This guys have never looked at the first databook nor payed attention to any of the notes and design concepts Kishi added in the manga. The databook has Hinata’s first design and even says Kishi intended her to be Naruto’s love interest.♥️🥺

Hi I came from your Naruhina Parent criticism post and I have to say I agree. Hinata really lets Naruto get off with not spending time with his kids. Also Naruto is awful for not prioritising his family. I lowkey think he places his family and the village on the same level in his mind. And struggles to make the distinction between them. Family is Village and Village is Family. Which naturally doesn't sit right with Boruto. Naruto should prioritise his family first and then the village. He has a responsibility towards his family as a father. There are other people like Shikamaru to handle village matters as and when needed.

Thank you! That post started off as a mad rant and someday I'll work on a cohesive meta post about it (it might take long because unfortunately, NH family dynamic reminded me so much of my own).

You're right, anon. Hinata is lenient towards Naruto's behavior. My two cents on that matter and I'll speak on hypotheticals so take it with a grain of salt: I think it's because at some point, Hinata perceived Naruto as a hero who saved her from bullies (when I found out about this in The Last movie, I couldn't help but do a bombastic side eye at everyone involved in that movie) so there's an implication of hero worship there--introducing the part where our heroes can do no wrong and/or overlooking their flaws--and unfortunately, it's plausible due to the consistency of Hinata not addressing the issue.

About Naruto being awful for not prioritizing his family, unfortunately, true. However, he's not the scum awful type. From the way I see it, he's overcompensating. Being Hokage was his dream and he finally achieved it but the position was the means to get the villagers' acknowledgement. Naruto never really got the chance to work around his issues and trauma. It's realistically reflected on his work ethics as Hokage. The whole "everyone in the village is my family" shtick would make sense of Naruto didn't marry. It's the same line of belief that the Third Hokage had and his relationship with Asuma hadn't been smooth sailing--I've observed the same thing with Naruto and Boruto as well.

And the last sentence reminded me of Naruto being hyperindependent. That man got clones running around the village to do errands--part of the grand overcompensating scheme. I swear, Itachi called Naruto out about it in the war arc and told him that he shouldn't do everything by himself and it's okay to depend on your friends. With the way that the sequel conveniently threw everything under the rug, it's evident that they did not take that small detail into consideration.

I'm glad that somehow the NH, the kids, and their household situation isn't as triggering like the first part of that series (some of it are fillers, the point still stands) but NH aren't ready to be parents by all means. That entire Boruto thing was resolved with Sasuke in the picture which is amusing but the issue wouldn't grow that big if Hinata had done something.

I believe that in the anime "Boruto" nothing is original. All just a rip-off of "Naruto". Nothing interesting.. Another formulaic story.

His shoulder was hurting more than usual today and despite his best attempts at masking it, he wasn't all that great at hiding discomfort when not in his Rage state. He tried to shrug it off at first; he just slept on it funny that's all - but as the day progressed, it became more noticeable that it wasn't just stiffness.

He had forgotten his cloak on the riverbank, hoping to go fetch it before Vaishant noticed anything off... but the Aasimar was more perceptive than Wahi had given him credit. It didn't take long to notice It. He didn't put up much of a fight, instead choosing to simply sink to the floor with knees to his chest as he felt his companion's finger scan the massive crater that was once his left trap.

"It was my first time being the captain of a hunting party. I was really excited, the chieftain finally saw my potential and I was determined not to screw it up. I guess that sort of blinded me, though, because I ended up going off the pre-planned route and wandered into giant territory. I don't mean another tribe of slightly bigger Goliaths, I mean.." he made a vague gesture with his other arm. "Actual big, huge giants. We got ambushed by Isejotunen -- I mean Frost Giants, sorry -- we got ambushed and in an attempt to protect my party I took a war axe pretty badly."

I used to hate myself for what happened, but looking back on it now... if I hadn't made that mistake, I never would have met my best friend. That's you, by the way. So I guess Kavaki was right, everything worked out eventually. I can't be too mad anymore. I don't know if they'll ever take me back if I get strong again, but I can prove to someone that I'm not useless. If you'll let me, I mean."

Naruto is the protagonist the series was named after him and Hinata was always meant to be his love interest. He would have ended up with Hinata no matter what happend it was pretty much set in stone when Hinata was introduced.

