We were in the car going to the hotel. The first concert of the tour had started and Brad was more than happy about it and so was I. I really wanted to hug him and hold his hand as normal but I had to keep my distance the rest of the way or I would end up sucking his dick right now without caring about the driver or anything else.
That perfect red button-down shirt only made the moisture in the middle of my legs grow more and more. I wanted it, I really needed to get to the hotel room and make him fuck me like only he knew how.
“Are you okay? You haven't said something all the way” he said, getting me out of my thoughts.
“I'm fine, I'm just a little distracted, sorry” I responded with my gaze on the car window. Couldn't we get there faster?
“Okay…” He answered not very convinced.
The rest of the way was complete torture, I could only feel my desire growing and growing every time he breathed or moved his legs and let me see his perfect cock marked in his pants. Got damn! I could swear that I had never been so wet in all my life as I was now.
The moment we entered the hotel room and he closed the door, he couldn't hold back and chose to speak.
“All right, tell me what's up? You've been distracted since the concert ended and I'm worried, did something happen and you don't want to tell me? Didn't you like the concert? Believe me I can handle the criticism but I really thought you liked it”. He said as he pried more buttons off his shirt and pulled them out from inside his pants.
I swallowed hard and took my gaze off from the bare part of his torso "I-It's not th-that" I stuttered.
“What is it then?” He crossed his arms and his muscles were perfectly marked on his shirt. Some veins on his arms stood out and his scowl only made him look sexier.
“I can't take it anymore, sorry.” I ran my hands through my hair. “But this is your fault for wearing those pants, that red shirt, and those fucking rings. Fuck! your fingers.” I complained. “I've been distracted because I was trying not to give in to my urges but my panties are already too wet so could you please fuck me at once?”
The brown boy was only silent for a moment and then he laughed out loud. "It was that?" He asked. "You made me worried, Y/n! I thought you wanted to break up with me or something and apparently you just wanted sex." He laughed in denial. "Tell me what you want" he approached me "Tell me what you want and I will do it." He murmured with his lips brushing my cheek.
“Sorry, but seriously it's your fault for being so fucking sexy”. I felt his hands on my waist and my legs shook, I had never been so desperate. “I want your dick in my mouth, please.” His lips kissed my neck. “Please.” I repeated pleadingly.
“It's okay sweetheart. If you want to do it so much…” He acted difficult. “Sure you can.” He brought his hands up to his belt and slowly took it off, lowered his pants and directed her gaze to mine. His eyes were full of desire. "Come here" He held his member over his boxer shorts. "On your knees.” He demanded.
“On my knees” I nod and he puts a sofa cushion on the floor so my knees wouldn't hurt and I kneel in front of him.
“Go ahead, all yours.” He brought his hands to my hair and pulled it up so I was looking into his eyes. “I know we're both going to enjoy this, Y/n.” He said my name slowly and that only made me warmer.
I wasted no more time. I pulled his boxer down and his hard erection hit his stomach. There was some pre-cum that made me lick my lips as I watched him. I took his member in my hand and went up and up and down slowly while running my tongue over the tip. It tasted salty but coming from him, I loved everything.
“Damn, princess! That pretty mouth really knows how to do its job.” His face contorted with pleasure and his mouth parted as he felt my tongue on the tip of his penis. “Open your mouth.” He said seriously. I obeyed and closed my eyes waiting for him to introduce his big member into my mouth but that never happened. A hoarse laugh in his throat made me open my eyes again. “Did you expect my member? No, darling. If you want to, you will have to do it yourself.” He lowered his head and spat into my mouth. “Swallow.”
“Thanks.” I mumbled as soon as I swallowed her saliva.
“What did you say?” He asked with a frown.
“Thank you, sir” I corrected immediately and bit my lip. “Can I go back to work?” My pussy lips felt completely wet and sticky, there was no way I could stop it and I didn't plan on doing it. I was finally going to have what I was waiting for all night.
“Yes, sweetie. You can continue.” He nodded with a beautiful smile. I took his member again in my hands and this time I put it in my mouth taking what I could more. At least what my gag reflection allowed me. “Fuck!” He moaned loudly. "That's it, that's my girl.” He spoke between gasps with his head thrown back in pleasure.
I went up and down my hand with a cautious speed and used my saliva as a lubricant to make it easier. I thrust his cock down my throat and moved up and down deeply until I felt the need to breathe. I pulled it out of my mouth with a pop sound and a trickle of saliva still connecting us.
“Oh... Babe”. He sighed. “You look so innocent all the time in front of my friends and family. Everyone could swear that you are a total and complete angel”. He held my face by my chin with his thumb and forefinger. “And the truth is that you are an angel with the wishes of a demon. You make me sin but you make me touch the sky, isn't it strange?” He bit his lip. “Now be a good girl and open your mouth so daddy can fuck that pretty throat of yours.”
I opened my mouth and his member slammed into my throat making me have a gag reflex but I controlled it. My lashes bathed wet from my tears as I watched the muscles in his abdomen contract due to the force He was doing. The buttons he had unhooked gave me a perfect view of his god-sculpted abdomen. His eyes were closed and tight as he continued saying obscenities and fucking my mouth like there was no tomorrow. His veins pulsed and his dick felt harder than before so I assumed he was going to come and he did. He hit the back of my throat and painted everything with his cum. I waited for him to finish and swallowed it all so as not to waste anything. Also, I wiped his cock with my tongue and when he pulled it out of my mouth with a loud growl, I put my hands on the ground to breathe and steady myself.
“Are you tired?” He asked me with his heavy breathing and now his eyes looking directly at me.
“A bit.” I muttered. “But I'm fine.” I smiled with my eyes on his.
“Good because I'm not done yet.” He smiled and reached down to gently take me by the arms and lay me down on the bed. “Do you think you can handle it?” he asked as he kissed my neck and took bites.
“Yes, I can.” I gasped when he positioned himself between my legs and squeezed my butt tightly pulling me towards him. His hands lifted my dress and yanked my underwear off. “Bradley!” I looked at him with wide eyes.
“I'll buy you new underwear, I promise.” He murmured her with his face tucked between my legs and kissing the inner part of my thighs. “Love, I've never seen you so wet.” He spread my legs and ran his tongue between my folds in a slow way to collect as much of my fluids as he could.
My hands instinctively went to his hair to tug at it and my back arched in pleasure. His fingers found my entrance but they did not enter. He patted the area with four of his fingers and two of these he moved around the entrance.
“Bradley, stop teasing…” I moaned loudly when his thumb pressed my clit and he began to draw circles on it, keeping enough pressure to make me see stars and wanting to close my legs but he pressed them with his free hand to avoid it. The cold from his rings was felt throughout my core and many moans escaped my lips.
“I love the sound of your moans, especially when I'm the one causing them.” He slipped two of his fingers into my vagina and bent them a little to touch my G-spot.
“Fucking hell! Bradley..”. I moaned his name and closed my eyes. One more finger slid easily into my femininity thanks to how wet it was. His fingers moved fast and hit every point that made me moan and feel like an orgasm was forming in the lower part of my stomach. My forehead was sweaty and my hands were tugging at his hair getting several grunts and moans from his part that sent vibrations right to my center. One of his hands went up to one of my breasts and squeezed it with a little force causing me another loud moan and that my nipples went hard under the fabric of my dress. “Don't stop, never stop!” I cried
“I won't, baby” he murmured, licking and sucking on my pussy. His fingers were soon replaced by his tongue moving in and out of me quickly and deliciously.
Once again two of his fingers entered and moved roughly inside me. Her tongue squeezed and sucked on my clit and her other hand squeezed my other breast. That was the last thing I needed to cum on her lips with a loud moan of his name.
My vision turned white, my eyes slammed shut and my legs shook like Jelly. I held my breath for a few seconds trying to normalize it but it wasn't long because I felt something slide into my vagina all of a sudden making me moan even louder due to the over stimulation.
“I'm sorry my love. But I had to go in now or I would end again but this time on the room floor thanks to your exquisite moans.” He held still as I got used to his length.
His hands were on my waist and lifted my body so that his cock could fully enter me and contort my walls as only he knew how to do it. "You can move." I fixed my eyes on his.
"Finally!" He groaned, digging his fingers into my hips and starting to move with slow but rough speed. He came out halfway and entered me completely again in one fell swoop. "This cunt belongs to me and absolutely no one can make you feel as..." A heavy thrust. "As good as I do!" He exclaimed as the speed of his thrusts increased. "Take off that dress, please" he begged me with parted lips.
I took my hands to the buttons of my dress and took them off and then pulled it over my head. I also unzipped my bra and his eyes immediately went to my breasts. His eyes were pure pupils, they were completely filled with lust.
He lifted my legs over his shoulders and managed to go even deeper with each thrust. He lowered his face to my height and kissed my lips with pure love and ferocity. "Fuck! You don't know how much I love you!" He hid his face in my neck and sucked on my skin leaving a hickey that would be visible later.
"I love you too!" I exclaimed. At that moment I was a sweaty, moaning mess. I changed our positions so that he was under me. I inserted his member into my wet cunt and jumped over and over again, inserting his member into me just the way I liked it.
"Shit shit shit! Y/n!" He dug his fingers into my ass hard and covered my walls with his cum. It didn't take me too long to reach my ecstasy and I ended up on his cock doing a mixture of our cumshots.
"This was a thousand times better than I expected" I mentioned with my face hidden in the crock of his neck and his collarbone. "I didn't remember you were that huge!" I giggled.
"You have a bad memory then" He teased and kissed my head. He came out of my vagina and went for wet towels to clean us up.
Once we were clean, we crawled under the covers completely naked.
"I'll have to wear that red shirt more often. I like the effect it has on you." He put a lock of my hair behind my ear and kissed my lips sweetly.
"I'm Y/n and I approve of this message" I teased and bit his lip. I closed my eyes and it didn't take long for me to fall asleep. I love that red shirt, I really do.

A Strange New Student
Summary:
Ginn is a new student in a prestigious London private school. It’s pretty obvious she is not the type to be in private school, but is that going to stop her? Honestly, she doesn’t even know the answer to that one.
But she does have a pretty good guess, when she meets Alex, Martin, George, Louise, and Elsie. They are pretty different from her. They seem nice enough, but will her past lessons allow her let them in? Another good question.
Word count: 6542
--------------------------
The large, stone hallways of Churchill high school were a lot less busy than Ginn’s old public school back in Liverpool. She guessed that was because barely anyone was able to afford the tuition to actually attend this school. How she got in was a complete miracle, sparked by some pretty unfortunate events.
The biggest understatement of her life.
Ginn was not used to anything that she had already faced in this new school at all, and she had only been in the building ten minutes. The students hanging around in the hallway before class were well behaved, milling around and chatting instead of running and fighting. The floors and lockers were clean, free of graffiti and chewing gum. The uniforms were the weirdest part; everyone wore it neat and proper, the boys’ ties being evenly tied, their shirts neatly tucked into their trousers, which were not sagging halfway down their butts, and their blazers free of burn holes and glue stains. The girls’ skirts were closer to the knee than the butt, their blouses also neatly tucked, and their cardigans neatly buttoned. Everyone’s shoes were perfectly shined, not a scuff in sight.
Every student had neatly styled hair, not a strand out of place. They all had perfect posture, shoulders squared and backs straight, the girls tending to keep their feet touching each other. Their faces shone with happy, satisfied smiles. There was no anger, hunger, or sadness in these people’s lives. Very different to what Ginn saw back in Liverpool. It was obvious these teenagers knew their place in the world. So did Ginn, and it was not surrounded by these people. They made that clear with their odd looks.
She stood out for many reasons around these people. For one, she was the only girl wearing trousers and a tie. Ginn flat out refused to wear a skirt, and the rules said trousers could not be worn without a tie, so she was stuck in the unflattering, unfitted, too big boy’s uniform. Her tie was relatively neat, but she had not buttoned the top of her shirt, and pulled the tie down slightly to accommodate the room the lack of a top button provided. her blazer sleeves had been rolled up slightly to accommodate her shorter arms. Her shirt was tucked in, but it was not neat. the sides of the shirt were bunched up, as she had tried to angle it in a way it was more fitted to her feminine frame. It was not working, but she felt comfortable. When Ginn stood, she leant on one leg, arms crossed, and her feet obviously not touching. Her shoulders slumped, and her hands folded into fists, no matter whether she was walking or standing. When she walked, her back curved forwards slightly, and her eyes shifted between everything that moved, glaring into every pair of eyes she met. Ginn had to be aware of everything that was happening around her. Just a little compulsion of hers. Her hair was cut short, mostly jar length, with layers getting shorter as they went up, and a fringe cut in line with her eyes, parted favouring the left side, and whilst that was not abnormal for girl, it was expected that she would make an attempt to calm and style her messy mop of ginger hair. But she didn’t. She liked it messy. It gave her an excuse to have her fringe covering her left eye. You see, Ginn had heterochromia. Her right eye was a bright, electric blue, whilst her left eye was a shining light brown, almost orange when the light hit it just right. Ginn preferred to cover her left eye with her hair, as it blended in with the orange strands better than the blue did. That, and the brown colour was not the genetic colour. Her mother had blue eyes, and her father had green eyes, so brown was definitely not a family eye colour.
