Crime
[R13]
Word Count: 1.5K
A/N: Sorry for the wait! This chapter is shorter than the last but I hope you enjoy it regardless.
Summary: You were going to get out of there. Gwang-Il had left you to the boys as he said he would, but to your surprise, they hadn’t touched you yet. But with them on your tail, how will you plot to escape?
Tumblr media
"You've got work to do,"
One of the members, which you remembered to be 'Su-Jin', called out to you. You had found the other members in another room, their uninviting, sharp glares on piercing through you as you entered.
"What work?" As you spoke, the wave of goosebumps and your visible, inconsistent shivers awakened your awareness; you were still in your underwear alone. Almost as if on cue, Su-Jin tossed a satin red robe at you, "Before you say anything, it's oversized because it used to be Mr. Kim's."
Turning his back, Su-Jin continued with what he was doing, "As for the work, I'm referring to chores. We need to keep you busy and away from planning to escape, you see. Apart from that, there's a lot of clothes we'll need you to clean up." You flinched at the thought of what those clothes looked like. On top of that, the last thing you intended to do was assist criminals. They were not stupid; it was no surprise they expected you to devise a plan.
But you weren't stupid either, and you weren't going to let anything stop you. You were going to play along for now.
"No funny business," the other member in the room pointed a finger at you as he took a sudden step forward with a slight snarl sharpening his features, "you have a time limit. If you're not done by then, you'll have to face the consequences. Clear?"
Your eyes met with the finger in close proximity with your face, but you weren't intimidated at all. Matter of fact, you had to resist the urge to smile. "Where can I find the clothes?"
The member escorted you to a smaller room, and you followed as he entered. He gestured to a bath tub, gray and matted with age, and filled with bloodied clothing as you imagined, but the sight instantly caused your stomach to plummet. Who were you kidding? How could you play along and wash the blood of Gwang-Il's unfortunate victims?
"C-Can't we just throw these away?"
"Don't be stupid."
Wincing at the guilt gnawing at you, you struggled to form a sentence, "D-Do I really have to...wash blood?" In response, he threw you some gloves as if that would ease the situation for you. "Are you serious? That's not the only issue here. I'm not just gonna clean up the mess of a bunch of heartless criminals!"
"Then talk to Mr. Kim about it. He's the brains of this operation."
"In fact, yes I will."
Immediately after letting those words escape your mouth, you regretted it. There was no way you were in shape to speak with him now. "I'll escort you-"
"Uh, never mind," you cut him off and raised your palm, "I’ll go later. Just leave me be." He briefly glared at you as if he was suggesting to watch your tongue before he left you alone with your thoughts. And you thought this was a perfect opportunity to start devising a plan. You inhaled deeply to feel tranquil, but all that came of it was the pungent odor of old blood. You hated that you had to do this.
But you guessed this wasn’t your decision to make.
As you scrubbed at the blood-soaked clothes, you tried with great effort to hold back your tears. Your hands shook as you worked, your mind racing with thoughts of escape. How were you so unlucky that you ended up here, stuck in this hellhole? How would you escape?
You remembered the moment of your capture so vividly and you couldn't help but grit your teeth furiously at your ridiculous choice to ignore your parents' number one rule. Now, you were paying the price.
But you weren't going to give up. You had survived for this long so you assumed you were lucky enough to survive a little longer. You would find a way out of this mess, no matter what it took. You just had to keep your head down and play along for now, biding your time until the opportunity for escape presented itself.
You scrubbed harder at the clothes, trying to rid them of the stains that seemed to symbolize all of the horrors that you experienced. Maybe, just maybe, if you could wash them clean, you could wash away the guilt that weighed heavy on your conscience. Maybe, just maybe, you weren't beyond redemption.
But how were you going to get out of here? The members of the group were probably supposed to always watch you, their eyes observing your every move. You had to bide your time and wait for the perfect opportunity.
So, with each day that passed, you began to eavesdrop on their conversations, trying to gather any information that could be useful to your escape. You plan from the beginning was coming up again. You did as you were told and played along with it. It wasn't easy to listen in as they were often alert, their voices barely above a whisper. But you were determined.
As you finished up your futile duties and you overheard a hushed conversation between two of the members. They were talking about a job they had planned for the evening - a job that would take them away for hours. You strained to hear their words, trying to piece together their plan.
