i didn’t have the words for it on discord but. this is it. that tumblr text post is exactly what kamiyu dynamic is. AND i thought it was funny how Kalmia favors Crewel and Yu is Crewel’s assistant, so they’d probs meet up accidentally whether they want to or not bc they hang around in him a lot (??)

I FEEL LIKE!! Kalmia would be able to recognize some of his masking manipulation patterns (bc. she does them too), so she’d feel some sort of (unwanted) kinship. She’d be frustrated that he just wants to blend in (even if she tells herself she doesn’t care bc it just makes it easier for her to take the spotlight. but she does. she does care. bc she thinks it’s wasteful [rude].)

Ryo, i got introduced to devilman by the netflix show when i was like in freshman year of HS, i know everyone says it's bad and perhaps id agree if i watched it today but it got me to read the manga. He's a funny guy and i think i would need to reread it to have something better to say on the subject

And asking me to say how I feel about Kamille...

It's so hard to articulate but I think the severity of his nature (how much he fucking HATES his dead parents for instance lol) is something I really connect with (maybe not in that specific instance but. For people i do hate), even when he's hypocritical. And like every mobile suit pilot (that's worthwhile anyway) i like when hes a murderous thug. It's also cool that he doesn't take pleasure in killing Unless it's personal, but is a soldier because....? Unclear. I love his relationships with Fa, Four, Rosamia, and of course Quattro. It's all deeply realistic to me. Gundam has the best mommy and daddy issues havers of all time and people are sleeping on this in favor of making the same tired "could have been like a mother to me" reference over again ... That's kind of another complaint. But yeah im deeply pro-kamiyu til i die