Ginn could tell people were looking at her as she wondered the fancy hallways towards the administration office, though she couldn’t tell if this was because of her rough, stand-offish appearance, or the fact that it was early November, and she was a new student entering year 10. Honestly, Ginn didn’t care which one it was. She didn’t expect to form relationships with these people.
She managed to reach the administration office, where she was expected to pick up her time table and ID card, after a few minutes of cluelessly wondering around, following strange signs written in the worst font for someone like her; cursive. How is that acceptable, you may ask? It honestly isn’t, but this school had an aesthetic to stick to. Ginn was dyslexic, so anything that wasn’t block letters or her own handwriting was torture to read. As she reached the old looking, oak wood door, she straightened her back and readjusted her backpack, forcing her face to change from confrontational to neutral. This was the face she preferred to show in front of adults, as they could never figure out what emotion she was feeling so they struggled to ask her questions. She opened the door and walked up to the desk, waiting for the old woman sitting, typing on her computer, to look up at her. She did quickly, luckily.
“Hello there! What can I do for you today?” Her voice was far too perky and high pitched. It irritated Ginn’s ears. Ginn forced her face to remain neutral, pushing down her natural, uncomfortable reaction, so she could respond as quick as possible.
“I’m the new student. I was told to pick up my stuff here.”
“Ahh, yes! Ginn Ranger, am I correct?” The woman squeaked, smile never faltering.
“Yeah, that’s me.” Ginn avoided eye contact, uncomfortable with her full name being announced.
The woman rooted around the organised mess that sat on her desk, until she found the right envelope that held Ginn’s ID card and timetable. She handed it to Ginn and asked her to sit down for a moment, as the headmaster wished to speak to her before classes started. Ginn forced herself to swallow a groan as she nodded and took a seat next to the desk, facing the door to the headmaster’s office. Her leg bounced quickly as she stared into space, trying to concentrate on her thoughts rather than the loud world she lived in. She slouched in her seat after finding a comfortable place in her imagination to rest. Sadly, it only took two minutes for her to be called into Headmaster Windsor’s office.
“Hello, Miss Ranger.” Mr Windsor was far more serious. much more pleasant to Ginn’s ears. “It is a pleasure to finally have you here.”
Ginn only forced a smile as she sat awkwardly in the chair. Her eyes quickly scanned the room, taking in every detail she could. the shelves behind Mr Windsor mostly held the textbooks this school studied. Two of the four shelves held the textbooks. one held a collection of frames, some holding pictures of what Ginn assumed to be Windsor’s family, other holding certificates. One was a certification of first aid, one an inclusivity certificate, another being Windsor’s degree in teaching. The inclusivity certificate intrigued Ginn, as she knew for a fact that this school was pretty exclusive.
‘Guess it’s for everything except class.’ She thought to herself.
The final shelf held folders, ordered by category. The first was labelled ‘Enrolment’. The second was labelled ‘Disciplinary Reports’. The third was ‘Human Resources’. The fourth one was what Mr Windsor pulled off the shelf and flicked through. It was labelled ‘Inclusive Support’. Yay.
“So, Miss Ranger-” Ginn interrupted Windsor.
“Call me Ginn.” She said quickly and sheepishly, shoving her hands under her legs to avoid her usually gesturing that annoyed so many adults. “I prefer just Ginn.”
“Ok then.” Mr Windsor peered over the top on his reading glasses, unhappy with the interruption. “Ginn. Your old school transferred us your files and records last week, and I feel we must discuss some things before you head to classes.”
Ginn bit her lip and nodded. She had always gotten pretty good scores in lessons, but she was by far the favourite student to any teacher she ever had. She had a tendency to speak her mind, even when out of terms. Especially then, actually. She also did not have the best track record when it came to peer relations. Most of her past incidents were not her fault, but she had to claim some as her own doing. What could she say? She knows how to stick up for herself.
“These records say you are a very smart young girl, you could thrive in an academic environment, if provided with the right resources. This is why our scholarship program chose you to be our first representative of the… less fortunate.” Windsor hesitated with that last part. He really needed to brush up on his appropriate language book.
‘Just say I’m poor and move on.’ Ginn thought to herself.
“However,” the dreaded sentence conjunctive. “You do have a worrying amount of negative peer relations reports. I must tell you, Ginn. Fighting is strictly prohibited on the campus of this school.”
Ginn let her voice take the lead. “What’s your stance on fighting in self-defence? Mine is that is fine to fight, as long as you don’t start it. Pretty sure those records say that’s what I did.”
Oh dear. She really should have thought before speaking.
Windsor looked exasperated. Ginn was clearly not the first wise crack he had dealt with. “I believe anything can be sorted with the right words. As long as it is reported, it will be dealt with.”
“What about the times it can’t be reported?” Ginn’s voice deepened as she became serious. “That’s what happened in my experience. I couldn’t report it, and if I could, nothing happened, so I sorted it myself. Sure you wont have to worry though. This doesn’t exactly seem like the place where fights happen.”
Windsor chuckled and nodded. “You are an interesting young lady, miss- Ginn. I’m sure you will fit in with the class I have placed you in. All of your teachers have been informed of your mental heath and learning difficulties, as per your request.”
Ginn hated how that was phrased, but she thanked him anyway. ‘Gotta try and be polite’, after all.
“I have assigned a young man to help guide you around school as you settle in.” Oh no. forced interaction. “He should be outside now.”
as Windsor finished his sentence, the phone device on his desk beeped, and the voice of the receptionist through the door sounded out, saying ‘a Mr Peterson was here to see Headmaster Windsor.’ Windsor told the receptionist to send him in, and the device buzzed, causing Ginn to cringe. That sound was horrible!
Before she could fully recover, the door opened behind her and a boy around her age walked in. He had pale white skin, with bright blond hair, shaved at the sides and combed over, the parting favouring the right side of his head. His eyes were cornflower blue, shining and bright. He had a small, wonky smile on his face as he greeted the headmaster and took a seat on Ginn’s right side.
“This is Alex Peterson. He will be, what we call, your class escort.” Windsor introduced the boy to Ginn, and the boy turned to Ginn and smiled, offering his hand to shake, which she just looked at nodded to him. Windsor broke the awkward tension between the two and continued. “He will show you around until you are comfortable with your surroundings.”
Ginn hated this idea. She could see why they implemented it, many people would want it, but she was not one of those people. She would much rather just figure it out on her own, even if it meant being late to all her classes.
“The bell is about to ring. You two should head off now.” Windsor gestured to the door, and the two teens picked up their bags and walked out.
“So…” The boy, Alex, said, drawing out the ‘O’ sound. “Can I see your schedule? Just so I know for sure where you are?”
Ginn wordlessly shoved the piece of paper into Alex’s hand, still avoiding eye contact with him. Alex shot her a strange look, realising this was going to be so much harder than he originally thought. He did think she would be quiet, being new and all, but dang.
“Cool, you’re in mine and my friend’s form.” he handed back the paper to the new girl and started walking, being closely followed by her. “You’ll like Mr Caxton, he’s fun.”
Ginn hummed in response. God, she was not making it easy for Alex.
The bell rang and Ginn tensed, her shoulders squaring, and her fists clenching. Another loud, irritating noise. This school was just made to make her uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, Alex had noticed her reaction to the sound. “You ok? It’s just the bell, no need to worry.” he chuckled.
“Fine.” Ginn grumbled through gritted teeth. She started storming off down the corridor without a plan, and luckily Alex jogged to catch up to her before she reached the turning point.
Alex desperately wanted to break the awkward air between them, but did not know how. This girl seemed tense, understandably, as she seemed quite strange to the standards of this school, so he did not know how to approach anything with her.
“So… where you from?” Alex asked, trying to study her body language. She walked like she was trying to look tough, as well as be silent in her steps. She succeeded on both aspects as she definitely looked intimidating, and her steps barely echoed around the halls.
Ginn subtly looked Alex up and down, figuring out his motive, in both the question and with helping her. He stood straight and proud, taller than her by a good few inches. Although, that wasn’t hard, as Ginn was only 5”3’. She estimated him to be about 5”9’, and she guessed he still had room to grow. He was looking at her expectantly with a small smile, his blue eyes shining in curiosity. She could see no malice in his wonderment, so she answered.
“Liverpool.” She said, bluntly. To be exact, she lived in a small terrace house, in Roscoe Street, very close to her primary school, Pleasant Street Primary. Ginn had hopped around several high schools in the past four years, so she couldn’t say how far she lived from them. She did not live in a great area, but it was close to the city centre, and she always felt safe there with her parents. She missed Liverpool.
Alex nodded, biting the inside of his mouth in mild frustration at Ginn’s refusal so converse. “Cool. Good city. What brought you to London then?”
“Family stuff.”
The two sighed, knowing that conversation was not going to happen right now.
The two arrived at the classroom after everyone else had arrived and sat down. Alex greeted the teacher with a cheerful ‘good morning’ and he sat down on a table for four, with two other boys, whom he greeted and immediately started chatting and laughing with. The boy sitting next to him had slightly more tanned skin than Alex, but he was still quite pale. He had neat, honey brown hair, with a full fringe that was cut just under his eyebrows, the top of head was thick with hair facing forwards, and what Ginn estimated as one inch clipped shaving around the rest of his head. His eyes were forest green, thoughtfully staring at Alex as he spoke, but also at someone on the other side of the room Ginn couldn’t locate. The other boy had his back to Ginn, but from what she could see, he had dark, sun kissed skin, and the only messy head of mahogany brown hair she had seen in this school. Well, there was an order to this mess, unlike the mess that sat on her own head. His hair was methodically spiked up, then brushed forward. He appeared to have every portion of his hair cut to a similar length, apart from the front.
Ginn heard her name and she turned, seeing the teacher beckoning her towards his desk. she walked over, head down.
“You must be Miss Ranger!” Oh god, he was perky. “Now, I like to ask before I start teaching new students, if you don’t mind, what would you like me to call you, and what pronouns shall I use for you? And are they the same in class, privately, and in front of other adults?”
Ginn blinked at the sudden questions as she let her mind catch up with her ears. “Just Ginn, thanks. Female pronouns, all the time.” She said quietly.
“Perfect.” Mr Caxton smiled softly at Ginn, then continued. “I have been told of the support you require, so don’t be afraid to approach me any time!”
Ginn felt extremely awkward, biting her lower lip, and nodding, avoiding eye contact. She always hated it when her personal stuff was brought up by other people. She knew they were only trying to help, but it never helped Ginn. all she did was nod.
“Ok, so everyone in this class has their seat. I had everyone choose to sit somewhere at the beginning of the year and that is where they sit for the rest of the year. The only available seat is across from your guide, Alex. Go sit down, and we’ll start up, ok?”
Ginn glanced over at the table of three boys. She would be sitting next to the dark-skinned boy. He looked like the more energetic person in the trio. Freaking fabulous. At least the seat was on the left side, so she wouldn’t be bumping elbows with the seemingly right-handed boy.
Ginn had nothing against boys. Truly, she didn’t. She was just very insular, and teenage boys tended to be pretty rambunctious. She also didn’t exactly have a perfect track record with relations. Not just with boys, girls too. But, well, Ginn’s short, slim stature was not a good match up when she fought with boys. Luckily, she is quick, so at least she has that going for her.
She sighed and walked over to the table, unslinging her bag off her shoulder and sat down, immediately leaning on her hand and staring at the floor. She dazed, and started thinking about what she could draw. She thought of characters from tales she enjoyed, and she started moving her finger on one spot of the table, mimicking drawing. This was something she did when uncomfortable. Actually drawing is much better, but she hated showing others her stuff, so rarely drew when sitting at a table with strangers. Or classmates, as she should call them.
the three boys had noticed Ginn sitting down, and turned to her to smile and greet her, but she was avoiding all eye contact. Alex shrugged, realising this was going to be his week. Boy to Ginn’s right decided to break the awkward silence by introducing himself.
He went to speak, nudging her first to get he attention, but before he could speak, she jumped at the sudden touch, tensing her shoulders and clenched her fists, straightening her back and gasping lightly. Her duel coloured eyes stayed locked staring forwards, and she took a few breaths before she snapped her head to look at the boy and growl, “What?”
Now she could see his face, she took in his features. He looked nervous, likely due to Ginn’s aggressive nature. He had warm, russet brown eyes that where currently wide in shock. He was handsome, with a square jaw, and strong cheekbones. His mouth was tight in shock at her reaction. Luckily for him, he recovered quickly. His eyes softened into a more relaxed form, and his tight mouth morphed into a cool side smile.
“Hey,” his voice was smooth and joyous. Enjoyable to Ginn’s ears. Wait what? “I’m Martin Williams. This is George Groden, and you’ve met Alex. It seems like we’re desk mates!”
Ginn struggled to relax her muscles from the sudden touch. She swallowed and forced her hands to open as she shoved them under her thighs. Her voice was failing her, so she just looked back at the table and nodded, humming ‘mm hmm’.
The boy, Martin, made eye contact with the other two, concerned by the reaction. He decided to pry a little, tying to get Ginn out of her shell. “Ginn, right? Interesting name, never heard it before. Where’s it come from?”
Ginn was shocked by the question. Usually when people found out about her name, they made a joke about alcoholic parents, or threw out guesses as to what it was short for. Her name was Ginn. Not Ginera, or Ginevra, or even Geneva, shockingly. This question made Ginn happy, and her vocal cords decided to work.
