#Killua chimera ant arc outfit

Getting into HxH made me realize that I have no idea how to draw kids. I'm just not used to the proportions and it looks ridiculous every time. I'll figure it out eventually but jfc my drawings really be looking like mideval depictions of infants (aka tiny grown man syndrome)

Wow, what an interesting username. As a big fan of HunterxHunter, can I ask your top favorite characters and top favorite moments from the series? Feel free if you want to write the reasons or not of why you love those characters.....

Favourite characters:

Gon - for obvious reasons, he's just such an amazingly complex human character. He can be happy and super kind, but he also can lose his patience and yell when frustrated - and I;m not even talking about the Pitou situation. He has high emotional intelligence, though it's not perfect which is a very nice balanced characterisation. I love that from the very start his drive and determination are shown as a bit creepy, that he can get lost in them. And progressively, as the story goes he gets more lost in them.

Then there's the whole Chimera Ant arc... Togashi does a full on trauma study with Gon. His denial bordering on delusion, how he gets more and more tense. How he stops giving a shit about some stuff, like when he full on threatened Meleoron with death. How because of how severe the trauma is, he distances himself from everyone. While during the Hunter's Exam he sought others out to combat his depression. It's so interesting how we, as the audience, get progressively less and less insights into his mind. He becomes more closed off not only to Killua and the other people around him but to the audience as well.

Killua - I love him pretty much for the same reasons as I love Gon. There's just so much to him. I really like how he has limited resources of caring and he pours them into Gon, Alluka and Nanika mostly, and a little bit into others. I love it how the persona he created for himself as a defense mechanism hides his what he's really like, though at the same time the persona is also true to some extent. and with him we get the reverse than with Gon, as the story goes on we get more and more insight into his thoughts even though he does not share them as much with the other characters. And he loses his distance he. Initially he clearly is skeptical of people, but as the story goes on he broadens his circle of friends, even invites Ikalgo into it.

It's funny that during the Chimera Ant arc Killua becomes the main pov character. Even earlier it can be felt, Gon's very filtered through Killua's perception of him and that's a very interesting writing choice.

And I love all his outfits, it's such a cute detail.

Melody - I love her back story and her powers. I really hope she will get to do more in the current arc, now that she's not acting as Pikachu's support.

Leorio - he's both hilarious and very endearing. Another one putting up a front that is partially true. And I absolutely love how unique his goal is compared to the other characters. He genuinely wants to change the world, king. Togashi please please let us see more of him ;-;

Hisoka - he's so perfectly awful. He's terrifying and creepy. He's all about having fun and for him that's murder... I like villains who enjoy themselves.

Palm - she's complicated to like because Togashi really does her dirty with downplaying her seriously toxic situation with Knov and then "curing" her with the ant transformation. But she is an interesting character.

I also like Canary and Alluka and Nanika, though they have so little time, a lot of what I like about them are how I expanded on them in fics... So it's a little strange to write about them. I'm tentatively getting invested in Oito, Kachou and Fugetsu and other murder boat characters, but Togashi has such a large cast there that he's being stingy with individual characters.

Favourite moments:

All the moments when Gon and/or Killua are in a panel? Or the other characters I like?

Moments are really hard to pinpoint for me because I'm more into story lines, character develpment arcs... But I will try to mention a few:

I love Gon's impatience during Heaven's Arena arc.

I like the moment when they are captured by the Spiders. Gon yelling at the Spiders is just so intense. I also like it when Killua is like: that doesn't mean anything, to a poser Chrollo response.

I love Killua's pettiness on Greed Island.

I honestly can't talk about moments in Chimera Ant arc because to me it exists as a whole. But I really like the scenes between Meruem and Komugi.

I like the Cheadle moments when she gets frustrated by Ging or Pariston, I feel for her but these are so good.

Kalluto and Gon but as a duo!

I thought of two different concepts for them.

Number one, Kalluto was the one who left instead of Killua and took his place in the story.

And number two, Kalluto comes searching for Killua on Whale Island after the Chimera Ant Arc. When they met Kalluto and Gon became friends and something something Kalluto and Gon decide they want to travel together but first Kalluto goes and does the hunter exam where he meets someone that can help with Gon’s nen situation and they start traveling the world together with some new outfits.

Small notes about their designs, they each are wearing a piece of fabric that matched one another, Kalluto let Gon cut his hair while he helps style and care for his. Also Aunt Mito helped them pick out their outfits.