It 2022 and people still hate Hinata because she is house wife. Please antis stop with the hypocrisy is not become her weak. i am not good at this kind of stuff I am gonna apologise for the bad typing in advance... But when I lurk into this fandom takes on Hinata it can get very sad, first of all I know it’s just a small part of the fandom but the things I read are very not cool, going to the point Hinata is NOT a weak person period, she is still a very good ninja at combat she just choose to stay at home and raise her kids that makes her happy! I have never seen Hinata as happy as she is now she loves her family she takes care of them she gives (and Naruto too ofc) a life to Hima and Boruto that she and her husband didn’t have she is always there for her loved ones... and some people still put her life choices down or make fun of her like “bla bla she is just a housewife” or other stuff alike is so freaking nonsense... if everyone on their universe have “just a housewife” of a mother like Hinata there would be no so many tragic pasts. You know why? Because Hinata gives love and a quality life for her kids she is a good mother a good wife an amazing ninja and I think her life choices are just as strong and as important as any other woman on the village because all of them are living their best life in their own way, all of them are doing their best and living their best. people make different choices doesn’t make anyone inferior nor superior, what matters is that those awesome women, and make no mistake Hinata is totally included on this, are strong loving and caring for their kids their husbands and their village! Hinata’s role is important, I think she is a noble soul and I won’t ever understand the bashing.There’s literally nothing wrong with her life choices and being a housewife! NaruHina was never forced, they had their moments from start to finish they may be subtle, but it was still quite clear NaruHina was always end game Kishimoto even states he planned NaruHina since early on several times.

Naruto and Hinata actually had a wedding, they were around and happy their whole house is full of pictures with both Naruto, Hinata, Boruto and Himawari as happy as can be. Lol you wrong is Sasuke that not happy in family with Sakura

In the recent days I’ve really been having a naruhina hate brainrot. I’ve actually always disliked that pair since the first days I started watching this anime. But the more I think about this ship and the more I dislike it and see less reasons to enjoy it.

Yeah I used to ship ss in the past, because even if Sasuke never has been interested at least he was Sakura’s teammate and had plenty of missions together. (Well I learnt from my mistakes but that’s not the topic of this post!)

However, what do Naruto and Hinata have seriously? For being characters who got married and one of them being the mc their interactions were barely existent and Naruto having basic human decency toward her isn’t a proof of him having romantic feelings. I still literally can’t picture him being on a relationship with her either, no matter how much I try. I always used to find this ship painfully bland, boring, tasteless. I would rate it a solid 1/10 at best, and I’m on a good mood rn.

I got spoiled very early that they were going to be together at the end and even despite that when I watched the last episodes it blew my mind when I saw them going to be married all of sudden. It was so hard to believe. If they were so planned to be together since the beginning they could’ve at least given them some development idk it’s not even that complicated I don’t ask Kishimoto to write peak romance. Don’t even talk to me about "The Last" lol that movie is just laughable. It’s basically Naruto into a genjutsu and Sakura forcing him, guilt tripping him to love Hinata and telling him how much "he deserves her". No sorry but I can’t take this sh*t seriously.

Another thing, when I still was into the first episodes of the series I used to think that Hinata will have a development, she will be strong and all but I was apparently wrong as hell because she’s just as pointless, irrelevant but more annoying and her whole existence stills revolve around N-Naruto-kun 🥺👉👈. The shippuden era was the moment when she seriously started to get on my nerves. She reached a new low when Neji frustratingly f*cking died for her the the only thing she was thinking about was N-Naruto-kun’s big warm and manly hand. The audacity lmao. I would be so ashamed to myself at her place. Also there’s nothing wrong with her being a housewife, raising kids is far from being an easy task by the way but she could’ve at least done something for her clan as the "Hyuga princess", especially about the oppression and slavery that endured the secondary branch through generations and that caused the death of her cousin in front of her. But no, she got married to N-Naruto-kun, so it doesn’t matter, damn why am I even surprised, that was the only goal of her life anyway. That cute uwu girl’s """"development"""" disappointed me a lot, to say the least, I saw a lot of potential in her not gonna lie.

Poor her, she existed only for the sake of a ship that happened just for the dull sequel also more commonly known as "Boruto".

Weapons loaded and friends by our sides, the largest force of Guardians in our history made the journey to Earth’s moon. There was even an unofficial sort of campaign anthem that sprang up in rousing chorus in bars and barracks and even over the radiowaves in those final moments before landing.

“It’s complicated,” human Jake finished in what mK’Umila had been informed was an ‘apologetic’ tonal distortion.

But since humans are super hard to kill and try to be friends with everything, a common unspoken rule in space is that if a human is afraid, you better be pissing yourself in fear.

So the crew hears a scream from the quarters, and a crew member rushes to see what’s happening.

“Human Jane, what’s the problem? Are you hurt!?”

and she just fukin shrieks “SPIDERRRRRRR!!!!!” and everyone goes batshit insane and spiders are cataloged as extremely dangerous death creatures.

But then on another ship, a human crew member asks if they can bring a small pet, and it is approved as long as the human can prove that it’s not dangerous.

So they pull like a tarantula out of its little cage and let it crawl all over them and the other crew members stare in horror as the human just pets their eight-legged death beast and coos at it like a baby.
