Bazı hikâyeler vardır; etkisi saatler, günler veya haftalar sürer. Konuşacağımız hikâye ise o türden değil. "Berserk, ayrı bir dünya." [Spoiler!]

"Sadece orta çağ işte. Abartılacak ne var anlamıyorum." diyerek girdiğim Berserk'e şu an çıldırıyorum. Daha bir finale sahip olmamasına rağmen o kadar tatmin edici ki... Kentaro Miura, yazdığı ve çizdiği her nokta ile saygımı kazandı. Hadi Berserk'i neden bu kadar övdüğümü anlatayım.

Okuyan herkesin anlayacağı üzere hikâye üç kişi arasında oluşturulmuş kompleks bir bağ üzerinden ilerliyor. Başta kurulan bu bağ eclipse (tutulma) sırasında sarsıntılı bir değişiklik geçiriyor. Söylemeliyim ki tutulma olayı beni benden almıştı. Çünkü güvendiğiniz bütün her şey gidiyor. Uzun bir süre geçirip empati kurduğunuz kişilerin hızlıca yok olduğunu görmek, Guts ile okuyucu arasında kurulan bağı güçlendiriyor ve kalıcı kılıyor.

Tabii ki tutulma daha yaşanmadan önce konuşulması gereken bir sürü olay var. Öncelikle Guts'ın hikâye boyunca amacının değişmesi doğallık kattığı gibi karakter gelişimi için de önemli adımlar atıyor. Guts karşımıza 3 şekilde çıkıyor: Ordu genarali, dostuna layık olmaya çalışan bir adam ve intikamcı. Bu geçişler o kadar hızlı ve şaşırtıcı ki ilk okuduğumda "Bu ne şimdi? Sadece bu olayların anlatıldığı 1000 bölümlük mangalar var ve bu olay hızlıca değişiyor mu?" demiştim.

Guts'ın bu karakteristik evrelerinin hepsini kapsayan bir evre daha var aslında: Canavar evresi. İlk bölümlerde, düşman general ile teke tek mücadele sırasında hayatını riske edip avantaj yakalaması ve galip gelmesi ile başlıyor bu evre. Özellikle yaratıklar ile olan savaşında ise bu durum iyice göze parmak oluyor.

Hikâye boyunca yaratıklar başka bir dünyadan gelse de çok insancıl istekleri oluyor. Bunlar cinsel tatmin, hayatta kalma veya otorite isteği gibi şeyler olabiliyor. Bütün bu yaratıkların aksine Guts sadece savaşıyor ve hayatını riske etme konusunda hiç çekinmiyor.

Berserk bize yaratıklara karşı olan mücadeleyi anlatıyormuş gibi gözükse de en büyük canavarı ana karakter bellemiş durumda. Guts, mangadaki bütün canavarlardan daha canavar. Yan karakterler de bu durumu dile getirmekten çekinmiyorlar.

Son olarak: Bu eser gerçekten herkese göre değil. Bunun sebebi de her şeyin gerçek olması. Fantastik bir dünyada, gerçek hisleri çok iyi ve doğru veriyor. Berserk: Gerçek ve dehşet bi' dünya.

Train's & Sephiria's Ambiguous Relationship

Note: this is a post with little to no value for story analysis since my opinions can be bias and paranoia when it comes to this ship. This also gonna be long as hell with many parts so i that don't ram all the info in one place, and it will take a long time before I can write and post all of them.

So as I have re-read the manga to the point it became unhealthy, I can’t help but sensing something is going on between Train and Sephiria. They don’t explicitly show anything, but since the two are both the type to hide their true feelings when it comes to sentimental matters, their seemingly indifferent attitude towards one another (especially Train) just adds more to my suspicion.

Needless to say, Train is certainly a "special existence" to Sephiria. He is the first one she thinks of whenever something happens. While it is unclear if she pays more attention to his ability or him, she definitely does not mean to exploit him in a heartless way. It's true that she care for him a lot more than how it should be normally, to the point that Xiao Li can realize it. However, her organization and her Numbers always seems to worth her prioritizing more than he does, both rationally and emotionally.