Killua chimera ant arc outfit

If Alluka’s power doesn’t work, Gon will die as a result of using all of his future life force to take down Pitou and avenge Kite. Considering that he has Alluka with him - who is able to transform into Something, or “Nanika” as Killua affectionately calls her - Killua is Gon’s last hope. Related: The Best Idea For A New Pokemon Game Comes From This One Episode Of The AnimeĪt the end of the episode prior to Defeat x And x Reunion, Killua finally reaches Gon’s location in NGL. With the pretext of Chimera Ants in your mind’s eye, you can carefully place the Election arc on said tee and smack it into the stratosphere. While I’m a big fan of Long Gon and recognize the high caliber to which the Killua vs Youpi and Meruem vs Netero fights are written and animated, Chimera Ants, for me, is just a very competent tee for the Election arc that follows it. Many people consider this exceptionally long arc to be Hunter x Hunter writer Yoshihiro Togashi’s magnum opus, although I’m inclined to disagree. This is important, because after seeing Gon and his pals use their newfound knowledge of Nen in Yorknew City and Greed Island, Gon and Killua are tasked with battling the nefarious Chimera Ants in NGL. The Hunter’s Exam adroitly introduces us to our main cast, while Heaven’s Arena - despite its short runtime - explains the mysterious properties of Nen, which serves as the core foundation for the power dynamics we witness over the course of the next 100+ episodes. Anyway, the ridiculously high quality of every episode means that pretty much every single Hunter x Hunter arc is exceptional in its own right. I’m a firm believer that Hunter x Hunter (2011) has no bad episodes - except for episode six, which simply does not exist.

My HxH ships

Disclaimer: These are my thoughts on my ships to share with my Tumblr friends. If you’re some stranger who disagrees with it and it evokes negative emotions on you, kindly exit. I know the internet has a bunch of trolls/idiots that has a habit of harassing people because the ship is “wrong” or it doesn’t suit them. Well, honestly, I don’t really care if you agree with them because I don’t know you personally? And this is fictional so it’s not something to be taken personally or even seriously. Don’t confuse my personal values with what I like with the ships.

I can’t believe I even need to make a disclaimer on this because a bunch of people don’t know how to be civilized once they are anonymous on a social media platform. I will just block lol; BYEEE.

HxH I love:

Defintion - Actively ships them, willing to make fanfics of them if possible

1. Kurapika x Neon

This ship is so underrated it hurts. They may not be similar in terms of personality and views of the dead: Neon focuses more on the living and the present (that’s why she doesn’t have sympathy for the dead and tells Chrollo her fortunes are for the living), while Kurapika focuses on the past and mourns for the dead (his mourning for his clan). But I think both of them are very similar in terms of loneliness. Neon doesn’t have friends and lacks affections from her father; Kurapika is lonely because all of his clan members are dead.

I know the common barrier is Neon’s hobby for flesh collecting, but I think this difference is what makes it more complicated and interesting for me. Especially when Kurapika has been in many seasons under the Nostrade Family... it makes me wonder what kind of interactions they had since it was all Killua and Gon on-screen.

2. Hisoka x Machi

I actually had always liked Hisoka with Machi together. Hisoka seems to really like her and enjoys her company. Machi may seem irritated by him but I think she’s more of a tsundere? She still decides to patch him after the fight against Chrollo, and their relationship got a bit more complicated after the Hisoka vs Chrollo fight.

3. Tserreidnich x Theta

Okay, I LOVE this ship. This is right out love-hate kind of relationship. It lowkey reminds me of Clarice/Hannibal and I find this ship so fascinating? I don’t see a lot of fanfics of them unfortunately. So Legacy by Alltagsabenteuer is a blessing from heaven because it’s the only TsexTheta tag in AO3.

So far I haven’t found anyone else who loves this ship, so please identify yourself if you do.

I’m starting to think I like those complicated love-hate dynamics....

HxH ships I like:

Definition of like - Actively ships them, may make fanfics of them or not. But doesn’t think of them 24/7.

1. Pokkle x Ponzu

This was like, a ship that never really sailed because Togashi decided to kill them both. I think this ship had potential and I’m hoping they find happiness in the afterlife.

