Leaks and spoilers for that have now been confirmed to be true following the new trailer for House of the Dragon Season 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Starting off I'd just like to say that I not the source of these HOTD leaks. Nor am I involved with the HOTD cast or crew. However I do know someone who is involved. And they have told me things that will happen in Season 2. But I cannot say too much as I don't want to get them into trouble. Now that the new trailer is out this seems to prove that they were right. They have confirmed what the shots mean below.
SPOILERS FOR HOTD SEASON 2 BELOW.
Blood and Cheese happens in Episode 1. This is planned by Daemon but is done without Rhaenyra's knowledge. When Rhaenyra finds out she is crushed and angry with Daemon. Screenshot of when this happens. Rhaenyra banishes Daemon to Harrenhal and tells him not to return till he has proven his loyalty to her.
Tumblr media
The funeral for Lucerys will take place in Episode 1. This will be attended by Rhaenyra, Jace, Joffrey, Rhaenys, Corlys, Baela, Rhaena and some soldiers and ladies. Daemon won't be there as Rhaenyra has forbidden him to attend.
Tumblr media
Sunfrye the dragon finally appears and he is one of the most beautiful dragons you will see. Aegon takes him out halfway through Season 2. He is much bigger than most of the dragons.
Tumblr media
We see a shot of Daemon smiling after Rhaenyra says she wants to win the war. However this is a trick as we see that he is not sitting at the table when she gives the speech. This is actually Daemon smiling at Mysaria in King's Landing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Daemon takes Mysaria as his lover. Although this is only part of Mysaria's role in Season 2. She will play a much bigger part in Season 2 than she did last season. She does not appear in the trailer however she has been given her own promotional image, confirming her big role in Season 2.
Tumblr media
Aemond and Daemon will meet and fight briefly halfway through Season 2. It will not be the big fight that kills them both in the books. However it will still be important. Aemond will abandon the fight to help his brother but not before giving Daemon a terrible scar on his front.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jace and Rhaenyra find the dragon seeds and they hold a feast for them after they are knighted by Rhaenyra. Baela also attends this feast she is to marry Jace. Here Rhaenyra gives a speech about wanting to win the war. This happens near the end of the season.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rhaenyra and Rhaenys meet up to take on Aegon and Aemond with their dragons. This happens before the big fight. Baela will show up later.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Things not shown in the trailer but rumoured to happen:
Daemon does not say the "son for a son" line. This is said by Rhaenyra instead. It is instead heavily implied that Daemon does not care for any of his adopted children.
Dyana (the maid) is befriended by Helena. She protects Helena and saves Helena's other children when Blood and Cheese happens.
Daemon beheads Jaehaerys himself. This is shown in the first trailer when he is shown beheading someone. He gets a messenger to deliver the head to Aegon II.
Baela and Rhaena disown Daemon after finding out about Blood and Cheese.
Aemond ascends the Iron Throne after Aegon is injured badly. He sits on the throne. This happens at the end of the season.
I feel it has to be said also that I am aware that a certain big daemyra shipper has been going around saying they know things about Season 2 however they are telling porkies. You will probably know who I speak of. Anyway just speaking my truth!

I had the right to a new troll today! There's no denying that some TGs are delusional. Apparently, TB started the war and Daemon was killed by Aemond (Repeat several times. Repeating a lie will not make it true for information). 😂 Oh and then obviously, the same bullshit about Daemon loving minors, while we're in a universe inspired by feudal times, and a nice comment on how much this charming person can't wait to see Rhaenyra get burned alive, and that she is responsible for Lucerys' death (instead of you know... Aemond ? His killer ? But I guess TG can't do any harm to these people's heads). While a messenger in principle is supposed to be protected and according to the law has no right to be touched, hurt or kill. And then obviously, the behavior of the Greens children between them is completely normal and typical of classic brothers and sisters...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Essentially, the last message I sent on any post or person to comment on before blocking her :
Tumblr media
Obviously that was a troll, just look at the way this person writes bullshit and nonsense, as well as his completely empty tumblr !
Tumblr media
And then the TG will go and shout that they are being harassed by the delusional members of the TB. In the meantime, it's us, mostly TB, who receive ghost account comments and insulting anonymous messages over and over again, even in blogs clearly labeled ANTI TG. Newly, these people have to buy a life. Well, at least they fit well with the team they support if we redo exclusively in HOTD and not Fire and Blood. A bunch of hypocrites who look for shit and then complain about being the poor victims who have done nothing wrong... 😂
Oh, and another post dedicated to this troll is present on @nrilliree tumblr here :

Passing Notes (In Secrecy)
Chapter 2: I think he likes you
In 7th grade, Steve Harrington likes a girl for the first time. Outwardly, he likes girls when it’s convenient. When it gets his friends off his back, when it makes him looks cool.
This new girl at Hawkins Middle, though? The one with the curly brown hair and dimples and flannels that are too big for her? Steve doesn’t like her to be cool or whatever; she’s just for Steve.
But then the new girl Steve likes isn’t actually a new girl at all.
*
When the bus is out of sight, Eddie walks fast. The gravel crunches under his high tops and his messenger bag thumps against his hip uncomfortably but he only walks faster; starts a slow jog past rows of trailers down to where his uncle (and he, now) lives, towards the end. The bag, heavy with textbooks, is banging against his hip hard enough that it might bruise but he doesn’t care.
He counts the rows as he goes, just like he did all summer and since school started. He knows where the turn is, now, knows he won’t get it wrong but the counting is a habit and Eddie feels calmer for it.
One, two, three with the broken flower pot on the corner, four- turn.
They’d let Eddie finish out seventh grade in his old town- placed him with a foster family for the last two months. He’d spent his nights in some rich family’s house in a plain bedroom made for what was probably a never-ending parade of kids just like him: kids whose parents were in jail or dead or somewhere on the streets with a bottle of beer in their hands instead of with their kid.
He spent a miserable two months, walking around the school halls where everyone stared and whispered and sometimes just asked him outright- why’s your dad in jail, did he kill someone?- only to come back to the fancy big house where he was being kept, with an old couple who probably thought he was poor and gross and weird, and locked himself in that beige room with the tan bed sheets and the white walls with generic posters that said shit like be thankful for every day and hang in there.
The day the social worker had dropped Eddie off at his uncle’s trailer was the first day he felt like he could breath in two months.
The trailer is the same today as it was at the start of the summer when he met his Uncle Wayne; a weathered old couch outside, lawn trimmed neatly every other week, and the screen door that creaks too much.
Steve’s note burns in his hand and when he’s finally outside the front door, breathing heavy, he has the sudden image of Uncle Wayne seeing the note and- even if he would never demand to read it- somehow just seeing it feels like Wayne’ll know exactly what it says.
He shoves it in his pocket and throws open the creaky metal screen door. It slams into the outside wall as he rushes inside and Wayne gives a half-hearted “hey, now, easy!” from the lay-z-boy recliner in the corner.
“Sorry, Wayne! Hi, Wayne- bye, Wayne!”
And then he’s alone, in his room, with a hole burning in his pocket.
Eddie tosses his bag down, the pins clinking against each other, and lets himself just fall on the bed, belly-up.
It shouldn’t feel so weird. It was just a mistake. Maybe even a funny one- a dude giving another dude a love note on accident?
It was hilarious. Right?
He takes the note, so carefully folded up, from his pocket. He smooths it out, holding it under his palms, and presses it flat against his stomach like it's going to try to escape.
Eddie stares at the ceiling, where there’s a hairline crack just above his bed. He traces the shape of it with his eyes and feels the crumpled paper under his fingertips- but doesn’t look. Looking feels damning, but he won’t think about why.
Because to be the new kid who’s poor and a little weird and bad at sports who talks too much and draws cool demons in his textbook that people don’t get- that’s one thing.
His stomach twisting at the thought of a boy giving him a love note on the bus.. that’s another thing. A thing you don’t come back from.
He traces the crack again, counts the number of times he follows the line down and back up again. One, two, three…
He thinks about Steve. He seemed nice. Not just nice like ‘oh, he’s nice.’ But nice like his smile was real. Nice like kids usually aren’t to him- he gets fake smiles and nervous smiles and mean, teasing smiles, but he’s only seen a handful of nice smiles at Hawkins.
He thinks they could be friends.
A picture pops into his head, of him and Steve hanging out at school. Just walking down the hallway, chatting. Smiling. Shouldering past crowds of other kids.
But then the other kids turn, looking at them. They stare at Steve and Eddie and make silent eye contact that turns into whispers, like they know something they shouldn’t just by looking. Like they have x-ray vision and can see right into Eddie’s core.
