Thinking sad stuff about Fulgrim

In canon he was the only Primarch, I believe, who was stated to have been married multiple times and tbh considering how other Primarchs roll, it's not like marriage is a neccessity to them (almost all were made/became rulers of their homeworlds anyways).

I guess there are many reasons why Fulgrim could have been married many times, but I personally prefer to think he did so actually because he wanted kids. Or family of his own. A whole unit. I mean if you look at him, he's probs one of the few Primarchs who would actually be good at it. And would prefer peaceful existence instead of constant warfare.

And yet, it just never happened. No matter if he married out of love, or due to political reasons, no heir ever came. So he eventually lost hope and even if entered few marriages, those were just an officiality, nothing more...

It never happened no matter how he tried #And he starts to think that this is all his fault... That he isn't good enough #And to add salt on the wound imagine if other primarchs somehow managed to sire kids #How painful that would be for fulgrim?
