Once I walked by a statue in the shape of a tank, I had a 3 year old child besides me and he said “look that’s an Israeli car” I was surprised by his reaction so I asked him what do they do with it? He said “when people are praying outside they kill them so people bleed and cry and call the ambulance” i asked “where have you seen that” he said “I saw it on Al Jazeera”( he actually calls it jazeela & calls any news channel the same).
When I heard “Al Jazeera” I was actually min-blown, I used to be once his age, or maybe a bit older and I used to see the same images on that same channel from our brothers in iraq and palestine and afghanistan… , I used to, just like him, hold grudges and hatred for an enemy I didn’t know much about, many years ago, and nothing changed yet…
I didn’t know how to react, should I smile and rejoice because he knows the good from the evil, or should I grieve and cry because a new generation of Muslims is born to see the bloodshed of everyone who says la ilaha illa Allah?
“Instil love for shهاdah in the hearts of the new generations, if they don’t have the blessing of being children of Shuهada let them attain shaهاdah themselves.Raise men who will grant you shafa’a in front of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Allah Subhanahu wa taala. And do not pay attention to those who may say “they’re too young for this” our children were never young to be kiااed in Syria and palestine and afghanistan and iraq and Kashmir and Burma?! But now they’re too young when we want to raise them upon hهte for the enيmies of Allah?”

Ma Kali & Kali Mantra: Meaning, Significance, and Benefits 🪷🪬🧿
Goddess Kali is the divine protector of the earth who is also known as Kalika in Hinduism. But due to the goddess' destructive power, Kali is also known as the Dark Mother. As per mythology, the word Kali comes from the Sanskrit word Kala, which means time. Goddess Kali, therefore, represents time, change, power, creation, preservation and destruction. The word Kali also means “the black one”, the feminine noun of the Sanskrit adjective Kala. As per spiritual texts, Goddess Kali is considered a fierce form of Durga/Parvati and the consort of Lord Shiva. Besides being a destructor of bad powers of the universe, Kali ma is also a great giver to those who do good deeds and worship her with utmost devotion. Hence pleasing Kali ma allows the native a lot of compassion and blessings.
As per mythology, Kali maa is the first of the 10 Mahavidyas or manifestations of the Great Goddess. She is usually portrayed in a form where she dances or stands on her consort God Shiva, who lies calm and prostrated beneath her. Kali Maa is worshipped throughout the country but majorly in the seas of Bengal, Assam, Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, along with Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Over the centuries, the Goddess Kali has taken many forms to protect the Dharma and religion and destroy the one who commits sins. Astrologers say that Maa Kalika is the most awakened goddess in Hinduism and has walked the earth in four forms – Dakshina Kali, Shamshan Kali, Mother Kali and Mahakali. All these forms have served different purposes, right from Raksha Slaughter to the healing of the earth and its natives.
Kali Mantra
Story behind the destructive form of Maa Kali
There was a notorious asura named Daruk who had pleased Brahma and thus was rewarded a boon. The boon allowed the asura to cause grief to the Gods and Brahmins. If this wasn't enough, Daruk also started setting his kingdom in heaven. Seeing this, all the Gods reached out to Brahma and Vishnu, where they were told only a lady can kill the evil Daruk.
Hearing this, all the Devtas donned a female form and went to fight Daaruk, only to get defeated by him. Post the failure, the Gods reached the Kailash mountain to share the ordeal with Lord Shiva. After listening to the Gods, Lord Shiva looked at Maa Parvati and said, "hey Kalyani I pray to destroy the evil Daruk and save the world." Listening to this, a part of Mother Parvati entered Lord Shiva.
That part of Bhagwati Mata entered the body of Lord Shiva and due to the poison in the throat of Shiva, Bhagwati Mata turned into a black Goddess. Lord Shiva felt that part inside of him and opened his third eye and appeared as Goddess Kali in a fierce form.
Just like Shiva, Maa Kali had a third eye and a lunar line. The throat had a sign of Karla poison, and she carries a trident. Seeing the fierce form of Mother Kali, Gods and Siddhas started fleeing. With the mere hum of Maa Kali, all the Asura army including Daruk was burnt to ashes. Yet, the fierceness of Kali wasn't over. The mother’s anger began to burn the whole world. To save the world from the wrath, Shiva took the form of a child and appeared in front of Kali.
When mother Kali saw that child Shirupi, she became fascinated by that form. She embraced Shiva and started feeding him with her breasts. Soon, Maa Kali became unconscious due to Shivji drinking the wrath of mother Kali. In order to bring the Goddess into consciousness, Shivji performed Shiva Tandava. When mother Kali came back to her senses, she saw Shiva dancing and joined him, due to which she was also called Yogini.
