As a kit, AshFire was kitnapped by two ambitious LeafClan apprentices, along with his littermates. But much to their misfortune, a forest fire broke out, leading the apprentices to leave the kits and save themselves. Luckily SunClan's rescue patrol didn't take long to arrive, led by the kits' father and the Clan's deputy, SootStep. He only managed to save little AshKit, return him to the Camp, but he himself couldn't survive. It was enough of a miracle that despite his serious burn scars, AshKit managed to stay alive. After this, he recieved special attention from SunClan's healer, who was also a friend of SootStep and the brother of the leader; CanarySong. AshPaw viewed him as a father figure he never really had; After a while he started kinda enjoying the moonly visits he has to make to the Healer's Den. Especially after his best friend, HoneyPaw became a healer apprentice.

At first, AshFire had a weird feeling about his warrior name. He didn't get what the leader, MorningCrystal wanted to say with this. Somehow he didn't find funny that his name has to remind him of something he can't even remember himself. Something that still has an effect on him to this day, something that keeps him from moving, running, jumping as freely as other cats do. But he kinda just had to accept it, not like he could do anything about it. And the fact that right after his warrior ceremony, things turned upside down, encouraged him to rise to the role of being the hero.

KestrelKit and HoneyKit were born two moons later than AshKit, the exact same night as the fire happened. Their mother, DaisyBloom, has been nervous throughout her whole pregnancy, but everyone in the Clan thought that this is just the usual first-time queen anxiety. But after they were born, in the company of her brother anr healer (CanarySong), and her mate (BrambleRoar), DaisyBloom couldn't keep her darkest secret any longer; Her kits weren't her mate's, nor any other Clan cats'. They were sired by a kittypet. BrambleRoar became furious, but CanarySong urged him to calm down, and warned DaisyBloom that no one else from the Clan should find out about the truth, including the kits themselves. SunClan was much more friendly to loners and other Clans, but a kittypet... That was a whole different thing. So DaisyBloom agreed to keep her kits' heritage a secret. BrambleRoar, not thrilled at all, but agreed to raise the kits as if they were his own. But it's undeniable that when moons later StarKit was born, she became his one and only favourite.

KestrelPaw and his brother became best friends with AshPaw, being the most iconic trio of the whole of SunClan. Although she was younger, her warrior ceremony was held earlier than AshPaw's. She was worried that this might leave a stain on their friendship, but luckily, it didn't. AshPaw was the loudest to cheer when she got her warrior name; KestrelCloud. And the same applied when eventually AshPaw's ceremony came. Only if it wasn't disturbed by something horrible...

Right from early kithood, HoneyKit has been showing signs of being chosen by CrystalClan to be the next healer of SunClan. Lucky him, he never even wanted to be a warrior anyway; All the fighting and violence and drama scared him. So he felt honored to be able to learn the ways of healing in CrystalClan's name. It was clear that he has a talent for this, even if it's often overshadowed by his own doubt. Even though he has a really close relationship with his sister and AshPaw, he still tends to keep to himself. He got his name a few days before AshFire's warrior ceremony. But during the event, HoneyLeaf was in the Healer's Den, with food poisoning. And that's when the unimaginable happened. While he was there, barely conscious, CanarySong was there with him. But the next time he opened his eyes... Everything was different...

Nothing was the same in SunClan after this. Being accused of something he didn't do, HoneyLeaf felt like his days were counted. He became more paranoid than he ever was. The only thing that offered him a little bit of calmness, was sleep; He found himself weirdly at home while he was strolling through the dark and forbidden Deadly Woods, along with a strange, but friendly spirit; FrozenTear.

KestrelPaw and HoneyPaw never knew even a glimpse of the drama surrounding their birth, and neither did the rest of SunClan. BrambleRoar and DaisyBloom raised them like any other parents would, and soon, their half-sister, StarKit was born

KestrelPaw was excited to be a warrior and get apprenticed to MorningCrystal herself. She was always a bubbly and energetic kitten. While her brother, HoneyPaw was much more laidback and lonesome. His connection with CrystalClan was discovered in early kithood, so he became a medicine cat apprentice. His mentor was CherryWing, who was previously mentored by CanarySong

KestrelPaw was a bit clumsy in her warrior training, but quickly learned how to do things right. Though she tends to get lazy at times, and lay in SunClan's open field territories to bathe in the sunlight. HoneyPaw, however, was a workaholic from early on. He developed strange habits, such as talking to himself, even when patients are nearby. But despite his anxiety and weirdness, CanarySong claims that he's a really talented medicine cat. He just needs to... Get used to it

