Nag daman Lila! The poisonous serpent Kaliya wrapped itself around Krushna, trying to squeeze him to death. But Krushna deftly escaped the coils that tried to constrict him and instead danced on the 1000 head of the mighty serpent! Camellias form the lotus pool where this lila takes place. Red camellias evoke the fiery eyes of the serpent, flashing from its 1000 hoods. The blue brocade evokes the coils of the great serpent.

Students of class Nursery and K.G.I celebrated Janmashtami amidst joy and grandeur. Children dressed up in traditional attire and depicted the different phases of Lord Krishna’s life as “Krishna Leela” - Krishna janam, Makhan chori, Kaliya Daman, Govardhan Pooja and Sudama Milan. The ambiance was beautiful and the spirit of festivity was enhanced with Tableau. The celebration that followed was truly entertaining and educating. The purpose of the flamboyant celebration was to inculcate value of sharing, love, bravery, respect and friendship in the students. Everyone was mesmerized with a serene presentation of the little kids. #SPSRN #sagarpublicschoolbhopal #sagarpublicschoolrohitnagar #bestdayboardingschoolinbhopal #cbseschoolinbhopal
