The tour continued today, with the penultimate round of Best Of The Super Juniors 28′s group stage. Ironic since today ended the Champions League’s group stage, but that’s for another podcast I do. The show was not live on NJPWWorld, but the matches will arrive on tape delay, likely tomorrow.

Both Hiromu and Despy win, whilst SHO loses yet again to lose his top spot. It looks like Hiromu and Despy may make good on their promise after all. YOH is now in the upper reaches, and tied on points with SHO. They face each other in the last round on Saturday. It’s almost like they planned this.

Kosei Fujita wrestled his first NJPW match in front of his home town today, in another time-limit draw.

El Phantasmo is now out. Despy and Hiromu are in the lead to advance to the Final. Despy has ELP on Saturday, Hiromu has Eagles. Eagles beating Hiromu could see him advance. SHO v. YOH is gonna be for pride mostly. Ishimori has Taguchi. I see Taguchi and YOH winning, however it means either Despy or Hiromu have to lose to see them through to the Final. Despy v. Hiromu is a drawing juniors feud, and that will directly lead to the title match at WK16, so I’m safe in predicting that to be the Final.