“It’s a combination of Gill and Finn.” Ginn kept her head down but was smiling lightly for the first time in a while. “Gill was my mum’s mum, and Finn was dad’s dad. They wanted to honour both of them, so it was either Ginn or Fill, and Ginn was pretty gender neutral.”
She huffed in amusement at that last bit. the story of her naming was always interesting to her, especially when you think of the whole story of a young pregnant woman and her husband staring at each other, trying to make the other back down, until they came to the compromise of combining the names.
“That’s cool!” Martin said, enthusiastically. “You have such an interesting story! I’m just names after my grandad!”
Ginn smiled, amused by the boy’s excitement.
Before they could continue, the teacher cleared his throat and started the lesson. It was English. This was not the best subject for Ginn due to her dyslexia, but she had a creative mind, and enjoyed story telling, so it wasn’t so bad. Well, unless they were reading old stuff, like Shakespeare or Jane Austen, they were utter torture for Ginn’s brain. Sadly, that is exactly what they were doing. Romeo and Juliet, to be exact. They started the lesson reading the play, the characters being assigned to a random assortment of students. Ginn struggled to follow along as they worked, not understanding anything they were saying. The words were floating around the page, lines and letters flipping and swapping place, it was giving her a headache. It didn’t help that the most dramatic character in the play, Mercutio, was being voiced by Martin, who was slowly becoming more and more dramatic in his reading, his movements rocking the table, making reading even harder for her.
After they had finished the first four scenes, Mr Caxton instructed the class to discuss them as a table. Ginn was thankful for this as she could finally rest her eyes for a minute. She rubbed her eyes and led her hands up to brush her hair up out of her face, letting it fall how it wanted, which was apparently not in front of her eyes. She looked at the trio of boys expectantly, waiting for a conversation to start, when she noticed they were all staring at her. Alex looked shocked, staring curiously, eyes switching between each of her eyes. George seemed curious, one eyebrow raised, and a small smile spread on his lips. Martin was far too excited for Ginn’s taste.
“Woah!! You have heterochromia?!” He said far too loud. “That’s so cool!”
Ginn quickly dipped her head and brushed her fringe over her brown eye, feeling her face flush red.
“If you say so...” She muttered under her breath.
This conversation was clearly going nowhere, much to the dismay of the three boys. Ginn was obviously not a conversation person, and the boys were not interested in discussing Shakespeare, so decided to further press.
“You don’t think so?” George questioned.
“Let’s just say it’s not my favourite thing about myself.” Ginn grumbled, shooting them a sarcastic and awkward smile. The boys shared a look, all expressing different thoughts and emotions. Martin locked eyes with his friends, then looked at Ginn quickly, and back at them, wiggling his eyebrows and smirking. The boys shot him warning looks, but he ignored it, turning around to look at Ginn, leaning his elbow on the table and putting his head on his hand, wearing his flirtatious, lopsided smirk.
“Well,” He said, making Ginn look us at him. Once she saw his face, she huffed, rolling her eyes, and looked back down at her work. “I think they are beautiful, completing the gorgeous image you hold all over.”
Ginn felt panic rise in her chest. She had never been complimented like that before from the mouth of someone who... had little to no obvious ill intentions. This boy did not seem to be particularly threatening, but still, Ginn could not be help but be wary. She clenched her fist around her pen in panic, as her defence mechanisms snapped into position.
“Say anything like that again,” She turned and glared at Martin through her hair. “And I break your hand.”
Martin tensed up, squeaking in fear as his arm slipped off the table in surprise. Ginn did not break eye contact, however, needing to maintain her tough exterior.
“Well ok then.” He squeaked. Pleased with herself, Ginn looked back down at her work, deciding to do the work herself. The boys fell silent and just did the work, quietly discussing Shakespeare out of fear for their hands.
At the end of the class, after a long lesson of awkward silence between the four tablemates, the boys packed up and met with Elsie and Louise. Ginn had rushed out of the classroom a lot quicker that the others, so Alex had already failed at his job of making sure she was ok. This was going to be a rough day.
The final class of the day was P.E. Luckily for Ginn, sport was something she excelled in. Unluckily for Ginn, she had to get changed in front of other people, which was less than ideal.
Alex instructed her to follow Louise and Elsie to the girls’ changing rooms. Ginn kept her head down and shuffled along with the other girls as they chatted, complaining about the lesson they were going into.
“P.E. sucks, I hate it so much!” Louise groaned, dramatically. “I mean, I like exercise, but the structure of P.E. is so messy, and its so boring!”
“I know!” Agreed Elsie. “It’s even worse right now, doing those weird drill things.”
Ginn perked up at that comment. If they were anything like the ones she used to do in Cadets, she was golden! She didn’t look at the other girls, but she did smile and huff in satisfaction.
“You like P.E., Ginn?” Said Louise, sounding surprised. The girl looked Ginn up and down quizzically. She did not exactly fit the typical description of a fit girl. She looked very skinny, but Louise guessed that was mainly due to her oversized uniform.
Ginn hesitated with her answer, wondering how to answer without sounding weird. “Yeah, kind of. I like exercise, and I’m used to pretty strict sessions, so nothing really bothers me much anymore.”
The other girls seemed satisfied with her answer luckily.
After only moments, the three girls had reached the girls’ changing room. As the tried to find a free section of bench to place their bags and clothes, Ginn was silently praying that no one would pay attention to her so she could change and slip out unnoticed. She utterly hated changing in public. Sadly, her prayers were not answered, as the only available space was on a bench in the middle of the room, with a group of chatty girls surrounding it. Perfect. The three set down their bags and started undressing, quickly swapping from blouse to P.E. polo shirt. Ginn was particularly mad about their easy method of swapping from skirt to shorts without presenting their underwear; slipping the shorts on under their skirts, then taking off the skirt from above. Ginn, wearing trousers, had no such luxury, so had to take advantage of her too big shirt and take off her trousers, hoping they would cover her behind as she slipped the shorts on. Now for the bit she dreaded: changing from shirt to polo. She wanted to do this as quickly as possible, but struggled due to her ever growing anxiety. She slipped off her tie and unbuttoned her shirt, then readied her polo shirt to be the correct way to slip on as soon as she rid her back of it’s professional cotton attire. Quickly, she took off the shirt, and immediately heard what she feared.
Louise and Elsie had gasped, quietly. They had finished changing and lacing up their trainers, and were waiting for Ginn to finish changing so they could walk out together, and happened to glance up when they saw her take off her shirt. The two girls were sitting on Ginn’s right, so they could see what Ginn was worried about clear as day. Right across her back, from the bottom of her shoulder blade, creeping up to the top curve of her right shoulder, were two long, pale, jagged, and bumpy scars. They looked awful, and the two girls were certain that they were from a horrible incident from a long time ago. This scared them, as they worried about Ginn’s safety and current situation.
Before they could say anything, Ginn tugged her polo shirt over her head, hiding the scars before anyone could ask questions, or, god forbid, anyone else saw them. Louise opened her mouth to speak. She was not sure what she would say, but it was instinct. Before she could make a sound, however, Ginn shot her a warning glare, her blue eye shining like a lightning storm, her amber eye shimmering like a raging fire. Her lips were tight and eyebrows knitted in a tight V-shape. Her ginger hair had fallen before her face, blocking the light from reaching her face, only making the looming pit of aggression in Ginn’s aura stronger. Her fists were tight. Louise only just realised the new girl’s flat and scarred knuckles. Louise immediately shut her mouth. She offered an awkward, slightly scared smile, but Ginn just straightened her back, slipped on her battered old trainers, and started towards the door. Louise and Elsie shared a concerned look, then darted up and dashed to keep up with Ginn, who had suddenly developed a quick, strong stride.
Once all of the students had gathered in the sports hall, the P.E. teacher, Mr Dullan, called registration and introduced the aim of today’s class. The class knew they would not like this lesson. Mr Dullen was clearly in a bad mood, he was completely stiff and glaring at everyone who made eye contact with him. Ginn was not happy when he grabbed her shoulder and pulled her to face him when she marched into the hall, so he could interrogate her about who she was. He seemed satisfied after a full 30 seconds of comparing her to the ID picture that was on his register. But, this was a respectable school that definitely would not accept her doing what she wanted to do at that moment, and tuition was far too expensive for her to be kicked out on her first day, so she let it go.
“Ok, everyone!” Mr Dullen shouted, making a huge, distracting echo ring around the room. Ginn knew she would barely be able to understand him immediately. “I don’t want to deal with teaching you all today, so you’re just going to do run laps around the school grounds all lesson.”
The entire class groaned and started quietly complaining to themselves and their friends. Well, all except Ginn, who enjoyed running. Also, the echo in this room was getting to her, and she was finding it hard to concentrate. She silently thanked every deity she knew of that the run was outside.
“Alright, alright, quit the complaining!” Mr Dullen yelled, making Ginn bunch up the hem of her polo shirt in her hand to squeeze. She found early on that this was a better coping mechanism than her automatic reaction, which was covering her ears and gripping locks of hair and pulling. Distractions from bad noises are always oh so fun. Mr Dullen carried on, interrupting Ginn’s thoughts, “Everyone get your butts outside!”
The crowd of grumbling students headed towards the doors leading to the yard so they could start the run. Before Ginn could disappear into the crowd and go off to enjoy her run, Louise had grabbed her wrist and started to speak.
“Hey, are you ok? We should talk abo—”
“Do not touch me!” Ginn growled, ripping her hand away from Louise, immediately marching off in a strong, quick pace.
As soon as she set foot on the outside area of the school grounds and witnessed part of the crowd all heading in the same direction, she started her rounds of the school with a light jog, preparing her body and lungs for a long, pleasant run. She really needed to calm her mind, after everything that had happened today, especially in the last few minutes.
Louise was incredibly confused by that reaction. She had noticed Ginn tense up and ball her shirt in her fist, and she knew Ginn had not calmed down from whatever emotion she was feeling after presenting those scars in the changing rooms.
“What was that about?” George said, the four friends walking up to Louise so they could walk the laps of the grounds together.
“She’s seemed pretty tense all day.” Alex offered. “Maybe you just scared her and she reacted.”
She definitely has something she’s hiding.” Elsie said, as the group wondered outside and started walking. “She had two huge scars on her back. She got real tense, more than usual, when we saw them.”
“Let’s go find out what’s up with her.” Louise said, determination in her voice. Then, she sounded unsure. “If we can catch up to her...”
Ginn was no where to be seen as they walked their round. They knew this because Ginn was extremely noticeable in the crowd of students, being one of the only people in the school with ginger hair. She was even more noticeable because her hair was messy and choppily cut short, and her P.E. kit, like her uniform, was too big and looked it. They walked quickly around the grounds, talking and looking around. Ginn was nowhere to be seen.
“She must actually be running.” Martin shrugged. “That girl is an enigma.”
“An enigma you’re crushing on!” Alex said teasingly, elbowing his friend in the side and laughing.
“Shut up!” Martin pushed Alex to the side, a crimson blush rising in his cheeks. “I am not!”
“Then what was that comment in the changing room about?” George smirked and raised and eyebrow.
“Ok!” Martin’s dramatic flare revealed itself as dramatically waved his hand in the air and pointing at nothing in particular. “You have to admit, she is quite pretty!”
Martin stared a the group, waiting expectantly for their response, to which he got a couple nods, but mostly just looks of ‘my dear boy, calm yourself’.
The group continued to walk around the school grounds, giving up on searching for the strange new girl, she was far gone and they could not see her at all. The lesson went by relatively quickly, the group only lapping the school once and only going another 20 yards before Mr Dullen blew his whistle and called everyone into the changing rooms five minutes before the final bell rang. The five friends wondered back into the school, avoiding the stares of disapproval from Mr Dullen.
Louise and Elsie were slowly changing out of their kits when Ginn finally appeared by their side. She was sweating slightly, despite the November chill outside, and her breaths were long, quick, and laboured. As expected, she did not greet the girls, she just started changing, first preparing her shirt to be quickly thrown on after she removed her polo. Louise and Elsie tried not to look at her, feeling her haste and discomfort with being around people after what happened earlier. However, Louise is a pretty stubborn girl, so waited for Ginn to finish changing before she confronted her.
“Hey, where were you all class?” Louise tried to keep her voice perky and welcoming, rather than the interrogating tone she almost used. “we were looking for you when you ran off.”
Ginn let out a small growl of annoyance. “Ahead of everyone. Just needed to run.”
She removed her shorts, her shirt covering her underwear, and slipped on her trousers, then sat down to put on her school shoes. She never looked at Louise. Not that that was expected. This girl is so strange.
“You must be quick then!” Louise laughed lightly. Ginn just hummed. “It’s pretty impressive, running is pretty hard.”
This made Ginn’s head snap up, shooting Louise a confused look. “How is it hard?”
Louise and Elsie shared an amused look. Elsie laughed lightly and said, “You know, keeping pace without losing your breath, stuff like that.”
Ginn hummed thoughtfully whilst finishing up lacing her shoes. Once she was done, she stood and picked up her bag, just in time for the final bell to ring. Ginn attempted to supress her cringe at the sound, but her efforts were in vane, as the other two girls noticed. Luckily for Ginn, all they did was share a look and stand with their bags.
“Not sure I follow, but ok.” Ginn broke the silence, starting to walk out alone. However, Louise and Elise had other plans, both speeding to catch up to her and standing on either side.
