Refreshing antique summer outfit, pairing cutest kaeru (frog) conversiong on silvery fuki (butterbur family, here maybe tsuwabuki/silverleaf) obi, and a bashô (Japanese fiber banana) leaves kimono with a lovely fresh green ground.

i refreshed my shiver and frye designs making them appear more creature-like 😈

also made my own autistic octo and crazy headed squid, wish i had more time to introduce them to you through comics panels…but at least here something!

"it's my blaster!!" 🐸

i love kero blaster & when i started learning to crochet, i really wanted to make a kaeru kun amigurumi! it was delayed a long time, & then when i finally got around to it, it was INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING & i had to frog it (haha) countless times. but in the end, i love how he turned out! here he is, complete with a removable jetpack backpack & cleaning gun that snaps to his hand :)

Sitting here wondering why Eruka's name is spelled like that... Ribbit ribbit... Then remember the Japanese song I learned this summer about the kaeru.

"Eruka" is "frog" in Japanese, with the first two letters moved to the end.

Never would have thought, music education conference gave fandom knowledge.
