if I weren’t a coward (and severely behind on other fics) I’d write my next painting based drabble based on A Huguenot on St Bartholomew’s Day by John Everett Milais, but alack I am unable to hurt König’s s/o (i love kicking the man himself though LOL)

For those unaware, the white armband signified a devotion to Catholicism. The Catholic lady is trying to get her Huguenot lover to wear one to keep him safe from the ensuing massacre, but he’s pulling the cloth away because he’s accepted his fate :(