Something twists in his stomach and he just can’t get that picture out of his head: that as soon as someone sees him and Steve, they’ll see something, know something that Eddie doesn’t. Something scary.
*
He’s nervous on the bus in the morning. Walking past the kids chatting, listening to music, doing last minute homework. Eddie takes his usual seat in the very back, lets out a slow breath when no one even glances his way.
He sees Steve in the hall. Eddie’s on his way to the hall with most of the eighth grade classrooms and Steve the opposite way, towards the seventh grade ones.
Steve’s head is down, eyes trained on some assignment in his hand. And Eddie is just about to look away when Steve glances up, catching Eddie’s eye. He does a double take and smiles when he sees who it is, who Eddie is. It’s a nice smile.
Eddie gives a tiny wave, unclenches his fingers where they’re holding his messenger bag on his shoulder and wiggles them. A short butterfly wave. But it’s enough that Steve’s smile widens just a little, confirmation that he saw Eddie’s wave.
No one turns to point and laugh. No one yells out hey look at that girly freak, no one even notices; half a second and they’re past each other, going their separate ways.
But Steve’s smile stays with Eddie, fluttering around in his stomach.
Maybe everything would be okay.
*
Everything was not okay.
*
“Hey, Eddie,” Carol walks by him while he’s picking at his lunch. She stops like something just crossed her mind, leaning on the table with one hand. “I have something to tell you.”
Eddie looks up- Carol’s only spoken to him a handful of times in class and the hall and twice was to ask if he got his flannel shirt from Goodwill like it was funny. The other times weren’t any better. He wonders if it’s easier to run. “Uh, yeah?”
“See that guy over there?” She points to Tommy, a semi-familiar face. He’s definitely close enough to hear them, just at the next table over.
She’s waiting for him to reply, and he gives her a slow and suspicious “.. yes.”
“Well- he thinks you’re *really cute*,” her big eyes blink, her tone feigning innocence in that way- that way that says everything without saying *anything.* “He told me that he wants to ask you out.”
Immediately Tommy throws his head back in laughter, his mouth still half full of meatloaf- the guys on either side of him elbow him and give big roaring *ohhh-hos* and Eddie is frozen.
Carol leans closer, her smile twisted. Eddie doesn’t know what she wants him to say. He doesn’t know what he SHOULD say. He wants to run away, he wants to lash out and push her off the table, watch her fall.
He screws up his face and grumbles “shut up.” That’s all he can muster staring down these other kids with a mean look in their eyes. He wishes he could come up with anything else, something cool that will make Carol stunned and sorry and make her go away- but all he can say is “shut up.”
Carol’s eyebrows go up, the picture of innocence. “What? I’m just trying to help you out- he said he thought you were really hot-“
Tommy yells- half laughter half disgust- something about not being a homo but he’s drowned out by the jeers of the others at his table.
“- but maybe he’s not good enough for you,” Carol continues, like she’s wondering aloud to herself. “Do y’hear that Tommy? You’re not Munson’s type. Maybe he’s into guys like Steve-“
Eddie bristles, his face hot with embarrassment. More people a few tables away are looking, turning in their seats and smirking as Carol and the boys make a big show. They don’t even have to say it for everyone including Eddie to know exactly what they’re really laughing at.
Eddie. Eddie the queer, Eddie the gross kid, Eddie the joke. It’s a joke that anyone would want to ask him out. Of course he must be into guys because he’s wrong, something screams wrong about him to anyone with eyes and not only is it gross but it’s Eddie, so it’s fucking hilarious and gross and a joke.
He doesn’t see Steve but he knows this has to be his fault. He started it, he’s the one who gave Eddie that note. That probably was a joke. Try to catch the little girly kid to say he likes guys, because obviously he’s weird and poor and must be queer with that hair- and Steve told everyone and now-
He’s not going to cry in front of these fucking assholes.
“Go away,” Eddie slams his hands and pushes himself away from the table, standing up. The boys across the way ooooh even more.
“Someone’s mad,” one of them smirks.
“She was just trying to be nice, Munson-“
He leaves his tray, shouldering his backpack and booking it out of the lunchroom. He stomps his way down hall after hall, ends up in the bathroom in the old part of the building, the one he knows no one goes in and some of the eighth graders smoke in after school. He slams the last stall door behind him and drops his bag, kicking it into the corner, hopping onto the toilet.
He doesn’t want to cry. He knows crying means they win, they got to him, but his throat feels tight and his lips quiver just a little and before he knows it his head is in between his legs and his vision is blurry with warm tears.
They drop onto his shoes- the new converse high tops his uncle bought him, a present for starting at a new school in a new town and a new home and a new guardian. And now he’s curled up in the bathroom getting his stupid tears all over them.
He skips Math and English, waiting for the red blotches to clear off his cheeks and picking at peeling paint on the wall.
*
When Eddie gets home, his uncle’s on the phone with the office. He can hear his quiet ‘mm-hmm’s, and ‘no, I wasn’t aware- well, the kid’s been goin’ through- I’m sure-‘ as Eddie throws his bag on the floor and beelines for the bathroom. He slams the door behind him and twists the lock for good measure- the lock is only the kind that stops the handle from turning, and the door is old so it doesn’t even really do that. But still, Eddie needs to be alone; would barricade himself in the bathroom if he could.
He rummages under the sink, tossing spare toilet paper and cleaner to the ground until he pulls his uncle’s beard clipper out, clutched in his fist like a weapon.
“Your hair’s real pretty,” Steve had smiled at him on the bus just the day before. Eddie thought that smile had been real; that he was nice.
Eddie was fucking stupid.
He flicks the switch and feels the clippers buzz to life in his hand. His reflection stares back at him, brows low, mouth set- angry angry angry, the anger buzzes in him like the clippers in his hand- he tightens his lips into a thin line, keeping the tears at bay.
The first pass is right down the middle of his head. It feels too easy, like it should get tangled in his hair but it doesn’t. It cuts through it easily, almost too easily. He doesn’t know why, but he expected it to hurt. He almost wishes it did.
The hair starts falling all over his shoulders and the floor, and Eddie doesn’t break eye contact with himself the entire time. You should have known, he tells himself silently. This is your fault. And he passes the clippers again, and again, and now his hair is uneven and messy and several different lengths- but it’s not long anymore. It’s not girly hair. And if he’s lucky, maybe no one will recognize him tomorrow. Maybe they’ll all be stunned into silence. Maybe he can just blend into the background and never be seen again- never be the center of the cafeteria’s attention again.
He wants to disappear, wants to slip down the drain just like his hair.
*
He stays in the bathroom until Wayne bangs on the door like he’s going to break it down. Eddie unlocks it and expects his uncle to yell, to make Eddie clean it up or something.
Wayne sighs when he sees Eddie’s head, the mess of uneven choppy hair. He gestures for Eddie to step out and surveys the damage- hair in the sink, on the counter, the floor, the toilet.
“Get the broom and dust pan, willya?”
He gets it without saying anything and stands there, holding open an empty Walmart bag as Wayne sweeps up the clippings and throws them away.
They’re halfway through when Wayne asks.
“Any particular reason for this? I could have taken you to a barber, ya know.”
He shrugs, his jaw tight. “Dunno. Don’t like my hair. It’s girly.”
Wayne nods.
When they finish, he calls a barber and makes an appointment for tomorrow, Friday at 11AM.
“I have school then,” he mentions when Wayne hangs up.
Wayne only shrugs. “Can’t have you goin’ to school like that. Plus one day of hooky never hurt nobody.”
He could cry. He won’t have to go to school tomorrow, or the day after, or the day after. Three whole days.
He wraps his arms around Wayne’s middle and squeezes tight, a thank you and a sorry.
*
Eddie Munson walks into Hawkins Middle Monday morning with a fresh buzz cut and a permanent scowl. He slaps away any curious hands that reach out to feel his peach-fuzz scalp and takes no shit. He takes so little shit, in fact, that one passing period he gets himself and Tommy Hagan in trouble with the principal. Eddie gets the harsher punishment, of course, even though it was Tommy who kept trying to pinch the skin at the nape of Eddie’s neck and calling him names; when the principal asks what names Tommy called him, Eddie stays silent. Fuck Tommy and fuck the principal who was never on his side, anyway.
He gets detention- his first detention at Hawkins- and sits next to a girl with long black hair and behind a boy with a cropped afro.