The two forms of Goddess Kali
In Hinduism, Goddess Kali is mainly portrayed and worshipped in two forms. The first is the four-armed form, and the second is the 10-armed form, which is also known as Mahakali. Both these forms have different meanings attached to them.
Four-armed form
The Indian art portrays the four-armed Kali in black or blue colour. The eyes of Kali are red in colour which depicts rage. Her hair is shown dishevelled, small fangs sometimes protrude out of her mouth and her tongue is lolling. The Goddess wears a skirt made of human arms and a garland which is made of human heads. The four-arm form of kali stands on the calm and prostate Shiva. All her four hands hold a different thing, mainly a sword, a Trishul (trident), a severed head, and a bowl or skull-cup (kapala) catching the blood of the severed head.
In her left hands, Kali holds a sword and a human head. Here, the sword signifies divine knowledge, meanwhile the human head signifies the human ego, which must be slain by divine knowledge in order to attain moksha.
The right hands of Maa Kali holds the Abhaya (fearlessness) and Varada (blessing) mudras, which means her devotees will always be saved as she will guide them during and after life.
The Goddess also dons a garland consisting of human heads, variously enumerated at 108 or 51, which is why she is known as the mother of all the mantras in astrology.
The ten-armed form
The ten-armed form of Kali is her Maha Kali form. In her Maha Kali form, she is depicted as shining like a blue stone. Maha Kali has as many as ten faces, ten feet and three eyes for each head. All her ten hands carry various components, each of which represents the power of one of the Devas or Hindu Gods. This power is depicted in the form of the weapons that Maha Kali carries. The implication is that Mahakali is responsible for the powers that these deities possess and the implication is in line with the interpretation that Mahakali is identical to Brahman.
At times, people also tend to worship the “ek mukhi” or one-headed idol of Maha Kali displayed with ten arms, signifying the same concept.
The power tools of Kali are the Kundalini Shakti (the power of spiritual electricity); the Kriya Shakti, the power to creatively affect the universe; and Iccha Shakti, the power of will that personally compels our physical movements and actions, while in the universe it causes the galaxies to rush away from one another into the cosmic night. The chanting of various mantras helps the native have these energies for themselves.
How to chant the Kali mantras
Goddess Kali represents the colour black, and hence darkness appeals to her. This is how you should chant the Kaali Mantras.
Although Kaali Mantra can be chanted in the morning, hours after sunset are more feasible to recite these mantras.
It is best that you chant the Kaali Mantra on a new moon day (Amavasya). Wear the colour Red during the Maa Kali mantra recitation or Puja as Red is the colour that appeases the Goddess.
Also, if you plan to keep an idol or picture of Goddess Kali while reciting the mantra, you must make sure to keep it on a red cloth.
When reciting the Mantras, offer red flowers, fruits and sweets to Maa Kali. Always sit facing the East or North direction when reciting the Kali mantras.

nothing with which to prove it
1.24k words | canon divergence - blake goes home | suicidal ideation, suggestive themes | blake hart / song nix | blake hart & kashmir | blake hart & bee
After waking up aboard the Temptation, Blake has to decide what he wants out of his forcibly rearranged life. {AO3}
Water sloshes, and Blake wakes up already seasick, stomach in his throat as the world tilts from side to side. Oh. Oh no. He's on the Temptation. The pirates have taken him.
The last thing Blake remembers is his own father shooting him. The shouts. The silver glint of the gun barrel. The bright light of an explosion and the stunned shock of No, you wouldn't, not me, I'm your son, and then pain exploding across his chest, rending him open, searing and tearing through his veins. He fell into black and red and the sickening realization that however awful he had thought his father could be, he could always be worse. He could shoot his own son. He could shoot to kill.
And yet, impossibly, Blake is still alive. His father tried to kill him. The wound in his chest should have been the end. If these pirates were wise and ruthless, they would have left him for dead.
It's a shattering realization, that pirates are kinder than his own father.
Blake reaches up, probing across his chest, searching for whatever miracle bandages have saved his life.
There's no bandages. No stitches. Not even a scar.
Is this heaven, then? Is it a fever dream, as he lies dying?
Blake pinches himself, hard. Pain flares—not in his chest, but in his arm beneath his fingernails. He's alive then. This is not a dream. Wherever he is, be that earth or heaven, he is living.