This was your chance to escape. At least a million thoughts crossed your mind; most were of fear and uncertainty, but truth be told, you didn’t care. You were not going to let an opportunity like this pass, though escape was probably more difficult than it seemed. But you were ready to do whatever it took to get out of there.
You waited impatiently until the members were all away, then gathered your meager belongings and crept out of the bedroom. Your heart pounded in your chest as you made your way through the dingy rooms, your paranoia gnawing at your determination.
As you reached the front door, you hesitated. This was it - your chance to flee and never look back. But what if you were caught? You couldn't shake the fear that Gwang-Il would track you down and punish you for your disobedience. His face was certainly the last thing you wanted to see.
You took a deep breath and stepped out into the night, determined to put as much distance between yourself and the group as possible.
You knew you had to keep moving - there was no telling how long it would take Gwang-Il and the others to realize that you were gone, and you didn't want to be around when they did.
You forced yourself to your feet and kept on walking, the faint glimmer of light on the horizon guiding you forward. You had no idea where you were going, but you knew you had to find a way to get help. You had to find a way to get back home to your parents, who you expected to be devastated.
You had no idea how much time had passed or how much distance you had covered, but you couldn't afford to stop. You had to keep moving, no matter how tired you were. You dragged your feet along the ground as you pushed yourself to the limit, your body aching with each step. Your mind was numb with exhaustion, and all you wanted to do was collapse and rest. But you couldn't give in to that temptation.
You had to keep going, no matter what.
So you kept on walking, your feet pounding the pavement in a relentless rhythm. You didn't know where you were going, but as long as you were far away, that was all that counted.
Out of nowhere, a voice rang out from behind you, sending shivers down your spine. “Where are you going?” Gwang-Il was right on your heels, his presence looming closer than you had expected. Your heart pounded in your chest as you turned to see Gwang-Il standing there, with what seemed like a genuine display of confusion on his face. However, it was quickly replaced with a chilling grin, his eyes glowing with a maniacal light.
Panic took hold and you bolted, your legs pumping beneath you as you fled through the darkness. The fear coursing through your veins acted as a driving force, urging you to move faster. But as you glanced over your shoulder, you saw that Gwang-Il was nowhere to be found. Confused and disoriented, you slowed your pace and scanned the area, searching for any sign of him. But the area was empty, and there was no trace of the menacing figure. Had you really outrun him, or was this just a twisted game? You couldn't be sure, but you knew you had to stay alert. Gwang-Il was a predator, and you were his prey.
As you frantically searched for an escape route, you noticed a shadowy figure lurking in the distance. It was one of Gwang-Il's henchmen, standing sentinel as if waiting for you to make a move. Your heart sank as the realization hit you - there was no way out. Gwang-Il had you completely surrounded, and you were trapped in his web of deceit.
You stood with your eyebrows furrowed and your breath caught in your throat, your mind racing as you tried to come up with a plan. Was this the end for you? You had been foolish to think that you could escape so easily, and now you were probably in an even worse situation than you were before.
Dazed, you turned back to see that Gwang-Il had returned, flashing a wide smile, and slowly but surely, he showed off a coin he had,
“Heads or tails?”

The Other Works of “The New Employee” Director Kim Jho Gwang Soo ***Mild Spoilers Ahead***
Tumblr media
Given that I am currently LOVING Korea’s newest office-set BL The New Employee, I thought others might be interested to explore the other works of this darling show’s director, Kim Jho Gwang Soo.  Here I am going to focus on projects that he screenwrote and/or directed as those are his queer works.  Many of them are available on Gagaoolala.
Who is Kim Jho Gwang Soo? As outlined in his MyDramaList biography, he is an openly gay South Korean filmmaker.  After collaborating with another openly gay director named Lee Song Hee Il’s 2006 film “No Regret” (regarded as Korea’s first gay feature film), he began to write and direct his own projects, as well as work as a producer.
I realized after starting the New Employee that I have seen almost all of Kim Jho Gwang Soo’s works that he has directed or written without knowing it was all by him, so I wanted to give a little rundown of his projects so other people can discover them as well!  Synopses are going to be from MDL and the title of each film will be the link to its MDL page.
NOTE: This summary will contain some mild spoilers for the purpose of trigger warnings!!  However, this post is also going off my memory and I have not watched everything recently so I apologize if I miss any warnings!  I will also give a blanket content warning for homophobia.  Most of his past works are not really set in the new Korean-BL world where homophobia barely exists so it is a theme in most, but not all, of his other projects.
