Your drawings are something else in good way. I understand that right now you are more into COD, but can we expect some KapGlaz arts in the future? Last one was 7 months ago. I don't usually ship characters, but you are one of few reasons why I made second exclusion in my life. As a Russian man, I really want more those handsome Russian men loving each other in my feed.

I do think I'll occasionally doodle KapGlaz although it's bound to be rarer given that I'm not a proficient artist at all and I can only muster the energy to make one doodle per week, so I tend to focus on what fuels me the most at the moment.

... But my love for these two is absolutely intact. I doodled them upon answering this ask and it's not much, but drawing them - by memory - feels like eating your favourite dish you haven't tasted in years. Anyway. thanks again - береги себя!)😌

Glaz and Kapkan playing Warhammer, anyone? Or maybe collecting at least. Imagine Maxim one day entering Timur's room and seeing him painting something so small, that he can't see what exactly it is. He just knows it's way different against great canvases his man normally uses.

Maxim comes closer and gives his lover a hug from behind, while he rests his head upon Tim's shoulder, watching what he's doing.

I was tagged almost a month ago for wip wednesday by @r6shippingdelivery and never made good on it [ for many reasons ] but today I DO

kapglaz + muze, kind of plot relevant, snippet of a canon-divergent AU where the Coliseum never happened but Nighthaven still gets involved for different, yet just as shady, reasons

"What do you think of that Danish fellow?" Mark closed his laptop as he asked. He'd leaned back and taken his glasses off, so he had to squint slightly to make out the way Timur's face scrunched, which seemed to get a laugh out of the sniper. "Ace, I think?"

"I would refrain from insulting the young man, that is all." The sniper lifted his glass to his lips as he sighed. "I don't like the fact they know so much about us already."

"Men who are not troubled by thoughts should not be trusted with them," Shuhrat said as he took his seat next to Mark. He'd delivered the statement with such a dry tone that it took a moment for them to register what he'd said; Maxim's bark of laughter prompted a snicker from Mark and a reluctant yet earnest smile from Timur.

"You're a dick, Shuh." Maxim jabbed a finger at Shuhrat with a wry smile. "That was terrible."

"Kinda right, though."

"Don't encourage it!"

"Mark," Timur cut in with a quiet, serious tone that forced the other three to pay attention, "all jokes aside, do you trust them?"

The silence answered the immediate question, but Mark leaned back against the sofa with his arms crossed as he thought on how to answer. "I want to trust Harry, but this is a gamble in a game we don't know the rules for."

"I didn't ask about Harry."

"Short answer, then; no, I don't trust Nighthaven." After a moment, he unfolded his arms and set his hands on his knees, his eyes suddenly fixated on the glass Timur put down. "Long answer; they're poachers. They're going to try to pull tech and operators out from under Rainbow, and I think I know who they've targeted, who's next, and who's already gone."

"Holy shit, you're on top of it," Maxim muttered quietly, one arm now draped around Timur's shoulders.

"Have to be. It's my job." The Brit squared his jaw and took a quiet breath. "Listen. I know it'll kill Senaviev, but Melkinova is leaving with Nighthaven. I'm sure of it."

"Lena?" Timur nearly kicked the table as he sat upright. "What makes you think-"

"They've got James convinced, too, Tima. Weiss, Melikinova, Porter, Estrada, they're all compromised. They're going to try for Nizan, Al-Hassar, Shuh, and myself." He paused just long enough to reach for his drink and finish it off. "I'll bet money they're going to aim for Bosak."

"Zofia? They would be stupid to try," Maxim grumbled.

"Ela. And I think Shah might've already caught her."

Mark didn't have to squint to recognize concern and discomfort in the eyes of Timur or Maxim, but it was the gentle squeeze Shuh gave his arm that made his shoulders slump. The man wouldn't voice his own concerns, but the fact he was so willing to give physical comfort meant he not only saw the same threat but agreed on the targets.

This is a pretty hard one since I subconsciously draw inspo from different sources

@yosb - Been following since I was like, 10? 11? Absolutely amazing artist, (I remember staring at their Hetalia fanart for hours and trying to draw like them xD) their achievements in the past and the current projects that they do are also so inspiring. She's one of my biggest inspirations into why I'm considering a career in art with law.

@kisamesopelagic - Another artist I've been following since I was a wee lad- There's just something about how they wrote the characters that really drew me in, along with character dynamics. I eat up their comics every time.