Soon, KestrelPaw was ready to be a warrior; She became KestrelCloud, full value warrior of SunClan, at 11 moons old. Her and her family were overflowing with joy... Except for BrambleRoar, who grew more and more distant lately

A bit later, AshPaw's ceremony has also arrived. At this time, HoneyPaw was laying in the medicine den with food poisoning; It turns out that he has eaten tainted prey. CanarySong was looking after him, the both of them missing out on AshPaw's ceremony. And then, the unexpected happens...

Bitter, reclusive, and snappy, Foxface is a bit of a hard tomcat to get along with. He’s long since lost that competitive cockiness he was infamous for when he was younger, and through his age and grief, has turned into a very confused, struggling tom. He often wonders about the idea of wandering off or joining another Clan, but his family keeps him rooted to FloodedClan. However, just because he struggled with loyalty to his Clan doesn’t mean he doesn’t value loyalty at all; he values loyalty to his friends and family above all, willing to put anything aside to see them happy (even if he does it begrudgingly). He can be quite the loving, affectionate tom once you break through his isolated exterior, and if you were a friend of his before his disappearance, he’ll be more than happy to reconnect with you.

Fox was born in an unhappy union between Lady, a blackmailing former kittypet, and Chubtail, a scrawny, anxious caretaker from FloodedClan. Chubtail had initially left the Clan after Lady became pregnant with their first kit, Plum, but shortly after, Lady became violent and calculating, manipulating and threatening Chubtail into staying with her; afterwards, Fox was born, and Plum was old enough to give Chubtail enough time to escape back to her own Clan. After Lady passed away, Plum took care of Fox, and the young kitten looked up to his brother with all the awe in the world – “I wanna be just like you when I grow up, Plum! A brave, honor-bubble tom!” (Don’t blame him – he couldn’t pronounce honorable). And Plum doted on Fox just as much, travelling with him over vast territories.

When Fox was about five moons old, he and Plum heard rumors of three colonies of cats, settled down in the water-like areas, so Plum took Fox with him to go and investigate, hoping to find a new home for them. Unfortunately, a storm was raging when they got to FloodedClan territory; the lake had flooded, waters were swirling, and Plum dropped Fox off on the highest ground he could find. After spotting a group of cats making their way in the horizon to a safe spot, Plum ordered Fox to stay on the mound of earth and plunged into the water, trying to make his way to the group; he stood no chance against the stormy water. Fox had to watch on in horror as the only family he had ever known disappeared beneath the surface of the swirling water.

The next morning, Fox was plucked up and taken back to FloodedClan, where a sweet caretaker he had never seen before took him in, raising him and another tortoiseshell kitten – Spiderkit. The caretaker introduced themself as Chubtail.

Eventually, Foxkit grew to Foxpaw, and he had formed a happy little family on his own; he saw Chubtail as the mother he never had, Spiderpaw as the brother he lost, Slugkit as a sister he could boss around, and even bossy Lichenfoot. They were his family – and that little family branched out to other Clans too, starting with Kestrelpaw in RushingClan and Beetlepaw in MarshClan. Everything was going fine – until the war struck, and Foxpaw had to come to terms with two realizations: Chubtail was actually his blood-related parent, and Plum had not only survived his drowning endeavor, but survived and went straight to MarshClan. With no memory of who Foxpaw was.

Shortly after receiving his warrior cat name, Foxface was off, grieving and hurt, angered, frustrated – all the synonyms you can think of. He took off with the rest of his FloodedClan family, only to come back moons later, on the wish of Slugpaw. While the group had been travelling, Spiderstorm left to settle into a comfortable kittypet life, and Slugpaw and Foxface’s relationship began to strain; the young molly began to regret leaving FloodedClan, and, after a few heated arguments, convinced Foxface to turn around and head back. Now, the group is back in FloodedClan – Slugpaw received her warrior name as Slugnose, Foxface returned to his previous position warrior, and Chubtail retired to the elders den. Slugnose and Foxface, unfortunately, have yet to rebuild their family relationship, and Foxface has grown reclusive and avoided most of his Clanmates since arriving home.