They ask Eddie his name- they’ve seen him around, of course- and the girl shows Eddie her sketch book that she was doodling in during 8th grade geometry class, which is what landed her there. Once is a reprimand, but twenty-six times is grounds for detention, she says. Eddie thinks her doodles are cool and says the teachers just hate fun. He wishes he was in geometry instead of algebra.
The boy explains he skipped 7th grade gym too many times because he didn’t like being in the changing room and the PE teacher gave him detention. Eddie knows the feeling.
They smile. Their smiles are nice.
It takes two detentions before Eddie asks if they know what Dungeons and Dragons is- Amy, the girl, does but she’s never played. Jeff doesn’t know it at all, but he likes the sound of dragons and gnomes. They both agree to come over to Eddie’s trailer and read through a dungeon master book he checked out from the library that week.
Steve stays at the table with Carol and Tommy- but Eddie takes to having lunch on the opposite end with Amy, Jeff, and a few other kids. Sometimes he catches Steve looking- during passing period or at lunch. Eddie never has a smile for him.
They don’t talk again. And that’s just fine.

Howl Hurt
🎃 Sweet Pea/Reader; Werewolf AU
The Serpents were a pack. Everyone knew that. What most people didn’t know is there were smaller sub-packs within that. Jughead was still trying to fight Toni to be the Alpha, but everytime he went to challenge her; he ended up on the ground; still a beta.
While Jughead hated being a Beta you were more than happy to be one. You were dating Sweet Pea who was an Alpha; one of the sub-packs within the Serpents; it wasn’t as big as the sub-pack Toni had; since she was in charge of the older Serpents who weren’t in FP’s main pack.
There had been reports of a hunter from Greendale coming too close into the Serpent’s territory. Normally there were issues with the Northsiders trying to scare or attack pack members but it never went as far as hunting; they knew when to leave the werewolves alone. That or they didn’t know how valuable it would be to certain people to kill a werewolf.
Greendale knew; they had so much supernatural it was overflowing into Riverdale; or at least that was the rumor of how werewolves first came to Riverdale.
The hunter was out; Toni and Jughead had been fighting again’ you’d been dedicated as messenger between them. They just had to pick the opposite ends of the Southside. Jughead was practically on the Northside at this point which was a whole other issue that Toni never brought up; she knew it would solidify his place as beta of the pack; or worse; his dad kicking him out.
It was easier to stay in your wolf form; it made travel faster; it made it safer Of course Jughead invited you in, Fangs was there so it was technically a meeting so you’re still human when you leave.
You’re still human when the hunter attacks. You shift fast; but not fast enough before you can feel the burning of a silver knife. It catches your shoulder and you realize this isn’t a hunter; well not a full fledged one. An apprentice making his first kill to become an official hunter; he was going to kill you, you realize.
You dodge the next knife strike; but can hear the snap when a trap closes over your ankle; it’s not broken; just sprained. But the trap is doing its job; keeping you stuck in the place. You’re confused; normally the hunters just kill werewolves. He’s unloading something. A cage, your stomach sinks; you wonder if he’s been told to bring you in alive; to kill you on Greendale's land so they can see; so he has proof he did it himself.
The cage snaps into place; and so do Sweet Pea’s teeth around the hunters leg. He screams; and Sweet Pea shoves him to the ground, growling and dragging his claws down the hunters front. You know Sweet Pea will make this hurt. You do your best to look away when the hunter starts screaming.
You can feel the cage lifting and you grimace as you can feel Sweet Pea’s hands prying into the trap. It doesn’t budge.
“We’ll have to go to the rest of the pack or Curdle for that to be removed; can you walk at all?” You’re not sure why he asks; but you find you can put weight on your ankle; just that the trap is too heavy for you to lift it.
“It’s fine I can carry you no problem.” He laughs when you squeak as he picks you up; you clearly weigh nothing to him even with the trap.
Sweet Pea doesn’t say much while carrying you, he doesn't say much when he brings you to Dr. Curdle to remove the trap from your ankle.
It’s only when it’s off and you’re back in the trailer does he wrap his arms around you, and mostly through sobs just repeats.
“I love you.” Over and over until you’re pretty sure he’s not even saying the words anymore and you’re also not sure if you’re dreaming he’s saying it or he actually is because you wake up in the middle of the night his arms wrapped around you.

Best Underrated Anime Group K Round 1: #K3 vs #K6
#K3: Space boy crashes onto Earth, learns about living
In the distant future, a majority of humans have left the Earth, and the Galactic Alliance of Humanity is founded to ensure the prosperity of mankind. However, a significant threat arises in the form of creatures called Hideauze, resulting in an interstellar war to prevent humanity’s extinction. Armed with Chamber, an autonomous robot, 16-year-old lieutenant Ledo joins the battle against them, but he loses control during battle and is cast out to the far reaches of space, crash-landing on a waterlogged Earth.
On the blue planet, Gargantia—a large fleet of scavenger ships—comes across Chamber and retrieves it from the ocean, thinking they have salvaged something of value. Mistaking their actions for hostility, Ledo sneaks aboard and takes a young messenger girl named Amy hostage, only to realize that the residents of Gargantia are not as dangerous as he had believed. Faced with uncertainty, and unable to communicate with his comrades in space, Ledo attempts to get his bearings and acclimate to a new lifestyle. But his peaceful days are about to be short-lived, as there is more to this ocean-covered planet than meets the eye.

#K6: Slice of life in the middle of nowhere
Hotaru Ichijou's lifestyle completely changes when she leaves Tokyo and moves with her family to the isolated Asahigaoka village. Her new school has only five students including herself, all sharing a single classroom regardless of grade level. There are no convenience stores in the area, and it can take up to two hours for a bus to arrive.
Nevertheless, Hotaru finds herself captivated by the countryside's charm thanks to her four unique schoolmates with whom she quickly forms a genuine bond. The most colorful of them is Renge Miyauchi, a first-grader who is often perceptive despite her age. However, no less intriguing are the three Koshigaya siblings: the quiet oldest brother Suguru, the petite older sister Komari, and the prankish youngest sister Natsumi.
Having someone from the city join their cheerful little group enlivens the ordinary days in Asahigaoka. Not only does Hotaru bring firsthand knowledge from the alluring outside world, but her fresh outlook on life welcomes a blossom of change to their usual routine.

#K3: Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet (Suisei no Galgantia)
youtube
Propaganda:
I believe that this show should be considered for the running because of what it accomplishes with the character development in the standard 13 episodes. It lays out the uncertainties of life and situations while also having that exist in the backdrop of a massive conflict that would make this seem miniscule. The main character is also exposed to new ideas and concepts that are alien to him and are initially inconceivable, such as empathy and compassion for others. In other words, it is him becoming ‘human’ again. There are also certain aspects of creativity such as how the worldbuilding functions on a world that is all water and how the characters interact with the world around them via various means. For the time it was released, it was a very unique anime with interesting takes that was overshadowed by some of the bigger ones at the time (Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill, Devil Part-Timer).
Trigger Warnings:
At one point, the main male lead says something akin to ‘why isn’t he dead’ concerning a chronically ill child (eugenics). The main male lead is 16 at the time of the show, and the characters he interacts with the most are around the same age. Various things, which can be considered as child abuse, happen to them. The show also has sequences with flashing lights.
Tumblr media
#K6: Non Non Biyori
youtube
Propaganda:
Non Non Biyori is a show that, at first glance, seems to be little more than a standard Iyashikei affair with above average background art and below average character writing. What the show lacks in surface-level complexity, however, it makes up for with its delivery of capital T Themes.
The first season serves as a foundation, where it creates a strong sense of place through gorgeously rendered background art. We’re frequently given long, wide-angle shots of the background as characters walk through going about their business. The characters, though simply written, are given strong interactions with each other in order to grant a better understanding of the sense of community within the town. This serves to establish the town itself as the single most important element of the show, allowing the themes to blossom come season two, where we can better see the underlying melancholy behind the show’s lighthearted tone.
Non Non Biyori is ultimately a show about good times that can never last. The town they live in and the lifestyle it represents is dying, and the kids will grow up someday and will probably leave in search of better opportunities, with the possibility that they will never return to their hometown. Even in the short term, the age gap between the characters means that high school and eventually college will separate them, and though they’ll likely remain friends things will have irreversibly changed. Though the threat of change looms over the narrative, importantly, it’s not something that’s ever lingered on for too long, and when it is, it’s delivered with a “less is more” mentality, where we’re given only enough information to infer how the characters are feeling ourselves without it needing to be explicitly stated. This approach delivers Non Non Biyori’s central message: that even though change is inevitable and all good things come to an end, the single best thing a person can do is enjoy the good while it lasts.