@mentoskova - Their illustrations are super cool,I take lot of inspo from how they draw gear. They really make me want to improve.

@cerosin - Fr changed my brain chemistry when it came to writing. Like their headcanons are so well thought out that it motivated me into researching more about the content im drawing and writing about. Plus their lineart is yummy (I recognized them from their KapGlaz art from a few years back so running into them again was super cool)

@sleepyconfusedpotato - Sleepy's oc content and the quality really inspires me to improve!! The amount of work that she put into her oc Jade made me want to do the same with mine :0 Sometimes I forget that her oc isn't an actual character in the game (Activision please change that)

I'll add one that I can think of, which is that although Kapkan likes using long-range weapons himself, when he's with Glaz (who's, if you're unfamiliar, a sniper) he doesn't mind - actually, he LOVES being his spotter. Both of them are very confident in their abilities, and confortable in the focus, silence and trust that it demands.

This one is actually in reference to something I outlined in 2023 but didn't have the time to draft and finish, but I thought it'd be fun to do an Extraction AU what was sort of a mix of shippy and leaning into the existential somewhat eldritch horror. The idea is that they figure out a way to access the Chimera 'neural system' for direct communication, and the ten nights that are detailed each focus on one of ten pairs aboard the Pioneer. How each pair is bracing for what might come when they actually manage to bridge the gap of understanding. For all pairs, there's the question of wha tthe Praetorians really are, and - for one pair in particular - the very personal risk that comes with the experiment.

The pairs highlighted are AshMira, KapGlaz, Thermcher, DocMonty, VigilEcho, SmokeMaestro, CavTwitch, FinkaYing, BanditJaeger, and [ definitely unsurprisingly ] FuseMute. A lot of the focus is on the trauma suffered by REACT operators and how that's handled in their personal lives, along with the heavy question of "when does an operator give up too much", but there's also some theoretical xenobiology going on and some haphazardly tossed together sci-fi fun.

It looks like this particular WIP was an exploration of Team Rainbow operators in romantic relationships being interviewed by Harry for the sake of 'team solidarity'. A way for him to assess whether or not it would interfere with their field work while also getting a glimpse into their more domestic lives and who they are independently. I should get back to this, actually - I think it's something I'd enjoy writing now that I have a clearer grasp of how I write our beloved operators.

I seem to have planned a lot for it, but the only drafted part appears to be KapGlaz, so in exchange for my wordy summaries, have a [very unedited] snippet under the cut!

Mornings were Timur’s favorite. Maxim had gotten up nearly an hour before him as he always did on their days off, and the hunter had taken Annika for her daily morning run. By the time Timur would get out of bed, Maxim would have already made breakfast, most importantly, begun making coffee. Which, of course, was the stage the sniper had reached; the break of dawn had banished any chance of staying in bed with sunlight that streamed through the window, so he had reluctantly climbed out of bed.  He paused long enough to steal one of Maxim’s coats from the chair in the corner of the room and tug it on over his undershirt. Timur claimed that his sentimental nature was limited to memories and a near-perfect visual memory, but the smell that clung to the collar of each coat his lover wore on a regular was one he could never get enough of. It was somewhere between fresh rain and well-loved leather, and Maxim continued to deny such a thing followed him. As expected, his partner was halfway through the morning coffee ritual, with Annika curled up at his feet; she was a lovely Brittany hound, though her age meant she did not get to hunt with Maxim as much as she once did. Maxim himself had stripped himself of the sweat-stained tank top he always wore for a morning run and, much to Timur’s delight, was shirtless and on full display; his tattoos suited him, dark ink against pale skin, thin and elegant lettering mixed into delicate line work, though Glaz wished he could replace the tattoos left behind from Maxim's undercover stint. He wore black sweatpants to keep whatever modesty they pretended to have in their own home, and the sniper could see that the man wore the Rainbow-issued watch on his left wrist, just as Timur did. Timur leaned down to pet the old hound's head and give her an affectionate rub of the ears before he stood and placed a hand on his partner’s shoulder, which only made the hunter hum quietly as he turned to look at the sniper. Bright eyes caught the light, the softness in them undeniable and as smitten as the day they had met. Maxim pressed a kiss to Timur’s cheek that was admittedly more smile than anything else before he pressed a proper kiss to his partner’s lips.
