Mikiko disappeared a long time ago and is considered dead by her family, that is until she walks in through the door and uncomfortably settles back in.

There's initially some suspense regarding the mystery of Mikiko's disappearance. And I guess you can call the mood laconic. But overall there is not a lot going on for two hours, mainly it's just talk. You have to be in the mood for that. Or maybe things got lost in transation.

Probably due to budget reasons, but it was still amusing to see them carrying around a puppet prop as a young child.