Boy Meets Boy (2008) - Short film, Director & Screenwriter
Synopsis: On a warm spring day Min-soo, a small boy, meets tall and broad-shouldered Seok-yi inside a bus.  Min-soo keeps looking at the intimidating boy whose sharp eyes are hidden under his baseball cap. Min-soo's heart starts beating.  What will happen to Min-soo and Seok-i?
Thoughts: Super cute short film that the synopsis basically sums up.  Not a lot happens but it sure is adorable.  Happy ending.
Just Friends? (2009) - Short film, Director & Screenwriter
Synopsis: Min Soo is on leave from the military and visits his boyfriend Seok Yi. While having fun out on the town, they run into Min Soo's mother! When Min Soo's mother asks about their relationship, Seok Yi replies "... just friends." Making things more complicated, Min Soo's mother ends up sleeping with them that night!
Thoughts: My personal favorite of his pre-TNE works.  Stars (now-well-known) actors Lee Je Hoon and Yeon Woo Jin.  This is one of my favorite short films of all time.  A succinct and satisfying story in under 30 minutes, fantastic chemistry, adorable couple moments, and family drama.  It is also a follow up to Boy Meets Boy, but it’s not necessary to watch that one to understand and enjoy this one!  Happy ending, but some angst thrown in beforehand.
Love 100C (2010) - Short film, Director & Screenwriter
TW: homophobic violence
Synopsis: A hearing-impaired boy, Min Soo, is gay, and he likes his classmate, Ji Seok.  One day, Min Soo impulsively has sex with a man who works in a public bath, an experience that lends him a new-found confidence, but at a heavy price.
Thoughts: This is a pretty big departure from his first two short films, while it is happy for a bit of it, the film explores the danger of living in a homophobic society.  Ultimately it is a film about sexual self discovery as well as how queer people are often robbed of safe and healthy self discovery because of violence inflicted upon them.  Definitely NOT a happy ending.
Two Weddings and a Funeral (2012) - Full-length film, Director
TW: death, homophobic violence
Synopsis: A gay man, Min Soo and a lesbian, Hyo Jin are both promising doctors at a general hospital. The colleagues agree to marry so Hyo Jin can legally adopt a child with her lover of ten years Seo Yeong, and Min Soo can please his parents while maintaining his closeted lifestyle. While secretly living with their respective partners, who move in next door, Min Soo and Hyo Jin appear to be a happy, "normal" couple. They enjoy all the benefits afforded to heterosexual couples and are also able to ward off public scrutiny and parental disapproval. However, Min Soo's intrusive parents begin to get a bit too involved with the couple's life, threatening their scheme.
Thoughts: There are parts of this movie I really enjoy.  It was great to have both a gay and lesbian couple in the film and a lot of the film revolved around the gay lead’s group of gay friends.  There was also a lot of playing with Korean honorifics within the friend group that I found really cool to listen to.  However, I didn’t love how the most fem gay character was treated throughout the film and it was quite shocking in a bad way at some points, given that it is supposed to be a romantic comedy.  A happy ending, but at what cost, lol.
One Night Only (2014) - Short film, Director
I think this is actually two short films released together, but I have only seen the second part “One Night” and not the first part “Night Bug,” so I am going to focus on “One Night.”
Synposis: Geun Ho is almost hit by a car. At that time, Joon, who is visiting Jinju from Seoul, saves Geun Ho. They happen to meet at a bar later that night. Geun Ho and his friends goes to Seoul with Joon.
Thoughts: It has been ages since I watched this one, but I think I mostly liked it.  Not really a happy ending, but as far as I can remember does not contain violence in the way that some of his other works do.  While the MDL synopsis doesn’t mention it, the film actually focuses both on Geun Ho as well as his 2 friends, not only Geun Ho.
Made on the Rooftop (2021) - Full length film, Director
TW: serious medical issues.
Synopsis: Ha Neul, a job seeker who has nowhere to go after breaking up with his lover, Jung Min, moves to the house of his best friend Bong Shik, who lives in a tiny room. Bong Shik working as a BJ with a high tension + one-person broadcasting concept is courted by Min Ho, an attractive straight-forward man, but somehow just hesitates. Ha Neul and Jung Min try to reconcile, but they only go against each other and unintentionally hurt each other. One day, Jung-min is in a car accident and Ha Neul has to bring back Ari, the cat they used to raise together.
