Ippei Kanie x Ryutaro Arimura and DEMONSTRATIONs

The actor Ippei Kanie (蟹江一平) went to the final show of Ryutaro's 2017「デも/demo」 tour, which has been held on January 23rd at Shinagawa Stellar Ball. Through his Twitter account he shared pics of himself with Ryutaro and the members of Ryutaro's support band DEMONSTRATIONs.

Ippei Kanie is sometimes doing lives with Ryutaro's session band Neji. (ネジ｡).

I enjoyed our precious talk and skillfully prepared by Die okonomiyaki. The sincere feelings towards the v-kei and rock scenes are way hotter than teppanyaki/hot plate.

【Neji. (ネジ｡)】

Neji’s official Twitter account has finally shared their own pictures from the live held on January 5th at Haremame in Shibuya (Tokyo).

Ryutaro appeared under his pseudonym ネジ村ネジ太朗 (Nejimura Nejitarou) in an Oiran-style* outfit together with the actor Kanie Ippei who performed as 蟹江イップラ (Kanie Ippura).

Note: * Oiran (花魁) were high-class courtesans during the Edo period**, a certain class of licensed prostitutes in the brothels of Yoshiwara and the entertainment districts of Edo. Oiran entertained their customers in well-equipped premises and often had several servants who catered to their needs. An everyday sight was the Oiran dōchō (花魁道中), the procession of Oiran in their finest kimono (着物) accompanied by their servants.

Oiran are wearing long-sleeved Kimono and tie their Obi (帯; belt) in front.

【live】 Neji. (ネジ｡)

On December 5th, Ryutaro session band Neji. held their first live of this year under the title 【代官山、迎春、或いは��き語る動物の1月第1木曜日】 (Daikan'yama, Geishun, Aruiwa hiki kataru doubutsu no 1 gatsu dai 1 mokuyoubi) at Haremame in Shibuya (Tokyo).

Once again, the live was split into two parts. In both, Ryutaro appeared under his pseudonym ネジ村ネジ太朗 (Nejimura Nejitarou) and the actor Kanie Ippei as 蟹江イップラ (Kanie Ippura). Kanie-san covered songs by Plastic Tree!
