Nordwand, Karin Goeppert
Another one of my mountain series. A bright beautiful work on paper that depicts a mountainous landscape . Just looking at it you can feel the crisp, clear air. This time I worked with Schmincke gouache and a touch of acrylic on artist quality watercolour paper. For a bit of texture I added some sand. The work in inches is 11.8 x 15.7.

Kew, Karin Goeppert
A beautiful bright floral mixed media abstract painting on self stretched canvas. The colors suggest a feeling of fresh plants and flowers. This abstract is a mixed media painting for which I used acrylic colors and oil pastels. For protection I sealed it with a glossy varnish. The sides of the canvas are painted accordingly, that means red and orange. The work is signed on the front. I added a professional hanger so you just need a nail to hang it on the wall. The work is 50 x 50 x 1.5 cm/19.7 x 19.7 x 0.6 in.

Mary's Cave, Karin Goeppert
Mary's Cave is a bold, colourful acrylic paint in the street art, urban style. It reminds of art in the subway and graffiti. The main colours are pink, yellow green, black and white with a touch of green. I painted on brown craft paper which I did not completely cover with paint so it gives the work depth. This painting is in inches 19.7 x 27.6. It is protected by a matt varnish. I painted Mary's Cave with acrylics and spray paint.

Harbinger, Karin Goeppert
"Harbinger" is a large abstract landscape painting. Because of its warm colors and form it reminds of fall. It also has something mysterious about it. I worked with many watercolor-like glazes to give the background depth. The painting is signed on the front. The sides are white with traces of the development of the painting. To protect it against UV-rays and dust I sealed it with a mat varnish. The work is ready to hang. I applied a hanger on the back. The size is 120 x 100 x 1.5 cm / 47.24 x 39.4 x 0.6 in

Eveninglake, Karin Goeppert
A small abstract piece which I started with an underpainting of coffee. It gives a nice warm tone. It still can be seen in the very light parts of the painting. I took a free-association approach to the work, that is, I let the work take me where it wanted to go. I used, as I said, coffee, acrylic colours on artist quality watercolour paper. The work in inches is 7.7 x 11.6, it is signed on the back. There is a 1 cm border around the painting. With the mat the work is 30 x 40 cm (11.8 x 15.7 inches) I sell the painting with a matching off-white mat. If you have any questions please contact me through Saatchi.

Waterborn, Karin Goeppert
"Waterborn" is an abstract take on a creek, a little brook in a forest. It was inspired by a hike in the mountains. The water was glimmering and glittering, sparkling. I painted this work with artist quality acrylic paint on canvas. The work is ready to hang. I added hooks to the back. So you will just need two nails. To protect the work against UV-rays and dust I sprayed it with a mat varnish. The sides of the canvas are painted in white. The size is 120 x 100 x 1.5 cm / 47.24 x 39.4 x 0.6 in

Marrakech - Gardenfever series, Karin Goeppert
This is a work which is part of my Gardenfever series. The colours are inspired by a garden in Marrakech - so I called it "Marrakech". Big beautiful abstract flower painting. The sides of the canvas are painted in the colours of this work so the painting is ready to hang without frame. Please have a look at the detail photographs. Because of the stunning colours and its size it looks great on the wall. The painting is ready to hang with picture wire between two folding eyelet/pointed hangers. Please have a look at the detail photographs. The work in inches is 39.4 x 31.5 x 0.7 If you have any questions about this work please contact me through Saatchi. I am happy to answer your questions.

Junglelife, Karin Goeppert
For this work I used waterbased oil colors. The colors are bright and inviting to stroll through this jungle. You get a feeling of nature and flowers. Around the actual image is a 1 cm (0,39 in) rim. To protect the work against dust and UV rays I sealed it with a mat varnish. The work in inches is 18,11 x 13,39. Room view might not be at exact scale!

Maremma, Karin Goeppert
An impression of Tuscany! Bright and muted reds, warm yellow-green, a bit of blue and black - these are the colours of this landscape in Tuscany - and of this work. For texture I added some ashes to the ink as you can see in the detail photographs. The painting is sealed with professional varnish, the sides of the canvas are painted in white. The work is signed on the front. I added a professional hook so it is ready to hang. In inches the work is 19.7 x 15.7 x 0.6

Look me in the Eye, Karin Goeppert
An almost monochrome painting in the main colours of blue and white with a touch of lilac. It is a large painting in the abstract expressionistic manner. The white colour gives contrast. I painted "Look me in the Eye" on a deep 4.5 cm (1.8 inch) canvas. The sides of the canvas are painted white. I added professional hooks on the back so it is ready to hang on a wall where it is a real eyecatcher. In inches the work is 39.4 x 31.5 x 1.8.

Sils Maria, Karin Goeppert
This actually belongs to my mountain series. Off and on I will go back to it. This is a work in many layers with quite a bit of texture as you can see in the detail pictures. I worked very informally but still wanted to have a slight representation of a mountain landscape. I used some oil pastel to add marks. In the end I added a free-flowing, gestural line over the existing artwork. The work is mainly in blue, with some white, off-white and a small touch of green. The village of Sils Maria is embedded in a spectacular landscape in Switzerland. Mainly in autumn clouds weave into the valley giving the impression of a snake. The sides of the canvas are painted in dark-blue. I added a fixture at the back of the canvas so it is ready to hang without a frame. The work in inches is 23.6 x 19.7 x 0.6

The scary Climb, Karin Goeppert
In this artwork I am playing with my feelings for the mountains and the colours. Even though the work is small it makes quite an impression on the wall because of its vibrant, bright colours. The idea was to show movement in the work as well as steepness of the mountains. The work is sealed with a glossy varnish and the size in inches in 11.8 x 15.7 x 0.1.

Midnight Stroll, Karin Goeppert
Another "Earth" painting. Again I used first ink over gesso on cotton rag paper. Please see the detail photographs for the texture. After the ink had dried I put gouache on and rubbed free the underlying ink and put gouache on again to get an intricate structure. The colours are warm and beautiful, earthy with hints of subdued brightness. I sell "Midnight Stroll" inclusive a white mat! The work in inches is 7.9 x 7.9

Spring Sessions IV, Karin Goeppert
Aren't we all waiting for Spring? I do for sure! I can't wait to see bright colours hidden in green gras, maybe a dash of a spring sprinkle - and after it everything is even more glowing. My Spring Sessions pictures I painted in this sentiment! Anticipating! Knowing that our longing will be fullfilled very soon. I painted this work with acrylic colours and spray paint. The sides of the canvas are painted white. In inches the work is 19.7 x 27.6 x 0.6. The work is ready to hang. I added a professional hanger on the back of the canvas. So all that is needed is a nail.

Synthesis, Karin Goeppert
Synthesis is a lively, colourful painting on high quality watercolour paper in the main colours of green, magenta and blue. It reminds of a happy spring dance, a warm season. The painting is 47 x 62 cm (18.5 x 24.4 inches) with a clean, white rim of 1.5 cm (0.6 inches) around the painting. For protection it is sealed with a artist quality glossy varnish.

Precarious, Karin Goeppert
Precarious is a mixed media painting with lots of texture in the main colours of black and white, with brown, light blue, orange, a touch of pink and gold. For the brown I used bitumen because it is a wonderful soft, warm brown. I worked on a artist quality canvas board so the work needs a small frame around it to be ready to hang. As texture I used some newspaper, linen and crumbled silk paper. Because of the strong forms the painting has a great presence in a room. The work in inches is 23.6 x 31.5 and I sealed it with a mat varnish. I signed it on the front. The back is as well signed and dated. The frame in the home context photo is just an example. It is not included in the price.