“You’re a real enigma, you know?” Louise chuckled. That was apparently the wrong thing to say, as Ginn glared at her, a quiet and low growl echoing from the bottom of her throat. Her eyes raged, like a fearsome lightning storm and a blazing fire. Even though she is a very small person, Ginn knew how to make herself look large and terrifying.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Erm... well, I... I just meant that you, well,” Louise stuttered and squeaked, as if she were learning how to speak again. “I just mean that you’re, you know, pretty mysterious...”
Ginn grunted and said something like ‘that’s the point’ as she stormed off, out of the building and around the corner towards the front gates, not to be seen again that day.
“Well, you kinda fucked that one up, huh?” Elsie chortled anxiously.
“Thanks for helping there Els. Come on, let’s just go find the boys.”
Alex, George, and Martin exited the boys changing room a few minutes later. The girls explained what happened as they walked out of the school and back home. The only thing they could all agree on when it came to Ginn: She would be very difficult to befriend.

Snow day Prompt: Bittersweet meeting *p1*
“Looks like it'll be a big storm. Don't think the others are coming today.." The seventeen year old stated as he looked at the start of snowfall.
Part of him wanted to leave as well but his pride as club leader president wouldn't allow him, you never know who might need some assistance or help in this school, which is why he created the 'Crystal gems'.
From student counseling to school events to setting parlays between students, the Crystal gems goal is to make every Diamond high student as smooth as possible. Which is why they, for the most part, butt heads with student council every so often.
The SC feels that the CG overstep their boundaries at times. Though they cannot deny the good they have done. Even if their methods come off as questionable. It's less animosity and more of a rivalry between the two on whose better for the school. Still they get some funding from the treasury cause they are an official club, that get results.
“Universe..Shouldn't you be heading out?”  a gruff voice called out to him. He turned to see  three girls standing in the hall, looking in.He gave them a small smile before taking a seat on the club rooms sofa.
“Awe...You're worry about me Jasp, That's sweet of you cuz.”
The girl in question scoffed lightly as she hid her small smile under her orange scarf. Tall and muscular but also very feminine, with wild white hair, gold contacts and faded brown skin with white  stripes of vitiligo; which only made her more exotic. Her name’s Jasper, vice president of the student council and his younger cousin.
Behind her stood two others. A slender woman of average height and a swimmers build. Her ocean colored hair and dark sand colored skin, with striking eyes as blue as her namesake Lapis lazuli. She was the secretary of the  student council and scuba team Captain.
The last part of this trio was small and shapely, just braking five feet, five-three with her gravity defying, greenish-blonde hair, a natural light tan, her infamous goggles over some of the brightest green eyes you'd ever seen. The student council treasurer and fire cracker, Peridot.
all three were dress in the standard academy  uniform( White blazer, yellow blouse, pink tie and blue skirt) under their wool, leather  and down coats, respectively.
“Joking aside, she's right Steven..We're supposed to be getting a few feet through the night. It's best if you head home now, before it gets worst...We’d wait for you, if you want.”  The bluenette suggested with a small smile.
“Tempting, but I still have some work to finish, beside you never know who might need some advice.”  Lapis’s smiled faltered a bit at his refusal.
“Told you, he'd say no. Him and Boss are both the same.” Peridot sighed exasperatedly
“So, the President still here as well? That works in my favor, there something i wanted to discuss with her.”
The three girls looked as Steven to rub his chin and a small smirk appeared on his lips. While Peridot grinned, almost cackled; Jasper sent Lapis a apologetically knowing glance, who in responded in a slight wave. Jasper cleared her throat before walking up to Steven, her left hand open and free, her right held the keys to her car.
“Your keys, give’em here Steven.”
Steven would have argued a bit, but the fact that she used her ‘family’ tone and gave him the look she always did when she was worried about other, left him no resistance. He dug into the back of his slacks and produced a key to his motorcycle with a small pink lion plush on one of the chains.  The two exchanged keys, before Jasper headed to the locker in the far left and grabbed three helmets and some goggles from it. She passed the green one to Peridot, a blue to Lapis and kept a large orange one and the goggles for herself.
“Don’t stay too late Steven…”
“And you don’t go too fast on lion…”  He turned towards the other two “Make sure she don’t break 25, just because it’s not that bad yet and I had the tires redone for the season, dosen't mean your perfectly safe.”
Lapis and Peridot gave their word, despite Jasper protest of being a responsible driver. A protest that ended shortly after Steven admitted to trusting her with his ride, making her feel a bit smug.
“Alright guys, we should head home before we all have to load up in Jasper tuna can of a car.”
Jasper growled at Peridot’s comment before giving her cousin a quick one armed hug, Not to be left out; Peridot gave the young man a quick friendly hug causing the tallest girl to roll her eyes and Steven to chuckle.  He blushed when he heard Peri whispered something into his stomach and the sly look on her face didn’t help. He shook his head as she broke the hug and basically skipped out of the room once again joking about Jasper car when she was a good ways away, causing Jasper to chase after her. Lapis  and Steven looked as the two took off, when they heard Peri yelled.
“MAKE SURE TO TAKE THE PRESIDENT HOME AS WELL, GOOO~OOD LUU~UUUCK!”
“I better go before she kills Peri.”
“Yeah, that’s a good idea. Get home safe, Lappie.”  Red face and head down, Lapis delivered a weak trembling punch to the boys stomach.
“You rejected me already, so save that charm for her...I’m rooting for you”
With a small kiss upon his cheek and a wipe of a tear, Lapis ran to catch up with Jasper and Peri. Steven shook his head with a sigh as he turned around and laid on the couch.  He watched as the snow lightly fell, with a peaceful look, dozing off as he did.
It was a melodic sound. A familiar one as well, he’d recognize it anywhere on earth. A simple feminine humming from his left. He turned towards it and saw a indian-american woman of his age sitting on the loveseat. Pad and pen in hand and headphones over her head; humming to a song on her mp4.
That natural walnut skin, shiny black eyes; long  curly brown hair that flowed like a waterfall that cute slightly pointed nose and those small yet full lips. She was a bit taller than lapis, curvier than Peridot; and strong...not Jasper strong, but a fencer and athletic build.  She sat, one leg over the other, in an alternative school outfit (pink blazer, yellow skirt, blue shirt, and pink tie). The Student President of Diamond Academy, tennis and fencer all star; Connie Maheswaran.
“That uniform fits you very well.”
“Why, thank you” Steven shocked and red face allowed Connie arched an eyebrow and smirk at CG leader. Steven sat up with a stretch and a crack of the neck.
“Time?”
“Only fifteen to five.”
“So..30 minutes, see you made yourself comfortable; Ms.President.”
“Was waiting for my best friend to wake.” Connie pulled her head phones down to her shoulder as she watch him get up and walk behind her and gave her a small hug, which she returned  by squeezing his left bicep.
“Tea?”
“ Green, please.”
Giving her a smile the seventeen year old released his hold, a bit reluctantly, before going to the mini fridge getting two bottle of spring water, four  tea bags from a nearby locker; and turning on the electric tea kettle that Pearl, one of the club members; brought for the room.
“So really what brings you to the room? And how long have  you been here?”
“No reason. Just making rounds saw you here in this nice warm room, decided to come in for a bit. I’ve only been here for about 10 minutes. Is that ok?”
“All are welcomed, but you get special privileges; like this tea.” Steven pointed to  the kettle with a smirk. Connie place three fingers on her blouse and gasp in exaggerated fashion.
“Talk about the V.I.P treatment.” She sent him a half smirk. “You wouldn't be trying to get something from me, Right Mr, Universe.”
he let use a low chuckle as he handed her a mug, and sat back on the couch. “Now whatever gave you that idea?”
“That chuckle for one, and the fact that you left a list of funds proposals on the table.”
“I swear they are all needed.” The pace of that statement caused the president to arched an eyebrow and pursed her lips.
“Uh-huh and what pray tell, does these items have to do with your club activities?”
“As you know, our club was main goal to ensure that our fellow students have a pleasant  school life...Which we have done very well.”
“Methods aside..Sure.”
“Negotiations doesn't always work with words alone..sometimes games need to be played, parlays need to be made-”
“Classrooms need to be close off, dances need to be unofficially hosted; disguises need to be worn.”
“We always brought the costumes back in pristine condition” Connie stone face made him sigh. “ok, working condition.”
“and the fighting?”
“Oh, like you never used your skills outside of an match.”
Connie shrugged, a small toothy grin on her face. “The S.C does double as a disciplinary committee.. You guys don't.”
“Fair enough,  but you can't argue that we have gotten results-”
“Steven,I'm not going to deny your proposal for these items... Though, I don't  know why you don't talk to the headmaster themselves..you are related after all.”
“No way. Last Thing I need is people thinking I am privileged.
“....Just choose some soon, ok?”
the spontaneity of the statement and tiredness of her voice aroused suspicion in him. He scooted over and patted the cushion  next to him. She took the lifeline quickly as she sat beside him, leaned on his shoulder and grasped his hand, he did nothing but intertwined  his fingers with hers.
“You doing ok, President?”
“Just tired of talking shop, is all. Been planning the winter formal and been dealing with disputes between clubs.”
“You could send some of those disputes over here.”
“and have Jasper be on my case..no thanks, I choose peace... but the dance we could use a little ---.” Connie growled mid sentence, facepalming as she did.“No.. No more talk of S.C. work.”
Steven looked on with a smirk at her antics. “Sorry..So how has things been with you, personally? Still dating that Jeff guy?”
“Wow...weeks since we really spoke and that the first thing you ask, wait... how did you know I was dating...ANYONE?”
“He did come to us for advice...Though I was sick for that week. Garnet took control of that one…”
“and…”
Steven looked at her and rubbed the back of his head. “ On my day back, I caught you two giggling and such afterschool..You wasn't were we usually meet up for our ride home. I saw you two and was quick to figure what was going on.”
“Oh… Steven, I'm so sorry I-”
“Hey, No problem you don't have to tell me everything..I mean he's your boyfriend… you have, nothing to be apologetic about. Heard he's a good guy…” Steven glared and his voice, chilling “He IS a good guy..right?”
“I guess? We were only together for a month before I broke it off.”
“Ooo..May I ask why?”
Connie shrugged with a sigh. “Wasn't actually  attracted to him, but I figure I'd give the guy a chance. He has good ambition, wanting to go into film and such a nice guy but...just no real spark between us.”
Steven nodded. “It's like that sometimes”
“True...I'm mad at you though.” Connie playful pokes called the bigger teen to laugh. “Six weeks and no hang out, no rides on lion; no games night” What started off as jovial and teasing, ended serious and cool. Connie frown was pronounced and her eyes sharp. “and why? cause some guy that didn't even last a whole month…”
Steven glared back just as hard. “You didn't  exactly try to talk to me too much either.”
Connie growled slightly at this before sighing..this was not what she wanted. “You're right..I wanted to talked to you, but something happened…other than jeff”
“Oh..and what was that?”
“You rejecting Lapis…”

first post 😏
so ill start off by saying hi, you can call me lucy.. or whatever you want, tbh i dont really care about names or specific pronouns. i never let it bug me but please dont go out of your way to be mean, be a decent person and treat people with some basic kindness and everything will be okay. ☺️
so you could say i havent come out yet, the only place i dont feel myself is at work but because coming out at work would be way to... complicating i decided to just not but still maintain the essence of who i am and not care what people said or how they looked at me. ive never really had to worry about taking shit from them or from really anyone becsuse apparently i have an always angry face even though most of the time im not even angry lol. but because of that it keeps peoples comments to themselves. im not very engaging so conversation would end up being very one sided. im okay with this work arrangement i just hope eventually i can get a job where i can be me how i want to be without having to worry about things becoming complicated. outside of work i am me i try to dress gender neutral just because i dont feel i am able to pass yet(though the makeup girl at the spa thought i was a girl but as soon as i opened my mouth she was like omg im so sorry. it was pretty funny it didnt like offend me or anything at all, i let things like that go or else it would bug me to no end.) i have anxiety but i deal with it well by not spending too much time thinking about it all and just go about my business. and ive learned mosy people are oblivious or dont even care. i have noticed its more elderly women that give me stares but i think its funny 😋 i try to wear clothes that are subtly feminine so i can wear what is comfortable and what fits but also not be clocked by every nosey person in the grocery store. i dont wear alot of makeup when im out if any at all, its usually lip gloss, a little mascara, and filled in eyebrows.