Thoughts: I really loved this movie.  Focuses on two friends and their respective romantic lives.  Deals with the realities of being in a closeted gay relationship with no legal rights when there is medical emergency, coming out to family, HIV, etc.  It is also genuinely really funny and, at many times, incredibly sweet and heartwarming.  One couple has a complete happy ending and the other has an open/unresolved but hopeful ending.  I would definitely recommend.
I hope anyone who sees this considers checking out these films.  Most (if not all) are available on Gagaoolala, but you can likely find them other places as well (but please support legitimate streaming if you’re able)!!  Also who else can’t wait for the next episode of The New Employee?

Weak Hero Character Names
For those who don't know, the Weak Hero webtoon anglicized a bunch of the characters' first names from Korean to English. They don't do this for newly introduced characters anymore AFAIK, but all the names they anglicized initially have been kept that way.
Since I've gotten a few people asking about the names, so I decided to compile a list of their original Korean names. You can find amost of these on their character profiles on the Weak Hero fandom page, but I figured people would appreciate having a quick reference that is all in one place. Hopefully this helps people learn/connect their original names.
Remember, this is not a full character list, it's for finding the Korean names of the characters that had their names anglicized.

A smart color-changing flexible battery with ultra-high efficiency
With the rapid growth of the smart and wearable electronic devices market, smart next-generation energy storage systems that have energy storage functions as well as additional color-changing properties are receiving a great deal of attention. However, existing electrochromic devices have low electrical conductivity, leading to low efficiency in electron and ion mobility, and low storage capacities. Such batteries have therefore been limited to use in flexible and wearable devices. On August 21, a joint research team led by Professor Il-Doo Kim from the KAIST Department of Materials Science and Engineering (DMSE) and Professor Tae Gwang Yun from the Myongji University Department of Materials Science and Engineering announced the development of a smart electrochromic Zn-ion battery that can visually represent its charging and discharging processes using an electrochromic polymer anode incorporated with a "π-bridge spacer," which increases electron and ion mobility efficiency. Their research was published as an inside cover article for Advanced Materials on August 3 under the title, "A π-Bridge Spacer Embedded Electron Donor-Acceptor Polymer for Flexible Electrochromic Zn-Ion Batteries."

[TRANS] IU ‘Flower Bookmark 2’ Album Introduction and Song Introductions
Tumblr media
ALBUM INTRODUCTION
A pristine and beautiful trail of memories that do not fade over time
IU’s second remake album [Flower Bookmark 2]
A book that I took and dusted off from an old library. As I turn the pages one by one, there are times when I find old four-leaf clovers or flower petals that are inserted like bookmarks. It’s a pristine and beautiful trace of a gift that contains someone's sincerity long ago. Along with it comes the memorable pieces of writing that are underlined on each page. This 'Flower Bookmark' may be one of the symbols of youth culture that show the romance and sentiments of the past analog generation which are slowly being forgotten these days.
IU's second remake album, [Flower Bookmark 2], is an extension of the remake album [Flower Bookmark] which was released in 2014 and received excellent reviews from the public and critics. This is a special mini album which reflects both the analog emotions contained in the original songs and the unique lyricism of ‘IU’. Like the previous [Flower Bookmark] album, IU herself selected music from previous generations which are like “flower bookmarks” that she had always cherished and collaborated with musicians of a wide range of generations and genres, including Jeong Jae-il, Ko Tae-young, Hong So-jin, Kang Yi-chae, Jukjae, Lim Hyun-je (Hyukoh), Kim Sung-mo and Jung Sung-ha, to make more detailed efforts than ever to add IU's color on top of the original songs’ unique sentiments.
[Flower Bookmark 2] uses IU’s pure tone to reinterpret songs of the past that transcend generations, in the hopes to revive pristine and beautiful moments that do not fade over time, connecting generations after generations, providing deep empathy and resonance in them and becoming a gift of memories as a ‘flower bookmark’.
SONG INTRODUCTIONS
01. 가을 아침 (Autumn morning)
Lyrics by Lee Byung-woo
Composed by Lee Byung-woo
Arranged by Jung Sung-ha
Originally sung by Yang Hee-eun
“This song is included in [Yang Hee-eun 1991], an album commemorating the 20th anniversary of ‘Morning Dew’. Yang Hee-eun sunbaenim shared with me that it was an album that she finished recording 9 songs in a day together with Director Lee Byung-woo, who was studying in Vienna at the time, while she was in New York. I listened to this album a lot because I respect them musically and could sense the refreshing vibes of the two of them when they were young, so this is my favorite song from that album. Even though the song is simple in its structure, the guitar performance, voice and lyrics are perfectly combined, making it as beautiful as the title, autumn morning.”