2. Chrollo x Neon

I actually really liked how they vibe together during this one scene (although Chrollo targetted to meet her for her fortune-telling abilities). I am a KuraNeon shipper but I like the idea of Chrollo being a 3rd party because I think it fits so well? Chrollo and Kurapika are enemies and I had always found it fascinating how both of them got entangled with the same woman.  Also, people be like “Neon is 16″ uhhh... Hunterpedia states she’s born in 1982, along with Kurapika and Milluki. She’s the same age as Kurapika and Milluki; and Kurapika is widely accepted as 19 now; and it does tally if you see the Hunter x Hunter timeline (although there has been several discrepancies and dubious canonity when it comes to the Official Hunter x Hunter database and the HxH manga timeline). I’m not sure why people falsely remember Neon as a year younger than Kurapika and use it as a common argument to not support Chrollo/Neon when people have no problems (except for some) when it comes to shipping Kurapika with Chrollo.

So... Chrollo be that Mr. Steal Yo Girl and Kurapika’s posessive reaction to it will be astronomical.

HxH ships I support:

Definition of support: Does not actively ship them, but definitely likes the idea of them

1. Killua x Canary

I love how Canary tries her best for Killua and she does care about him. I realised that Killua seems to have an issue with older women (e.g. Bisky, Elevator girl), but I think for girls who are about his age, he’s okay with them. There is a misconception that he can’t communicate with women well (probably because he has issues with his mother), but I think that’s just for old ladies - Canary is cool with him.

2. Hisoka x Illumi

It drives me nuts how these two have matching outfits. I know that they have a more of a give-and-take transactional relationships rather than purely friends, but this is fab best friendship goals. My friend loves this ship and I absolutely support it.

3. Retz (with either Gon or Killua)

The unreasonable hate on Retz is insane because “she’s ruining KilluGon”. I think it’s really refreshing to see Killua and Gon hang out with another girl their age. You can see that Gon is really sweet towards her. Killua is more suspicious of her for a good reason but he never hated her. Remember that Killua is not used to interacting with people due to his family background. In fact, as @u-named mentioned, Killua and Retz shares similarities in terms of wanting to be free from their family.

4. Alluka x Gon

I would love to see a fanfic where Gon starts to woo Alluka and Killua will be that overprotective brother, knowing that his best friend is a player. Alluka/Nanika healed Gon anyway, so she’s technically his saving angel.

5. Ging x Gon’s unnamed mom

Okay, this is a bit weird cause we don’t know who Gon’s mom is... (and screw that Pregnancy Stone theory, I just think it’s weird how Ging mentioned Gon’s mom in the tape if he never had a mom lmao; is he gonna say “which you don’t have” like ???).

I actually like fanfics that explores Ging’s life before Gon and various interpretations of who Gon’s mom is.

What Lies Beyond by Thatsoneperson is one of the best fanfics I’ve read when it comes to Ging’s life before Gon. The ending was really heartbreaking and I had always loved the “Gon’s mom was from the DC” theory because Yusuke’s ancestral father came from the Demon World and there were hints of Gon’s dark aura throughout CA and Election arc.

Somehow in my headcanon, I had always envisioned Gon’s mom to resemble Usagi from Sailor Moon but with Gon’s hair colour. Gon also has certain personality traits that are very different from Ging and I believe that came from his mother.

6. Meruem x Komugi

One of the most unexpected, beautiful, saddest, semi-canon pairings in the entire series. It highkey reminds me of Beauty and the Beast. It was beautiful how Meruem, a Chimera Ant that was supposed to be destined to rule the world above humans, became gradually attached to a blind human girl.

7. Killua x Machi

This is fucking weird; because of the age gap but I like to think Killua meets her again one day when he grows up, and they had some sort of flirtation because he needs to be on par with Gon when it comes to dating women.

There was actually a cute fic about that called A Series of Pick Up Lines by Yandere Shoujo where Killua was trying to use pick up lines on a woman because he wanted to try it out after knowing that Gon dated women prior and just so happens to bump into Machi.

Ok so not an update but...

I got food poisoning yesterday from a fish I ate (yuck) so I had to stay home for the day but I finally got around to watching the Chimera Ant Arc. I’ve been putting it off since it was so long and I heard it was sad.

I’m stopped right before Meruem and Netero’s fight but, holy crap, Chimera Ant arc? More like ✨Sweetchup’s Simp Arc✨.

Don’t worry I’ll explain 😳:

So first episode of Arc, fricking Kite man. I’m not a fan of long haired or white haired anime boys but once he started talking and being all caring. I was like G O N E, brain empty only this man. (I’m so sad he’s dead)

Then, we meet the Ants. Some of them I don’t like (especially the ones the killed pokkle and ponzu) but some of them like Colt and even Zazan (she be pretty) I was like “Omg stop making me want to like the villains”

Of course included in the ants we have the Royal guards.