Trigger Warnings: None.

This place is beautiful. I wasn't sure beauty like this could still exist on Mesa Island. I hope I get to meet the Butterfly Matriarch. She sounds pretty cool.
Tumblr media
To be fair, she wasn't wrong. Shopkeeper said the contrast between time periods was pretty cool here. Credit where it's due, it super is.
Tumblr media
OH MY GODDESS YOU'RE SO BEAUTIFUL
The little spots of turquoise on your give just the lightest splash of color contrast to the browns and yellows and EEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Tumblr media
You are. I am at maximum jealousy right now. Envy levels through the goddamn roof.
I am about 80% sure you're actually a moth, not a butterfly. But I don't fucking care, because you are killing it either way.
Tumblr media
With gusto. I--
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh fuck me
Thanks, uh... Navi?
So the giant bat monster exists in the past but is temporally corrupting her here in the present, even though that one Messenger in the interim already slew it at some point in the interim. I have so many questions about how this works.
Time travel is so fucking trippy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh, this is going to be way easier than I thought it would. I figured Firefly was going to zoom around and I'd have to attack only when the temporal bubble is illuminating your face.
But if we're just going to throw down trailer park-style, that's super easy. @ me, bruh; Let's fucking go.
Tumblr media
Ha! Bat monster doesn't have shit. These screeches are trivially easy to dodge. What else have you--
Tumblr media
Oh. Well. Uh. Okay. I'm sorry I insulted your--
Tumblr media
RED IS DOWN AND UP IS LEFT
It's fine. It's fine. Just. Drugged. I can deal with this. Just have to stay perfectly still and wait for the nausea to pass.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
TEAM EFFORT LET'S GOOOOOO
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nobody is ever prepared for the twirly-doos. Twirly-doo is the ultimate technique of the Messenger lineage. I'm a fucking buzzsaw in flight.
Thank you, Shopkeeper, for this wingsuit. It's so-so in mobility but crazy powerful as a weapon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's a lot of value in beauty. It gets the short end of the stick because the good parts of beauty are so immediately evident that it makes the bad parts more conversation-worthy. Not a lot of morals out there like, "Beauty is a great thing and you should appreciate it!" because everyone already does by default.
But it is complicated. Beauty is like a work of art. It takes blood, sweat, and tears to manufacture an aesthetic precisely to the (often unreasonable) standards of society - and once it's done, it has to be cared for and maintained lest it begin to degrade over time.
And no one appreciates it. They think it just happens. Like it emerged fully formed into the universe one day. It's easy to fall for a pretty aesthetic painted over a rotten core because we're already so busy taking beauty for granted that nobody ever engages with what it means in the first place.
...
So, I guess what I'm saying is: Sucks about the bat thing. Sorry you had to live with that. But also, I see you. The clean waters and vibrant grasses and towering, living trees are a testament to the volume of work you've put in over these last centuries, and I see you.
Tumblr media
Oh, a time bubble firefly of my very own? Thanks! I'm sure she'll come in handy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hold up, your Messenger was MONKSHROOM!? HOLY FUCK. I know exactly what curse I want to lift.
Tumblr media
What's up, best buddy? I brought you a friend! I think she can help with your, uh, condition.
Tumblr media
Oh yeah, Navi is definitely going to sue someone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You don't remember?
Shit. Well. Um. Short version: You're not expected to deliver the Scroll anywhere anymore. Missed the boat on that one. But I might have some good news for you. How do you feel about the color blue?
Tumblr media
Inexplicably, negative some-odd hundred years. Not sure how or why you time traveled again after failing and getting cursed but it's temporal metaphysics. Shit's fucked on a good day.
Tumblr media
Yeah, not gonna sugarcoat that one. You fucked this place up so bad that they changed the name. Which, admittedly, isn't hard to do when there's only one bastion of civilization left in the world and it keeps being periodically destroyed. Endlessly repeating incursions of catastrophic destruction make preservation of world knowledge difficult.
It's like having a library that self-immolates every 50 years. At some point, you get used to starting over from scratch.
Tumblr media
Wear earplugs.
Tumblr media
I'm sure. I'm just happy that she's finally rid of this curse. I've invited her to Game Night twice. Maybe this time, she'll actually come.

I have to disagree with that other anon, because I don’t see why Seph would even have to confront Rosen? Rosen just sends smoke signals to his people. He’s just the messenger, and he may not like Sephiroth at all for obvious reasons, but there isn’t any reason for them to fight imo.
In the trailer, Seph is even expressing his concern to Rosen about whoever “those people” are and Rosen is giving him the ultimatum. It doesn’t seem like they’re at each other’s throats. I think the conflict will have way more to do with the FS trio and them possibly going rogue.
My brain is starting to hurt lmao. Witness the brainrot of a madwoman in real time.
That's also a very good point! I just think there's been a lot of clues so far that suggest that Rosen is probably not long for this world. And having Seph involved at all is pretty sus. And Rosen IS Rhadoran, an enemy to Shinra. So he and Seph aren't on the same side. Shinra might be interested in Rosen's mumbo jumbo Eye of Rhadore nonsense. So that's definitely enough of a reason for things to go south.
What I wonder is if Rosen possibly does something stupid on behalf of his people and/or the FS trio that gets him killed or forces Sephiroth to act. Again, I'm not opposed to Sephiroth killing anyone. But the way they go about it in relation to his personality pre-nibelheim is very, very tricky. You can't have the "fall" of a character years in the future when there's a bunch of falls beforehand. Or at least, you CAN but it's very tricky to write without losing momentum in the character's arc.

A sneak peek of things to come...
I’ve been slowly working on a project for the RW fandom that I quite like the work of, so here’s a couple lines from pieces already written (not in order), think of it like a movie trailer but it’s all text so it’s funky lmao
Shifted Perspectives
And when he woke up, he was far from the Iterator he once was.  ... Halcyon memories are what it was, a gentle reassurance but yet betrayal. A promise that things had been good, once, but no longer was and would never be. ... “I don’t want an innocent creature dying.” ... He reached his three-fingered paws in front of him, staring at it with tears pricking his eyes. This type of creature could cry, that was evident. At least he had something cathartic to get out of this, he supposed. ... “He was… scared, I think. Of failing.” ... He’d blocked away Suns, hurt their little messenger for no reason but anger, and had dissipated their Overseer as a final rebellion. NSH’s messenger had been taken over with the same thing Pebbles had and he couldn’t help but feel like it was irony, that the one who revived Moon had the same condition as the one who killed her. And Moon… He hoped the rarefraction cell was of use to her. ... “You know, you remind me of him...” ... Journey… Hm, that thought was unprecedented. But it was logical, his can was collapsed. He hardly recognized where he was, and it was far from being a habitable location. Maybe… ... Innocent, he didn’t deserve that, he was far from innocent, he killed her.
But maybe he could lay it to rest, one day.

Regular Customer | Steve Harrington x Reader (ch.4)
Tumblr media
Series Masterlist.
Chapter Three – Chapter Five.
Pairings: Steve Harrington x fem!reader|plus-sized!reader|nerd!reader
Word count: 4514
Regular Customer | Chapter Four.
The Upside Down version of the Wheelers' house was actually terrifying, and, as it turned out, stuck in November of 1983 when Will Byers went missing, apparently. Y/N was close to Eddie the whole time, he was the one she rely on when she felt dizzy or the pain in her knees made her unstable. He didn't mention it to the others, knowing she didn't want to be in the spotlight, but he was concerned. While Steve's wounds had been more or less attended to and wrapped up, Y/N's were still fresh and in the open, the bite on her shoulder was soaking her black shirt and the fabric was getting stuck into the flesh.
For a very short moment, when Steve started to yell Dustin's name, they thought he was insane, but there was an actual connection with the other side. They did their very best to communicate through the light and made up a plan to go back from a possible gate in Eddie's trailer. The Upside Down had as much gasoline as water, none. Therefore, they decided to cover the distance on the Wheeler's bicycles; unfortunately, they only had four and they were five so Y/N had to go with Eddie. He manifested his concern in whispers. Her arm and shoulder might be too weak to hold onto him, and her knees might not be able to sustain her body. There was no other option, though.
The road towards the trailer park was dangerously filled with mines that were those vines connected to Vecna. The time seemed to stop for them, the distance seemed to be way too long; but in the end, they made it to the trailer park and went through the gate on the ceiling.
"Of fucking course it was in the ceiling," she muttered under her breath.
