TW1ST: 180° is the second extended play by South Korean girl group, TWIST. The album was released on May 5, 2017, through JYL Records. Consisting of nine songs, including the three singles, “Come Back Home”, “Triangle”, and “Overdose”. Musically, the album spans between R&B, hip hop, EDM, metal, and dance-pop. The group earned the title ‘self-produce’ group as all members have taken the lead in the album production. “Come Back Home” was written and composed by Chaeyoung and Hyerim, whereas “Overdose” was composed by Sohye and written by Hyerim. “Triangle” is the first track that contains credits from all the members, in which the live arrangement consisting of an electric guitar and violins were composed by Sohye and Chaeyoung, while the lyrics were written by Mina and Hyerim.

As a sequel to their first eponymous extended play, TW1ST, 180° was a commercial success. The album debuted atop the Gaon Albums Chart, with over 400,000 copies sold in the first week, with Twist breaking their own record for having the highest girl group first week album sales, which was previously held by the predecessor album known as TW1ST. By the end of 2017, 180° had sold over 700,000 copies, making Twist hold the top two selling girl group albums of the year.

The lead single, “Come Back Home”, debuted atop the Gaon Digital Chart with other 567,888 digital units sold in the first week of release. The song remained atop the chart for four consecutive weeks. The second single, “Overdose”, debuted at number two on the Gaon Digital Chart with 309,362 digital units sold. In the first week of June 2017, “Overdose” rose to the summit of the chart with a huge increase in sales after the group held a one-time performance at the Apollo Theater in New York City, leading the performance to gain popularity. “Overdose” topped the Gaon Digital Chart for seven consecutive weeks. Due to the sudden traction from the viral performance, “Overdose” peaked at number 10 on the US Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100. The third single, “Triangle” peaked at number 80 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week of September 3, 2017.

For the album’s release, a special “TWIST Comeback Show”, hosted by a collaboration of Mnet and MTV, was broadcast live worldwide on May 6, 2017. The show consisted of performances from the following albums: TW1ST and 180°.

It was difficult to follow up to the release of TW1ST, the general public counted them out, but Twist came back FIGHTING! 

Come Back Home topped all the real time charts, earning 50 perfect-all-kills.

Overdose was the REAL hit of the album! It became bigger than Come Back Home and earned 73 perfect-all-kills.

Overdose debuted in the Bubbling Under on Billboard at number 10! 

Sohye had a vengeance. After a winter of taking violin, guitar, and writing lessons, she composed Overdose as her first project. She then enlisted Hyerim to help her with the lyrical material of the song. 2HYE lives on!

Mina joined the cast of Hello Counselor, to give advice to individuals!

As a gift for such a successful first half of 2017, Twist went on vacation to Malaysia!

To get to know the members more, Chaeyoung began her own radio show; Chae’s Clubhouse, where the Twist members and other idols are interviewed every week.

Performance Highlights (Iconic Moments / Popular Performances):

On 050417, the official comeback stages for Come Back Home and Overdose took place at Mnet Countdown. The stage for Come Back Home was rather futuristic, inspired by The Matrix and TLC’s ‘No Scrubs’. Each member had a white monochrome and colorful latex outfit suited for them, as they would dance in unison. The Overdose set in comparison was rather dark, sleek, and simplistic with white greek statues surrounding the girls. The beginning of the performances shows 20 backup dancers in the form of a choir as they surround Twist. Chaeyoung and Hyerim are directing the orchestra before the song begins.

On 050717 at SBS Inkigayo, Twist descended onto the stage from the ceiling via a small shaft and broke the glass wall that is used as an entrance to their performance of Overdose. Notable moments include Sohye opening up the performance with an electric guitar solo which transitions into Hyerim’s opening verse, Chaeyoung and Hyerim’s duo rap at the bridge, and Mina’s high note before the bridge.

