Some in my class did! I don't know if the school provided them (typeclass was after school I think). They were not the really old-timey ones, they were more like this, a bit more modern:

But as I said in my tags, I learned it on the computer and that was pretty new and unusual at that time. I think only one friend in my class also learned it with the same method on the computer online and I remember that a salesperson or something came to our house to talk about starting the course. I don't remember at what age I learned to type, but I think that was perhaps like 15-20 years ago? (man now I feel really old...). Think I learned it in a transition period for how you would learn how to type :P.

Awww, thanks for sending me this message Anon, it makes my day to hear that! Always great to see other fans of that anime! The anime (Kaichou Wa Maid-sama for the people that don't know it) is one of my first Romcoms (first one was Ouran High School Host Club) and one that I found on my own without it being a recommondation from someone ^^. While there are many other great romcoms out there, this one holds a special place in my heart as being one of the first and I just like the main couple so much, I feel like I can relate with Misaki since she is so hardworking and I really like Usui and seeing them together is just amazing. The confession at the end is also just so great, now I want to rewatch it again haha. The manga is also one of the first ones I wanted, but it took a while to get it since the first translation only got a few volumes, so you can imagine my joy when I heard they were publishing them in omnibus versions!

I just checked my MAL to see if I had recorded when I watched it and dang, it has been 10 years already :') I'm feeling old lol. At least my love for romcoms is still here!

Loool, I thought it sort of explained that he was doing cat things (hadn't made that connection), so new questions arised about why is he doing cat shit but apparently that is not even the case lol. Will just have to keep watching the shows to figure it out then XD