It's a bit harder to tell with Train, however, since he ignores everything that has to do with Chronos. But he does trust Sephiria a lot, despite knowing how malnipulative she can be. It's important to remember that malnipulative people are the one of type he hates the most. He doesn't like controlling others or being controlled. He is outwardly doubtful of Rinslet, though not in a hostile way, because she has had some suspiscious attempts in the past. He holds Sephiria in high regards, even calling her captain after he has left. The rank addressing maybe just a slip of the tongue, but it shows how he does not object to her being the one who gives him order that much. His wish to leave mainly stems from the Elders and their rules.

There are hints across the story about how he kinda has a soft spot for her that I will elaborate below.

1. Volume 5:

This is when Sephiria was first introduced. It was shown in the picture here that Train froze on the spot for a short while when he saw her from the window. Since Sven noticed him going to see what’s going on down there and still did not hear him say anything, he had to ask Train about it himself.

While it must partly because he was not expecting her appearance, seeing that often people of her rank would not go to do business personally when it’s not a global-scale significant one, I believe Train’s reaction is still something special. Throughout the manga, Train is rarely taken aback by the presence of anyone, even from his enemies. Prior to Sephiria’s visit, Berze had also come across Train’s gang on the street, yet Train acted quite natural, despite having some secs of reflexive surprise.

He literally could not care less unless it was about the safety of his friends (Echidna’s case), and if you re-read, the way Berze turned up it’s much more dramatic than Sephiria in Vol.5. However, Train’s usual manner, even just for a short while, slipped only when he saw her. He was definitely well aware that Sephiria did not mean any harm, he knows she is better than that. And-yet-he-still-froze.

Another thing is how Sephiria addressed Eve on their first meeting. Given that she had discovered about Train’s whereabout, I suppose Sephiria would have also done some research on his partners as well, so she probably knew Eve’s name. Nevertheless, Kentaro Yabuki let her call Eve by the exact nickname Train gave her. It was weird, for someone as polite as Sephiria to act so out of courtesy, because up to that point she was a total stranger to the girl. Japanese people do heed the addressing seriously. Similar to Western culture, they will use last name, or must be name in this case (Eve doesn’t have last name), for people they aren’t as close with or superiors. Not to mention Sephiria addresses Train by Heartnet almost the entire series.

During that talk, Sephiria’s purpose for her visit was quite clear. She said that Chronos was intending to rely on the sweepers force to capture Creed and handed them the wanted poster, announcing that the bounty for his head was serious and stuff. With all that information, it is pretty obvious that she was asking Train a favor, seeking his cooperation. Yet, the fact that she was aiming to “use” him still disappointed Train somewhat, even if he could tell that her hands were tied.

The panel before this one was the one in which Sephiria confirmed that it was totally Chronos’s idea, and it is visible here that Train was a bit amazed by that news. After the realization, he smiled this ‘Oh-so-turns-out-you-only-come-because-Chronos-requires-my-ability-again.’ smile to her. But, what did he expect, like…for real? She had explained the circumstance and obviously did not mean anything else besides business. Optimizing every resource available has always been Chronos’s way, which he knew. Sephiria showing up at his door is enough to tell Chronos wants something from him.

Of course, being an experienced manipulative a** (sorry Sephie it’s true), Sephiria understood how he would feel. She noticed his unease at the offer and changed tactic, striking at his weak spot which is Saya’s death. This is the first time Sephiria tried to manipulate him in the story imo, and she always seemed to get away with it because Train did not wish to conflict with her.

Why saying she was manipulating? The fact that she came with Berze to Train’s place while it was unnecessary was proof. If it was just because she wanted to inform things and allow him time to think on the offer, etc…Berze could have done it alone. The trio met Berze before her, they had seen that he did not pursue bloodshed. It was fine to let him do the job. But being the woman whom he still holds in high regard even now, Sephiria had probably accompanied her deputy to raise the successful rate. She knows that her presence affects him in some ways. It could be said that she played it smart, but it is a kind of manipulation, or persuading strategy, for understatement.