At The 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards, Twist performed a symphony orchestra version of Overdose, which included 100 members and backup dancers on stage performing various string instruments of the melody. At the opening of the symphony orchestra segment, Mina has an operatic vocal solo stage and is followed by Sohye’s electric guitar solo segment. The girls are seen rising onto the stage in a ring of blue fire, which intensifies with every movement of the symphony behind them. Notable moments include a dance break before the bridge, Chaeyoung and Hyerim’s duo rap, Hyerim’s signature hand movement that commands the audience from each direction to sing or scream louder, and a solo Hyerim dance stage. The performance received critical acclaim and is listed as one of the most iconic MAMA stages.

At The 2017 Melon Music Awards, Twist performed a rock version of Triangle with an orchestra live band to enhance the live instrumental of the song. The girls are seen descending onto the stage as angels with fluffy white wings in a ring of pure white light (in contrast to the ring of blue fire they stood in at MAMA for Overdose). Notable moments include Sohye’s violin solo, Hyerim’s runway walk before her bridge (insp @ 3:01 here), Chaeyoung’s screamo rap, Hyerim’s high note at the end (4:30 here), and Mina leading a metal-insp dance break.

Waking up super early Friday morning, to get ready for a day’s worth of KCON adventures, wasn’t a problem for me. Between the sirens blaring outside my window all night and the fact that I was just super freaking excited about all the KCON goodness waiting for me, I was up and ready to go in no time. Little did I know just how amazing this day’s adventure would actually be…

Getting to the Prudential Center right around the time KCON opened, I headed off to do all my checking in while my friends ran off to do their thing. We all agreed we’d meet back up for the KNK artist engagement, my friends insisting that I record them during their high touch. Of course I wasn’t going to say no to that; especially not after they were the ones who got me the audience pass in the first place! With an hour to kill in the meantime, I got myself all checked in everywhere and, coincidentally enough, ran into more friends along the way. With so many people to chat with and a year’s worth of life to catch up on, the time flew by. Before I knew it, I was headed back to the artist engagement area to join the zillions of other excited fans, all anxious awaiting their time with KNK.

Inside the dark arena, the brilliantly lit stage at the far end drew the attention of every eye in the room. Like moths to a flame, hundreds of fans pressed as close together as they could get, just to be that much closer to KNK when they finally walked out on stage. Being part of the general audience and not one for getting needlessly squashed, I hung out in the back with some friends, more happy just to be able to witness this little bit of KCON magic, than anything else. When KNK did finally walk on-stage, I couldn’t help but smile. Tall, charismatic and gorgeous, KNK was everything I imagined them to be and more. They were sweet and funny and so very good at entertaining the crowd. When the time for the high-touch came, I found myself practically on the verge of tears. I know it sounds funny to say that and maybe I shouldn’t admit it but I was just so happy for my friends, knowing they were part of the seemingly never-ending line of fans parading past these beautiful boys. After all, they were in the process of making an actual dream come true!

In my defense, I have to tell you that both of these friends are HUGE fans of KNK. They’ve been Tinkerbells since before the fandom even had a name and they even have matching Tinkerbell tattoos which I think is fantastic. It was KNK that drew my friends to KCON and this moment with KNK was everything they had ever wanted out of the trip; so to see them experience this magic and know just how much it meant to them… Well, it was nothing short of wonderful and I was so happy for them I just didn’t know how to express myself. (Hey, emotional Zombie is emotional, okay?) When they finally made it through the high-touch line, they both came running over to me, their smiles more radiant than the lights illuminating the stage. Needless to say, there was a lot of hugging happening in that moment and so many stories were told. It’s amazing how many memories you can make in just a few brief moments with a group of idols but you know what? Those precious memories are ones that will never be forgotten.

So what type of K-Pop fan are you, really?

Back out in the stifling heat and overwhelming humidity that seemed to try to suffocate us all, my friends ran off on a KNK high, hoping to win a chance to interact with the boys when they made their appearance at the Toyota tent later in the day. I, on the other hand, wandered over to the panel tents to catch a few minutes of my friends’ panel before running back over to join the line of fans waiting to take part in SF9’s artist engagement. Sitting in on the “What Type of K-Pop Fan Are You?” panel, I listened to my friends sharing their stories for a bit but I couldn’t stay long. My time with SF9 was quickly approaching and being the overly anxious Zombie that I am, I had to make sure I was in line early enough to not miss out on a moment with my boys.