"Need help going up?" Eddie asked into her ear.
"That would be humiliating. The fat girl can't climb the rope. I had enough of that in gym class, thank you very much."
"You're hurt."
"I can do it."
Eddie and Y/N had a silent argument with their eyes, the tension building between them. Robin cleaned her throat, "You two good?"
"Peachy." They answered in unison with sarcastic smiles on their faces. If the others didn't know the truth, they would've thought they were twins.
"Okay. Um… I guess I'm the guinea pig."
After Robin went through the gate, Y/N started climbing, bitting hard on her lips to stop the painful moans that her body produced. Eddie and Steve waited for her to go to the other side with a concerned look on their faces; she hadn't been as quiet as she tried to, and Steve knew that if his abdomen was burning, the shoulder should be killing her with that kind of effort. Eddie was next to climb. Everything was ready for Nancy to do the same when she entered a trance.
They burst into chaos.
Yelling, screaming and desperation consumed everybody. Max had been able to get free by music, and they might be able to do the same with Nancy if they find her favorite song. Would any other song help? Eddie had a pretty big collection of rock and metal tapes, plus a couple of ABBA tapes that belonged to Y/N. Eddie’d been working on some metal-rock versions of ABBA songs for Y/N's birthday; she loved some of ABBA's work. They could give her some Queen. Who doesn't like Queen, right? Would it help if the song was singed instead of reproduced on the walkman? Who knows!! They were terrified and the possibilities piled up, preventing them from finding a solution.
Luckily for them, and especially for Nancy, Vecna was using her as a messenger; he didn't have any intention of killing her.
Y/N questioned herself why Vecna had gone to Nancy when Max was just a few feet away in the other dimension. Max was his next victim, wasn't she? Then why postpone his master plan? Why let his main victim go and attack a girl who was irrelevant to him just to send a message?
"What do we do now?" Eddie broke the silence once everyone was in the true Hawkins. "We cannot stay here, man. With the gate and the town looking for my head…"
"My mom's working tonight. We could go to my trailer, rest, and make a plan or something." Max's proposal was accepted on the spot.
Max's trailer was more organized than Eddie's, with fewer caps and mugs decorating the walls, but with more empty alcohol bottles. Dustin and Lucas explained what had happened when the others were in the lake, while Nancy was still too shocked to talk.
Y/N brought Nancy a glass of water that the girl took without looking. "Steve, you should go and clean your wounds before they get infected. Do you have a first aid kit, Max?"
"I'm fine," Steve answered at the same time Max was saying that she didn't have one.
"Don't be stupid, Harrington. I need to go find my car. I have a first aid kit there. I'll be back in less than an hour."
"You can't leave!" Robin claimed.
"We can't do anything right now. It's late, we're hurt and tired. I just–"
"The police might be looking for us out there, Y/N. They could see you and–" Dustin tried to convince her, but she cut him off with a tired smile.
"I have it all under control my dear friend. Do not worry, Dustin."
"You're hurt," Steve stated, standing in the way of the door. "Not just hurt. Badly hurt. Really badly hurt. Stay here, rest, and we'll go to the car tomorrow."
"I think the darkness of the night gives me fewer chances of being caught by the police, don't you think pretty boy? Just stay here, get some food ready, clean yourselves, and help Nancy out. I'll go get my car and drive right back here. I have some clothes that might fit you, a first aid kit with painkillers and antibiotics we both would definitely need, and a sword. We cannot go back there unarmed."
"Wait… what? You have a sword?" Steve's shocking gestures made his hair fall into his forehead and she wanted to put that lock of hair away from his forehead with her hand so very badly…
"It's a long story I'm sure Eddie would be very please in telling you. Now, if you excuse me."
"Don't go alone. I'll go with you."
Why? Why was Steve so insistent on her wellbeing, on having her on sight? Why? Was it the protective motherly feeling Dustin claimed Steve was famous for? Was it that he was scared Vecna would do somebody else what he did to Nancy?
Steve was, in fact, worried. Y/N skin had taken an off tone. Her eyes seemed tired, and she had dirt and dried blood on her face, hands, and feet. Her glassy eyes could barely focus and her whole body seemed to be screaming in pain, ready to collapse. His heart was aching just looking at her.
"You're not much better, Steve." Her voice was barely a whisper, too tired to keep arguing.
"I'll go with you," Robin offered. "Eddie can't go, because he's the one the police and the town are looking for, right? So, they won't be looking for two girls. And if someone sees us we could, uh… I don't know, we could say we were looking for Eddie and fell or something. You've talked to the police about how you believe Eddie was kidnapped. We could play along. I'm not a great liar. I'm a terrible liar, in fact. But, hey, I could say I'm just terrified and scared and afraid… Which I am, by the way. And someone has to make sure you don't show rabies symptoms. Steve's going to be looked after here, but if you are alone in the woods and rabies hit it's better if I'm there, right? Right?"
"Right," Y/N nodded, enjoying too much Robin ramble.
"Robin, we're looking for someone who could take care of Y/N if she gets worse, not someone who tripped with her own shadow."
"Oh, ha-ha, very funny, dingus. I'm reliable. I–"
"Let's go, Robin," Y/N cut her. She looked at Steve until he moved to the side, unblocking the door. "She needs to burn some energy. We'll be fine."
"I'm not a dog!"
"Of course, not, Robin." Steve and Y/N said at the same time with the same deadpanned tone. It was cute and made Y/N's heart flutter.
Steve ran a hand through his hair and walked them to the door, waiting there until they disappeared. Robin seemed to be talking, gesturing with her hands and moving her head. Y/N listened, walking as fast as Robin but with more effort in each step.
"Hey, Steve. Are you alright?" Dustin asked him.
"I don't know."
*
"That was pretty badass, you know? What you did." After her unstoppable ramble got her tired, Robin finally found a conversation she really wanted to have. Truth is, she'd been noticing Y/N's increasing limping as they walked, and she thought that maybe making her talk would help her not to think about her pain.
"What did I do?"
"Going after Steve, for starters. Well, I actually think all the Jason Carver's framing is amazing too. And the knife on Steve's throat. Girl, you got me there. That was, like, the most amazing thing I've seen in my life. Like a total ninja. And I got inside a Russian base and got drugged by the way. I know what I'm talking about. So… Yeah, I– I was scared. I don't think I would've jumped after Steve. Not that I don't love him enough or anything. I do love him. Platonically. With a capital p. I just– I don't know, I think if it had been only us I would have gone back to Dustin and made a plan. But you jumped. And Nancy jumped. And it was me and Eddie there and I couldn't just let all of you get hurt, so I jumped too. And it was, like, insane. Totally insane."
"I concur."
"No, like, wow insane. You were on top of Steve, covering him from the demobats with your own body. A huge demobat was biting your shoulder and you were quiet. Really. Not a sound. It was bitting you and tangling its tail on your arm to make you stop helping Steve but you didn't mind. You kept helping him. You only screamed when Eddie and I pulled the demobat out of you. That– That blew my mind."
"It's all a bit foggy for me, to be honest."
"You're a total badass."
"Thank you, Robin."
"And you have a sword! Do you know how to use it?"
"Yeah, I go to a fencing academy in Indianapolis. It's elitist and uncomfortable, but I don't go there for the people exactly."
"Oh, yeah, sure. I totally forgot you have money. Isn't that weird?"
"Maybe because I'm not like Steve."
"Steve's good."
"Now. He was an asshole in high school and you know it."
"Yeah. Steve 'the hair' Harrington. I was surprised to find out that he's not that bad. We used to work together at Scoops Ahoy in the mall–"
"I know."
"You do? You never came when he was working?"
"Precisely. Eddie used to drive me there encouraging me to go in there and talk to him, but it was impossible. The moment I thought about it my brain got quiet in panic mode, I was unable to speak. If it wasn't because you were working with him in Family Video as well I would've probably been unable to rent any VHS. I'm way too shy."
"But now you talk to him! And you're a badass and all."
"And not his type at all." Y/N glanced at Robin with a shy, sad smile. "I probably shouldn't have, but I overheard you two talking about me. It's ridiculous, really. I was leaving and I thought 'hey, I've been crushing on him for four years, and now I'm finally talking to him, I should bit the bullet and ask him out' you know? I thought, what could go wrong? I was expecting the negative anyway, but it hurt. It hurt knowing I wasn't as subtle as I tried and that he knew how I felt and that he didn't feel the same and– God, why am I crying now?" She stopped, turned away from Robin, and tried to contain her tears.
"I'm sorry."
