Day 1 of rewatching ajin (ep 1-4)

Kei is way more empathetic than I remember, might be because I always rewatched the episodes wherein he's colder.

"But, wait, if he crashes at this speed, that guy will probably die."

This dude is out for your head and you're worried about accidentally killing him?

Anyone notice how Kei acts way more vulnerable around Kai? No wonder people ship them so hard... Kai is the literal sun, guys. Finds out his childhood friend is in danger and doesn't think twice about going on the run together. The way he beat up all the guys out for Kei's blood with no hesitation? That's love, right there.

"I want to live a quiet, normal life."

"Run, Eriko! A ghost is coming!"

Did you see the way Kei tried to shield his sister with his own body?

He's so much softer than I remember and I think now I ship him with Kai even more...

Kei's sister is weird. She witnesses multiple people getting brutally murdered in front of her, gets kidnapped by the murderers and when they hand her a business card saying they're good guys she just believes them??

Also why does the song at the end of every episode sound like a love song... *cough* Keikai's love song.

SHIPPING TAGS

This is just a pet peeve of mine but I'm very particular about tags when it comes to shipping. I follow the asian (particularly the Japanese and Chinese) style and etiquette of tagging when it comes to shipping which is the top/bottom dynamic (example: WangXian which indicates Lan Wangji as the top and Wei Wuxian as the bottom). This is to avoid what the Japanese fandom call as 'landmines'. Because not everyone likes to see other dynamics when it comes to their ships and I try to do my best to respect that

Which is why I don't like cross tagging when it comes to ships. If I write 'KaiShin' then thats the dynamic you'll get in my posts. I dont like using a ship name as an umbrella term in asian media so if I tag a ship name, it'll be of that a fixed ship dynamic, NOT an all dynamics ship (reversible or switch)

This is mainly for asian media ships (i'm mostly into anime/manga, jdrama and danmei. I haven't read enough manwha though regrettably). For western media, I use the ship names that's commonly used for said ships which is usually that of an umbrella term. Like 'Buddie' (Evan Buckley/Eddie Diaz from 911) for example

Anyways, I just wanted to make it clear for anyone who'd stumble upon my original posts in case anyone is particular about ship tags like me. If I do like a switch or reversible ship though, I'll make sure to tag it (example: sasunarusasu/sns) so dont worry

EDIT:

Recently, I was told in a comment on this post that top/bottom dont exist in real life and shouldn't be applied as such and we should use whatever names we like. I cannot speak for those who are in relationships in real life but from the few people I do know of, top/bottom and versatile preferences do exist and in the end, people's preferences in real life is their own business

These tags however are for fictional ships of fictional characters. The tags are for myself and to anyone else who wishes to use em as a means to curate what they'd want to find or avoid if they ever stumble across my blog. Those who dont like or agree my reason for tagging my ships, thats okay. Tag them howeve you want. People are free to tag their ships however they want and in the end, this is my own way to curate my own blog

If there are those who dont like or agree with the way I tag my ships, then thats okay. Feel free to avoid or block me. Do whatever that you feel that's best for you

However, I am sorry if there's anything that I've written here that irated or offended you. I am, by the end of the day only human

Or a potato as it is, just trying to enjoy my ships and fandoms