Sikey’s eyes snapped up to glare wide-eyed at Baxter, as if shocked by the verbal audacity he had to even utter such a sentence; her round, dark cheeks grew darker as an angry flush spread across them. She opened her mouth, as if to shout back at Baxter, before clamping it shut; she whipped around and stormed away, feet stamping loudly across the tiled floor as she stomped her way towards the table. Baxter watched as Sikey practically flung herself in the open area of the bench that was designated as her seat; she shoved her tray towards the center of the table, arms folding where it once was and her head dropping to hide her face under. The table’s mood shifted, faces growing concerned as they tried to reach out to Sikey – Baxter couldn’t hear what they were saying, but he could see their mouths moving. Isabella extended her arm across the table, one hand resting in Sikey’s black hair, while Grey scrambled around the table and settled in a seat next to Sikey, leaning her shoulder against the hunched girl’s shoulder.

           Baxter felt a twist in his stomach – guilt? Why would he feel guilty? – but he didn’t harp on it, or he didn’t have the time to, at least. One kid behind him shoved him, right between his shoulder blades, and huffed, “Move forward! You’re holding up the line!”

Bossy and loud, Slugnose may lack eyesight, but she doesn’t let that bother her! She knows how to take charge of any situation, and unfortunately, she can be quite hot headed – it’s either her way or the high way. She can be selfish, easily annoyed, and – as stated before - <i>bossy</i>, and she’s not one to let people slide on their mistakes; she’s undyingly loyal, however, and since she’s returned to FloodedClan, she’s devoted to working her tail off for this Clan. She’s diligent and hardworking, and rather clever. Slugnose is well aware that she can’t complete certain tasks the same way others can – her aim will always be a little bit off, no matter how hard she’s tried, but she’s learned how to work together. With her excellent tracking skills (she prides herself on her intense sniffer), Slugnose can track down anything – cat or pray – so she tends to take someone with her, lead them to the source, and work with them to complete the task.

Long before Slugnose was born, a molly named Thistlecloud was constantly urged by her parents to settle down and bring kits into FloodedClan – not because they wanted to see her start a family, but because they wanted to ensure that their bloodline carried on and that FloodedClan still had another generation of future warriors or caretakers to defend their Clan. Thistlecloud didn’t exactly want kits – she wasn’t a mother, nor did she ever see herself as being a mother; one day, she met up with her MarshClan friend – Quailfoot – and caved, explaining everything that had been happening. The two came to a mutual agreement and spent the night together intimately, but not without regret. After Thistlecloud had become pregnant, as expected, the friendship between the two grew rocky, and eventually the young molly cut ties with her old friend due to the discomfort and awkwardness in the friendship. When she had Slugkit, she went straight back to her warrior duties – leaving the kitten for the caretakers; Chubtail took Slugkit in, nurturing her as if she were their own.

And Slugkit grew to be Slugpaw with their own family – Chubtail, Foxface, Spiderstorm, and Lichenfoot, her mentor, whom she viewed as a sister figure. But family sticks together, so when Foxface wanted to leave, Slugpaw sucked up her feelings and went with her older brother figure, staying with her family as they left; after Spiderstorm left the group, settling down in a kittypet life with a pretty feline they had met, Slugpaw began to grow restless and, more importantly, <i>resentful</i>. Arguments and fights began to break out between Foxface and Slugpaw about when they would be going home, and after one particularly bad fight, Slugpaw convinced Foxface to head back. So the group did.

She returned to FloodedClan – earned her warrior cat name shortly after, and now continues to work for the Clan as she did before.

Sikey’s eyes snapped up to glare wide-eyed at Baxter, as if shocked by the verbal audacity he had to even utter such a sentence; her round, dark cheeks grew darker as an angry flush spread across them. She opened her mouth, as if to shout back at Baxter, before clamping it shut; she whipped around and stormed away, feet stamping loudly across the tiled floor as she stomped her way towards the table. Baxter watched as Sikey practically flung herself in the open area of the bench that was designated as her seat; she shoved her tray towards the center of the table, arms folding where it once was and her head dropping to hide her face under. The table’s mood shifted, faces growing concerned as they tried to reach out to Sikey – Baxter couldn’t hear what they were saying, but he could see their mouths moving. Isabella extended her arm across the table, one hand resting in Sikey’s black hair, while Grey scrambled around the table and settled in a seat next to Sikey, leaning her shoulder against the hunched girl’s shoulder.

