I honestly think that the Destructix being either roboticized or more "infiltrator" robot doubles was a case of Justin Freddy Mendez Gabrie Romy Chacon doing one thing and other people doing another thing, leading to confusing contradictions. Like the whole ANONYMOUS thing. You had one writer who wanted it to be classic Robotnik and another who wanted it to be his stupid OC Robotnik and Ian had to cover up the inconsistencies saying ADAM did them on purpose.

Yeah, that about covers it. Initially it seemed he was gonna make it the original Robotnik as well, but if I were to hazard a guess, he was either told ‘no’ or realized that the backstory to it all would be a bit much for newer readers. A shame, but I can comprehend that. Otherwise, yeeah, there’s a reason a huge bulk of Flynn’s start on the book was dedicated to just trying to straighten things out.

When I googled "Justin Gabrie Romy Chacon" this showed up i imgur com/RMI8Vsf png

Hmmm... slight problem there, is that “F” in Justin Gabrie’s name is “Freddy”, not “Ferid”. So either Gabrie got a name change, has a brother called Justin as well, or that there is the most singularly massive coincidence imaginable.

I know you have no reason to believe a random anon, but just FYI it was Justin Gabrie writing -- he was just using his wife's maiden name. Earlier he went by Freddy Mendez and was very likely behind the art of "Many Hands" (still one person). As an aside, Scott Fulop and Kent Taylor are the same person too.

At this point I’m not all that sure what to believe, but I am willing to belive that there IS some kind of connection at work... and if he truly was ‘Many Hands’ then wow, he really was just the worst editor ever. Good lordy. 

The Kent Taylor thing I already knew about. Heck, Penders said he partially named the character ‘Mykhal Taelor’ after a ‘close friend’ of his, and evidently he and Scott Fulop were close.