Pitou (I’m mad they killed kite) but I can’t help but simp. The fact she says Nyan with almost every sentence they speak and that outfit, just Simp material right there for me.

Pouf, I’m iffy on. His personality is amazing for the plot but he angers me sometimes. However, I can’t help but be like you a beautiful man sir, keep up your work🦋. I’m also a sucker for violins

Youpi, we didn’t get to see him a lot compared to the other guards (at least as far as I’ve gotten) but I was simping over him as well. I’m a little scared after he started transforming though 😨.

Okay back on track to the plot however, when Gon and Killua ran away after Kite was attacked, we meet their soon to be teammates/friends of this arc.

At first, I wasn’t a big fan of Knuckle and Shoot when I saw them. I simped for Palm right away

I think it was the way they were designed it just made me say “eh”.

Though, of course, like everything else in this arc when we got to seeing their personalities. Man I got knocked over (someone call me an ambulence).

Knuckle and the dogs 🥺. As well as how he tries to act tough but is a big softy. This boy snatched me by my hair.

I caught my breath after that and was like Okay, Shoot can’t be any better than anyone I’ve simped for so far.

But he proved me wrong. So wrong!!! When they said he was was faint of heart and he couldn’t hurt attack Killua or Gon. I was just—

As we kept going on with the Arc however, I was like oh No... oh no no no.

Like I’m a major Shalnark Simp. I’m simping for these boys too hard. This isn’t going good for me, I can’t abandon my bestest boi like this.

Then.... as if this Arc couldn’t get any better, episode 96 and 97 came around and we got the Phantom Troupe Vs Chimera Ants.

These episodes are my lord and savior that saved me from abandoning my best boi (I’ve seen his clips and parts of the episodes before but the full episodes still was awesome.)

We also got to see Kalluto. Cute kid. 100% would adopt if given the chance.

Finally, the only other thing I can think of with my brain being dead from simping too hard, is how cute Komugi and Meruem are together.

Now before you attack me saying Komugi is like 14 or something like that. I found out she isn’t (Another Tumblr did the math and explains it better) . When talking to Meruem who used her Gongi technique, she mentioned she made it 10 years ago.

So, since like the youngest she could enter in a national tournament was like 8 or 10? If she was a child prodigy. Then doing the math, she should at least be 18 to 20. So she’s a young adult, so it’s fine.

Point proven~~

10/10 would recommend watching the whole Simp arc all at once if you want to melt your brain.

Top 5 favourite characters: Truthfully, my top five are Shoot, Knuckle, Hanzo, Kite, and Gon. The three uncles, the honorary father, and the son. ❤

Other characters you like: Too many!!! I do love Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio. Kastro I really liked from the Tournament Arc. Melody, definitely! She’s the best. And, of course, Morel. I adore Big Papa Smoke. Palm and Knov, as well. Along with Ikalgo and Meleoron. ❤ Too many good characters.

Least favourite characters: I’ll have to say Illumi and Hisoka. I like them to an extent.

Otps: I am a sucker for Nashuu. 💓 What can I say? I really like Kurapika with Leorio, too.

Favourite friendships: Gon and Killua of course! They are such a good pair. Shoot and Knuckle are the bestest though. I love them too much. Honestly, I really love when Meleoron and Ikalgo get to be with Gon and the others, especially after the Chimera Ant Arc. It’s so sweet.

Favourite family: Oh, I love Gon and Aunt Mito. 💌

Favourite episodes: There are too many good ones, but you know I have to put 86. For reasons. ❤ The biggest ones for me…were 112 and…118 just becauae of how emotional they made me. Especially 112. That episode made me SOB. After I finished the episode, I had to step away from the computer to breathe, I was crying too much. Not necessarily in a bad way, but I did get really choked up.

Favourite season/book/movie: Favorite season is the Chimera Ant Arc, even though it’s also the absolute worst at the same time. Favorite book is…the very first one! I was about to say Vol 20 or Vol 25, but the very first one makes me so happy. It’s my favorite cover, too! 💚

Favorite movie I don’t have an answer for. The Last Mission was pretty good, and I know there are at least one or two more I believe? I’ve only seen one though.

Favourite quotes: I absolutely loved it when Knuckle said “Everyone has a heart. That’s what I want to believe.” And…Shoot’s whole inner monologue right before he fights. Even when Shoot explains to Killua how he doesn’t like to hurt people. I still can’t handle them, I get so emotional just thinking about them.