           Baxter felt a twist in his stomach – guilt? Why would he feel guilty? – but he didn’t harp on it, or he didn’t have the time to, at least. One kid behind him shoved him, right between his shoulder blades, and huffed, “Move forward! You’re holding up the line!”

DaisyBloom's kits

DaisyBloom is a warrior of SunClan. Her littermates are MorningCrystal, the leader of the Clan, and CanarySong, the head medicine cat. Her mate is BrambleRoar, who may be a bit distant sometimes, but he loves her.

When DaisyBloom found out that she's expecting kits, her mate was overjoyed, but she herself didn't seem all thrilled... I guess you could say that first-time queens are always nervous and worried, but it still seemed off. However, since nothing went wrong with her pregnancy, the cats of her Clan didn't seem to notice her sudden anxiety.

It was a stressful night when she went into labor; SunClan was despereatly trying to stop the two LeafClan intruders who have stolen MistyHeart's kits. The older queen's mate died during the rescue mission, and so did two of the kits. Only one of them survived, though with severe burn scars; Little AshKit, who was laying unconscious in the medicine den. CanarySong was already stressed enough when he rushed to help his sister.

Everything went well, she delivered two beautiful kits, but somehow DaisyBloom still wasn't calm. And that's when the unexpected happened; She, herself claimed, that her kits were not BrambleRoar's. Furthermore, they were concieved by a kittypet. SunClan generally is much more chill with half-clan relationships and supported them, but a kittypet... Sheeesh. Needless to say, BrambleRoar wasn't happy. But before he could've said any bad things, CanarySong stepped in; He made it clear that the Clan, including the kits themselves, should not know about this, and made BrambleRoar promise that it would stay that way.

So BrambleRoar and DaisyBloom stayed a regular couple, or atleast from the outside. He raised the kits as if they were his own, but it could be felt that he's still somewhat bitter about them. And that's the backstory of KestrelKit and HoneyKit :))

And here he is; The talk of the town, the kittypet behind this all, the one who connects all these cats. At first glance, he may seem harmless. And he probably would be, if there wouldn't be some strange spirits, constantly whispering in his ear... But why is he doing all of this? Well, when he met a gentle, nice clancat, he felt like as if his life had been changed... Only for her to see him as a simple one night stand. And somehow this woke up something inside him; An ancient, instinctical desire for the "freedom" of being a clancat... Who knew that the yew bushes in his owner's garden would push him so close to his goal?

First, he met Sun and Moon. They were regulars at his garden, constantly picking berries, no one knew why. Until one day, Chester gathered all his courage, and told them that the bushes are his. The strangers seemed puzzled, but after a few silent glances, they asked him; What could they do, for him to allow them to keep picking berries? Well, Chester had quite a few ideas. But he decided to go with the one that some strange, broken figured suggested to him in a dream; He decided to ask them to join "the Clan", and spy on them for him. He didn't know that SunClan was not the only Clan, and neither did the rogues. So they joined LeafClan, told him everything they saw and heard. He wasn't quite satisfied, but he kept his promise to them.

Then he met CinnamonCloud, a clancat who was way too far away from her own territory. Only CrystalClan knows what she was looking for, but she found Chester. And Chester, who recognised her from the stories his pals told him earlier, and told her that he has exactly what she might be looking for. CinnamonCloud, as always, was cautious of him... But curious as well. So she decided to do as he says; Keep an especially close eye on SunClan.

And lastly, he met BrambleRoar. Another clancat, who was certainly upset about something he did not want to talk about. Refusing to talk to Chester, he immediately jumped through the fence, and rushed towards the yew bushes. But this time, the kittypet catched up to him to stop him, and demanded to know why is everyone so interested by the bushes. And after the warrior, slightly annoyed, explained the purpose of so-called "deathberries" to him, a whole new room of possibilities opened up before his eyes... And with that, he offered BrambleRoar this unlimited supply of yew berries, in exchange for a teeny-weeny small thing; A chance to talk with the kits he just found out about.

