For all our days that tear the heart es un álbum conjunto de Jessie Buckley y Bernard Butler. El encuentro entre una actriz y cantante nominada al Oscar y un productor y músico ganador del Brit dió como resultado una colección de doce canciones. "El álbum debería ser descubierto como si te encontraras por sorpresa con una caja de fotografías en el fondo de un armario" - Jessie Buckley & Bernard Butler. Coming Attractions October 2022

As usual, we present monthly previews of new movies being released. These are the movies that will be hitting your local cinemas (and streaming services) this month:

October 7th

Mr. Harrigan’s Phone (October 5) - John Lee Hancock directs this Stephen King short story adaptation starring Jaeden Martell and Donald Sutherland for Netflix.

Amsterdam - Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington lead the cast of this new David O. Russell film (his first since 2015).

Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile - Shawn Mendes is the voice of the singing crocodile, Lyle, in this adaptation of a children’s story of the same name. Constance Wu, Scoot McNairy, and Javier Bardem co-star.

Hellraiser - Pinhead is back in this new installment of Clive Barker’s horror franchise. Look out for Hellraiser on Hulu.

October 14th

Halloween Ends - Hitting theaters and Peacock this month is the 13th film in the Halloween franchise, though only the fourth in the current timeline that includes Halloween (1978), Halloween (2018), and Halloween Kills (2021).

Till - Danielle Deadwyler is Mamie Till-Mobley, the mother of Emmett Till, in the story is her son’s lynching in 1955.

Rosaline - Kaitlyn Dever is Romeo’s ex and Juliet’s cousin in this Shakespearean0inspired comedy coming to Hulu.

October 21st

The School for Good and Evil (October 19) - Paul Feig directs Kerry Washington and Charlize Theron in this fantasy film based on a book series for Netflix.

Black Adam - Dwayne Johnson is the Black Adam in this newest DC superhero film. Along for the ride is Aldis Hodge as Hawkman and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate.

Ticket to Paradise - George Clooney and Julia Roberts reunite as a pair of divorced parents in this new romantic comedy.

The Banshees of Inisherin - Martin McDonagh directs Colin Farrell, Brendon Gleeson, Kerry Condon, and Barry Keoghan in this black comedy about friendship.

October 28th

The Good Nurse (October 26) - Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne go head-to-head in this true-life crime drama about a nurse suspected of murdering patients. The film will premiere on Netflix this month with a screenplay from Krysty Wilson-Cairns

The Devil’s Light Prey for Devil - Movies change titles throughout productions all the time. What is interesting about Prey for the Devil is that it released a trailer as The Devil’s Light before changing its name. Regardless, it comes out this month and it is a horror movie about exorcism. 

Now for a quick look ahead to November, my top picks for next month are Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and The Fabelmans.