Practically running back over to the artist engagement area, my heart dropped as I found the high-touch line and realized it wound its way around the corner and half-way down the block. With a groan of frustration I hiked over to the end of the line and joined the never-ending string of overly anxious fans, all fretting over the fact that we might not actually make it inside before the engagement ended. Of course fears always get the better of your when your emotions are high so I tried to remind myself to just chill and breathe. I may not have been the best listener but I tried and believe it or not, I actually made it back inside the arena before SF9 even walked out on stage. Supremely happy just to be there and infinitely grateful to my friends for making this moment happen, I stood there throughout the entire event, with a stupidly huge smile on my face.

I’m happy to report that SF9 was everything I ever dreamed they would be. They were every bit as charming as KNK had been and so funny and adorable and just… *siiiggghhhh* I love a group who can make me laugh and SF9 was so good at that! Watching them interact with each other and the fans was so much fun. When the time for the high touch came, I kinda had to remind myself to breathe. I’m actually terrible at keeping myself together when it comes to meeting idols as a fan. Give me an interview as a professional and I’m fine! My brain works, my confidence is high, I can hold my own and come out the other side with all sorts of stories to tell. But put me in front of idols during a high-touch and I fall completely to pieces. My brain stops working, so much so that I half the time I walk through the line without saying anything at all. I just smile so hard my face hurts and then spend the rest of my life cursing my stupidity. When my brain does allow me to speak, I usually only manage to eek out something lame like “thank you” which is what I did when my turn to meet SF9 finally rolled around. Walking up those stairs, with Chani standing right there, his smile so bright I nearly went blind, it took everything in me to not pass out. Stupid Zombie brain! With a giant smile plastered on my face, I made my way down the line, greeting each member with a meek “thank you” and a slight nod. I’d wanted to say so much more to these boys but, as always, my brain refused to cooperate. On the bright side, I did keep enough of my wits about me to make sure I made eye contact with each one and I may have let my hand linger on Zuho’s just a bit longer because, you know, Zuho… *swoon*

With the high-touch over, the boys said their final farewells and then it was back out into the stifling heat of the day. Knowing my friends were over at the Toyota tent with KNK, I tried to make my way over there but the crowd was insane and I just didn’t feel like fighting my way through. Instead, I stood on the sidelines and tried to snap a few photos before running off with other friends to catch up on life and enjoy a few minutes of down-time. Surrounded by friends, both old and new, I had a moment to appreciate just how great something like KCON really is. Sure, I was still on a bit of an SF9 high and I was thrilled that I’d gotten to experience something so rare but at the same time, in that moment, surrounded by friends, I could easily admit that being able to spend time with so many different people is really what makes KCON so great.

Rested and hydrated, it was time to head back out into the heat and meet up with other friends. After their time with KNK, I knew they’d have stories to tell and boy, did they! I was so happy, listening to them tell me about their experiences. For girls who had driven across half a continent, they’d certainly been rewarded for all their suffering! I don’t think any of us could have dreamed about experiences as amazing as the ones they were having and the weekend wasn’t even close to being over! With stuff going on all over the place, it was hard to keep track of everyone and everything but I did manage to meet back up with friends as they were waiting for Highlight to make their appearance at the PyeongChang tent. Catching up on all of our day’s adventures, I happened to see this big black van pull up out of the corner of my eye and immediately this massive rush of people flies past me. The next thing I know, Highlight is stepping out of the van and almost as quick as I can turn my head, they’re walking right past me! Talk about having a moment! Only at KCON can you have random idols strut past you like it’s no big deal!