The night when AshKit's littermates died, and he gained his burn scars, his life changed. He had to stay in the medicine den for a good amount of time, and still has to go on moonly checkups to this day

One night, when AshKit was still in the medicine den, a newly made warrior, SilverBloom came to visit. He felt sorry for the little kit, and wanted to make sure that he was alright. The medicine cats and other authority figures of SunClan were all concerned; What if AshKit will never be able to be a warrior? SilverBloom decided to take the first step, talk to CanarySong. The older medicine cat was a littermate of SunClan's leader, MorningCrystal, so SilverBloom knew that he's the only cat who could make his idea come to reality. He asked to mentor AshKit when he is ready. And luckily, CanarySong managed to convince MorningCrystal to let this happen

SilverBloom, despite being a young and inexperienced mentor, still tried his best to teach AshPaw. He was always patient with the apprentice, and comforted him when he had his doubts. AshPaw had it a little harder than his denmates; His scars often made it hard for him to move and train like any other cat. Especially with his weakened back leg, he had some trouble learning how to run or jump with it, but eventually managed to make up his own way of doing things. His mother, MistyHeart and SilverBloom helped him embrace who he is, and so did his best friend, KestrelPaw

KestrelCloud was made into a warrior a few moons earlier than AshPaw, despite being younger than him, but he didn't mind it. In fact, he was incredibly happy for his friend, and couldn't wait to join her as a warrior when his own time comes. AshPaw spent a great amount of time daydreaming about his own warrior ceremony; What would his full name be? Maybe AshHeart, after his mother? Or AshSpeck, after his late father? Or maybe AshPebble, AshSmoke? Maybe something completely different, like AshFur? AshTail? AshLeg or AshFoot would be a little bit ironic, wouldn't they? Then maybe AshFall? AshCloud, so he could match with KestrelCloud? Maybe. He didn't know, but he couldn't wait to find out

When the special day came, AshPaw felt like he was flying. As he sat under the Great High, waiting for MorningCrystal to announce his name, he imagined CrystalClan gathered all around him. And then she said...

... "AshFire"

Fire? Really? How could MorningCrystal name him after the very thing that scarred him? The tragedy that he has no memories, but nightmares of? Is this some kind of sick joke, made by CrystalClan? He didn't understand. But he didn't need to. Whatever this name meant, he was sure that it had a proper reason behind it. And what really mattered was, that he was ready to prove to all of SunClan that he could be the best warrior they ever had. The name AshFire will be remembered, and never to be made fun of. And that's a promise

Chester - Brown tom with lighter patches and mask. He has eerie green eyes, and wears a purple collar. Kittypet, near SunClan's territory.

Scarlett - Reddish-ginger colored molly, with amber eyes and a nicely decorated collar. Kittypet near SunClan's territory.

Snowflake - Huge, white and silver colored tom with purple eyes. He wears a purple bandanna and has a scar across his face. He lives in a barn near SnowClan's territory.

Blueberry - Blue-gray colored molly with darker freckles, and curly fur. She has brown eyes, and a scar across her left eye that makes her half-blind. Lives with Snowflake in the barn, currently pregnant with his kits.

BlizzardGaze - White colored tom with reddish speckles and blue eyes. Resides in CrystalClan.

WildFlower - White colored molly with reddish tabby stripes and emerald-green eyes. Her fur is decorated with all kinds of flowers. Resides in the Deadly Woods.

ColdHeart - Blue-gray tabby tom with red eyes. Resides in the Deadly Woods.

FrozenTear - Blue-gray tom with white underbelly and ginger freckles. He has clawmarks across both of his eyes, making him blind. Resides in the Deadly Woods.

Founders

Rising Sun - Short-legged molly with curly, ginger fur and golden underbelly. She has bright green eyes, and wears monarch wings as decoration.

Mountain Peak - Dark gray tolly with black tabby stripes, and rough, spiky fur. They have ragged ears, yellow eyes, and longer fangs. They wear juniper berries as decoration.

Shining Snow - Molly with snow-white pelt and gray underbelly. She has blue and yellow, heterochromic eyes, and is deaf in her right ear. She wears blue flowers as decoration.

Autumn Leaf - Calico tom with unusual, blue eyes, and a scar across his face. He wears oak leaves as decoration.

Blanket you sleep with: i have like 4 blankets. 2 are at home, my white blanket and my blue blanket, and 2 are here in colorado, my gray and my purple. all are huge and super soft and comfy. use only one at a time and fold them in half for double warmth!!!

Why I made a tumblr: i dont remember. it was years and years and years ago. made it in middle school and i’m in college now

Reasons for my url: i used to be into warrior cats in 5th and 6th grade and my warrior-OC was called kestrelcloud. eventually i grew out of warrior cats and dropped the “cloud” so it was just kestrel. then i added an “e” to it when changing my URL because the original “kestrel” URL was taken.