"Not your fault, Robin." She turned to the other girl again and gifted her another tired smile. "It just is what it is. I can't force someone to love me back. That won't do."
Y/N resumed walking before Robin did.
"Wait. Holly shit. Oh my God. No way. Absolutely no way. Y/N, tell me you're not in love with Steve."
"Don't worry, it'll pass. Have you seen how he looks at Nancy? And the way Nancy is flirting with him? Yeah… They were very cute in high school."
"I don't know. Maybe it's the whole trauma and the situation. Nancy is worried about Jonathan. Maybe she feels safe with Steve or something, helps her not to think about her boyfriend and what could have happened to him. It might not mean anything!"
"I know, and that's worse. Steve loved her. Truly. She left with Jonathan and if he was here, she wouldn't be paying attention to Steve. Dustin told me all the story one day he was bored. Is she playing with him now? Is she emotionally cheating on Jonathan? What's going on? I don't know, and neither do they. The point is that until Jonathan shows up, Nancy and Steve are going to flirt, to wake up their past love, and, who knows, maybe they ended up together again for a few years, or maybe she leaves him alone once her boyfriend's back and Steve is alone again, heartbroken again. I don't like that option. Do you?"
"Not particularly, no. I know that Nancy was pretty big for him, but they broke up in the October of 1984, it's been ages. I do–"
"There's my car."
"I do believe you have a chance. Y/N, hey, wait." Robin stopped her from reaching for her car and looked her straight in the eyes. "Steve's looking for the love of his life. It wasn't Nancy. I don't know Nancy and Jonathan personally, but I believe they're like the perfect couple from the movies. And I truly believe that Steve deserves that kind of love in his life."
"I believe we all do, Robin."
"My point is that when I barely knew you from school and Family Video, I thought you were exactly what Steve needed. You're cute, your taste in movies is unbeatable, Dustin keeps talking about how cool you are, how fun you are, how smart you are… And, gosh, you looked at Steve with such doe eyes it was unbearable to watch. And now this! You are all those things and also a criminal mastermind who is framing a violent jock of massive murder to save your friend, and– and– and also a total badass that didn't even flinch when a creature from another dimension was bitting her shoulder because she was too busy saving someone, and that hasn't complained about her pain in the last hours even when she's probably ready to collapse. You're perfect!"
"Not his type, though."
"You are!! That's what I'm talking about. You totally are his type, he's just scared. The last time he dated someone who he truly cared about, who was really his type, she left him for Jonathan Byers."
"What do you expect me to do? Why are you telling me all of this?"
"Patience. Don't give up just yet. Please."
Y/N nodded, hating how her hopes were increasing with Robin's naïve plead. "Get in the car."
She expected that driving would be easier to walk in her state; she was mistaken. She endured her dizziness and the stubbornness of her eyelids that kept trying to fall, keeping her eyes closed for her to sleep.
In the trailer park, Nancy had cleaned herself, changing into Max's mother's clothes while Steve had cooked a big pot of mac and cheese. Robin helped Y/N carry a backpack from the car's back seat while Y/N took what seemed like a toolbox and the famous sword.
"Did anybody die while we were away?" She asked the room.
"My tongue had. This is tasteless," Erica complained about the food.
"Hey, you were the one who said that wanted mac and cheese."
"I thought it was something you couldn't mess up. I was mistaken."
"Erica, please, stop," Lucas begged his little sister.
"You, Steve, go wash. This is the first aid kit, and in the backpack, there're some clothes Eddie kept in my place. It should fit."
"Is that the sword?" He asked dumbfounded.
The sword's scabbard was made of dark-colored leather, with straps to be worn on the hips or attached to the back. Y/N smiled at her audience and draw her sword like an old knight enjoying the metal sound the blade did against the scabbard, clean and elegant. The blade reflected the light of the room. It was stunning.
"It's beautiful," Max gasped.
"Thank you. I'm sure it would look even better against Vecna's neck."
As she expected, everybody wanted to take a closer look at the sword, so she let them take it warning them that it was sharp. Steve cut a thin line on his thumb, as might be expected. He had barely touched the blade, barely a brush, but it was enough to cut.
Deciding that she could use the shower first, she grabbed some clothes from the bag and made her exit, only to be stopped by Eddie, who whispered against her ear, "I'm going to be honest with you sweetheart, the image of you with that sword is a turn on even for me."
"I don't want to know what happens in your pants, Eddie. It's fun to know your kinks, though."
He winked at her and let her go.
A couple of hours later, the kids were asleep on any surface available. Nancy had fallen asleep against her will, too tired to keep fighting the sleep, in a chair. Robin and Eddie were still awake discussing music in whispers while Steve and Y/N were under the kitchenette's bright light. Steve was wearing one of Eddie's soft sweatpants and was shirtless, enduring the cures Y/N was giving him. She had everything in her toolbox-like first aid kid. She was wearing latex gloves while treating his wounds and had covered each of the bites on his torso with efficiency.
"They tore the skin. If the cut was clean I could suture it. Sorry."
"Don't apologize, you're the one fixing me."
She hummed in agreement leaving his abdomen to focus on his neck. It was going to bruise for sure, but the cut wasn't too deep. Steve was looking at her face. Her hair was still wet from the shower, away from her face, giving him a clear view of the bruise on her cheek and the cut on her bottom lip, both gifts from Jason Carver. She had a scratch on her other cheek, probably from one of the demobats. She was wearing a metal-band t-shirt that belonged to Eddie and that fitted her, although she had wished it was bigger on her. From where he was, Steve could see the cloth that she had applied to her shoulder, always putting someone else's cures as a priority. She was beautiful. Steve had noticed this before, of course, but he never admitted that that beauty affected him. Now he was unable to keep lying to himself. She was too close to him; he could count any beauty marks on her skin. He could even count the eyelashes that framed her beautiful eyes.
"Thank you," he whispered. Her eyes got up from his neck to his eyes, and he felt the time stop. "For everything. You didn't have to do anything you did today, but you did it. You saved me. Thank you."
Her eyes moved like she was searching for something in his. "My pleasure. It's done now. You can cover."
Y/N gave him space feeling her face heating violently. She took the gloves off and prepared a few painkillers and antibiotics, and gave Steve after he had put another metal-band t-shirt on. It was a little loose on him. A pang of self-consciousness hit Y/N strong in the gut. She pulled the hem of her shirt down in a tick to try to cover her body.
"I'm going to the bathroom to attend to my wounds. Take that with some water and try to sleep. Max has set the alarms at six."
"I could help you. Uh… If you want. I could help you with, um, with that. The wounds. I might not be a doctor like you," he joked, "but I've been beating up more often than not. I know how to do it."
"It's fine, I can do it."
"I want to help you. Really. I'm good."
"Steve…"
She didn't want to take her shirt off in front of him and that was the only way he could help her with her wounds.
"Are you uncomfortable with me?" He asked seriously.
"I'm uncomfortable with myself," she muttered. She didn't expect Steve to hear it, but he did.
"You don't have any motive for that. None at all," he looked at the space in the trailer.
Max and Erica were in Max's mother's bedroom down the hall, while Lucas and Dustin were in Max's mattress on the living room floor next to the kitchenette. All asleep. Nancy was still asleep in a chair and Eddie and Robin were whispering by the couch. Steve locked eyes with Eddie for a second.
"If you feel uncomfortable with me, at least let Eddie do it. I don't think you should do it yourself. You might have wounds on your back."
"Eddie?"
"Yeah. Eddie Munson."
She looked at Steve, really looked at him. She cocked her head to the side, narrowed her eyes, and gave him a once-over, head-to-toe, and head again. "He told you?"
"Yeah."
"And you're fine with him being… you know?"
"Is it that surprising? I'm starting to feel offended."
"Sorry. No. It's just…" but she seemed astonished. Like he had done something amazing, some big quest that made him deserve the big pleased smile she gifted him. "It ain't easy being like him."
"I know. I'm not queer, so I don't really know how hard it must be, but I do know that the town– the people aren't too open-minded. Anyway, your wounds."
She took a deep breath. There was something burning between them. The way he was looking at her, talking to her, offering his help… Or maybe her brain was full of Robin's wishes and she had lost her commonsense.
One way or another, they ended up in the small bathroom of the trailer with the door open. She looked at her reflection in the mirror and took her shirt off. Steve, who had carried the first aid kit after taking his pills, covered his hands with gloves and got ready to help her.
He didn't want to make her uncomfortable by looking at her body too much, but he couldn't take his eyes away from her. Her bra was cute and seemed comfortable; he wasn't an expert, but Robin had the audacity to complain to him about how painful one of her bras was in the past and gave him a lesson about bras. Steve chuckled.
