Woah who’s this guy

Katherine Ravenwhisper, a 14 year old Thaumaturge hailing from Wintertusk. Her mother is a human mage, raised in a small village of Ravens, and her Father is a cat and a trader hailing from Marleybone.

Katherine is bright eyed and bushy tailed in every possible definition. Young and eager to prove herself, she was overjoyed when her application to study magic in Ravenwood was accepted, having glimpsed the school when assisting Baldur, her father’s coworker, set up trade routes. Still, she won’t forget her roots in Grizzleheim’s runic magics, or the Raven’s own brand of spellweaving.

Be kind to her, she’s young, and hasn’t had to come to terms with killing anyone yet. Though Marleybone is… not quite what she expected. Why is everyone so … rude? Certainly her papa isn’t like that.

She was raised in a small, religious village in the outskirts of Hrundle Fjord - close by Grandmother Raven Herself. As is customary, as a newborn she was taken to Raven’s tree to ask for good fortune and witness the thread of her fate be woven into the tapestry. Raven herself took notice of the glittering thread - that of her future champion, and gave a blessing - this child would fly far, always safe under Her wing. Katherine’s always felt a special connection with the Deity, and finds great comfort in her worship.

She's friendly and outgoing, if a bit naive. Grizzleheim’s culture of proving one’s mettle has rubbed off on her, and she’s eager to make a name for herself and accept any favor or quest. She’s certain she can make a positive difference in the world. She really enjoys fishing, its peaceful, and she loves seafood!

Her magical focus is parting gift and blessing from her mother, a small wand carved with the shape of a raven, protective runes etched into the base.