Splurged on books at Kinokinuya when I went to pick up Berserk vol2. Ended up getting four other volumes I was missing… and found a display for Junji Ito! So, right now one of my toe tags is being used as a bookmark in the cat diary. I’m in love with Yon’s skull marking, and I want a cat like that. 😆

Pretty sure I’ll finish the cat diary tonight, and I might read the other Ito books at work.

Tomorrow, I’ll finally pick up my copy of Black Butler vol30. Austin Books & Comics got my copy in some time ago, but they failed to call or email; they’ve been having issues with their notification system lately.

Ugh, I just finished reading “Berserk” for the first time, and now I feel sad as hell.  It’s incredibly sad that Kentaro Miura died before he was able to finish this story, and man, seemingly right at the point of it reaching it’s climax too.  

I honestly had no idea that the manga was even still ongoing when I started it.  Considering it was first published in 1990, I assumed it must have concluded long ago.  

I really wanted to see some kind of conclusion to the situation between Guts and Griffith, specifically.  I felt like the story really revolved around these two, and that, in a way, they were duel main characters.  The early friendship between them was incredibly moving, I thought, and made the tragedy of what came between them all the more impactful.  I know Griffith gets a lot of hate, and people like to label him as purely evil, but I felt from the start he’s a much more complex and layered character than such a definition implies.  The parallels between him and Guts were abundant, and I honestly thought, as I progressed through the story, that a moment of redemption was possible for Griffith.  I think, in a way, that would have been the ultimate salvation, both for him and Guts.  If Guts could find a way to forgive Griffith, it would free Guts from the bonds of his own, darker struggles.  I think that would have tied in wonderfully with the themes of this series, of learning to appreciate what you have and let go of your anger and bitterness and dissatisfaction, etc...  Well, I could talk on and on about it.

One thing I did want to talk about though, is the theme of salvation through friendship, and specifically how we see this play out for both Guts and Griffith.  I’m going to be talking spoilers here, for anyone who hasn’t read the manga, but is planning to.

Guts leaving The Band of the Hawk, and leaving Griffith, served as the catalyst for Griffith’s downfall, because Guts was always going to be Griffith’s salvation.  He was Griffith’s one, true human connection, the only one to ever make him forget his dream, his way of holding on to his humanity.  But when Guts leaves him, really abandons him, he takes that salvation with him, and sends Griffith down an irreparable path of self-destruction.   What struck me while thinking about this is how we see this paralleled between Guts and Puck.  Guts is spiraling down a path of self-destruction when he meets Puck for the first time.  He’s hell bent on revenge against Griffith, and is becoming himself more and more monstrous with each passing day, less and less human, less and less compassionate.  He actively spurns and tries to drive Puck away, over and over, and acts in ways so terrible and inhumane that Puck, several times, threatens to abandon Guts.  But... he never does.  Through it all, through all of Guts’ terrible behavior and actions, through all of Guts’ attempts to frighten Puck off, etc... Puck never actually does.  He sticks doggedly with Guts, and flat out refuses to go.  I think this relationship gets overlooked in its vital importance to Guts’ own salvation (this in part, probably, to how Puck, unfortunately, ended up being reduced to a comic relief character later on in the story).  Without Puck’s refusal to abandon him, I think it’s unquestionable that Guts would have ended up continuing down the same path he’d been on and would have, eventually, fallen, the same way Griffith did.  I think this is really important, then, in understanding Griffith’s character, and finding empathy for him.  The same way Guts needed a friend to save him from self-destruction, Griffith too needed a friend, one who wouldn’t abandon him, no matter what.  But whereas Puck never did abandon Guts, Guts, tragically, DID abandon Griffith.  People talk about the key difference between Guts and Griffith being that Guts was able to grow and learn from his mistakes, and eventually come to accept the help and friendship of others, while Griffith was unable to do the same.  But, again, I think it gets overlooked, just how much of a role Puck’s refusal to abandon Guts played in him being able to do what Griffith couldn’t.  Without Puck’s insistent friendship, Guts never would have met Shierk, Farnese, Isidro, Serpico, etc... he never would have gone back for Casca.  He simply would have continued down the same, revenge driven path he’d been on.  I think, if Guts had done the same for Griffith, refusing to abandon him, then the Eclipse never would have happened, and the events both leading up to and after it would never have come to pass.  Guts’ role in Griffith’s downfall is something I don’t see get discussed much, I think because of an accepted desire to think of Griffith as simply “evil”, but I think Guts’ role in Griffith’s downfall also can’t be denied.  That duality of both being Griffith’s salvation and his destruction is really interesting, and tragic in the way it unfolded.  It’s that kind of layered complexity to these characters and their motivations that made this such an interesting and in many ways moving manga.  I hope they’ll find some way to continue it, even if it won’t ever be quite the same.