02. 비밀의 화원 (Secret Garden)
Lyrics by Lee Sang-eun
Composed by Lee Sang-eun
Arranged by Echae Kang
Originally sung by Lee Sang-eun
“These are my favorite lyrics from [Flower Bookmark 2]. I like Lee Sang-eun sunbaenim’s simple sentences that are filled with warmth. In particular, I think the lyrics that switch freely between the perspectives of ‘just me’, then as an ‘adult’ and as a ‘person who falls in love’ are really cool.
I could relate to the lyrics which go, ‘Forget what happened yesterday / Everyone makes slight mistakes’ and they gave me comfort.”
03. 잠 못 드는 밤 비는 내리고 (Sleepless rainy night)
Lyrics by Kim Chang-hwan, Park Gwang-hyun / Composed by Kim Chang-hwan, Park Gwang-hyun / Arranged by Hong So-jin, Jukjae / Originally sung by Kim Gun-mo
“This is a song that I really wanted to remake someday. I was in a hurry to do it first before anyone else did, so I even considered putting just this one song as a remake on my 4th full-length album [Palette] which was released last spring, that’s how ambitious the song made me. I heard about Kim Gun-mo sunbaenim’s vocal range and was prepared to some extent, but I was surprised several times throughout the recording, saying, ‘Oh, I can’t believe this’. I'm cautiously predicting that it will be the song that has the most fanatics (Note: people going crazy over) in [Flower Bookmark 2] ☆”
04. 어젯밤 이야기 (Last night story)
Lyrics by Park Gun-ho
Composed by Lee Ho-jun
Arranged by Im Hyun-je (Hyukoh) , Kim Sung-mo
Originally sung by Sobangcha (Fire Truck)
“This was a song that was so famous and well-loved that I felt a lot of pressure to remake, but I courageously did so because it was also such an attractive song to that extent.
From the chord progression to the story in the lyrics and to the main riff (Note: a short repeated sequence of notes or chords to make a song catchy), it is a song that I’m in awe whenever I listen to it because it is perfectly balanced and solid and this is the song I worked on the most happily in this album.”
05. 개여울 (By the stream)
Lyrics by Kim So-wol
Composed by Lee Hee-mok
Arranged by Jung Jae-il
Originally sung by Jung Mi-jo
“This is a song that so many seniors have done remakes of. Among the various versions of ‘By the Stream’, I took reference from the version of this song in Jeong Mi-jo sunbaenim's 2016 album [37 Years] the most. In no other song is there a person that is as hateful and irresponsible as the one who leaves in the lyrics. As it's a song about yearning for such a person, the ‘deep sorrow’ and ‘desperate resentment’ enter your heart as they are, without any defense or embellishments.
The ‘By the stream’ that (Kim Jeong-hee) sunbaenim first sang and the recent ‘By the stream’ sung decades later come across as distinctly different from the emotions to the stories in their voices. If given the chance, I want to sing this song again after a long time.”
06. 매일 그대와 (Everyday with you)
Lyrics by Choi Sung-won
Composed by Choi Sung-won
Arranged by Go Tae-young
Originally sung by A Wild Chamomile
“I think there’s no need for a long explanation for this song. Everyday with you is the best!”
Translated by IUteamstarcandy

Tumblr media Tumblr media
At its core, "The Atypical Family" is a poignant exploration of loss, identity, and resilience. The superpowers in the series symbolize personal strengths and coping mechanisms that the characters gradually lose due to life’s adversities. Gwi-ju’s battle with depression and his quest to rediscover happiness is a narrative that resonates deeply with many viewers, reflecting real-world struggles with mental health.
The series also tackles issues such as body image, family dynamics, and the sense of isolation felt by those who are different. Each character’s journey is a testament to the human spirit’s capacity to adapt and find new sources of strength and joy.
