Behind the scenes:

In a scene that ran just before the cancellation announcement—during the [Brian] Rubenstein-penned sixth episode, “Never Block Cookies”—Eliza goes over to Henry’s house and confronts him. They wind up having an intimate moment where he grabs her around the waist, leading to an almost-kiss that’s one of the most smoldering moments in sitcom history. Rubenstein remembers that moment in particular: “Emily [Kapnek] came down and was sort of orchestrating how that whole thing would go. Just the chemistry between those two was really cool to watch; it felt that way on set.”

Nebula would be very distant in the beginning

She wouldn’t be used to signs of affection physical or otherwise

She would be extremely self conscious about her scars

So she would think that you were lying when you called her beautiful

Especially when she saw it next to you and she thought about how much better than her you deserved

When you kissed the first time she didn’t know what to do

She wouldn’t understand you calling her by nicknames

“Neb?”

“It’s faster than saying Nebula.”

“I hate it. Don’t say it again.”

But that didn’t stop you of course

And she secretly loved it because nobody had ever used one on her before

Since parts of her were replaced with machinery she has places with reduced sensitivity (as well as none whatsoever)

She would tell you where she could feel the most so you could leave kisses there

She would be so gentle with you

But she would also want you to be able to defend yourself

So she would train you in your spare time

She would keep all of her things very organized and be annoyed if you made a mess

She wouldn’t be able to stay mad at you though

She would be quieter than you so she would like listening to you talk for as long as you wanted

She would love listening to you read to her so she could just close her eyes and listen to your voice

When she got accustomed to physical affection she would realize that she was touch starved

That means you two would get to cuddle at every opportunity

During the hiatus before filming 'The Time of the Doctor', Matt Smith starred in Lost River, which required a buzz cut, and him to shave off his iconic quiff.

As it had not grown back in time for his return to the show, he had to wear a wig for his final episode, identical to his normal hairstyle. Steven Moffat had joked that Matt was "under strict instructions to sit down, ball up his fists, and grow a quiff. But he let me down."

Ironically, Karen Gillan, who has a cameo at the end, also had to wear a wig, as she had to shave her own head for Guardians of the Galaxy.

She has often joked of her regret that the two couldn't "swap wigs" during the scene.
