Somewhere in the MIDDLE OF JANUARY OF THE NEW YEAR, I finally post SOMETHING

New year and I realized I must draw my sillies being silly more often (I’ll color one of them if not all of them later)

Also CHARACTER UPDATES!!!

I’m gonna be renaming Bats to Boon for lore reasons and I also VERY SLIGHTLY changed their younger design (they got lil eye spots now, more scales around the face and a slight change in skin color) But Ollie is still Ollie most of her origin lore is the same BUT now speaks in different language at the start so there’s gonna be a language barrier when they first meet Boon (plot reasons :}) I have NO idea what language she speaks in yet, I’m still deciding if I wanna go with an existing language (irl most likely Dutch) or if I should make one up (cause y’know, alien cat)

The taller dude is an old oc who was actually my first treasure planet fic, Siren Of Gold, I had named him Abu cause some of his design had from the monkey in Aladdin who was also named Abu and I just couldn’t come up with a better name

His redesign was actually gonna be more centaur/bug-like cause some inspiration for his design also some from Scroop, but I absolutely DESPISED IT, so I just scrapped that and just redesigned him, Again, and now I got this!

He’s still a primate/bug hybrid and he looks similar to his old design I just swapped what was fluffy and what wasn’t which made him fluffier, tail also now covered in fur except for the scorpion tail of course, his other two arms are now obviously arms just neither of claws now just his upper left arm has it now cause hybrid genetics, I also changed his legs completely and made them more bug-like therefore I changed the pants along with em and made em shorter (I’m probably just gonna post a side by side of the old and new later)

During this I had also changed his personality making him a lil more friendly towards Boon and Ollie and less antagonistic,his color scheme also has changed ALOT (gonna roll with the inverted colors I found while messing with the old design) and I had also changed his name to Khaleel Nasir (plot reasons again :})

if a few characters seem disastrous...they are. if i sound like i might be lying and /s, don't ask me if i am lying and /s, blue rize (another sky verse) is a fever dream i made up for reasons and i will not answer.

i did this to relax since i enjoy thinking about the characters' love troubles. that's about all!

khaleel (gay) with 3 hearts and "IN LOVE WITH" at leo (bi). leo toward khaleel is 5 question marks but it's noted he thinks of the two of them as "childhood friends." leo broke up with aimee, who's stressed despite his being aimee-able with her. she's "heard worrying rumors about antonio chandrani." khaleel has 1 heart toward antonio with note "cute," while antonio has a smiley and 2 hearts toward khaleel, with note "in denial over crush on him." leo has a smiley and 1 heart toward antonio with note "very cute" and antonio has a smiley with 2 hearts saying "likes him." antonio (gay) and alejandro (quote mystery unquote but not hetero) toward each other have a conflux of hidden hearts, black exclamation points and question marks implying foreboding + alarm, and an implied yellow garble of symbols atop implying curses. above the hearts is a gray cloud with blue rain onto the conflux of hearts + exclamations + question marks + garble. very tiny above the clouds says "nasir + shakir" in the same gray color. antonio and alejandro's note says "normal rivals" despite all of the above for some reason. antonio and raj toward each other is "brothers" and it says "can conflict but refuse to admit they're not as in sync as when the other is with fernando." raj (gay) toward alejandro is 3 hearts and it says "crush @ alejandro," while alejandro toward raj is 3 question marks @ raj. raj toward a face with question mark and smile with the moniker of "mystery boy" is 3 question marks, while the mystery boy has 1 heart toward him. alejandro toward diego is smiley and 3 question marks, as well as the note "best friend," while diego's toward him is smiley and 3 question marks with the note "bestie." antonio toward diego is a smiley with a broken heart and the note "likes him." diego towards him is a smiley and 3 question marks, with the note "finds him hot." diego (bi) toward fernando is 3 hearts with the note "ADORATION (crush)." fernando (bi) toward diego is 5 question marks. fernando and antonio toward each other is "brothers" and "(were close at 15)" in blue. fernando and alejandro toward each other is "good friends" in blue. fernando toward veronica is 2 hearts with the note "crush." veronica (bi) toward fernando is a smiley and 4 question marks. VERONICA ISN'T IN BOOK 1 but fernando starts crushing on her at 15-ish. this is a note on the relationship chart. diego toward raj is "wants to impress for no reason" in blue [aka platonic], and raj toward him is "weird but get along." fernando and raj toward each other is "always pretty close brothers" which contrasts with antonio and raj as well as fernando and antonio.

So Antonio and Layla Chandrani and their friends Leo, Alia and Khaleel are the main 6 protagonists of Another Sky's universe...!

They have close friends, but let's start with them first...

Here's my favorite potential Picrew looks for Antonio and Alejandro, who have a long-term relationship and equally long-term problems. Say thousands of years, due to their meeting as Ancients.
