'Akasaka specifically said that kaguya is not a system' akasaka is wrooong, we see multiple different alters fronting both openly (bakaguya fronting due to emotional stress and chika being excited to see her bcos she knows who bakaguya is) and masking that they're fronting (the ice kaguya arc iirc), we see them interact in an inner world shaped like a courtroom, the alters we see fit pretty well into common roles (ice kaguya = persecutor, kid kaguya = little, bakaguya = protector), like. I'm not a system so I cant speak but pretty glaringly Yeah That's a System

Also its been too long since my kaguyasama days to expand on it thoroughly but. Mp100 kaguyasama crossover. Currently I just see in my brain kaguya and mob shaking hands and saying 'we are not systems, stop asking'

I think I'm going to have to do more sprites than just three. Children can be remarkably expressive. Except for Geumsaegi. I like the joke of him always having the same stoic expression.

Kinda like I originally imagined Scout Goseumdouchi before. Now he's just chill all the time. I got to make a post sometimes about my head cannon for the two Goseumdouchi's. A big inspiration for them was Griffith. Peter Griffith.

Back to the two brothers. I fixed the albinism issue by just switching to anime rules. No one is arguing Kaguyasama has albinism.

Besides that I don't have much more to say. I did make Geumsaegi's uniform a different shade of green than Julderami's. More yellowish. I also made Geumsaegi wear his uniform all neat and proper. Juldarami always has to have his uniform open and damn it did he give his hat to Bamsaegi?! And he lost it?!!!??

Lastly I'm reading a book about Noth Korea. I'm almost done. I will make a separate post about it. It's really good.

Some people describe Akane and Kana characters like this: "Kana is good for the viewers while Akane is good for the plot." Me, when seeing this I was like: Hmm, seems like it. But what's your opinions on this? I'm the anon who said that you cleared up my confusion and also recently I'm all out of questions because probably the questions I want to ask were already asked by others and you gave great answers. Thank you for that. So I don't have anything to ask yet maybe when the next chapter drops.

Akane is good for both, the plot and me as a reader/watcher though 😂

Jokes aside, I see what they're trying to say and while I wouldn't word it that way, I don't think they're that far off the mark. I actually wonder if Kana may be supposed to be "Everyone's Heroine" in much the same way Fujiwara was in Kaguya:

Instead, Aka announces that Chika didn't fall in love with anyone because all along she was "everyone's heroine" who made the lives of those around her brighter and happier. This would also explain why Kana is often treated like the face of the manga even though she remains largely disconnected to the plot (for now). She may be OnK's mascot just like Fujiwara's was Kaguya's.

The main difference between Kana and Chika's roles is that Kana is allowed to fall in love, but the thing is that Aka handles her romantic feelings like he handled Maki's. Maki's pining for Tsubasa and her self-inflicted suffering over him were often used as comic relief, and Aka had a blast writing it (he literally said she's a character he particularly likes lmao). So it's like he mixed Fujiwara's role with Maki's suffering-prone romance 😂