Best musical moment: Well…I know when Pouf plays his violin it is incredibly musical. That’s the only thing I can think of to say here! That scene is so out of place, but the music is lovely at least.

Moment that made you fangirl/boy the hardest: I actually remember when I first got into Hunter x Hunter, and I saw that Hanzo got four badges in the hunting exam, literally was just cheering him on like “Yay Hanzo!!! Good job!!!” 💞 I was so happy for him!! Oh…and when Knuckle was on screen, especially when he would throw off his jacket… 💘💘💘💘💘 Every. Single. Time. My poor, weak heart. At all that fanservice. And!!! When Shoot would fight!!! I would just be mush like! 💓 I just loved seeing Shoot any moment I got, and I still do.

When it really disappointed you: I’m not going to say it because I don’t want to spoil Meve by accident, but it is a huge disapointment for me that still leaves me upset.

Saddest moment: Well… 💔 I won’t say it.

Most well done character death: Uvagin, I guess? I mean, I don’t want to say that, but Kurapika at the time…oh it was rough. 💔 The scene was well done.

Favourite guest star: Hm. Guest stars? I would say Togashi, but I’m clearly thinking about how we’ll see ONE appear in One Punch Man every now and then. Not sure if Madhouse did the same with Togashi dog or anything. – Oh shoot read that question wrong as soon as I wrote all of this, LOL! Oh, now I know who to say!! Junichi Kanemaru! 💓💓💓 He only voiced Buharu during the first season, but ahhh I absolutely adore him! Just hearing his voice again brought back great childhood memories since I know he’s Sonic. 💓 Takaya Kuroda also! He was great as Razor, but you can never not hear him as Kiryu if you know the Yakuza/Ryu Ga Gotoku series. Listening to him as another character in a completely different thing was so funny. It was nice little cameo for my ears for both of them. ❤

Favourite cast member: Yuuji Ueda! 💓💓💓💓💓💓 Of COURSE. Favorite Japanese voice actor. (Can I just say how lovely Shoot’s voice is? It’s breathtaking. 💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞) Along with Wataru Takagi, who is literally one of the best Japanese voice actors ever. He is an absolute gem. 💓 And I love Megumi Han. She was always so into her character and voicing Gon, she was just so passionate for the series. She’s the best.

Character you wish was still alive: Kite. 💔 And Kastro too, he seemed like a nice guy.

One thing you hope really happens: Please just let Gon and Killua rest. Give all the characters a rest. Where’s the filler episodes where they’re all getting together and having a good time and nothing can go wrong? Where’s my dream beach vacation episode?

Most shocking twist: Kite’s death… 💔💔💔 It really makes me upset please stop I want to forget

When did you start watching/reading?: I started watching the anime around March! I’m not sure when I bought the first volume of it though. Maybe in the same month? But yeah, March 3rd is the official date! (Which I was actually trying to figure out when I was deciding a date. I watched the first episode with my love maybe a month or so before I did on my own? But March 3rd was when I started watching it from the beginning. I thought about making it March 5th because…that’s when I first watched Shoot and Knuckle be introduced. You know.)

Best animal/creature: I’m biased to Knuckle’s puppy. 😌 For creature, I like Ikalgo and Meleoron a lot. It took me a bit to warm up to them, but they’re my favorite out of the Chimera Ants.

Favourite location: Whale Island! It is such a beautiful place! If it were real, I would definitely want to visit it.

Trope you wish they would stop using: Nothing that I can think of.

One thing this show/book/film does better than others: A big thing is that…it shows no matter what you go through, no matter what happens, you can definitely try again. And “you can smile again~” 🎵 All of these things slowly go more and more downhill when you follow along the adventure, but after the events of the scariest arc of the series, things do try to get better despite everything that happened during the darkest of times.

Funniest moments: I really can’t think of any super specific ones, but I know there were a lot of little moments Gon and Killua shared that cracked me up so much. Oh, when Gon hit Hanzo during their fight, and Leorio called him a liar for saying he let Gon hit him on purpose!! Ahhh the way Leorio’s voice actor did that line was PERFECT. “LIAR!!!!” I was dying! I also giggled bad at ones Shoot and Knuckle shared, ahh they’re so funny together.

Couple you would like to see: Shoot and I love the thought of Aunt Mito with Kite, for some reason? I think it’s because someone wrote a fic of them meeting, but…it’s a nice thought.