Jade Lotus: Memories from Before

Sometimes I wish I was some normal auri girl. But...

Some time ago, I was born in another place called the “Tenryuu Estate”. My family used to serve as bushi to Lord Kentaro, head of the Tenryuu family. We served as guards, assassins, shinobi, warriors... each one of us had individual talents.

Lord Kentaro died soon after I was born.

And so were my relatives. In a fight that nobody until today could explain quite right what happened. The only ones that survived returned to Tenryuu Estate, without their lord’s body, only his sword. They would present it to Lady Kaori, his wife.

With the end of the battle, Lady Kaori dismissed all the warriors and servant families of the Tenryuu Estate. There was no need for us, no purpose. Only one family remained, the Kiryuu branch, because they were already related to the main clan.

Mother and Father were gifted with a naginata, a personal weapon, a spear that belonged to Lady Kaori. It was meant to become a memento for our times as servants. But it was also a message. And an omen somehow. It was almost like Lady Kaori would know what would come after this.

She sent a scroll with us, recommending our services to any lord that would take us. We ended being hired by a village at the margin of the One River, to act as guards against any imperial threat.

Mother trained me to become an onna-bugeisha and a shrine maiden, so I could choose a path between both and follow my heart. I learned how to play the guzheng, and also archery, fencing and the traditional kagura dance. Father said one day that I would be a great woman and marry a great man because of my dedication. It was the happiest day of my life...

and the last time I would talk to him.

Word spread as quickly as the wind, talking about a revolution. We would liberate Lord Kaien from his prison at the Doma Castle, we would take what was ours back. We sent a letter to the Tenryuu Estate, so that Lady Kaori and perhaps even the young lord Shintaro could help in the fight. But they never answered the call... and many others didn’t too.

We will triumph and let these memories from before succumb to their own demise.

Le anteprime al Lucca Comics & Games 2018

Proiezioni, home video e albi presenti in anticipo alla fiera.

Parte domani la nuova edizione del Lucca Comics & Games e in occasione di questa cinque giorni straripante di cose da fare, vedere e comprare, abbiamo pensato di stilare, oltre alla guida agli ospiti, una lista delle anteprime presenti in fiera. Fra comunicati stampa e social, ecco cosa è venuto fuori. 

DYNIT

Presso gli stand dell’editore saranno acquistabili il cofanetto home video della prima stagione di “My Hero Academia”, quello per il trentennale di “Akira”, quello del primo film di “Fate/stay night - Heaven’s Feel” e anche quello di “Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin VI: Rise of the Red Comet”, tutti in uscita ufficialmente il 7 novembre.

Per la collana Showcase della sezione manga invece sarà disponibile "Voglio Mangiare Il Tuo Pancreas!", tratto dal romanzo omonimo di Yoru Sumino (in uscita a gennaio), da cui è anche stato tratto il film anime che uscirà al cinema il il 21, 22, 23 gennaio 2019.

Venerdì 2 novembre alle ore 15:30, presso l’Auditorium San Girolamo verranno presentati i primi due episodi di “Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online”, spinoff della popolare serie tratta dall’opera di Reki Kawahara, trasmesso in simulcasst su VVVVID, che vedremo presto arrivare anche Blu-ray & DVD.

