a recurring thought I have about grimmichi is Ichigo hanging out with his friends, who are all already in relationships or even married, and the nagging about how “dude, you’re 25 or wtvr, the war’s long over and you’re still single” starts, but Ichigo just very confusedly says “but I’ve been in a relationship for like 5 years now??” and everyone just looks at him with the ‘wtf did you just say???’ eyes.

and as a cherry on top: I don’t think Ichigo would even try to hide the relationship. it’s just that whenever he’s talking about his boyfriend he refers to him by name, because everyone in the friend group already knows Grimmjow anyway, so what’s the point, right? and there’s also no PDA, because Grimmjow hates being around Ichigo’s friends and only ever hangs out with him or the Shouten gang (who obviously knew from the start, bc that’s Urahara and Yoruichi we’re talking about here + grimmichi spar in the bunker a lot and well… things get out of control from time to time).

so yeah, Ichigo being basically married and none of his friends having a clue about it.
