Gio olhou para Kath como se ela tivesse duas cabeças. "Por que eu não me preocuparia com você?" Indagou meio desacreditado. Qualquer pessoa se preocuparia, ainda mais pelo estado de embriaguez que ela se encontrava. Apertou seus olhos ao ouvir a frase da loira, tentando entender de onde ela tinha tirado Shakespeare daquela conversa, e mesmo assim achando tudo muito interessante. "Pois tá certo! Diz, você curtiu a festa? Ou se afogou em bebida porque tava achando tudo um porre?" Achava difícil alguém não gostar de uma festa dada pelo ilustríssimo James Halpert Potter e Katherine também não tinha muita cara de quem não era fã de festas. Na verdade, Giorgian conseguia ver perfeitamente a loira em diversas festas diferentes - será que ela curtia um pagode? Balançando a cabeça, ele deu um leve peteleco na testa dela. "Você é um demônio por acaso? Se bem que esses dias eu bem vi mesmo um filme com uma feira possuída que parecia mesmo você..." emendou pensativo, inclinando a cabeça como se olhar para Kath fosse ajudar. "You think I have a beautiful smile, princess?" Provocou, logo em seguida ficando confuso ao ver Kath pegando suas coisas e sair andando. Dando tchau para o barman - muito gente fina, Gio foi atrás da loira. "Calma ai, miss simpatia!" Segurou o braço dela.

Normalmente Katherine sabia muito bem o seu limite alcoólico. Afinal, não era mais uma adolescente. Mas naquele dia as coisas pareciam intensas e sensíveis demais. Desde que havia conhecido Giorgian sentia que as coisas em si não eram mais as mesmas, e conforme seus encontros eventuais iam acontecendo, Katherine sentia que tudo ia piorando. No seu ponto de vista. Agora estava ali, pensando em quantas vezes se pegou o encarando do outro lado do cassino. Reparando nos botões abertos de sua camisa e o corrente prateada em torno de seu pescoço. Toda vez que se pegava naquela mesma posição, sentindo sua pele esquentar, Katherine tomava outra bebida, e assim foi. Até que quando se deu conta, estava ao lado dele, mais bêbada do que deveria. "Hey you." Disse antes de chamar um garçom. "Duas tequilas. Uma pra mim e outra pro meu amigão aqui."