Ive been on hrt for about a month but the end of 2017 all of 2018 i spent 'pre' transitioning. i got rid of all my guy clothes except one or two outfits for work i started ordering clothes online and from thrift stores and slowly aquired almost a whole wardrobe lol.
i tried herbal supplements for feminizing and breast growth pills, the first 3 months of that i felt like shit all the time, hormones were everywhere.. it was a mess. (i feel like because i went all through that proir to actual hrt that by body got used to feeling like shit and everything else so it was like prepared and toughened up the next time around. if that makes sense) i noticed breast growth that went away and havent had any of it since. i got super sensitive and hurt to touch but none of that happens anymore, im not sure why..
i started to shave every week and been doing it since but has gotten so much easier and quicker over time (it still takes forever) eventually i got a laser hair remover and started using it but it was hard to use it every week because im lazy lol but i still use it, im not sure if it works but im just gonna keep using it and im sure it will help to get rid of my facial hair over time. i started transitioning from using cheap hygiene supplies to more expensive ones then to home made ones. since ive done that my skin has gotten noticeably better, i use African black soap that i buy but the rest of it i make using different things you can find in your kitchen. i hope taking care of my skin in this way will pay off later on and so far it looks better then my old routine.
so ive been on estridol and spiro for about a month now, the first things that i noticed a few days after starting was i was happy again, like the weel before i felt horrible i was unhappy with myself, i felt dull. i dont think it was a placebo because i wasnt expecting anything to happen. so i can say that my experience has been a positive one so far. i havent had any breast changes like sensitivity or soreness or anything. i was using a pump almost daily before i started hrt and so my chest was already soft and squshy and protruding a little. im not too worried about it i just hope that they start, ive heard of girls having it start then stop and not do anything. i just want to be able to wear a bra because i need to not because thats 'what youre supposed to do if your a girl'
Ive alway been skinny and not weighed over 130 but i hope this will change that, i have already lost what little muscle i had, my arms are lean so they still look muscular but i think with time they will smooth out. i have very thin hips so im hoping i will get wider and my thighs will thicken up, to help that along im doing butt and leg exercises along with stretching and yoga i guess. (i dont call it yoga)
I know that diet is a big part of the results you end up with so ive started eating better then i was before. and im trying to eat more too, ive always had a tough time eating because i have little to no appetite, i just dont find food appealing most times. ive started drinking more water and now i have to pee every hour lol. its not so bad h20 will help keeping my liver and kidneys from taking too much.
so im not really sure what else i should include in this post, im sure i forgot some things but thats okay they will come to me☺️ if you made it down this far thank you for listening i hope you have a wonderful day and dont forget that you are not alone. 😘💜

It was a regular bar, with a regular bouncer standing outside, big, buffed and seemingly bored, and regular customers. From the outside, it didn't seem like anything special. A big sign with a neon and the name of the bar in a simple font embellished with a martini glass and an olive on a toothpick, flashing with purple, green and red did attract attention but wasn't anything special enough to attract the looking for adventures New Yorkers. Inside was inviting and warm, with round mahogany tables and comfortable chairs and a small lamp in the middle of every table. There were a bar and a stage with silver, glittery curtains, promising entertainment and a good time. It was a bar like many in New York. But late evenings, magic happened inside.
Steve's knee was bouncing in nervous excitement, not following the rhythm of the music seeping in the background, just pure nervousness dictating the rhythm. He had to be careful to not bash his leg on the underside of the table and cause the drinks to spill all over the red cloth. It wasn't his first visit to the bar. In fact, since the first time he stepped into The Olive, as regulars used to call it, he became a steady customer. A steady customer with a very good reason to keep coming back. A very good, embarrassing reason.
"Will you calm down?" Sam hissed, sitting at the other end of the table. The grip Steve had on an empty glass of Long Island Ice Tea was alarmingly tight and Sam began to worry that some accident involving shredded glass and blood might happen soon.
"Can't help it," Steve answered miserably, looking longingly at his wristwatch. Still, ten minutes remained. Why couldn't time go faster?
"Pathetic," Sam remarked, shaking his head at his friend's behavior. He knew Steve since forever and knew that the blond was usually better in control of his emotions. Just this place had such weird effect on him.
"Um, excuse me!" Steve called, stopping the walking past by waitress.
"Yes?"
"Is --- is she---"
The girl eyed Steve, nicely contoured lips curling into a smile. "Oh, honey, she is here. She is just getting ready for the show."
That calmed down Steve a little bit. The minutes before the show started were always killing him. "Thanks, Arrow," he answered, of course knowing the waitress' name. He knew all names of the employees of the Olive.
"Can I get you, boys, anything else?" Arrow asked, gently taking the empty glass from Steve's clutches and on putting it on the tray she was caring, a single strand of red hair slipping out of the green hood. Arrow's thing was fantasy looks. She rocked it in green cape going down to her nicely shaped butt, and a belt with big buckle was hugging her waist, bringing out the feminine shape of the body clad in a green leather suit.
"The same, please," Steve asked politely.
"And for you, sugar?"
Sam cleared his throat before answering, knocking his fist on the table. "Beer, please," he said, sounding an octave lower than usual.
Steve raised an eyebrow. He mouthed 'beer, really?' with an evilly happy smile and Sam clenched his teeth and gave a signal with his eyes to not push it. Despite being a regular like Steve was, Sam still had problems to order drinks with a straw and a small umbrella.
"Got some masculinity to prove there, pal?" Steve asked happily, just because he sometimes liked to tease his friend. Part of the being best friends deal.
"Steve," Sam warned.
"He will have the most vibrant and pink cocktail you have on the menu," Steve changed Sam's order, smiling gleefully at Arrow, who laughed in a voice deeper than she used to talk earlier.
"Hey," Arrow turned her blue eyes to Sam, deciding to jump on the torment Sam wagon. "Aren't you the one working at Mama's Little Bakery in downtown? The one with pink and frilly curtains in the windows?"
"HA!" Steve laughed, maybe a bit too loud, but the sound got lost in the already getting crowded room, and Sam's terrified look was just too priceless. Sam was someone Steve liked to call a closet baker, he could make the most amazing cakes, learning his whole life from his mom who was a master baker. It was obvious that one day he would take over the family business and continue to supply New York with delicious, homemade cupcakes and pastries.
"Beer, please," Sam repeated, his voice getting some squeakiness.
Arrow rolled her eyes and jutted her hip. "You're straight, I get it," she replied, walking away, her high heels clanking gently on the wooden floor.
"Damn straight, I am straight," Sam remarked in a low grumble, his eyes going to the bar area where Arrow was leaning and placing an order. "Straight as an uncooked spaghetti noodle…" he said, his voice losing its anger and getting a softer note that sounded a lot like longing when he watched a person behind the bar. Big, frilly dark hair, dark eye makeup, pink lips. She laughed hearing the order and started to prepare the drink for Steve first, moving smoothly and gracefully, the bright pink fur bolero and giant silver hoops in her ears, not constricting her movements in the slightest. Underneath the fur was a silver top with leopard print on spaghetti straps and knowing her, she had to wear small shorts and boots going way past her knees. Sam couldn't help but stare.
"You know, Sam, you could just go and talk to her," Steve advised gently, looking at his friend. "Under all that makeup, there is a regular person inside."
Sam turned his eyes away from the bartender and looked irritated at his friend.
"Really? You are the one to give me that kind of talk?" Sam asked, raising his eyebrows.
"I am just saying," Steve said, grinning a bit too broad, knowing that they were heading into a dangerous topic, and leaned closer, minimizing the distance between him and his friend, "the world changed, Sam. Masculinity and femininity are not that far apart anymore. And who would be better to talk about this than a drag queen?"
Did we mention earlier that The Pitted Olive was a drag queen bar?
Sam just frowned deeper and for a moment, Steve sensed the tension in the air. He almost backed away, knowing that it was better to give his friend plenty of time to process, when it was Sam who first loosened up and lowered his shoulders, seemingly accepting what he heard.
"You know what?" Sam started, no hostility in his voice. "I will go talk to Tootsie, if you go talk to your girl."
Steve blushed, hoping that it wasn't too obvious in the dim light of the bar. "That's different," he said weakly, fidgeting in his seat. It really was different.
"Well, under all that makeup there is a regular person inside," Sam smiled a bit too obvious when Steve sent him a dry look, "someone once told me that. Can't remember who. Sounds dumb anyway."
Steve laughed. Reverse psychology. How cute. The moment ended when Arrow walked over and placed their drinks on the table.
"Here you go, boys," she said, putting a fresh glass of Long Island Ice Tea in front of Steve and a mug of ale near Sam. Sam gagged a bit in panic, when in the white foam he saw a pink umbrella, standing tall and proud. At the reaction, Arrow smiled and walked away, not before winking at Steve.
"I think that's a sign," Steve hummed, sipping his drink with a satisfied smile. Sam tried to be discreet and looked in the bar area, but the girl was already occupied with serving more drinks. The show was almost starting and she had to serve everyone before, not to interrupt her sister.
"Ladies and gentleman, may I have your attention please!" came a voice from the intercom and the lights dimmed slowly, leaving a spotlight on the stage. Steve whipped around to face the stage and finally bashed his knee, but he couldn't care less about the pain, looking expectantly at the stage.
"Let's welcome the star of the evening, the sweetest and tastiest cake in town, Miss Red Velvet!"
Everyone started clapping to welcome the performer, but it was nothing in comparison to how rapidly Steve's heart started beating. Through the silver curtains showed a hand, and pushed the fabric open, letting it drape a bit over herself, and prolonging the moment. When the person walked out and to the middle of the stage accompanied by applause, Steve had to try hard to not stand up and start whistling.
She was stunning. Milky white skin, long dark silky hair flowing in a cascade down her shoulders and ending above a perfectly round rear. Steve knew that majority of the drag queens used pads to give their bodies more feminine shapes, but there was a rumor that Red Velvet wasn't one of them. She stood in the middle of the stage in a sparkly red gown hugging her hourglass figure and going down all the way to the floor, very probably hiding red heels underneath. A perfectly countered face and perfect dark eye make up showed nearly artistic skills. And those lips! Plump and red as cherries. Steve never saw Red Velvet in any other color than red, which was her trademark sign. She was absolutely gorgeous and Steve had been mesmerized since the first time he saw her on the stage.
"Hello everyone!" Red Velvet greeted the crown, smiling softly and charming. Her blue eyes scanned the crowd, which she could see perfectly thanks to the small lit lamps on every table. "I can see some new faces," she greeted the newcomers with positive energy, getting an overwhelming cheer in return as she waved and sent kisses. "And---" she continued, her eyes stopping on Steve's and Sam's table for two seconds longer than on everyone else, "--- some familiar faces."
Steve almost had a heart attack out of joy. The moment was magical, but before he could truly embrace it, Red Velvet took out the mic from the stand and began walking on the stage.
"I wrote a new song and would love to share it with you all," she said in her smooth, velvety voice, and Steve felt like melting. The crowd around him started to disappear and blend into the background. It was now only him and Red Velvet.
Red Velvet made some gesture with her hand and piano music started to seep, filling in the room and Steve's heart. Calming and soothing and sad. Red Velvet closed her eyes and started to sway her beautiful hips to the gentle music.
"This is the night I've been dreaming of forever. The mirror takes a look at my face. I'll never set foot in that rat hole again. But I'll drive to your place."
Steve watched and listened, adoring every word, every subtle gesture. The way light fell on her face and long eyelashes cast shadows on pale cheeks. Her voice was smooth and deep, but raspy on the edges, showing some masculinity. It was a beautiful mix.
"This is a habit I'm breaking now forever, I'm weary from trying to shake it, so when I ask if you don't give me your hand I'll take it. Right now!"
Red Velvet opened her eyes and reached her hand forward. Steve wanted to take it, to hold it, to kiss it. To be there for her at every moment.
And then it hit him.
There was no her.
Red Velvet was a part of someone else. Someone else Steve didn't know and probably would never have an occasion to meet. Everything he ever imagined about Red Velvet might not be true.
"It's funny now when I don't show up on Monday, they'll go nuts, and eat their hats, well, what do you think of that?"
Steve bit his lip, his thoughts spiraling deeper and deeper. His dream woman would remain a dream. But… underneath all that makeup was a regular person. Oh, the irony. He had to listen to his own advice after all.
"He says, you're throwing life away, to move with a girl like me, he's not blind, he just don't have a mind to see…"
The song ended on a sad note and Steve was back again, together with the crowd and clapping with everyone else. His mind cooled down and he felt that he could think more rationally, yet when Red Velvet smiled gratefully at the audience, his heart did that weird flip-flop thing he heard about only from the movies.
His heart was telling him one thing, while his mind was telling him something entirely different. It was a struggle to separate the voices and try to tell dreams and reality apart.
But why try to break something that went together hand in hand? He just had to say it. For his own sanity. It was hard, but he had to, to quiet his heart and mind.
"I am going to meet with her, Sam," Steve said, his eyes not leaving the person on the stage. Time to meet his dream and face the reality. And saying that Sam's face became one of a pure shock, was an understatement.

Star Crossed Entertainers - Part 4
Y’all ready for some back story? Also ANGSTFEST. I wrote this part several different times, several different ways and hooooo boy, it was a trip. In order to set everything in place so we can get back to some gorgeous musical actors and hot ass business men, this part is pretty damn lengthy. Also Surprise. Someone else is joining this series. :)
TRIGGER WARNING: It honestly isn’t a whole lot but there is abusive language and mention of sexual assault and attempted rape.
Soft sunlight was peaking into the lounge through the sheer black curtains as Samantha made her way to the entry way of the apartment where her and Kaeli piled their shoes that they wore the most. She was already showered and dressed. She was wearing full length black leggings that had a leather panel on the outer sides from the waist band to the ankle, a blush colored tank top and a black bomber jacket that had a salmon and cream colored floral pattern. She grabbed her boots and sat on the step that connected the entryway to the lounge. First the left, then the right. She slipped the black boots up to her knees and began to lace them up. A long process. Once she had the bows double knotted she stood up and decided she would open the curtains at the far window. On her way to the window she noticed that Kaeli had fallen asleep on the couch. She must have been worried last night and fell asleep without putting herself to bed. Samantha grabbed the throw blanket off the back of the couch and went to lay it on Kaeli when she stopped and let out a sigh. Kaeli was using one of her t-shirts as a nightgown again. Butt head. Laying the blanket down on the sleeping beauty, Sam made her way to the kitchen where she sat on the cushions in the bay window. Her favorite spot. Her legs stretched out in front of her, crossed at the ankles, she stared looking out the window, watching the sunrise out over the city, then looking back at her roommate. No. Her best friend. And she thought about everything that had led up to this very morning.