Sabato 3 novembre alle ore 11:00, presso il cinema Centrale in via del Poggio 36, potrete inoltre assistere in anteprima nazionale alla proiezione di “Penguin Highway”, il film d’animazione tratto dal romanzo di Tomihiko Morimi, che verrà distribuito da Nexo Digital il 20 e 21 novembre.

CRUNCHYROLL

Venerdì 2 novembre alle ore 11:00, presso il Cinema Astra, Crunchyroll mostrerà in anteprima l’episodio 5 di “Le bizzarre avventure di Jojo: Vento Aureo”, come regalo al pubblico italiano di Lucca Comics & Games. Gli spettatori saranno i primi al mondo a vedere l’episodio, intitolato “Alla ricerca del tesoro di Polpo!”.

Il nuovo capitolo della serie animata da David production e tratta dal celebre manga di Hirohiko Araki è attualmente in simulcast sulla piattaforma; gli episodi escono ogni venerdì alle 19:05.

Allo stand troverete anche le ultime novità home video degli ultimi mesi, quali “Holly e Benji, due fuoriclasse”, “Holly e Benji Forever”, “Gun Frontier”, “General Daimos”, “Lupin III La prima serie” (per la prima volta in Blu-ray), “Devil Lady”, “Ken il guerriero - La leggenda di Hokuto” e i primi due box della serie storica di Ken il Guerriero. Anche Man-ga, canale 133 di Sky interamente dedicato all’animazione giapponese, presenterà le prossime novità della sua programmazione, come i doppiaggi di “Kyashan SINS” e “Sengoku Basara – Samurai Kings 2”, svelando le due misteriose prime tv, attese tra dicembre 2018 e gennaio 2019.

Sarà disponibile anche il cofanetto de “I Cavalieri dello Zodiaco - I Capitoli di Ade” dedicato alla serie che ha trasposto in animazione la saga finale dello storico manga di Masami Kurumada. Purtroppo però sarà presente solo la versione standard, a causa dei molto preordini (l’uscita ufficiale è prevista per il 22 novembre), l’azienda ha deciso di non portare in fiera la versione deluxe, date le scorte limitate. 

Inoltre, per festeggiare i 40 anni di “UFO Robot Goldrake”, fra le varie iniziative e i gadget, sarà presente anche la nuova edizione home video in DVD e per la prima volta in Blu-ray della serie.

Anime adaptasi dari komik karya Sataru Noda berjudul "Golden Kamuy" merupakan anime yang bercerita tentang petualangan seorang tentara vetaran bernama Saichi Sugimoto yang dijuluki si "Abadi" dan Asirpa dalam berburu emas suku ainu di Hokkaido di era pasca perang Jepang-Rusia. Golden Kamuy ini di jadwalkan akan tayang pada 9 April 2018.

Dalam komik Golden Kamuy dikisahkan tentang Saichi Sugimoto, seorang tentara veteran perang antara Jepang dengan Rusia pada tahun 1904 – 1905 yang dijuluki Sugimoto si “Abadi”, yang mencari peruntungan di tanah belantara Hokkaido untuk berburu emas. Ketika ia tidak sengaja menemukan peta yang mengarah ke harta emas tersembunyi milik suku Ainu, Sugimoto langsung bertekad untuk menemukan emas tersebut. Akan tetapi tidak hanya Sugimoto yang mengincarnya, siapapun yang mengetahui keberadaan harta tersebut tidak segan-segan untuk saling membunuh untuk memilikinya. Menghadapi iklim dingin dan medan daerah utara yang keras, disertai para kriminal jahat dan ambisi tentara Jepang, Sugimoto perlu mengerahkan segala kemampuan, keberuntungan serta bantuan dari gadis suku Ainu bernama Asirpa.