"The Atypical Family" enjoyed impressive viewership ratings, averaging 3.778% nationwide and 4.418% in Seoul. It consistently topped viewership charts, underscoring its popularity and the emotional connection it forged with its audience. These ratings reflect the show’s ability to attract and retain a dedicated following despite being broadcast on a cable channel, which typically garners smaller audiences compared to public broadcasters.
youtube
The original soundtrack of "The Atypical Family" significantly enhances its emotional impact. With beautifully composed pieces by artists such as So Soo-bin, Lee So-ra, and Yi Sung-yol, the music resonates deeply with the series' themes. The OST includes:
Part 1: "Walking with You" by So Soo-bin
Part 2: "I See You" by Lee So-ra
Part 3: "Laputa" by Yi Sung-yol
Each track captures the essence of the characters' journeys and the show's emotional beats, making the viewing experience even more immersive.
Tumblr media
"The Atypical Family" is a standout series that deftly blends the fantastical with the deeply personal. It offers a unique perspective on the superhero genre, focusing not on epic battles but on the intimate struggles of a family facing extraordinary challenges. The series' compelling performances, intricate character development, and heartfelt storytelling make it a must-watch.
For fans of Korean dramas and those new to the genre, "The Atypical Family" is an unforgettable journey into the complexities of human emotion and resilience. Be sure to catch it on JTBC or stream it on Netflix to experience this remarkable tale.
Honest Comment: At first I didn't know the other actors I only knew the male lead, at first I was confuse of the story like how it happens I will not spoil but it is Fantasy about super power but it is different. Its only 12 episode but it is worth the watch I like the plot the tense and how the story goes. I recommend this series It is worth it.

HYDE, JEKYLL, ME // KDRAMA DİZİ YORUMU
UYARI : Yazılar genel olarak spoiler içerebilir. İçermeyedebilir.
İmdb puanı: 7 Benim puanım: 8
Drama: Hyde Jekyll, Me
Hangul: 하이드 지킬, 나
Director: Jo Young-Gwang, Park Shin-Woo
Writer: Lee Choong-Ho (comic), Kim Ji-Woon
Date: 2015
Language: Korean
Country: South Korea
Cast: Hyun-Bin, Han Ji-Min, Sung Joon, Hyeri, Lee Seung-Joon
Yıl olarak  benim kırmızı çizgim olan 2016’yı yakalayamamış olmasına rağmen başarılı bulduğum dizilerden biriydi. Aynı zamanda Hyun Bin’in askerlik sonrası çıkış dizisiymiş.
Hatta Robin’in kendi hayatı vardır. Çok sevilen bir çizgi roman çizeridir. Kendi arkadaşları, ayrı bir çevresi vardır.
Diziyi Kill me, Heal me” den önce izlediğim için çok şanslıyım diyebilirim. Herhangi bir kıyas olmadan boş bir kafayla izlemek daha keyifliydi. Zira ikisi de aynı sene çıkmış olmasına rağmen “Kill me, Heal me” alır yürür.

Daily Dong-A, Wednesday, January 9, 1957
On the Platform, Under the Platform
By Paik Gwang-ha, the Reporter
The third trial of the attempted assassination case on Vice President Chang Myon was held on the 7th. The trial was scheduled to be held in the morning, but it was held at 2:30 p.m. after a temporary recess due to congestion caused by large crowds and lasted until around 4:50 p.m.
To sum up the statements of the two defendants, Choi Hoon and Kim Sang-bung,
Choi Hoon: "The only truth of my statements so far is my name "Choi Hoon," and the rest are all false statements that I have made at the direction of Lee Deok-shin. My conscience pricked me, so I decided to only tell the truth from now on. In August last year, Lieutenant Lee Deok-shin of the Seongdong Police Station knew that I was an official of the Seongdong-gu Branch of Democratic Party. He succeeded in getting me ousted from Democratic Party by spreading the fact that I was an ex-convict. Then, he seduced me that he would help me become the head of the Gyeonggi passenger company. "This mission is the direction from Commissioner General Kim Jong-won of the National Police Agency of the Ministry of Home Affairs. If you kill the vice president, you will become the head of a big passenger company and I will become the chief of the Inspection Department of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency." Lee Deok-shin told me this every day. So I shared this offer with Kim Sang-bung, and the man accepted, "All right, let's give it a shot." After that, we met with Chang Young-bok, chief of the Special Intelligence Division of the National Police Agency and Park Sa-il, director of the Anti-communist Investigation Office, several times to discuss the matter. We received a total of 180,000 hwan, including 100,000 hwan from Chief Oh Chung-hwan of the Inspection Department of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, but we found that the amount was not enough expenses for our activities. So we visited Commissioner General Kim Jong-won of the National Police Agency, and complained, "How can such a lack of finances support the important mission?" Then Commissioner General Kim told us, "Meet with Chief Chang of the Special Intelligence Division, and he will help you.""