The massive rush of fans who’d just flown past me now turned to swarm around the tent where Highlight stood. Completely cut off from the tent and anything else going on in that area, my friend and I decided it was time to go do something else. Wandering around the convention area, we found food samples and dance crews and Taekwondo instructors and all sorts of fun things. Stopping here and there, simply enjoying all that KCON had to offer, the time flew by. Before we knew it, it was time to make our way back down to the artist engagement area one last time. Splitting up once we got there, my friend joined the massive high-touch line while I joined the seemingly never-ending line of fans holding audience passes. Again, the fear of missing things was high but having just passed Highlight on the convention stage (how they got from one end of the grounds to the other is beyond me but they did!) I had a feeling that even with the long lines, we wouldn’t be missing much. I’m happy to say, I was right. When Highlight did finally appear on that brilliantly lit stage, the crowd went absolutely nuts. There’s something to be said for a group whose been around as long as these guys have. They might not do all the cutesy fan interactions that the rookie groups are so fond of but they certainly know how to make a heart flutter! Watching my friend go through her high touch practically brought me to tears again and I’m pretty sure her tears were real when she found me afterwards. I guess this just goes to show that sometimes dreams really do come true!

After Highlight’s fan engagement, it was time to check in for the Red Carpet so off I ran, back down to the other side of the Prudential Center. I spent a lot of time running back and forth over the course of the weekend and honestly, my feet hated me for it. (It’s been a month since I was in Newark and I still refuse to wear anything but sandals…) Still, the running was worth it, especially when I had friends to meet up with and a Red Carpet to photograph. Joining my fellow journalists and photographers in the press area, we took all our test shots and did all of our other pre-Red Carpet planning. With everything set as well as it could be, there was nothing left to do but wait for the artists to make their appearance. And so they did, in all of their pre-concert glory… *swoon*

To tell you about each group would take forever so I think I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves…

Each artists’ time on the red carpet was amazing. They each knew exactly how to strike a pose for the camera and win the hearts of their fans, all at the same time. I think Zion.T’s outfit was my favorite out of all of them. Seriously, that man has so much swag and charisma, it’s unreal. He can capture the attention of the entire room, just by walking into it. It’s incredible! Of course having JunHyung’s tattoo peeking out of his jacket the entire time Highlight was on-stage was a bit… distracting. But work-mode required my attention go elsewhere so that’s where it went, at least until after the event was over. (And for those of you wondering if I have more pics to share, the answer is yes and I will get them up in an album… Soon… I hope…)

Back outside, the first few drops of rain began to fall. With nothing but the concert left to look forward to, I dodged raindrops as I ran off to meet up with some very good friends of mine before the show. With an entire year’s worth of life to catch up on, the time we spent together before the show passed in a flash and before we knew it, the light of the Prudential Center were dimming and the booming voice announcing the night’s lineup shook us to our very core. The moment we’d all been waiting for had finally come and we were more than ready.

If you want to know what Friday night’s concert was like, you can read the recap I wrote for ATK Magazine here. It was a fun show, to be sure, but it had a very different vibe than the KCON concerts I’ve attended in previous years. Still, experiences were had and memories were made. I squealed my way through KNK, screeched through SF9, danced my way through GFriend, swooned my way through Zion.T and bawled my way through Highlight’s entire set. I was JUST. SO. HAPPY! With the concert over there was nothing left to do but relive all the most magical moments of my day with some of my most precious friends. So that’s what I did, at least until utter exhaustion got the better of me. Crawling into bed more asleep than awake, I was out almost before my head hit my pillow.

You guuuuuys😢 I'm sitting here watching all the Cnblue mv's & performances & the comments on the 2017 NY KCON put me straight into my feels! Everyone was commenting on how amazing their performance was, how they made the whole audience go crazy, how many fans they gained from fans of other groups.

It makes me feel so good to hear that. This literally happens every time they perform live in front of a mixed audience at some type of kpop convention. They are legitimately amazing live, like life-changing. It's something about the instruments that just shoots thru you, jars your senses & vibrates your whole body w/emotion.