The Village Without Soul, part 2

My name is Len. I am the last of the T’ien-mu family of retainers. We used to serve under the Tenryuu family until the day Master Kentaro died. That day, many years ago, Kentaro’s widow, Lady Kaori, relieved us from our duty protecting her family, because she felt that we shouldn’t be tied to a estate without a Lord and their son was still very young to be one. My family accepted but with the condition that as soon as the child was able to become a landlord, they would come back to fulfill their promise to serve under the Tenryuu Family. Lady Kaori accepted the deal, sealing it with an object: her own personal Naginata, telling my father that they should deliver this to Shintaro to prove their identities and worth, if she was not there anymore.

My mother, an onna-bugeisha like Lady Kaori, told me this story, since I was very small to understand anything, or to remember anything. My parents passed away when the Doman Resistance tried to siege the Doma Castle five years ago and my mother, before dying. told me to look for Shintaro, of the Tenryuu Family. The first place I looked was their estate. What I found... was something else.

“Len. Pray tell me, what is this... Village without Soul, and why is it connected to my friend’s Mother?” The tall Elezen standing before me was impatient. He looked like an experienced warrior of the lance, not a pirate, if the rumors are true. But he knew Shintaro and I had to tell him, and ask where my Lord would be. 

The night falls as I stare to him at the docks and I explain the happenings. Two years ago, when I felt that I was ready to become my Lord’s retainer, I started my search for him. I wandered through the hills of Yanxia, until I reached the southern parts. The Tenryuu Estate was located there, hidden and secluded from the outsiders. Only the best warriors would find them. And still.

“It was nothing. Nothing but ashes surrounding the place.”

“This part I know well. Shintaro had to escape because the garleans razed the estate. His mother was the one that secured his flee by sacrificing herself, distracting the attackers.”

“Hm. This is interesting, so that’s why he is alive now. But here’s the strangest trait: the people there.”

“People? What do you mean, there were other survivors?”

“You could say that. When I saw the first of them, I hid myself inside the old shrine and started to observe their daily lives.”

I tell the Elezen captain about how they were lifeless. They were only workers in a daily life without rest, picking wood, clay, and rebuilding slowly the village of the estate. They didn’t eat. They didn’t talk. They didn’t drink. There were no children. They didn’t share eye contact. I could feel that there was something wrong. Something devious, it was like a dark aura surrounding... I swear it was even visible by the night. I ran away, scared. But I remember... the last thing I saw was a person. Someone with noble attires, someone that could be Lady Kaori herself. I tried to talk to her, but... she didn’t look at me. She... didn’t look anywhere. She was lifeless too, like she was without a soul.

“But this was two summers ago. Why are you looking for me now?”

“It was only recently that I discovered that Lord Shintaro was one of your crewmen and that he was coming back to Doma. Since I didn’t see him there, I thought he was dead.”

“How did you know about that? Who told you that?” The elezen seemed startled by the information. I remained calm, although surprised with the reaction.

“I overheard a conversation between two men in Kugane. One of them spoke the name ‘Musume’ too, that was the name of the daughter of the other family of Tenryuu retainers, if I recall correctly. Then they said that it was surprisingly interesting that first both retainers of Lord Hien, Doma’s prince, would come and then one of the heirs of the old Doman Samurai estates would come too. The Tenryuu heir, and the old Forever Blue captain was waiting for him.”

“This means that someone knows he is here. This can be dangerous.” The man put his hand on his chin, pondering. “This information was most helpful, Len. How can I pay you?”

“I...I just need to fulfill my promise to my mother. And for that I need that you take me with you. To stay at Lord Shintaro’s side as his retainer is my family’s purpose, you see, as my parents were his father’s retainers.”

“Hm. Is that so? I can take you with me, but only Shintaro will decide if you are his retainer or not. Pack your bags. Let’s go.” He waves to me to follow his way. I grab my things and the old Naginata. I was finally able to be with my Lord and fulfill my promise, made to my mother many years ago. I couldn’t hide my enthusiasm and smile. “Come on. What are you waiting for?” He beckons again.

“Oh. HAI!” I answer, with heart as light as air, for the first time of my life.