Kim Sang-bung: "All of Choi Hoon's statements are true. The commissioner general of the National Police Agency is behind this case. He was watching our back. In fact, my ultimate goal was to lay bare the true nature of the police to the world."
Regarding these statements, Commissioner General Kim Jong-won of the National Police Agency said on the 8th, "The statements of the two defendants at the third trial are completely false, and all of them are conspiracies by Democratic Party."

‘Moving’ Episode 20: Han Hyo Joo, Ryu Seung Ryong, Zo In Sung’s Characters Find Their Happy Ending
Tumblr media
The Disney+ original series ‘Moving’ has come to an end with its 20th episode, delivering a satisfying conclusion for the characters and the viewers. The superhero action drama, based on the webtoon by Kang Full, starred Han Hyo Joo, Ryu Seung Ryong, Zo In Sung, Cha Tae Hyun, and other talented actors as people with hidden superpowers who fight against dark forces.
‘Moving’ Episode 20: The Final Battle
Tumblr media
(Photo : Disney+) The finale episode began with a tense showdown between Lee Mi Hyun (Han Hyo Joo) and Jung Joon Hwa (Yang Dong Geun), a North Korean soldier who also has the ability to fly. Mi Hyun was in danger of being killed by Joon Hwa, but her son Kim Bong Seok (Lee Jung Ha) came to her rescue and fought against him. However, Mi Hyun wanted Bong Seok to run away, knowing that the North Korean troop leader Kim Deok Yoon (Park Hee Soon) was aiming a gun at him. Fortunately, Bong Seok was saved by Jeon Gye Do (Cha Tae Hyun), who used his electromagnetic power to kill Joon Hwa. Deok Yoon then tried to escape with the files that contained the secrets of the superpowered people, but he was chased by Jang Joo Won (Ryu Seung Ryong) and Lee Jae Man (Kim Sung Kyun) to the rooftop.
Tumblr media
(Photo : Disney+ Korea) Joo Won and Jae Man confronted Deok Yoon, who revealed that he had been working for Frank (Ryoo Seung Bum), a mysterious man who wanted to use the superpowers for his own agenda. Deok Yoon also confessed that he was the one who killed Jae Man’s father 50 years ago, when he was part of a secret mission to capture the superpowered people. Deok Yoon then tried to jump off the building with the files, but he was stopped by Joo Won, who grabbed his arm. Jae Man then shot Deok Yoon in the chest, causing him to fall. Joo Won managed to hold on to the files and pulled himself up.
The Aftermath
Tumblr media
(Photo : Disney+ Korea) A year later, the superpowered people were living normal lives without being hunted by anyone. Jang Hee Soo (Go Youn Jung) and Lee Kang Hoon (Kim Do Hoon) graduated from high school with their parents’ attendance, except for Bong Seok and Mi Hyun, who had gone into hiding since the incident. Joo Won continued his chicken business with Kwon Young Deuk (Park Gwang Jae), a former North Korean soldier who became his assistant. Hee Soo entered the university’s physical education department and became friends with Shin Hye Won (Shim Dal Gi), a girl who had super speed. Kang Hoon visited Mr. Min (Moon Sung Geun), the head of the NIS, and expressed his desire to join the agency with one condition: to clear his father’s name from criminal records. Mr. Min agreed and revealed that Kang Hoon’s father was actually a hero who sacrificed himself to protect the superpowered people from Frank.
Tumblr media
(Photo : Disney+ Korea) Kang Hoon also met the school guard and his classmate who disguised themselves as part of Jeonwon High School, but in reality they were high-ranking NIS officials who had been monitoring the superpowered people. Bong Seok and Mi Hyun left town and lived a peaceful life in a rural area. They occasionally received letters from Hee Soo and Kang Hoon, who updated them on their lives. Hee Soo also told them about a superhero wearing a yellow cape who appeared in Seoul and saved people from danger. In the last scene, it was revealed that the superhero was Kim Doo Shik (Zo In Sung), Bong Seok’s father and Mi Hyun’s husband, who had been held captive by Frank for 50 years. He managed to escape with the help of Park Il Chan (Jo Bok Rae), a North Korean soldier who sympathized with him. Doo Shik returned to South Korea and killed Frank, who had been hiding as an American businessman named Mark (Daniel C Kennedy). He then reunited with his family and hugged them tightly.
