Anarkali Salwar Suit vs. Kashmiri Suits: A Tale of Elegance and Heritage
When it comes to ethnic wear, the fashion landscape offers a delightful array of choices, with Anarkali Salwar Suits and Kashmiri suits standing out as timeless classics. Let’s explore the nuances that distinguish these two exquisite styles, considering design, type, craft, and the choices they present to fashion enthusiasts.
Design:
Anarkali Salwar Suits: Anarkali suits are renowned for their floor-length, frock-style kameez that exudes grace and fluidity. The silhouette is characterised by a fitted bodice that gradually flares out into voluminous pleats, creating a regal and elegant appearance. Anarkali Salwar designs often feature intricate embroidery, sequins, and other embellishments, making them a popular choice for festive occasions and celebrations.
Kashmiri Suits: On the other hand, Kashmiri suits boast a distinctive charm rooted in the artistic traditions of the region. The kameez in Kashmiri suits is often adorned with the intricate hand embroidery known as “Kashida.” The designs reflect the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir, incorporating motifs inspired by nature, Persian influences, and traditional patterns. Kashmiri suits are a testament to meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Type:
Anarkali Salwar Suits: Anarkali suits are versatile and can be worn for various occasions, from weddings to formal gatherings. They offer a flattering silhouette that suits a range of body types, and the flowing silhouette adds a touch of glamour to any event.
Kashmiri Suits: Kashmiri suits, with their rich embroidery and luxurious fabrics, are often considered more formal attire. They are a symbol of cultural pride and are commonly chosen for special occasions where traditional elegance is paramount.
Craft:
Anarkali Salwar Suits: Crafted with a focus on flowy fabrics and intricate embellishments, Anarkali suits showcase a blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. The craftsmanship often involves fine thread-work, sequins, and zari, contributing to the overall grandeur of the outfit.
Kashmiri Suits: The craft of Kashmiri suits revolves around the exquisite “Kashida” embroidery design. Skilled artisans meticulously create intricate patterns using colourful threads, resulting in a garment that is not only visually stunning but also a testament to the time-honoured craftsmanship of the region.
Choices:
Anarkali Salwar Suits: Anarkali suits offer a broad spectrum of choices in terms of fabrics, colours, and designs. Whether you prefer a simple, elegant look or a heavily embellished ensemble, Anarkali suits cater to a wide range of preferences.
Kashmiri Suits: Kashmiri suits, with their emphasis on traditional embroidery and patterns, provide a distinctive choice for those who appreciate the artistic richness of Kashmir. The choices extend to the type of embroidery, motifs, and the overall aesthetic, allowing wearers to make a statement steeped in cultural heritage.

All these idiots yapping about Palestine like they're the saviours of mankind and Palestine and patting themselves for hating Noah. (Go ahead. Hate him actually. I hate people for how they wear their hair. Fair enough. And I'm not here nor there on my guess on him being an actual Zionist) But can y'all just not pretend this oooh disappointment is deep? Like please? Can y'all like maybe not reduce it to a teen actor visiting a place and posting about it. Like that's absolutely the worst thing to have happened to Palestine. Whether he posts or not, Jewish people are gonna be visiting Israel. Cuz their holy land is in Israel. Which is why this outcry is fucking stupid and THE BIGGEST EXAMPLE of dumb hoes virtue signaling. Y'all stupid for putting this energy into hating a Jewish guy visiting Israel. They aren't even the largest contributors to its tourism. Y'all dumb bitches need to look at the followers of Christ for that. More than half of the total visitors in some years. But y'all wont. Cuz I see your ass. It's just waiting to shit on Jews and Jews alone. Especially to that one self righteous bitch who is screenshotting other's people's post and calling them dumb. Check yourself. N then check Google for other places EXACTLY in the situation of Palestine. But not glamorous enough for your shiny bleeding heart to post about. Also they have celebs you can shit on for visiting those places. Just so you'd maybe wanna talk about it. Fucking a-holes sermonising about brown people rights when it fucking suits their own skin tone.
"He needs to tell people he's not a Zionist." Ya well everyone going to Saudi needs to scream and shout that they do not support Saudi terror funding and their treatment of migrants. Everyone going to Kashmir must scream and shout that hey we're here for the Kashmiris and not for the occupier forces. Anyone visiting China must also wear a Free Tibet and Free Turkestan shirts. And the whole of the descendants of white colonisers need to tell people you're not a racist, supporter of eco-terrorism, exceptional, bigot, islamophobe, antisemite (funny how both apply), pro-life, anti-black people everytime you visit the corner cafe and post about it on insta. Ya that app owned by that bugger who wanted to take away free internet from brown countries. ("bUt iT's nOt OngOiNg tHo....." bro we're still reeling from that shit and it hasn't even been 100 years so please don't. Neither did that dumb dead hoe Lizzie nor her older than jesus son Charlie who loves to fancy dress has so much as even apologised. Refused to apologise in fact).
Pat yourselves on the back. You fought Zionism with antisemitism and homophobia.
#yes this is a hate post#for people who only talk about shit when it suits them bt also using the lamest frickin point of offense#there were those bitches who thought muslims and Palestinians were interchangeable#noah schnapp#DNI if you're a fucking zionist#DNI if you hate Jews#DNI if you hate Muslims#byler#<cuz u those hoes

