Will never not crying at this scene because the way Deva went against his mother's request and straight up walk to Varadha even though his mother was calling for him desperately behind him but he had made up his mind, he couldn't betray his heart that he will give his life away for Varadha's sake because he knows that Varadha needs him more and the way there were so many people around them witnessing this sacred vow and Deva's mother broken tears rolling down her cheek while Varadha choked up with a lump in his throat because he couldn't believe that between his mother and him, Deva would choose him.

This scene reminds me of Rahul's impulsive promise toward Anjali despite he already promised his father before hand that he will not make him shed a tear anymore and will do everything he says but upon seeing Anjali in such a deep sorrow, how could he abandon her in such state just to fulfill his promise to his father? So he chose her because he knows that she needs him the most.

Just like this scene with Varadeva (if Deva could just move closer and put his hand on top of Varadha's head lmao then we will definitely has our own rahul x anjali version 2023 😂)

Even though Varadha always has many people around him but Deva knows that Varadha has always feel so alone in his own palace, surrounded by people who only hates his existence, as Deva's mother was asking him to never step his feet in Khansaar again and forget everything that ever happened in Khansaar, Deva realized if he did that, then he will have to forget Varadha too, and he couldn't do it because Varadha was watching him with sad eyes thinking this was the end of their relationship, the last time that they saw each other, that he should let go of Deva, but then Deva refuse, he rebel against all odds and all the bad circumstances, he tied himself to Varadha stubbornly in sense that he wanted to tell Varadha that no matter how long it take, how far he might go but he will always return to Varadha, so Varadha could have hope and a reassurance in his heart that Deva is always near him and he is never alone..(not to mention the electrocution scars on Deva's palm look like a blood on his palm when he raised it in front of Varahda making it look like he just cut his palm open so he could make an unbreakable blood oath to Varadha, this movie really went hard as hell in making sure that Deva and Varadha are twice intertwined in marriage to each other.)