They had been friends since they were 5 years old. Best friends. On the very first day of school they were drawn to each other. None of the other kids were too keen on being with them because one was the size of a toddler and the other was the size of a 5th grader. There difference in size brought them together but it turns out they had the same sense of humor and outgoing personalities. Kismet. All of the other jerks kids hadn’t wanted to be their friends but once the two were together they became a dynamic duo. The two were the same but also couldn’t be more of polar opposites. They were both outgoing and well liked. They weren’t popular or wealthy but they knew everyone and everyone knew them. Kaeli wasn’t very studious but she was very active in the student body. Events, festivals, dances, she was apart of it all. Samantha was in every performing arts class there was. Marching band, jazz band. wind ensemble. She was involved in choir, musical theatre, and  drama with Kaeli as well. She played 5 different instruments. She never thought she would spend her school days like that but it was just so natural to her once she started. She was like an entertainment machine and also held perfect grades.
Kaeli reached her maximum height of 4 feet 11 inches her freshman year of high school. She was adorable and no one could resist her colorful laugh and big dimples when she smiled. Despite her being as cute as a button she was a huge flirt. It radiated from within her. It was like a disease. Usually she was unaware she was even flirting and it got her into trouble. By senior year she had won the titles of Homecoming Queen, Winterfest Queen, and Prom Queen. She didn’t necessarily dress overly feminine but she was always in pink, pastels, and soft patterns. Her family wasn’t necessarily wealthy but she lived very comfortably. It was just her parents, herself and a couple of dogs. She didn’t have any extended family. Her mother came from a family of wealth and power but her father did not. Neither sides of the two families were accepting of the other and disowned the couple, therefore denying Kaeli’s existence entirely when she was born. That’s why when her parents died in a plane crash senior year she was taken in by Samantha who had been on her own for awhile. Kaeli had a huge heart and she used it far more often than her brain. She was too trusting and opened up too easily. This led to her often being taken advantage of in friendships and even to some abusive relationships. But she always had Sammy.
Samantha was 6 feet tall by her junior year of high school and she still had growing pains. Slow down Shaq. She was intimidating but she had beautiful eyes and she was so expressive and goofy, people were drawn to her. Everyone knew her as outspoken and sarcastic but she also had an undeniable warmth that made people feel like they could open up to her about anything and everything. Gross. By senior year she had directed 4 plays, starred in 6 musicals and even put together a sketch comedy show that the school made apart of their homecoming celebration each year. She dressed in lots of muted colors. Olive, tan, navy, maroon, mustard. She had developed a very fashion forward style her sophomore year. Up until then she had dressed like an absolute tomboy. Usually skinny jeans, converse and a t-shirt, or overalls and baseball hats. She didn’t have much money and she worked at a bakery for income. Samantha didn’t have a family. She never knew her parents and she only had a sister who was 20 years older than her. When she was about 8 her sister had started a family and Sam felt like a burden so she had runaway. She was fending for herself until someone had taken her in. Someone not much older than her, but who had already mastered the art of living without a family. At 17 when she started working at the bakery the elderly couple who owned the business let her rent out an apartment upstairs and when Kaeli lost her parents the elderly couple gladly accommodated Sam getting a roommate. Samantha was loved by many and although she was never cold, she didn’t like people. She did not trust others and never let anyone in. That’s how she was raised. No one knew that she didn’t want people too close and she never held a relationship. She was constantly dumping guys for trying to get too close to her. The only person she ever let in was Kaeli.
Kaeli begin to stir in her sleep and Samantha looked her way.
“Kay?” The small blonde shot up.
“...damn. My neck hurts. You’re up already? And you’re dressed?”
“Yeah, I’m gonna go visit my old babysitter.” Both girls chuckle.
“You shouldn’t call him that Sammy. He basically made you who you are today. Plus, he actually is a babysitter now.” The blonde laughed even harder.
Samantha shot off a text message and stood up from her seat at the window. grabbing her keys off the kitchen island counter she glides over to the closet by the entry way and pulls out a sparkly silver helmet.
“Hey, no way! You’re not taking your bike! If I can’t ride one, you can’t drive one.”
Sam tucked the helmet under her left armpit and reached for the doorknob, looking behind her she met Kaeli’s yelling with a steady tone. “And you did ride one. So after this we’ll be even.”
“HOW DID YOU KNOW?!”
“Lee texted me when you left the theatre.” And with that she was out the door.
BBBZZZZTTT BBZZZZZTTT ~ 2 texts and now someone was calling but he couldn’t hear the phone over the vacuum. His ponytail rapidly swinging back and forth trying to keep up with how fast he was moving. Suddenly there was extremely loud banging on the door. He turned off the hoover and reached around to his back where his taser was tucked into his pants.
“OPEN THE DOOR DICKHEAD!”
The man looked through the doors peep hole and swung it open rapidly.
“I swear one day I’m actually going to tase your obnoxious ass. Get in here. Geez...who raised you?”
“Uhhhmmm, that would be you.” The tall brass haired brat walked into the house and flopped down on the couch propping her feet up on the coffee table.
The man knocked her feet off with a swift slap.
“Get your dirty boots off my clean surfaces.”
“Easy Vanhelsing. There isn’t a spec of dust in this place.”
You could see the man growing more irritable. “I’m not a vampire. That’s not my name. And it’s not about mess, it’s about manners.”
Vanderwood. The man was a grade A bad ass with a passion for Fabreeze and Lysol wipes.
“If you came here just to be a brat, you could have waited until Christmas.”
Vanderwood waited for a snarky response from the woman but he was met with her looking defeated.
“Samantha, what is it.” His tone turned exponentially serious.
“I just came to ask you one thing. If Kaeli and I need to get out of here in the near future...would you be able to help me with that?”
Vanderwood. He joined the agency when he was 16. Tired of dealing with his family and no one recognizing he was superior to them in everyway, he signed a contract of employment with them. He was 2 years in. Now about 18 and progressing fast within the ranks of the agency. One day he was doing some recon on some local thugs when he heard a commotion in a near by alleyway. He saw 3 adult men, cornering a girl. The girl wasn’t small but she could only have been in elementary school. He figured he should intervene when he started to hear smacks, and punches. Cries of pain, but what the bloody hell? The screams were coming from the dudes. Who is this 8 year old and how is she kicking the asses of these GROWN men! With the dumbasses subdued he spoke to the girl. He learned that she was on her own and she was actually the one that picked a fight with them. He didn’t know why he did it and to this day he still doesn’t know what compelled him but he offered to take her under his wing. And for whatever reason, which he also didn’t understand, this little girl trusted him, and accepted. He became her guardian and he was honestly excited to have a "mini me”. He had bought her clothes and taught her the basics of living. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, cleaning, fighting, cleaning, manners, cleaning, studying, CLEANING. He didn’t know how a little girl was supposed to dress, he had never been one. So she usually went to school in overalls, sneakers, and a backwards baseball cap with her hair in two loose braids. She usually was covered in band aids and 90% of the time one was on her face. This girl was a fighter but she was clumsy as hell. She was constantly getting cuts and bruises due to her own carelessness but according to Vanderwood, pain didn’t exist. He was constantly telling her to ignore others because hurt feelings didn’t really matter, and not to trust anyone because you never know who could be after you. Falling down and being clumsy or getting hurt were no excuse to show weakness. Every time he helped her put a band aid on he would say things like “Never let boys see you bleed.” or “Never show someone how deep a cut is!” He didn’t know that all this strength and fight he was trying to implant in her was going to lead her into brandishing her own vigilante justice. She was constantly getting in fights outside of school. Trying to beat up bullies or even trying to go after muggers. He had to have a stern talk with her about what was morally right and wrong for a little girl and why her rules were different than his, being a trained assassin, big boy. He was glad she had Kaeli to balance her out and calm her down.
By the time the smart ass brat Samantha was a senior in high school she had gone from constantly trying to kick everyone’s ass on the streets, to simply just knowing how to defend herself and Vanderwood was actually glad that she was leading a pretty normal life. When she was 17 he let her fly away from his mama bird nest and get her own job and apartment. Good. It would keep her away from his line of work. That was until after she graduated. Kaeli was planning on moving away for a performing college program and Samantha came to Vanderwood with a request. She was planning on cutting all ties with Kaeli while she was gone and asked Vanderwood to get her training with the agency. No. He didn’t want that kind of life for this girl he had known to be so bright, and talented. Fun loving and carefree. Sure he had accidentally made it so that she didn’t trust people and didn’t form close relationships out of concern for others safety. And she was incredibly skilled and intelligent. The agency could really use someone like her but he just didn’t want that for her. A life of solitude. She was stubborn and determined so he agreed to get her training, but with two conditions. It would only be for a year and she would only take the training courses that he picked and she had to keep in contact with Kaeli. Her best friend.
Samantha had started her year of training before the official application process to get into the same agency that Vandy had joined when he was 16. Due to Vanderwoods terms of her training she was in contact with Kaeli while she was away for her college program. But Samantha still intended to disappear with the agency once the year was over. It’s not that she didn’t want to be around Kaeli anymore, it’s that she didn’t want Kaeli being around her. She believed that she was destined to be alone and not deserving of having normal relationships. Her parents never wanted her, her sister didn’t want her, and until she had met Kaeli and Vanderwood, people had only ever seen her as a threat. She was dangerous. But she didn’t realize it until a week before they graduated high school.
Reagan. He was popular, good looking, wealthy, obnoxious, a real douche. Samantha didn’t like his attitude or how he treated people. So she was extra irritated when Kaeli started dating him. It wasn’t long into their relationship that Samantha knew he wasn't a good person. He quickly became obsessed, possessive and controlling. Kaeli brushed it off. Classic Kaeli. She had let herself be treated like this before and it always took Samantha to snap her out of it, but this time she couldn’t be snapped. Samantha didn’t know it but Kaeli was afraid of Reagan. He had became abusive but she tried her hardest to hide it from Sam. She didn’t want to admit she was in over her head and she was afraid of what Sam might do. One day Kaeli was taking off her sweater and her shirt had lifted up. That’s when Samantha saw bruising all over her torso.
“He’s fucking dead.”
“Sammy please, no. Don’t do anything rash and get yourself in trouble. He’s coming over tonight and I’m going to break it off with him. That way I’ll have a clean break after we graduate and I can move with no strings attached.”
Samantha was seeing red, she didn’t have any words and knew that she wasn’t going to be able to have a rational conversation so she went downstairs to the bakery and started her shift. A couple hours past and as she was closing up the bakery Sam was greeted by Reagan. He looked at her and made no attempt to say hello. He went right upstairs to the apartment. Samantha went back to locking up. 5 minutes later she heard shouting and something had slammed onto the floor. Her mind went blank and her eyes dazed over, it was like she blacked out. Her body was possessed. She ran upstairs as fast as her legs would take her and threw open every door with excessive force. The shouting had stopped and she couldn’t see anyone in the immediate area. That’s when she heard crying. Soft sobbing from Kaelis room and then...grunting. She ran to the bedroom door and tried the handle but it was locked. Rapidly jiggling the handle she slapped the door with an open palm again and again.
“OPEN THIS FUCKING DOOR!”
“FUCK YOU!”
“SAM HELP ME!”
Smack. “Shut the fuck up.” The slap echoed throughout the entire apartment.
The adrenaline took over her whole body and Samantha stepped back and then lunged her right shoulder at the door, breaking the lock and pushing it open. Reagan was on top of Kaeli and his pants were around his ankles. Samantha grabbed him by his hair and threw him against the wall. His skull made a loud smacking noise and his eyes glazed over. He slid down the wall, and she grabbed his shirt in her fist and began beating his face with the outer part of her closed fist. Kaeli was crying and screaming. Sam didn’t stop until she realized blood was being splattered across her face. She would have could have killed him. She wiped her forehead, unintentionally smearing blood across it. She turned around. The fear in Kaeli’s eyes. It was because of Reagan but Samantha thought it was because of her. She wrapped a blanket around Kaeli and walked her downstairs. She called Vanderwood who came and cleaned up the mess and got medical attention for the boy. The next day they all acted like it never happened. And that is why she wanted away from Kaeli. What kind of a life was that? She was dangerous.
The year of training went by fast. Samantha had gone through all the courses Vanderwood specified she had to take. Tactical, physical training, espionage, seduction, driving, stealth, and combat. Part of training was doing recon and infiltration of low level crime rings. All candidates were informed that not only the agency but other employers would also be keeping an eye on them. She had made her way into several small mafia branches and mob conglomerates. They mainly used her for shake downs and collections. A lady thug for hire. Beating money and secrets out of desperate scumbags. It was also easy enough making deals without having to beat them to a pulp since a lot of the time the goons were too busy looking her up and down, licking there lips like they were about to scarf down a 3 course meal. At the end of her year she had gone back home and was planning on saying her goodbyes to Kaeli.
The night she planned to say goodbye to Kaeli and submit her official application to the agency they had gone to karaoke. It had been forever since they performed together. They ended up taking over the whole bar, it was no longer karaoke it was a two woman variety show and people were loving it. She was having a blast with her best friend but the entire time she couldn’t help but feel like eyes were on them. Eyes that she couldn’t see. Vanderwood? No these eyes were definitely menacing.
