Dungeon Meshi’s shapeshifters are such a fun tool for character and relationship exploration, so I stole it :D here’s a guessing game between the Karasuno first years (with the added difficulty that I don’t ever draw them exactly like in canon lol). Would you be able to spot the fakes??

Veena pushin and struggling?

“You’re doing so well,” says Siobhan, “just a little more.”

“A little?!” says Veena in a frayed squeal. It’s as close to a scream as she can get, out of breath from both her laboring and the squeeze of the baby into her lungs. ‘A little’ of nothing—despite hours of labor, Veena’s making poor progress. The baby just sits so large in her that she can’t seem to push it lower. 

Another contraction comes, quick on the heels of the last—and the baby chooses that moment to roll over, stretching Veena’s tightening muscles nearly enough to pop them out of place. Veena moans, as churned-up fluids spill on the floor between her ankles. She bears down for another fitful push, clutching her massive stomach as if to squeeze the baby out from the outside as well. 

“I need,” she pants, mid-push, “I-I need—help—please—“

“Alright,” says Siobhan, pressing one large orcish hand to Veena’s aching lower back, and laying the other on the swollen shelf jutting under her ribcage. She rubs circles into Veena’s belly, deeply, feeling for the contours of the baby spitting her open—and presses down.

But "OK!" and enthusiastic nodding is lovely in its own right.

You don't need a structure or a hierarchy or ritual to agree, or accept, or simply comply. It's just a simple, easy, fun thing. "Be a doll and..." "OK!", heart eyes and all.

Because it's just nice and normal and wonderful. Not in that post-brainwashing, new-brain, "why wouldn't you just do as you're told?" way, either.

It's just simple and lovely and "OK!"

Because you're already all brainwashed, and nodding and "OK!" and hopping right to feel great all on their own.

The butt of my jeans ripped up some months ago (this is the reason I had to buy my crappy H&M jeans that are already falling apart). But I finally finished up the patchwork, yippee!

I know the fabric on the big patch is a little loose, but if it works it works. This is my first time patching jeans from the inside, and I'm pretty pleased with myself

Anyways, the Gresley family brainrot be hitting hard and now I have HOISNY related lore relating to Smoldon (Greendon) & smol Scotsman (feat. Great Northern).

This instead of thinking about the LBSCR lore & Thomas shenanigans.

Might work it into a HOISNY-based series of oneshots… Probably. Trust me the current thing I have is a wall of text that appeared to me in a dream and it works LMAO.