I always need that reminder because I have no BOICE friends & Tumblr dead af when it comes to Cnblue. But whatever, if only y'all could see them live 🙄💭

NCT irl at Kcon2017

Oooohhhh fuck can I just start off with they’re all really fucking attractive and pictures don’t do them justice? Like seriously pictures cannot contain how perfect they are. Taeil: He’s super cute like really cute. His body is even cute. He’s like right in the middle not super tall but not short. When u look at his face u just wanna smile. Really smooth skin like u wanna rub it, it’s like after u shave ur legs. Has big puppy dog eyes like u finna get lost in them shits sis. His hair is very nice and looks healthy, his hair kinda looks weird sometimes in photos but it really suits him irl!!! Some girl got chosen for Doyoung and Taeil to sing a song to her and Taeil sang a Bruno mars song I’m sorry I really can’t remember what it’s called but you guys know that one Bruno mars love song. His English was PRECIOUS he has a very sweet sing song voice. Everyone melted when he sang the Bruno Mars song like GODDDD boy really can sing well!! He's a super cute puppy flower boy, he gives off pretty boy vibes 🌸. He was smiling a smol cute little smile the whole time he was very precious and I just wanted to love him. Taeyong: MY FUCKING BIAS. WOOOW HES SOOO ATTRACTIVE WAS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE??? I WAS IN THE RED CARPET TAKING PICS THEN HE CAME OUT AND I JUST I PUT MY PHONE DOWN AND STARED AT HIM I HAD TO EXPERIENCE HIS BEAUTY RIGHT THERE MY MOUTH GOT FUCKING DRY AT HIS BEAUTY. Super nice skin super cute lil sweet heart trying to please everyone fan interaction every time u turn around. When he dances he GETS INTO IT his hair flops all around it's really adorable! He hits all his moves super sharp and it's very pleasing to see. He had a solo before all the other boys came out and he KILT THAT SHIT everyone was in shock because it was so good. He was very nervous and I was like abt to cry bc that's my baby and no. He was talking in English and messed up and he DID THE CUTEST SHIT EVER he just looked at the ground and started smiling and all the boys just patted his back everyone said "awww" tho so I hope that made him feel better. Really a perfectionist, tried his hardest to speak really good English, ohh boy his English voice is cuteeeeee. He kept taking his jacket off because he was gettin hot. Has nice arms, the boys weren't lying ab those veins girl u can see them from miles away, he has nice hands too. He's kinda like Taeil he's not very tall he's more on the shorter side but very nice thin pretty dancer body. He was so pretty?They had a little fan interaction wheel of fortune thingy and he kept doing all the little popular American dances he was gettin it in. On stage he's got a very sexy idgaf vibe, but in reality he's cute and quiet. A fan had the same hair color as him and when he walked by her he pointed to his hair and then hers and gave a thumbs up. In all he really works hard and you can tell he really cares for everyone especially his members, he's very nervous but once he gets past that he's super cute and wants to make sure fans have a good time. ALSO HES FUCKING GORGEOUS I CANT EXPLAIN. Johnny: BIG HES BIG TALL LEAN BUT MUSCULAR BUILD HE'S THE EPITOME OF A MAN. Very tall, I was at his elbow. He was right next to me and I almost fainted he was so hot. He has these little patches that look like irritated or inflamed skin on his left cheek near his neck and under his jaw his makeup artists covered it really well tho so I really couldn't tell. He has flawless pore less skin it looked really soft and dewy. His hair was actual sex, the pictures don't do him justice he fucking ROCKS this hair and it makes him give off sexy vibes. When I told him I loved him he gave me the sweetest smile ever and ugh I melted. Very polite baby!! Asked how everyone in my isle was doing and waved to everyone! I can't get over how nice his body was I just wanted him to wrap me up in his arms so badly they looked so strong, his body is actually pretty wide but he's lean and muscular, like he could engulf you. Bless those stylists tho bc his clothes fit him really well and he looked very cute. He's a precious pure baby in a big sexy man body, he was smiling the whole concert everyone was PIPING HIS HEAD YO. He was talking and it got quiet and he was asking the members to show something and asking the girl who got picked for the song to pick a singing member and a girl in my isle screamed "I pick you Johnny" and he couldn't contain his smile and laughter like he was cracking tf up. Every time it got quiet I would scream