Actor/Actress you want to join the cast: Could you imagine if someone like Hiroki Yatsumoto voiced someone? Or Masaya Onosaka? Ahhhh or even Takahiro Sakurai! Just get Makoto Furukawa to guest star a character along with some other One Punch Man voice actors! It would be a fun time I’m sure.

Favourite outfit: I would say Knuckle. How does he stay looking so good??? His clothes never get dirty. But I do love how Pakunoda dresses. She just looks so lovely, ugghgh

Favourite item: The Hunter cards! ❤ They just look so iconic. Definitely Hotel Raffelasia. Gon’s fishing rod. And Crazy Slots!! Technically not an item himself, but Kite’s scythe is definitely the coolest weapon.

Do you own anything related to this show/book/film?: I do now. ❤

What house/team/group/friendship group/family/race/etc would you be in?: I would love to be in the little family Gon, Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio have together. I do have to say I would want to be apart of the Extermination Team, too! What great groups of friends.

Most boring plotline: I honestly did get bored watching through the Phantom Troupe and Greed Island Arcs when I first watched Hunter x Hunter, but I really need to rewatch them. When I think back on them, I feel like I didn’t appreciate them enough. I might enjoy them more after I watch it from the beginning again.

Most laughably bad moment: Whenever Hisoka shows up and he’s just like that

Best flashback/flashfoward if any: The one during Shoot’s inner monologue, and the one of Gon meeting Kite for the first time. Definitely. Even though Gon meeting Kite was the opening for Hunter x Hunter in the manga. There’s also the one Knuckle has where my most favorite picture comes from. ❤

Most layered character: I jokingly say Shoot because my goodness that man wears layers of bandages, but he really is a layered character. There’s actually a whole bunch of layered characters throughout the series.

Most one dimensional character: I’m honestly not sure.

Scariest moment (and Grossest moment, I’m mixing both questions for my answer): When the Chimera Ants would kill people.

Best looking male: Knuckle. I love my Shoot, but…Japanese pompadoured delinquents make me swoon. They are seriously my biggest weakness. Especially him. 💘💘💘 My poor, weak heart. I can’t even look at him without melting.

Best looking female: Pakunoda and Palm. Both women are beautiful in their own way. And Melody is of course very warm and sweet, I adore how she looks. ❤

Who you’re crushing on (if any): …Shoot… ❤💍

Favourite cast moment: When Megumi Han got really emotional speaking at one of the panels for The Last Mission in front of fans. It was so genuine and sweet.

Favourite transportation: I always loved the shuttle train! When Gon and Killua used to get to the tournament, and when Morel and the others traveled together. ❤ It makes me wish I could go on long and cozy train rides to different places like that in real life.

Most beautiful scene (scenery/shot wise): When Gon was hiding out to watch Hisoka in the bushes, and the sun shown through the trees. Anytime a scene would be in a forest or in walkways of trees, really! The way the sunlight shines through the trees and leaves in patches over the vast green surrounding is just so pretty. I just love the colors, contrast, everything. Oh! And when Knuckle was punching Youpi!!! Like ahhhhhh Madhouse!!! Every once in a while in Hunter x Hunter that fluid Madhouse animation would just hit you!

Unanswered question/continuity issue/plot error that bugs you: I wish we could have seen what Kite’s other rolls (weapons) were. 💔 Along with Hanzo’s, Knuckle’s, and Shoot’s backstories! We know just a bit about Knuckle’s past, but nothing about Hanzo nor Shoot really. I would want to know why they all became hunters!

Best promo: Hm…I haven’t seen promos or anything at all for the series. This wouldn’t fit the answer I don’t think, but I loved the little “To Be Continued” ending scenes with Gon and Killua. They were so cute! I actually missed them during the Chimera Ant Arc.

At what point did you fall in love with this show/book: Honestly, I’m not sure. I just ended up really liking it just by watching it from the beginning. Watching the first episode over at my love’s house piqued my interest in the series, but then a few weeks or so later I started watching it all the way through, and the rest was history. Everything blurs together for me because I literally blew through episodes watching them, but I had fun watching them all. And…even though the Chimera Ant Arc leaves me heartbroken and sickened, characters like Knuckle and Shoot came out of nowhere, and I was so excited to see them in such an awful part of the story. They were a breath of fresh air. And, of course…I got to meet Shoot. A character I will cherish and keep in my heart for the rest of my life. I already talk about him to death, but he came into my life at the perfect time. He gives me strength. I truly am happy I found Hunter x Hunter and just got into it.