They left the bar and started walking. Trying to sober up a bit. They were laughing and it was just like their carefree days of high school. The sound of metal hit Samantha’s ears and before she could react someone had grabbed her pinning her arms to her back.
“KAELI RUN!”
“GRAB HER, ASSHOLES!”
That voice. It was fucking Reagan.
Samantha whipped her head back as fast as she could and made contact. Her arms were released and she quickly made her way to the two men that were holding on to Kaeli, ripping at her clothes. Sam’s fist flew through the air. Shit. Something had cracked. Her hand or his jaw, one of them was broken. Kaeli shook herself loose and began running to get help when a limo had pulled up and blocked them in. Samantha was throwing punches and dodging them at an incredible rate, she was roundhousing their asses and Kaeli couldn’t believe what she was witnessing. The limo door opened and Sam lost her focused and turned to see who was stepping out of it. That’s when Reagan landed a sold punch right into her stomach. Her body jolted and blood came out of her mouth, then a hand connected with her face. “Fucking freak. Stupid Bitch always in my FUCKING way.” Samantha was on her knees, blood pouring out of a cut above her brow.
“That’s enough Reagan!” A round stocky woman had stepped out of the limo. “I asked you to retrieve the girls but you decided you were going to do whatever you wanted. I’m sure the boss would love hearing that you damaged his new merchandise” the air was silent and extremely bitter tasting. “Now, ladies, if you would.” The woman gestured to inside of the limo.
“NO WAY!” Kaeli screamed, incredibly defiant. “Do it, Kaeli.” Samantha’s voice was soft but it was firm. The two girls climbed in the limo. Sam knew who this woman was and who she was employed by. Stuff she had learned doing the undercover work for training.
The girls rode in silence and they were let out at a night club. The lights were blinding outside. They were following the round woman with her huge bodyguards on the outside of them. No words were being exchanged.
“If you'll excuse me for a moment.” The woman broke the silence and walked away. One of the guards gestured for Kaeli to take a seat and the other gestured towards a door off to their left, a bathroom for Sam to clean up in. Splashing water onto her face and trying to scrub the blood off her hands she heard a bit of shouting outside. She turned off the water and wiped her hands with paper towels and opened the door. She looked around. They weren’t in the regular part of the club. They were in a members only VIP area. She didn’t see Kaeli. She panicked. She was running up to everyone asking them if they had seen a tiny blonde woman when finally one man pointed into a room in the back and told her that a couple of men had gone in the room with her. She pounced at the door like a cheetah and kicked it open. She didn’t care what was happening, She just started swinging. There was crashing and yelling, and guests were starting to get concerned. The round woman appeared in the doorway and cleared her throat. The body guards she was with pulled Sam off of the men in the room. “The employer would like to speak to you privately.” Kaeli and Sam both began to follow the woman when she raised her hand. “Just the amazon.” Rude.
“Fine, but she stays with your guards. And Reagan and his ugly ass two bit thugs leave. Now. Or I will kill them.” Her eyes were like hot coals. Sam was serious.
Samantha sat in the lush leather chair and stared at the rich cherry wood desk in front of her. the man sitting at the desk had his tall chair turned around and didn’t even attempt to face her. Sam had her guard up and was on high alert but the man started speaking and got right to brass tax.
“Vanderwood raised a firecracker I see. Intelligent, talented, strong, and a body. All those curves and me with no brakes.” Are you serious right now? “I’ve gone ahead and submitted an application to the agency on your behalf. I also put in a submission for denial to the agency and a request that the application for consideration of employment go to me. So don’t think running to the agency will get you out of this. I was going to make you both my very special VIP package for our best clients. However you have come in here and caused a disturbance. Vandwerwood raised a fighter but he didn’t raise a lady. If you want to act like a brute than you will be one. You will now be my hired gun and your little pixie out there will be my most esteemed call girl. You will be rewarded with very sizable salaries and club privileges. Now get out.”
“No.” Samantha’s voice didn’t waver. Not even for a split second.
“No is not an option, you are now my employee and due to how close you are with that girl she will and already does know too much. So you both are indebted to me. You by contractual obligation and her by threat. If you try to leave , you will both be killed.”
“I’ll do both.”
“Excuse me?”
“I’ll be your hired gun and a call girl. She stays away from any part of what goes on with the clients in this club.”
The man was silent. Still facing away from Sam. “Madam, bring her something to type up her terms with.”
20 minutes later and Sam had signed a contract. And all her terms and stipulations were met.
Samantha and Kaeli would be trained in high society, upper class, and etiquette. They would both be available for dates , dinners, and events with the top tier of the elites. Sam would  be awarded business classes and Kaeli would learn Public relations. After a certain amount of time was put in with Kaeli working events and handling all PR and media for the club or scandles for the club and the employer, she wouldn’t have to go on dates anymore. Sam would be a lady goon, and a jazz singer/performer for the club and she would spend nights with clients. Normally most girls would have the choice on whether or not they wanted to sleep with clients but he had told Sam that there would be no exceptions with her. She would bring in top clients and top dollar. She would have opportunity to progress and climb up the ranks.
The madam was impressed with Sam’s sense of business and her courage to try and sacrifice all of her freedom for Kaeli to get away. The madam agreed to help Sam lie to the employer about her sleeping with clients.
Kaeli had worked off her debt and now only had to work PR and media for the club, and Sam had worked her way from all thug duties and had become the clubs “Sparkling Diamond” and a business partner. They made incredibly good money but they kept it to themselves. As far as everyone else was concerned, Kaeli and Samantha were just two strugglers. A struggling actor and a struggling screenwriter/stage manager. The only little slice of a normal life that they had.
“Sam, SAM!”
Vanderwood’s booming voice snapped her out of her thoughts.
“Sorry. Look, it’s nothing too serious right now I just, I got reckless and I may have messed up with he boss.”
“Don’t piss off your employer is one of the first rules I had ever taught you. What on earth would make you jeopardize what you have?”
“I don’t know Van! I was with the C&R director working a party being held in his honor and he is nothing like the chairman and I just thought maybe I could do things my own way. A way that works better and runs smoother and I just...”
“Oh, Sam...don’t tell me. You like the walking ATM.”
“No. I don’t.” She was extremely annoyed by Vanderwoods assumption. She knew better than that.
“No. I respect him as a business man and he has a very kind and insightful soul.”
Sam smirked she knew exactly how to mess with Van.
“And I mean I don’t know...I guess he’s just so...damn...seeexxxxyyy.”
“Stop.”
“I swear he makes my knees weak.”
“Gross.”
“He touched me and I swear my legs started to tremble, What I wouldn't’ give to see his big throb-”
“YOU DON’T TALK LIKE THAT IN FRONT OF ME.”
“Easy, Van. Holster your taser. Listen I just came over to make sure that if something does happen, you have my back.”
“Always.”
The two shared a quick side hug and Samantha made her leave. She had a lot to think about. Good think she took her bike. She was going to zip through the freeways at high speeds to clear her mind.

A gift for @sanguine-fairy :) Merry Christmas! Some lyredy & colu goodness. Part one of three because I ran a little short of time to write out the whole thing before Christmas.
The ceiling collapsing was definitely not in the plan.
Being swept off her feet by a random stranger masquerading as a white knight -- literally in this case, giving his shocking silver hair and ridiculous cape -- was not in the plan either but she kinda liked that. Meredy was a bit of a romantic at heart. But to put it bluntly, it didn’t mesh well with her life, and moments like these made her doubt her sanity.
More than usual anyway.
As debris rained down, threatening to bury the mages, a crack was the only warning she got before a blast of cold air ripped past her ear, ruffling her hood and loose locks of bubblegum hair. Ice formed before her eyes, arching out in a rippling pattern before interlocking into a shield over them, deflecting the biggest and worst of the blows that would have rained down on tender flesh.
In the chaos, several figures darted and ducked, shadowy and unsubstantial. Some of them, Meredy knew, was Jellal and the rest of Crime Sorciere, but there were several strangers too. Tracking down dark guilds sometimes led to a little more than espionage, especially since Sawyer and Erik had joined their merry little band of escaped criminals, but it rarely went this wrong.
Grit made her blink and duck her face against the broad chest of the man but before she did she saw a flash of bright yellow, and then the second blast tore through the area, tearing down the very walls around them and tossing mere tiny humans like dolls. There was enough force behind it to rip her loose from her knight's grasp, even though he'd been clutching so hard she was certain there'd be finger-shaped bruises etched into fair skin beneath fabric. Shards of ice flew as the shield gave, screams of pain and fear echoed as unfortunates were hit, and Meredy squeezed her eyes shut as she left herself fly loosely, praying the landing wouldn't be cripplingly.
As the world came into focus, disorientation kicked in. Common sense and experience left her laying very still as consciousness and its friends returned in a jumbled rushed, bit by bit, instinct up at arms for further threats. Meredy's survival instinct was well honed, like a bodybuilder's physique, and her will to live burned nearly as much as the throbbing in her leg and arm. Her falls must have been broken on the left side, and she'd taken enough tumbles to protect her important parts while skidding and bouncing around on the inhospitably hard rocks that tended to line the bottom of caves. Someday, just someday, she'd like to crash into a feather bed instead.
Bits of angry dialogue floated in, loud and argumentative, her face breaking into a relieved smile at Erik's belligerent voice. At least one of her teammates were safe, and judging by the volume, perfectly okay.
"Who the fuck are you?"
The retort was just as outraged, shrill with indignation and a hint of leftover adrenaline, "Uh, shouldn't you have asked me that BEFORE grabbing me?!!!"
Erik groaned, deep and heart-felt, the way he did when he realized it was his turn to do chores or that Sorano had requisitioned his sleeping roll or that same sound he made about nearly every single announcement Jellal made to the group. Annoyed. Aggravated. Put out. Tired of life. Whoever he'd recognized, the person wasn't a threat or a stranger. It was someone he knew, which means it was someone Meredy knew, probably, but her brains were scrambled up.
She didn't have long to wait in suspense though. Erik wasn't known for beating around the bush.
"Uggh, Fairy Tail chick. Again."
"Uggh, Rude Snake boy. Again." Her tone mimicry was incredibly spot-on despite the pitch being quite a bit higher and far more feminine.
Meredy couldn't see his face, but his tone was full of disgust as he continued, "So if you're here, so is Scarlet. Our damn fearless leader is going to fuck-off and abandon his damn job and become more useless than ever. Fucking perfect."
Lucy's retorted hotly, "Erza won't leave us here... wherever here is."
"Sure, Blondie, sure. The fucking-off wasn't literal; that asshole wouldn't even know where to stick it, probably. Just got a past record of following his dick's head instead of his brain when Scarlet is around." Erik had a lot of respect for Erza, Meredy knew, and she tried not to be offended by his words, even though a prickle of defensiveness kicked in automatically on Jellal's behalf. He wasn't wrong in his words, but they rubbed against the grain. However, living with Erik demanded when to know when to pick your battles. Now wasn't the time.
Besides, her eyelids struggled to open; she had bigger things to worry about in the grand scheme of things than someone who wasn't even present's reputation. Wheezing softly as she wiggled sideways, a weak cough squirmed out between her lips. The taste of copper didn't accompany it, only a dull blossom of burning across her ribs to match the rest of her body.
Cold.
A chill pressed against her temple, forcing her eyelids to snap open as the soothing feeling spread across her skin. If her silly brain had been expecting true love's kiss a brush away, it was sorely disappointed. All that greeted her gaze was the man's profile as he turned to regard Erik and Lucy without a trace of amusement on his stern, icy features. Fingers drifted mindlessly across her forehead, spreading a blissful numbing on the budding headache.
“Are you unharmed?” his gaze never left the two mage’s but his voice was gentle and clearly directed at her. She was terribly injured, terribly, and she’d have to stay in his lap for at least another ten minutes, maybe forever. For recovery purposes, of course. Reluctantly, she grunted and tried to push herself up, wheezing, “Been better.”
Maybe the rib was bruised; she hoped the rib was bruised. Each time she took in a drag of air, there was an ominous wheeze.
“Regretfully, Chelia was separated by the cave-in, but perhaps Heartfilia or… your companion” his face hardened and if it grew any colder she’d be feeling the effects of frostbite, “are trained in some first aid. Although, I doubt a poisoner would be of any use in a situation of healing.”
Erik just made friends wherever he went, didn’t he? Meredy sighed, wince when her ribs reminded her not to breathe so deeply. She knew about the Oracion Seis’ colorful past, to some extent, but however they’d met last time, it hadn’t be on the same side and grudges could last a long time. Not everyone was freakish like Fairy Tail about baseless forgiveness. This was already a rocky situation, but if both the Fairy Tail mage and the Ice Mage had horrible experiences with Erik in the past, things could get ugly.
“Look, Blondie, no one asked you and your pet snowman to butt into the middle of our mission.”
“Are you implying I made the ceiling fall in?” Lucy retorted archly and Meredy hid a smile. Not many people talked back to Erik so imputently. It was super cute. Plus, now that she could see his face, she knew he was enjoying it more than being annoyed by it. “Maybe you did it, you jerk! We barely just got here and the next thing I know there are rocks falling on my head and some big lug is grabbing me without asking.”