Johnny along with 2-3 other people in my isle and he would smile SO BIG. He was really happy, lots of Johnny stans there. His legs are big and long, when he dances you can see how big they are, he was smirking the whole cherry bomb choreo bc everyone kept screaming his name. In all he was extremely extremely handsome I wasn't ready I had no idea how handsome he was! He's so underrated please love him he deserves it. He's a cute shy baby with a sexy face and body like he would treat u so well I can just tell. I really wanna meet him again! Win win: PRINCE OF FUCKING CHINA. Huge eyes like they're half his face. Symmetrical face with very nice features. Sort of round face. Good hair, pretty doll lips. He's sort of on the shorter side and he's thin but not as thin as Taeyong. He was gettin hyped, there were a lot of win win stans with little signs and stuff. He didn't speak any English but listened very intently when Mark and Johnny and the others spoke English, you can tell he really wants to learn. I feel like he's a fast learner. Very articulate and energetic dancer, looks like he's having the time of his life on stage. Laughs at anything the members say, he really loves them. I was wearing an nct banner on my shoulders and he pointed at it and gave a heart and I thought I died for a sec. He tries to make sure every fan can see him like when they were waving goodbye he took the longest and kept stopping to wave 😂. He's a cute baby and sometimes it seems like he isn't thinking about anything? He loves being on stage and dances amazing I was so impressed by him, the other members all dance very well too. He seems very innocent and sweet, he works very hard and does a very energetic stage. Really tho he's so handsome like prince of China frfr. Jaehyun: TALL BABY! HANDSOME BABY! PRETTY BABY! MUSCULAR BABY! He really is tall, almost as tall as Johnny. Definitely most muscular in NCT he has BIG arms, you can see through his clothes how defined he is. His voice is deep, like deeper than on the actual tracks. AMAZING LIVE Singer. He sang live the whole time and everyone was amazed. He's actually very good at dancing!!! A real man!! The type of guy u wanna wife up. Shy but confident, very smiley and cute with his members. His hair is really nice I wanted to run my hands through it so bad. When he was in the isle with me he kept looking around and licking his lips 😫😫. He's really built so well and his voice sounds like honey. Actual prince. You think he looks good in pictures? Well if you see him in real life your gonna be blown back by his handsomeness. Actor like chiseled features, looks like his jawline will cut you. Big eyes, small face. He was very pale, but not extremely pale he was just very symmetrical and perfect looking, he looked like if you could create the perfect man. Overall he seemed like a cute reserved sweet heart, once again shockingly handsome and sexy but also very cute! Doyoung: BEAGLE! THIS BOY IS TALL AND CUTE! THIS BOY IS BOYFRIEND MATERIAL! He has very circular big eyes, he's pretty thin. Legs r long as fuck they look like they're his whole body. Sweet high voice when he sings, he sings very well live. When he was singing to the girl i was shocked how nice his voice really was. Cute hair, it's also kinda thin. He gives off cutesy boyfriend vibes. Aesthetic boyfriend. Model boyfriend. Very well spoken and articulate. Very chic! Once again he seems like a model or something. All his clothes looked like he was modeling them. Cute stage presence equally cute up close. He wasn't shy at all he just walked down the isle I was like damn ok. He has this sort of happy but chic aura. This boy knows what he's doing he's very good. Overall I just wanna walk through ny with him and take aesthetic pictures, such a boyfriend oml. Yuta: HANSOME! SMART! LIKE REALLY DAMN HANDSOME! He's a bias wrecker, he damn near stole my heart. Sexy boy fr tho idk if he knows how sexy he is tho. Good dancer too. DEEP DEEP VOICE FUCKKKK. His Korean is really good too. He's in the middle for height also. When he dances he thrusts his hips a lot. You know that part in the beginning of cherry bomb the "I'm the biggest hit" part? Boy was thrusting his hips super hard. Overall I jut wanna protect him and watch him grow and get more popular, he's really so lovable. Haechan: AWWWWWWW CUTE LIL BABY BOY! SOOO EXCITED AB EVERYTHING! When he dances he also bounces around. SMOL! Heart piercing smile! SMIRKING THROUGH EVERY PERFORMANCE. It's funny because he thinks he's older than he is and it's really cute. I’d have to say that Kcon NY was by far the best thing to ever happen to me. I got to meet one of my top favorite groups & let