"Sorry. I'm just remembering the longest hour of my life. Robin lectured me about bras," he explained, afraid his chuckle had offended Y/N.
"It's fine."
"Let's see the bigger wound."
Pulling the cloth away from the flesh, she gasped, closing her eyes in pain. He said encouraging words while focusing, frowning and pursing his lips in concentration. The wound covered everything from the curve of her neck to the bra strap. It looked angry and fresh. Steve was as careful as he was able to, blowing air, hoping it would calm the sting sensation, and muttering apologies every time she gasped, moaned, or cursed under her breath because of the pain.
With the big bite on her shoulder covered, he attended to the couple of bites she had on her back. The demobats must have bitten her in the fight. The only thing that had prevented those wounds from being bigger might have been the clothes. He put some ointment on the bruises and scabs that the tail left on her arm. That tail must have pulled the fabric giving the demobat free range of flesh on her shoulder. She had a big bruise on her ribs.
"When did you get this?" He brushed his fingers on the spot. Her skin broke into goosebumps and Steve could've sworn that they were contagious.
"It might be Carver's."
"That was dangerous. He's desperate."
"So am I." She put the shirt on, pulling it from the hem again.
"I get it. I do. I'm still worried, though. Now, stay still."
He cured the scabs that she got on her fingers while trying to set him free. With that done, Steve held Y/N's face up with a hand on her jaw. His eyes wandered by her face. She was so close. It would be so easy to break the distance and kiss her. Just brush her lips with his and– No. His mind was a disaster at the moment, and if he kissed her without really meaning it, he would lose her forever. Carefully, he cured her lip and the scratch on her cheek.
"All set. I'm not that bad, huh?"
"I guess."
The awkwardness between them was kind of cute.
"What about your legs? Good?"
"Sore, mostly. I don't have bruises or wounds. I just need the painkillers and rest."
"Then go. Tomorrow is going to be a big day."
Y/N left the bathroom and Steve closed the door, still inside. He took off the gloves and splashed some water on his face. Maybe Robin was right. If he had given Y/N a chance before, he would've known her, better than just with her short visits to the store. Since Friday that Vecna killed Chrissy Cunningham, Steve had known Y/N better and better, and she kept surprising him.
A fucking sword, for God's sake.
When he got out, Eddie and Y/N were cuddling, sitting on the couch with their legs stretched into the coffee table. Robin was next to them and gestured to Steve to sit next to her and cuddle her to sleep. That’s exactly what he did.
To be continued...

Okay so this is just speculation, but could the seven gods be the seven planets, aka the Greek god names in the trailers corresponding to a planet (Aphrodite = Venus, Poseidon = Neptune, etc) with then "time" referencing Chronos aka the planet Saturn? And then alignment referencing a particular alignment of planets? Possibly?
So this is what I'm thinking, based on the codes so far. We know the code says "Seven Gods Align. The Lock Hides in Time. A key Formed from their union." I think that it's very possible that those seven gods both represent the seven planets (besides earth and pluto :( ) in our solar system AND seven major characters from Markiplier lore that are at play in Space.
Aphrodite (aka Venus) = Celine. So I think Aphrodite represents Celine because Aphrodite is the goddess of love and passion. She's desired by many, and literal wars have been fought because of her beauty...sounds an awful lot like our conflict between Will and Mark over Celine, doesn't it? And besides that, Aphrodite is married to Hephaestus, the god of smithing, but she frequently has affairs with...
Ares (aka Mars) = Wilford. Wilford Warfstache, aka the Colonel. It makes sense that a man who is prone to violent outbursts and kills frequently would be represented by the god of war, especially when you remember that Ares has an affair with Aphrodite, and Wilford, back when he was still the Colonel, had an affair with Celine.
Poseidon (aka Neptune) = Damien. I think Damien is represented by Poseidon for a few reasons. For one, Poseidon is the god of the sea, and in the video Damien, Damien taking control back from Celine and letting her rest is represented by the frozen landscape that Celine created melting away. And also, like the ocean itself, Damien is someone who can seem very calm and put together at first, but when he does get angry...hoo boy. Get ready for the waves.
Hermes (aka Mercury) = Abe. This one was a little trickier to figure out, but I think ultimately Abe fits as Hermes because Hermes is the god of messengers. And the entire reason that Abe was invited to the manor party in the first place is that Mark wanted a witness to the events of that night, originally so he could ruin William's life before taking his body. Before the plan went wrong, he was meant to be the one that spread Mark's message that William was a killer. And speaking of Mark...
Zeus (aka Jupiter) = Mark. Actor Mark, to be specific. Zeus is the king of the gods, the one who rules over the entire world and has domain over the sky. While it'd make sense for Mark to maybe Hephaestus to complete our affair metaphor from earlier, Hephaestus doesn't correspond to any planets the way Zeus/Jupiter does. Plus, this whole world is technically Actor Mark's domain, his world of stories, so of course he's representing himself by the most powerful God in the pantheon, right? Well, almost.
Kronos (aka Saturn) is not a god, he's a Titan. Specifically, the titan of Time. What character could that relate to? Well, that's harder to pin down. It could be the wkm House specifically, or whatever Entity resides in the house. We know that in that place, things like death, space, and time do not mean the same things that they do in the rest of the world, and Mark has said in the past that both literally and diagetically, all the stories he's telling post-Damien are stories that take place Inside the House, which is both a metaphor for our IRL Mark's imagination and Textually Fueled by Actor Mark's imagination. Kronos could also be Lady, as she is something of a Keeper of Timelines for the U.S.A., and does a fair amount of universe hopping and time traveling herself in ISWM. Either way, all this leaves one very important character Left.
Ouranos (aka Uranus). Ouranos is not a god either, nor is he a Titan. He's a primordial, something that came before all the others, and he both represents and is literally the sky. What character could be represented by such an old and powerful being? Well, I think....it's Us. The Captain. The District Attorney. Y/N. Whatever you want to call them, the Viewer is a character in this universe, and it's important to never forget that. And not only are we a character, but we're a character who is technically above every other character in terms of power, in that we are outside of the narrative entirely, just like Ouranos is outside of the structure of the rest of the pantheon. (really there are two versions of the Viewer, the in-universe version and Us, the outside-the-universe version...I don't think the in-universe version is more powerful than someo the others, but WE outside the universe, We Are, because we know things they can't ever hope to.)
All of this is just speculation, of course, but if the Gods/Planets do line up with characters, I think these are pretty good bets for who those characters could be. As for the message of the code: "Seven Gods Align. The Lock Hides in Time. A key Formed from their union."
I believe that this is a clue to or foreshadowing of the plot of the continuation of Space. "Seven Gods Align" either refers to an aligning of those seven planets Or to those seven characters/forces in the story coming to work together. "The Lock Hides in Time" is vague, and I'm sure we'll get more context in subsequent code/theory/lore drops (I am 100% sure we will get more videos like Error in the other Mondays leading up to Part 2's release), but I think this refers to Something or Someone that, if we can reach it, will allow us to repair the broken universe in Space or maybe repair the situation with the House in the overall Markiplier Cinematic Universe (my money's on the broken universe though). And "A Key Formed from their union" could again refer to several things. Perhaps the planets aligning, perhaps the group of everyone working together, or maybe "union" refers to only two people. Celine and Damien as Dark, Celine and Mark's marriage or Celine and Will's affair, or maybe even Y/N's warp crystal and Lady's warp crystal joining together. It's hard to say at this point, but I'm sure we'll find out more as time goes on and Mark tortures us more and more with subsequent lore drops. Happy theorizing, everyone!

The mindset of a RWBY Critic
So I’ve been thinking about how the ridiculousness of how out of context the rwby criticism goes, where everything the writers do is held under a microscrope and subjected to double standards.
So I’ve decided to create a list of what I have observed from the critics and how they behave.
1. Despite the writers repeatedly saying there are no power levels, critics will try at any opportunity to scream about power scaling and use it to justify their criticism of Team RWBY any time they win against somebody. Typically this will be used by Adam apologists and People who wished that the Ace Ops had killed Team RWBY.
2. Despite it being established that the Maidens were given their power to help people, critics will complain that the maidens serve no purpose or attempt to make up a flaw about them.
3. Salem- critics will say that she was nerfed in her fight against JNPR and Hazel, that she was not commanding the grimm against the atlas airfleet, or controllng the grimm river. Critics will also claim that she has no established motive, when v6-v7 literally hinted at it, and Ozpin confirmed her goal was basically suicidal armegeddon. Despite Salem lying about “new world order” the critics will say that only Team RWBY lies, but not Salem.