Technically, both parties had been dumb enough to walk into a trap and trigger it, but Meredy didn’t think now was the best time to bring that up. The escape of the dark guild was the least of their worries, she noted, as her gaze took in any claustrophobe’s ultimate nightmare. Dust trickled down, pebbled rolled and settled, and in the dim lighting only two immediate exits presented themselves, both cramped and dark. Perfect for more ambushes.
The bickering escalated in moments before Lucy’s summon filled the air, ringing across the small space with an authoritative air before fading away without echo.
“Virgo, dig us out!”
The spirit gave a short nod, shackles and apron swinging in a flurry. Meredy took the opportunity to slip out from under the Ice Mage’s firm hand during the distraction. He made a small sound she almost took for disappointment but wasn’t brave enough to link even for a second to find out. Besides, how would she tell his disappointment from hers?
“Yes! See, why don’t you do something useful?” Lucy’s crow was cut short by the maid returning, “I’m very sorry, Princess, but there seems to be a magic barrier preventing me from completing the tunnel. Perhaps you shall punish me for my failure?”
Lucy’s shoulders deflated as she muttered, “Never that easy, is it?”
The ice mage swept to his feet, holding a hand down to help Meredy stagger to her feet as well. Her leg hurt but it held steady and she was glad she’d chosen to switch to pants so the fabric was shredded rather than her skin. Arm out for her to lean on, he turned his attention towards the other two.
“Heartfilia has the right idea, as is to be expected. We should concentrate our efforts to extract ourselves from this current situation and give aid to our injured party members. The mission itself can wait until we’ve regrouped…”
Erik’s face grew mutinous, “Party? We ain’t together…”
“It is unavoidable circumstance,” the man replied calmly but his shoulders tensed and jaw hardened. She had the feeling if her weight wasn’t hanging off his arm, bitter cold would be gathering in preparation. Instead, he added flatly, “Besides, your companion is hurt, and furthermore, I am responsible for Heartfilia’s safety and well-being.”
Meredy nearly choked as Lucy’s face grew into a mutinous scowl that matched Erik’s perfectly.
“Pinky and I are fine without you, Ice Prick.”
“Be as that may, neither of you are in any shape to be fighting dark guild members or to go staggering through an underground maze. Believe me, this is hardly the most thrilling outcome I can imagine either.”
“I can fight just fine.”
An eyebrow arched in response.
“Ain’t nothing wrong with me.”
“Then by all means, go, but the ladies should stay here.”
Lucy’s scowled deepened, and Erik was glowering, the tips of his fangs peeking beneath taunt lips. It was going to be a race to see which one exploded first.
“You’re not the boss of me!” “Who died and made you the leader?”
This, apparently, was not the reaction he was expecting, judging by the eye bulging and slight jaw drop. Meredy could’ve seen it miles off, given Jellal had gotten the exact same attitude a million times before.
While Lyon sputtered his way through indignant shock, Meredy spoke, scratchy and frog-like, careful not to cough the dust out of her lungs, “He has a point; we should find a way out.” Face squinching up, she added with an unsteady point towards what she’d seen earlier, “It sucks there only seems to be two ways out. We might have to split up.”
All three turned to look, surprised and sheepish. Seriously? No one noticed that before? She was the unconscious one here!
“I am not sure…” the Ice mage began.
“So contrived,” Lucy added, eyeing the holes with a hefty dose of skepticism, unwilling to jump headfirst into another potential trap.
“Welp, there you go. Decided, c’mon Blondie.” Erik announced loudly, grabbing her wrist and dragging her along towards the left tunnel. “He said leave the ladies, so it's time for us to split. Stay in touch, Pinky, so we know where you are to rescue the damsels.”
That self-serving little… grrr. He just wanted to get out from under the other man’s thumb, and he threw her under the bus to do it! Anger burned brightly, sparking her temper, and she sucked in a huge breath to let him know how she felt about the matter… only to belated remember what a terrible idea that was. The consequences were swift and unforgiving, leaving her bent over, hacking and wheezing and whining with protest at her lungs’ rebellion.
“Did he refer to me as a damsel…?”
If she wasn’t busy hacking her lungs up her esophagus, she’d reassure him that was exactly what Erik had done. But if she wasn’t busy hacking up her lungs, she’d also be cursing Erik with every single bad word Sorano had taught her and a few more that she’d picked up on their travels.
Sooth circles across her back eased the coughing fit.
Awfully free with the touching, she thought, both her wits and her guard back up. Straightening, she brushed his hand off. It wasn’t a curt gesture but it was firm. She wasn’t a child, she wasn’t his girlfriend or even his friend, and he hadn’t asked.
Even so, she missed his touch instantly, a sort of hunger awakened. Any nice touches to grace her person were few and far between. Hair was braided, every so often, shoulders were clapped in celebration or comradery, sometimes. When she was younger, her nightmares were an excuse to crawl into others’ beds, but now they earned a few pats to the head and murmurs of sympathy. It was enough because it had to be enough, not because it was.
“Are you certain you are well?”
“As well as I’m going to be, under the circumstances, to quote your words. Look, thanks for worry, but it's just a few bruised ribs, I think, nothing life threatening. I can still walk,” painfully, she supplemented, not thrilled at all about it, “And despite what Erik said, we can’t just wait around like damsels in a tower. What if the dark guild attacks? You said it, I’m in no shape to fight, and you can’t fight if you have to defend. Plus,” she smothered a wheeze, “we’re going to run out of air. I can already feel it.”
He gave her a long, assessing look that peered deeper than she wanted, making her squirm at the scrutiny. Those eyes were dark, piercing and had a sharp edge to them that chilled, and if anyone could look at her soul with their eyes, she was certain it’d be his.
“Leave a girl some mystery, will you?” the protest slipped out. What an overbearing, invasive jerk. It lacked bite, though.
“I am impressed by your logic and rational.”
“Are you suggesting that girls are hysterical and emotional?”
“W-what… no…”
“Listen, I’ve spent years with two reckless suicidal maniacs and now run around with a group of Fuck the Man criminals with the common sense of wolverines. Someone has to keep their head on straight.” Meredy gave an exhausted sigh just remembering some of the more recent incidents; it was amazing they got to keep their heads at all given the dangerous situations they’d scraped out of.
Rifling through his pack, he pulled out a small, odd-looking lacrima the color of burnt caramel. Curiosity lured her in. Shiny things were a weakness she’d rather not admit to, especially magical ones.
“Chelia embedded some power in it, for emergencies.”
“I see.” Meredy vaguely remembered a name and face but it didn’t clear anything up about what the lacrima.
“May I?” he gestured to her breasts with a flush shining beneath pale skin. Crossing her arms across herself, she glared. The flush deepened, eyes suddenly full of panic. Gesturing with jerky movements, his mouth made a few sounds that could have been words slurred out by a drunk or a particularly talented parrot.
Why were guys always like this? Gross.
“It requires application at the site of the injury, I swear,” he finally managed, the flush down his neck and collarbone. Jerking out both hands with the lacrima nestled in between, he ducked his head like a teenage boy, “I am… it is not what you are imagining! I… here, you place it and I will activate it.”
It was her turn to flush to match her hair.
Biting her lip, the lacrima was retrieved hastily and pressed against the worst of the pain, “Thanks.”
It seemed like the most awkward time to bring this up, his hand at arm’s length, hovering haphazardly as he tried to look but not look and touch but not touch, but it’d been driving her crazy this whole time.
He was just so familiar.
“What’s your name again?”
His hand slipped and she wasn’t even mad. At him. Erik, on the other hand, was going to get it for leaving her behind and taking the Fairy Tail mage. What happened to Crime Sorciere sticks together? Granted, that’d never been their motto, but it was the feeling that counted.
She hoped Lucy was giving him hell for her, she truly did.

So, things that I just started doing for my beauty:
(under a readmore, because while this isn’t nsfw or anything, some of it may be TMI to some people)
(and, TL;DR (in a less TMI way)- I’m practicing better shaving and hygiene habits, and I plan to practice even more of those and then start getting into makeup, and once I get my makeup on point I can start working on getting girly clothes (I’m too self-conscious to buy girly clothes when I still look conventionally masculine), and once I get girly clothes I can stop rushing things and just keep up the habits I’ve formed over this whole debacle, and finally start fully living as a girl!)
Shaving my face in the morning: I just started this like ten minutes before starting this post. I put it on my “daily routine” a while ago, but I’ve been slowly easing myself into that routine, letting myself skip a few things temporarily- today was the start of actually shaving in the morning. I make an exception if either I showered last night, or I’m gonna shower today AND I don’t have any plans that would need to happen before the shower. Although, now I’m starting to wonder if I actually want to keep this up- I cut myself more than usual, and it didn’t even accomplish all that much. And it’s probably a waste of shaving cream, aftershave, and blades. The aftershave is just aftershave, but the blades and the shaving cream are gonna be a pain to replace because I need very specific blades and cream, so...
Exfoliating during my weekly Big Showers (as opposed to my semidaily Normal Showers): I started this the last time I showered. I got exfoliation cream, and I specifically asked for exfoliation cream without pits or seeds because exfoliation cream WITH pits or seeds is actually bad for the environment. I exfoliate my whole body now.
Using my fancy new shaving cream: I started this the last time I showered, too. It’s supposed to stunt hair growth so you don’t need to shave quite as often, so I’ll adjust my shaving schedule as I start seeing results from that.
Using aftershave: Okay, I’m just gonna say it now- the only thing that didn’t start in my most recent shower was the shaving in the morning, which just started. Anyways, I use aftershave now. I specifically asked for aftershave with aloe vera in it. Aftershave burns a bit when you put it on, but it makes your face feel less raw in the long term. If this was just a matter of pain, the less rawness wouldn’t be worth the burn... but your face being less raw means you can shave more often without damaging your face, so.
Shaving my arms during my weekly Big Showers: My arms aren’t particularly hairy compared to my chest, let alone to my legs, let alone to my face, and let alone to my armpits, but if you look closely there IS hair there. So, I’ll shave that area once a week. I don’t think I need to bother with the cream there, though, water is probably good enough and it doesn’t grow fast enough for me to worry about stunting it.
Things I was already doing for my beauty: Shaving my face after every shower, shaving my legs and chest during my weekly Big Showers, shampooing my hair in every shower, using body soap from my neck to my ankles during my weekly Big Showers, using baby soap on my face during my weekly Big Showers, using special foot soap on my feet during my weekly Big Showers, putting my hair in a side ponytail every morning when I feel like my hair is up to it
Things I will start doing for my beauty very soon, possibly in my next Big Shower:
Shaving my armpits and butt: This is gonna be difficult for sure, but it’s also gonna be worth it because I’m sick of having hair in those two places. Especially my butt. Oh, sure, armpit hair is ugly, but butt hair is ugly AND it makes it harder to keep my butt clean. Eugh.
Moisturizing after every Big Shower: I actually meant to do this in my last Big Shower, I just forgot.
Things I will start doing for my beauty once I’m more on-point with all of the above:
Makeup, mainly to hide my 5′o’clock shadow. I fucking hate 5′o’clock shadow. No matter how well I shave, how smooth my skin feels, you can still visibly see that I get facial hair because my upper lip is blue. I’m really only waiting for this because I want to be sure that my face is as smooth as possible when I go to the cosmetics store and get the makeup I need. My Mom already told me about how they can actually help me find what I need, and the way she told me implied that they were very understanding of trans people, so.
More makeup, this time for more typical reasons like accenting. If I’m gonna be wearing makeup to hide my 5′o’clock shadow, I might as well look into stuff like lipstick and eyeliner, right? I mean, I’m interested, and it won’t be particularly much more work.
And then once I’m more on-point with that and my voice training, I’ll deal with this:
Going clothes shopping: I have very little in the way of girly clothes. I have a small handful of bras that I have lost track of (though, I’ll probably find them once I’ve gotten farther in cleaning my room), a trio of skirts that I have also lost track of (I actually have no idea where these went; I haven’t seen them since I was fifteen); a skirt that I actually do know where it is, and I actually like better than any of those three (I actually wore that skirt to prom, which so far has been the only occasion where I’ve gone out in public visibly feminine! And all my friends and teachers complimented me! Which was really the only good part about prom, prom was horribly boring); and finally, a pair of heels that share a similar fate as the bras- I dunno where they are, but they’ll turn up eventually. And, like, I want to dress all girly. I’m sick and tired of dressing like a guy all the time.
And once I’ve started going clothes shopping, I can call my “become more visibly girly” mission a success. I can still improve in little ways here and there, but I think I’ll be able to be comfortable introducing myself as a woman IRL in addition to online. And I’ll actually be comfortable enough to put myself out into the dating scene, because I do actually want a girlfriend, I just don’t want to get a girlfriend while I look the way I do right now. I know I could probably get one now if I can get one then, there are plenty of open-minded ladies out there, but I’m not comfortable with that.
Because, like, once I’ve gone clothes shopping, there are only a few aspects of my masculinity that’ll be left:
My voice: May or may not still be an issue by then, but I’m working on it already. If it’s not mostly dealt with by then, I’ll look into getting professional voice training.
My Adam’s Apple: I dislike it, but I don’t see any easy way of dealing with it and it’s not the worst thing ever.
My lack of tits: Not the end of the world, and even if it was, I can always pad.
My dick: I actually like this part and want to keep it.
I can finally shine out the shadow cast by my masculinity. Hell yes.