Blood-Club Doll ini merupakan project lanjutan dari live action Blood-C sebelumnya yang berjudul Asura Girl - The Blood-C Ibun yang tayang pada tahun 2017. Para pemeran dalam live action sebelumnya akan kembali berperan dalam film live action terbaru ini, ditambah dengan para pemeran baru.

Film live-action ini akan diproduseri oleh Sennosuke Okumura dan Seiichi Horiguchi.

Blood-C bercerita tentang seorang gadis bernama Saya Kisaragi, yang tinggal di sebuah kota kecil. Saya bertugas untuk menjaga penduduk kota dari serangan monster yang disebut elder bairn. Monster yang suka menganggu penduduk kota dengan memakan manusia. Untuk itu Saya, yang tinggal di kuil bersama ayahnya Tadayoshi, harus membunuh para elder bairn tersebut. Tadayoshi lah yang memberikan katana untuk Saya dalam aksinya. Tadayoshi tahu tugas berat Saya, untuk itu dia selalu menjaga dan mengkhawatirkan Saya.

Serial Blood-C sebelumnya telah mendapatkan adaptasi serial anime televisi pada tahun 2011, serta sekuel film anime-nya yang berjudul Blood-C – The Last Dark tayang pada tahun 2012 silam, yang mana keduanya diproduksi oleh studio Production I.G.

Masih tentang anime Winter 2018 nich guys. "DARLING in the FRANXX" anime Mecha adaptasi dari komik karya Kentaro Yabuki. Anime ini adalah kolaborasi dari studio A-1 dan Trigger, dan akan mulai tayang di jepang pada 13 Januari 2018.

Sinopsis: Anime ini bercerita tentang masa depan, dimana bumi sudah mati dan umat manusia melarikan diri dengan menggunakan benteng bergerak bernama "Plantation". Sebuah fasilitas pelatihan bernama Mistilteinn, yang juga dikenal dengan nama "Birdcage", mengisolasi dan membidik para muridnya untuk bertarung dengan menggunakan mecha bernama Franxx untuk melawan berbagai monster raksasa yang dikenal dengan nama Kyouryuu.

Code:016 "Hiro" adalah pilot jenius yang karena berbagai alasan, penilaian dan harapan dari institusi terhadapnya menurun sehingga dia tidak bisa menaiki Frankxx. Hingga suatu hari dia bertemu dengan gadis bertanduk bernama Zero Two.

Haii Gamezoners !!! ^_^ Kali ini mimin akan mereview movie dari seri anime "Haikara-san ga Tooru" anime yang di adaptasi dari manga "Haikara-san ga Tooru" karya Waki Yamato yang sudah tayang pada tahun 1978-1979. Waaach ... :) Movie pertama berjudul " Gekijouban Haikara-san ga Tooru Zenpen – Benio, Hana no 17-sai" akan tayang perdana pada 11 November 2017 di Jepang, dan Movie kedua berjudul "Gekijouban Haikara-san ga Tooru Kouhen – Tokyo Dai Roman" direncanakan akan tayang pada musin semi 2018 nanti.

Sinopsis: Kisah Haikara-san ga Tooru mengambil setting di Tokyo pada era Taishou (1912-1926) dan mengisahkan mengenai kehidupan Benio “Haikara-san” Hanamura, seorang gadis yang kehilangan ibunya pada usia yang masih muda dan dibesarkan oleh sang ayah yang merupakan seorang petugas berpangkat tinggi di Angkatan Bersenjata Jepang. Sebagai hasilnya, dirinya tumbuh sebagai gadis tomboi, bertolak belakang dengan adat Jepang yang mengedepankan sosok feminim. Dirinya mempelajari kendo, minum sake, dan kerap berpakaian ala Barat ketimbang mengenakan kimono. Dia tidak tertarik mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah dan lebih tertarik dengan literatur. Dia juga menolak konsep perjodohan dan percaya bahwa wanita punya hak untuk meniti karir dan menikahi orang yang ia cintai.