One thing about the "free Kashmir" thing that these leftists say is that they always talk about how the people living in Kashmir should get to decide where they want to go (between India and Pakistan). And I actually kind of agree with the general sentiment, that the people should get to decide. But it's also so so common with these people to ignore, dismiss, downplay and even flat out deny the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus, and not a mention is made of them getting to return to their homes. They talk about self-determination but don't raise a peep about the indigenous population who were driven out also getting a say in the matter.
They don't actually want self-determination; they don't care about letting those who deserve to speak up have a voice and a say. They just hate Hindus. If they really cared, they would also talk about how important it is for Kashmiri Hindus to have a say in what happens to their home, where they lived for years before they were driven out. I'm not saying that it's the average person in Kashmir's fault that this happened to the Pandits, nor am I saying that Kashmir isn't their home, or that they don't have a say in the matter, but the tunnel vision and the selective mentality is appalling.
They love to talk about how the people living in Kashmir should decide, but when someone brings up the fact that the indigenous population was driven out and also gets a say in the matter... crickets. They don't actually want the victims of this genocide to have a voice, they don't want them to have a say in the matter because it wouldn't suit them. They are the ones who don't want an integral part of the population to have a say in matter regarding their original home before they were driven out by the militants some of these leftists call revolutionaries. And they dare to call themselves progressive. Shame.
Finally, a refreshing ask. Thank you, anon
This is what we have been trying to say forever. they're all for screaming "free Kashmir" but if Kashmir DOES separate from India, we 100% know militants will jump on it. and then also, what of the Kashmiri Pandits who wish to return home? Will the militants allow that?
It's typical leftist behaviour these days, to find a cause and leap on board, sometimes not even knowing WHO you're supporting or WHY you're protesting. For example, I've seen videos of people not even knowing where Palestine or Israel are on the map but they have Hamas bands on their heads and "free Palestine" on a loop in their throats.
How much shouting will convince you you're right?

Dq is bae huh? You watched one movie and act like you are some diehard kinda fan lmao. If SitaRamam didn't push the hindutva agenda but had a Muslim lead and Hindu princess I am sure you would be crying love jihad. You are telugu so ofc you are gonna act like its normal. Yall are the most gullible lot of the dravidian lands. I am glad that madness hasn't reached Kerala atleast. How many malayalam movies of dq have you watched even? I see none on your blog. Selective fangirling is real pathetic lmao. Also if you were gonna lie atleast make it believable. How does an Indian have pakistani teachers lol? You bringing up nfak is like how white people say "I cant be racist, I listen to black singers all the time"
Yes, dulquer salmaan is bae. You can't be more wrong, I have watched too many dq movies to count, I won't waste time listing them all here. I dont post everything I watch. Suit yourself with the assumptions.
Anon I can laugh off most of your ignorance but Sita Ramam slander is not tolerated on my blog. Tell me you didn't understand the movie without telling me you didn't understand the movie. No I wouldn't have cried love jihad if the movie with the Muslim lead and the Hindu princess followed the exact same storyline EXACT SAME. In that case I would have loved Fatima and Ali the same as I loved Sita and Ram.
I am not Telugu, funny you would assume that although I can see why. If you scroll through my blog though you will find Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, possibly one Kashmiri post and more. And none of the languages I mentioned are my mother tongues. So keep guessing.
Also, you hating on two entire states and a whole community? The blatant superiority complex and hate towards telugu people radiating in your sentence is so low. To be comfortable in your own skin and not compromise on your way of life isn't madness anon. Decolonise your mind. Kerala is a beautiful state and so is Andhra and Telangana. A lot of Telugu people live in Kerala and many Malyalis live in the telugu heartlands. Both of those linguistic families are a pride for the country so stop with your political divide. I don't even understand why you are bringing such random energy on my blog cuz I have never posted any proper political commentaries on my blog.
I can choose what to fangirl over. If I wanna obsess over dq for a month I will do it. You are probably new. My mutuals know how I post about the one same thing on a stretch for a while and then find something new and keep posting that instead. Selective fangirling isn't pathetic anon, you are.
I did not lie. I don't need to prove anything. Maybe consider that some Indians probably live in neutral countries where they interact with the rest of the world. Hence the pakistani teachers.
Fallacies bestie, all your fallacies are laughable. My point was, I appreciate all things good while taking pride in my own identity. I can post about Krishna and Dulquer salmaan in the same blog.
Your rant was very useless but I wanted to answer it anyways. There's more anons from you but i won't be answering anymore. I will just delete them.
@shut-up-rabert ye lo bhoi, maze le lo
