On preparations.

I spent the fourth of July in Florida with Maddie and the family. The display of residential fireworks was breathtaking. It really was a gorgeous and glorious holiday, and even Maddie got to come outside for a little bit. Today has been quite the day. or is it days? I don't even know. I arrived and they shuttled me and everyone else to our respective villages and we checked ourselves in. We walked to our village and found our rooms and began unpacking. I was done fairly quickly, but had made a list of a few things I still needed nonetheless. I walked the 2+ miles to Aldi with 2 other roommates and a friend of one of theirs and got myself some food for the next few days, hangers, bath stuff (I need shampoo and conditioner cause I really needed a shower), etc. All was found at Aldi and made the trek back to Kilmurry Village. The room I have is adorable. it's a bit small, but not so small that it makes you feel claustrophobic. even though it's barely 1900 here, I'm settling in for the night. Going to watch a few movies and scroll through social media hoping to hold out until 2100 or 2200. thankfully, there is nothing going on orientation wise until around 1400 and it's optional (I'll probs go). It's beautiful here. hoping to get some great pics to post this week.