4. The Schnee Manor-Team RWBY and JNPR had arrest orders out for them, Nora was injured, and Penny was too. Barely a few hours passed as they had to go on foot to schnee manor, tiring them out, and barely an hour had passed while they were recovering, the writers also established that the whole v8 plotline was barely 2 days. Critics will say that they were doing nothing when in fact they were doing several things.
5. Adam Taurus....ahh, Adam, the favorite of all RWBY Critics. Apparently his willingness to blow up a train of civilians in the black trailer was either downplayed or ignored. His dismissing of the deaths of his men in mount glenn? ignored. The white fang’s willingness to use a train to blow up parts of vale? blamed on team rwby or ignored. adam attacking civilians or air-dropping grimm onto civilians during the attack on Beacon? ignored. Adam trying to blow up a school? ignored. Adam willing to kill the Belladonnas for getting in his way, or ordering the death of Ghira’s messenger? ignored.
Now as for his fighting. Apparently, Yang training for weeks with her father is ignored or downplayed, but adam sitting on sienna’s throne or not being active is ignored completely. The fact that his semblance was used to beat Yang, who was confirmed by the writers to have been fighting her way through grimm and WF in v3, was used by adam apologists to claim that adam would always be stronger than team RWBY, And that, despite being unhinged after losing Haven and the respect of the white fang, that he was somehow physically nerfed. Despite Yang and Blake both actively fighting and training ever since v4-v6, adam apologists claimed that they were BUFFED by the non-existent power-scaling that the writers explained doesn’t exist. the critics were also mad that Blake did not keep adam’s blade, the one that cut off yang’s arm, stabbed her in the gut in beacon, and cut her sword off.
Raven Branwen- apparently the fact that qrow called raven out on not caring about yang losing an arm was dismissed by raven apologists back in v4. Raven dismissed the massacre of the village her tribe wiped out, her fans immediately tried to blame the grimm rather than her, and even state that raven has not taken a single innocent life. despite her willing to put weiss in a cage, it is ignored. despite raven not having teaching skills, the critics get upset that a bandit tribe of killers and thieves has no culture, and demand that the branwen tribe somehow be like the ..Mongols I think it was? Raven’s attempts to manipulate Yang by trying to get her to doubt ozpin and stop helping ruby, are misinterpreted as raven being a caring mother. raven asking cinder to help her kill qrow is passed as a joke, and not serious. raven willing to put yang, ruby, and qrow in a trap? dismissed or justified by the critics. raven telling vernal to kill weiss? ignored. raven admitting to yang that she killed the former spring maiden? outright denied. Yang calling out raven on being a coward? caused raven fans to despise yang outright. despite summer raising yang and caring for taiyang, raven apologists claim that raven is somehow a loving and caring mother.
Ironwood...ooh, boy. where do we begin? volume 2-brings an army to vale to stop a dust robbery....gets ozpin fired by the council of vale (denied by the critics) ... hides penny’s identity from ozpin which is used by Cinder (the critics claim he did nothing wrong) ...glynda LITERALLY calls out James on not having brainpower but instead bravado, using a dick joke. volume 3- qrow calls out ironwood on stupidity and inability to be subtle. Ozpin calls ironwood misguided.
Volume 4- abuses his two seats on the council to do what he wants without any checks or balances. Even Jacques calls him out on it. Tries to pressure Weiss to join the Atlas military, which is basically where atlas academy graduates are forced to go.
volume 5- Even lionhart calls out james paranoia and negative tendencies. Volume 6- cordovin, was put there by ironwood, despite being racist and bullying...because she is loyal to him.
Volume 7- we literally see mantle in the form of a police state, complete with marching robots and military broadcasts. no huntsmen are allowed to protect mantle at any time, team rwby being the exception because ironwood belives they are “obedient” to him. To Ironwood, trust means blind obedience. Anyone protecting mantle against ironwood’s orders is arrested. repeatedly ironwood is shown to see Mantle as a sacrificial resource, preferring to take resources from mantle rather than use atlas resources. rather than negotiate with Robyn for taking back mantle resources and giving it back to the people of mantle, ironwood demands she be arrested instead. refusing to listen to Nora’s criticism or Ruby’s request to protect mantle, ironwood instead orders everyone arrested...including qrow. the Atlas Council repeatedly calls out ironwood as an authoritarian who abuses his power in a democratic system.
Repeatedly sees himself as the smartest man in the room, despite making multiple mistakes. cannot see himself as wrong in any way.
volume 8...if he cannot control something, it means to him that he cannot trust them, and so kills sleet and the SDC ships.
Ace Ops- yes yes, the non-existent power scaling. but let’s also look at how the atlas military works. they’re forced to go straight into the military from atlas academy. they’re conditioned to follow orders no matter what, hence why Clover prioritized arresting qrow over handling tyrian. they ignore the threats to civilian life in mantle unless ordered otherwise. marrow tried to talk team rwby out of fighting, so he held back. Vine was keeping Elm’s anger in check. Team RWBY had tons of teamwork experience on their side, and as Ruby stated, the Ace Ops had trained RWBY.
Now let’s go into the women that the RWBY Critics hate so much.
Robyn Hill- stole back from Atlas what was taken from Mantle, to give back to Mantle....cared about Mantle at every opportunity. Had an explosive outburst at how Jacques showed little regard for the people of mantle. Was willing to defend Qrow from arrest when Clover was prepared to carry out abandoning mantle and arresting qrow. critics call her a terrorist, immature, idiotic, selfish, etc..
Yang- since she’s grown up and is no longer wearing her “party girl” facade, anything she does is hated on. killing adam for trying to kill her despite her repeatedly telling adam to go away? not self-defense but murder according to adam fans.
getting angry at ozpin for hiding secrets that raven claimed ozpin was doing, for giving her reason to believe raven had a point? bad and hypocritical apparently. asking robyn to trust ironwood and give him time to complete amity? treachery and backstabbing. calling out salem for trying to ruin everyone’s lives because of her past? apparently somebody tried editing tv tropes to call yang “too stupid to live” and demanded that she should have been shut up by salem or killed by adam. calling summer rose her mom? that volume 2 chapter 6 scene is hated by rwby critics, denied by them...and in volume 8 when yang called Summer her mom and later her hero? that has been despised by most critics, demanding that she should have been focusing on raven. having an argument with Ruby over ideals? siblings argue, and people are not supposed to think the exact same way.
Ruby- apparently being a girl means she already gets hated. People demand that she be replaced by jaune as the protagonist. The fact that her technical expertise is focused on her scythe is ignored by people demanding she be a weapons developer. People keep hating her for not upgrading jaune’s sword to include a gun when already jaune doesn’t have any skill with guns, and is a support fighter with a shield. anything she does is held under a microscrope and attacked. she is considered a villain by critics, while anybody she fights against is considered heroic.
despite ozpin holding secrets and lionhart being a traitor, the fact that ruby was being cautious with ironwood is despised and ignored. the fact that ruby and company came up with a way to evacuate BOTH atlas and mantle, giving atlas a fighting chance? ignored and disregarded by claiming that ironwood’s plans had no flaws, disregarding the floating grimm summoning whale. her message encouraging people to work together to beat salem and giving names of people to trust worked as a means to unite them.
Ruby and Yang apologizing to each other over the flaws in their plans is used by critics not to accept that ruby accepted she was wrong, but instead to claim that the show has a protagonist mindset and that ruby cannot be allowed to be wrong...also attacking ruby and yang’s relationship as sisters, because god forbid half-sisters who don’t look like each other exist.
Qrow...apparently he cannot be allowed to have character development unless he is ruby’s father. apparently he is not allowed to have any reasons for drinking unless it involves summer rose and ruby. despite amity arena flat out stating this was not the case. he must apparently be straight, and not allowed to have any interest in men. he apparently also should have flied to atlas in volume 6 in bird form, abandoning rwby and jnpr but taking the relic with him.
he also should not have resisted arrest from clover, and willing come to ironwood in handcuffs...
jesus where do I begin with the critics.
also apparently “vic micnogna is innocent”, “shane apparently had full rights to write rwby”, “Miles and Kerry apparently bullied Monty into letting them write rwby”....”Rooster teeth is a corrupt conglomerate” “anyone defending rwby is a toxic sycophant”... seriously the stuff that these critics come up
I have to come up with more that I’ve seen later...anyone have anything to add?
let’s reblog and keep this going.