me tell you. It was beyond amazing. Even though I nearly passed out a couple times. It was worth the wait for, 4 hours just to see Up10tion. Now I’m not sure if everyone is fully awake of what’s still currently going on with a certain member from Up10tion? But there’s only 9 members in my photos & videos because Wooshin is currently on a hiatus. But that’s okay! He needs his rest & to feel better💕 Though Wooshin is my bias, my main focus at kcon was Kogyeol because he’s my wrecker, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t pay attention to the rest!! So here’s my kcon NY experience with Up10tion. ~ First off, when they first walked out the building the first person I saw was Jinhoo & let me tell you. He’s absolutely gorgeous. When I saw him, he just had a glow to him. She was shining & smiling so bright. He was so beyond beautiful. I couldn’t believe I was actually right in front of this beautiful being it was so unreal. The next person I saw //now this is a funny story// was the dorky Wei! He’s so goofy he literally had people screaming “WEIWEIWEIWEIWEI” it was so funny. I saw him & in the exact moment I just?? Was so at a loss at what was actually happening that I just blurted his name & he looked my direction //keep in mind I’m in front row right at the gate// so when he looked my way //haha.. Wei// I literally felt my heart stop & I was S H O O K He’s so cute in person. Next I saw Xiao! He’s also so cute! He kept looking all over & joking around with Hwanhee because they were next to each other and both him & Hwanhee were so cute together. They kept hitting each other or talking it was precious. They stayed together most of the time. Next to Hwanhee was baby Sunyoul! He’s so precious in person words can’t describe how soft he makes me. I didn’t get to see much of Sunyoul because Hwanhee kept standing right in my line of view BUT when I did! He was so pretty! I also heard him laugh & my heart stopped. Next to Sunyoul was Gyujin! His eyebrows are even more powerful & amazing in person. He’s such a softy! He was a smiling ray of sunshine & he was standing next to Wei, & at one point they kept bouncing & lifting their arms it was cute. After that I was curious because I couldn’t find Kogyeol so I looked directly in front of me & there he was. The beautiful Go Minsoo himself. Wow just lemme tell you. W o w He’s stunning in person, I couldn’t believe it?? I looked at my friend with like, nearly tears in my eyes & go “Is that really Kogyeol??” I couldn’t believe it. He gave me hearts like, 3 times! Which I have on video hehe. I still can’t get over how handsome he is. On the left of Kogyeol was Bitto! Oh my god Bitto is so cute I just want to hug him. His smile is also so?? CuTe??? He kept sticking his tongue out & it was the cutest thing ever & his voice???? Is so??? Deep?? Irl????? Wow Last but not the least next to Kogyeol was Kuhn! He was a smiling ray of sunshine also! He also was sweating like usual haha but Kogyeol literally just took his hand & wiped the sweat away like nothing. Kogyeol coming to the rescue. He too is absolutely stunning in person & he’s so sweet! He waved to everyone! I was so incredibly happy to experience meeting Up10tion up close. As much as I was sad I didn’t get to see Wooshin, I was happy that he was at home resting. I can only imagine how stunning handsome Wooshin is up close. But that’s okay, I hope I get to see Up10tion again next year & I hope Wooshin will be with them so he too can experience the USA with his close friends. All in all, I love Up10tion with all my heart & I will never stop supporting them no matter what. Thank you Up10tion for making my 1st Kcon experience something I’ll never forget💕

Dramas: This may be a little on the extra side since I know that watching dramas is a whole new level of commitment, but SF9 are frequently in dramas... likely more than any other group. It feels like such a huge part of who they are so I wanted to include it! These boys have been in so many!! You can get a full list here, but some fantastic dramas they have been in are:

Hwiyoung & Chani / Imitation - they were part of a project group called "Shax". Hwiyoung even gets his own romance sub-plot, and it is just the CUTEST.

Rowoon / Extra-ordinary You - He has been in a ton of dramas, but this one is my favorite. It's about comic book characters who are trying to change their destiny.

Dawon /Doom at Your Service - This one is about a girl who is dying who makes a deal with a god of doom. Dawon plays the little brother and has an adorable bromance with the male lead. It's such a cutesy character, but the show is pretty top tier and he does such a good job!