Blake opens his eyes once more. He's in the Temptation's dark wooden hold. Sunlight streams from a round window behind his head. There's a Hudson's Bay blanket thrown over his body. When he sits up, it falls around his waist and the cold air rushes in, making him shiver and wince. He's naked to the waist, no doubt from baring the wound in his chest to do whatever they needed to do to heal him, and he flushes sharply at the thought of Bee or Nix seeing him like this. It's highly indecent.
He won't deny that he's imagined it: him and Nix undressing for each other, Nix laying him down, pressing him back into bed, her dry, calloused hands against his bare chest, scraping gently as she pins him in place so she can take what she wants from him. That was before he knew she was a pirate, of course. Will he still beel the same, he wonders, knowing that? Or will his disgust and anger at her crimes against his country overwhelm it?
He needs to get up. He needs to eat. He needs to find out what's going on out there in the world. That means he has to stand up and get dressed and get moving.
Blake stands, swaying uncomfortably with the rock of the ship. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. The air smells nastily of saltwater. The world lurches with a bad wave and Blake stumbles and nearly goes to his hands and knees.
Somehow, Blake manages to throw open the door and get himself out into the hall.
It's small, dim, and narrow, electric lamps swinging in their brackets. Blake stumbles, throwing his hand out to the wall to steady himself.
"Blake?" Nix's voice. "What are you doing here?" She hovers in the corridor, her dark eyes wide and worried.
"Why am I on the Temptation?" Blake asks. "What happened?"
"You almost died?" Nix says. "Your father—"
"Shot me, yes, I remember that well. And then?"
"There were healing springs nearby. Since there were hu'akai po, we figured, maybe the healing springs could be real too. We were lucky that we were right, they healed you without leaving a scar.
Blake looks down at his chest, pressing his fingers again to the spot below his heart where the bullet went in. She's right. There's not even bruising.
Blake swears and turns away, suddenly heavy and hot and nauseous. He was shot. His father tried to kill him. And he has nothing with which to prove it.
Blake swallows, hard. "You have to take me back."
"I can't. The Temptation can't go anywhere near Hawaii for a while."
"America, then. Or England. In my own time. I can find my way back."

According to Nix, if she stays at the wheel, she'll be able to sail to San Francisco without needing a new map. It'll be a few weeks, though.
Blake's sketchbook miraculously survived, his one connection to the past. He sleeps holding it, flipping through the pages when his eyes refuse to close, struggling to believe that it was his map that brought magic to his kingdom. But it had to have been.
"Where will you go?" Bee asks, as Blake leans over the railing to watch the horizon one day. "When we drop you off?"
"Home," Blake tells her. "I have to fight them. Nix tells me they win, but I have to try."
Bee nods. Her eyes are soft. "Sometimes trying is all you can do."
Kash lends Blake a stack of clothes. They're too large on him, Kash is small but Blake is smaller. It's a knowing eye roll of a joke they share, the way Nix towers taller than the both of them. Blake's father had despaired of his height, called him a runt, worried that he'd never find a suitable wife because they'd all be too tall. Blake never found it in him to care.
His father's dead. His father almost killed him, and now his father's dead.
Blake struggles to eat, caught in the despair of his father dead, himself almost dead, his body healed without leaving a scar. His homeland prophesied to be lost. Perhaps he should have died on the trail to the sugar mill. Perhaps they should have left him there to bleed out in the grass, his heart beating slower and slower.
Blake has to fight. He has to go back to Hawaii and he has to fight. He repeats it again and again to himself and it rings dull and hollow. Nix and Kash both watch him with worried eyes.
Sometimes Blake thinks about throwing his sketchbook into the ocean. He never does. He sleeps with it still and tries to dream his way back to drawing.
They take him to San Francisco. The harbor hoves into view under cloudy silver skies and for the first time in weeks Blake thinks about drawing. He doesn't reach for pen and ink 'til he's in the harbor, but then he does, and he draws the skyline with shaking, unpracticed hands.
In the city, Kash takes him to buy new clothes—secondhand, a novel experience. Nix secures him a ticket on an ocean liner going back to Hawaii, first class.
"You'll be okay?" Nix asks, at the foot of the Temptation's gangplank.
"I'll be alive," Blake answers. "I can't promise anything else, but I'll be alive." He looks up at her, meets her dark eyes. "Will I see you again?"
Nix shrugs. "I don't know. I hope so." Then she hugs him, tightly enough to punch the air from his chest. "Good luck out there," she says. "You'll fight them, promise?"
"Promise," Blake answers, though he can't promise anything.
Once Nix is gone back up the gangplank, Blake turns his back on the Temptation and looks out into San Francisco, with its stick style houses and its brisk, salty air.
Blake promised Nix he'd be alive. Time to go about living.
