Killer!William “Bill” Overbeck

It was useless fighting, but Bill knew better than to quit. he marched on, fearless, unstoppable, but nevertheless hopeless. Nothing to go back to, no one here really cared. Not that he could see, but that sight was shrouded by the entity. He marched on. Trial after trial. Never letting on that he had nothing left, until one day he just didn’t rescue anyone. He just wandered from generator to generator. Sneaking away from the killer as they patrolled, and the entity caught on quick that was his sign of hopelessness.

The whining of a witch greeted his ears. He dropped to a crouch instantly. Alert again he remembered why here was his hope. Why here was the best hes got. he remembered he has to protect these children. The oldest was ace at 44 and youngest was either Jake or Min, both pretty secret about it, but both very young looking. He remembered in that moment what witches do and how the survivors jump to help asap with hearing crying. He worked his way to the sound, but she started growling before he could see her. Finally finding her almost fully startled in front of the garage in the junkyard. 

Grabbing a broken pallet piece he charged her, as she started screeching and heading straight for him he took a swing and was quickly impaled. She held him down as he struggled she bit his neck. He let out a yell mostly of surprise as witches don’t bite, they just rip at your chest until finding your heart. He kicked her off and quickly started bashing her over the head with the board, joined soon by Jake who knocked her down as Bill jabbed the board into her neck and put all his weight on it until she was mostly decapitated. His mind went numb and he passed out. 

Waking up in pitch black, impaled from all sides a dark voice echoed around him. “Good, i wanted you to be awake for this. I’ve ‘paused’ the infection just so you could try and fight it... Good luck.” The voice stopped as the spikes dropped him.

“Infection.. I’m immune... n-no i can’t be! I’m imm- ah-” His hands quickly filled with pain, eyes burning, and his throat ran hot. His breathing slowed and he felt his heart stop. Death, real actual pains of death, not just the hook or mori’s he was used to. He took a breath to speak again “Why are you doing this to me?” his words quieted as he hit the end of his sentence, running out of breath as he spoke. Gasping again he said “I’m not hopeless, and I’m not going to just disappear!” His words at a yell, and his voice hoarse. 

“You were, but now its more fun. You either do as told, or you get punished. simple as that.” The spider-like spikes formed again this time as more of a cage. He stared at his hands, almost as snowy as his hair. He didn’t hurt but he was definitely not alive. The blackness faded away around him to show a camp-fire not unlike the one he knew. Except the one he knew always had at least one person at it. The empty fire made him more nervous than trials did. 

He wandered around, and soon headed out into the forest, that now seemed infinitely longer than the one at the survivor campfire. He knew what he was, admiring the fact he could retract the long claws. He stumbled upon a set of doors alike the ones he’d seen from trials, but it was open and he was entering not escaping. Finding himself within the area he remembered clearest from his past. Old carcasses scattered and new windows and pallets in the fences. He explored a bit more and huffed when the docs were replaced by a big door. He grabbed a flower and left it at that door. He’d do anything to see Zoey again.

Dead by Daylight Idea

Getting back into Dead by Daylight recently. I wish there was an offline mode where you can play with AI characters. Like, a campaign or story mode. If they can do it for the tutorials, it's not impossible.

For example, during the campaign, the unique perks to each character are locked to the teachable version of those perks and cannot be changed or upgraded, but the fourth slot that would be reserved for a general perk that can be changed and auto-upgraded and are shared among the Survivors/Killers for the player. You can still use items, add-ons, and offerings like normal. The AI characters (both Survivors and Killer), however, are essentially playing Adept (unique perks only; no items (unless found in the field), add-ons, or offerings) as if they were locked at Level 10, while the player would be like as if they were locked at Level 15. The player would be solely responsible for bringing their own items and add-ons and producing offerings, whether playing as a Survivor or Killer. The difficulty setting is fixed, getting gradually more challenging with each trial (via AI adaptive learning), in which the Survivors and Killers get wiser and stronger with experience.

The AI's behavior would be fairly straightforward. The AI Survivors will always try to make a beeline to the nearest generator (with AI Chapter Survivors making their way to the achievement generator(s)), totem, chest, and exit gate at their current location. They would also heal themselves first (using first-aid kits first, if they found one) before attempting to help anyone else nearest to them and they would always make their way to the nearest hooked Survivor. AI Killers will wander and patrol randomly, at least until they give chase and will persue relentlessly (including following blood trails and scratch marks). They would also check lockers at random and attempt to sabotage your attempts at any given chance, as well as immediately move towards sound notification locations (ex. falling pallets, rushed actions, rescue attempts, successful repairs, failed skill checks, exit gates active) and activating whatever perks they have at any given chance.

The general realm, Survivor, and Killer is also locked, based on lore. If playing as a Survivor, Dwight, Meg, Claudette, and Jake are the only characters who can be initially picked and will also be the ones filling up remaining slots at random (one of each character, no duplicates; the Chapter Survivors will always take up a slot if they're not picked); if playing as a Killer, The Trapper, The Wraith, and the Hillbilly are the only ones who can initially be picked (with The Cannibal only being available in the Coldwind Farm part as an alternative to The Hillbilly). Once all the main challenges are completed, the first chapter is unlocked, and then the next one, and so on. You get a special achivement for Survivors that I'd like to call "Like the Back of My Hand" by: Playing Adept loadout as the Chapter Survivor, completing the special generators in the respective chapter map, and exiting the trial (either by gate or hatch). For Killers, it's similar, called "Homefield Advantage": Playing Adept loadout as the Chapter Killer, sacrificing and/or killing all Survivors on any of their respective maps.

Yes, he lost many people dear to him. The worst loss was his brother, Bill wasn't the same after that. The death of his brother and his discharge due to injury led to an almost self destructive cycle and Bill fought hard to get out of it.

His fondest memories come from his time in the Army. At least the training years. Though there were also a few nice things when he was deployed.

Bill will kill anyone who threatens his friends without hesitation. He knows how to kill and he will if he has to.

A lot of screaming and angry tears. Bill is not someone who holds it back. Back in his days, he learned to trust others to console him.

He doesn't change much. Bill shows his affection very openly and will tell the other that he loves them. Though he gets really, really jealous and overprotective, so you better don't think about flirting with other men.
