Gwynedd has a passion for the brewing and distilling of alcohol, which she does on the island Tataru got for her. If she even gets a chance to retire, she'll have a potential booze business to fall back on.
Llewellyn loves cheese. He should not eat cheese. He is lactose intolerant.
having a bit of a dreary morning so I bring a wol question to you all
what's your favorite fact about your wol/oc?
do they have a hobby? is it one of the crafting jobs? are they on a personal journey to sample every type of cheese in the world? do they have any remarkably specific quirks or habits? what's something you've added to them that just really makes them... them.
(and as always, bonus points for including a screenshot of your lovelies <3)

#FFXIVWrite2023 Day 6: Ring
Gwynedd visits her family aboard their ship to discuss a family heirloom.
Finding peace following the Final Days was difficult for Gwynedd. Not only was there a significant amount of damage done to different parts of the world that she felt obligated to help with, but the Scions had also parted ways for the time being, leaving her without the close friends she had grown so accustomed to being around. Even her own brother had returned to Garlemald to aid in recovery efforts. Gwynedd felt lost, and so when her mother sent her a letter asking that she visit home, she was happy to return to the most comfortable place she could think of.
As she walked up the gangplank of The Hullripper, Gwynedd was greeted by the excited swarming of her little siblings. L’nari climbed up Gwynedd’s back to cling to her shoulder, Cavato and Serus hugged her legs, Matia held onto one of her hands, and Fiona waved to try and get Gwynedd’s attention with Meteion perched atop her head.
“Kids, don’t crowd your sister!” The captain of the ship and mother of the Grufud brood, Angharad, came above deck. She gave Gwynedd a hug and pulled L’nari off of her back.
“But we’ve missed her!” L’nari whined.
“I’ve missed you all, too.” Gwynedd patted the little miqo’te on the head. “But I think Mum wanted to talk to me.” She carefully disentangled herself from the rest of her siblings and followed her mother into the captain’s quarters.
From the map table, her father, Rhodri, stood to give his eldest child a tight hug.
“Good to have ye back, Gwyn.” He held her for a moment. “In one piece and all.”
“Good to be back, Dad.” Gwynedd sighed. When they stepped apart, the three roegadyn all took seats at the table. “So, you mentioned wanting to discuss something with me in your letter. What was it?” She asked. Angharad pulled three ale bottles from a nearby side table and passed them out.
“Well, it’s about your grandfather’s ring.” Angharad began. Gwynedd hummed in acknowledgement as she took a drink from her bottle. “We were wondering if you wanted us to save it for you or… give it to your brother.” Gwynedd choked on her ale.
“My brother-” She coughed and wiped her mouth. “Has he asked for it!? Seven Hells, he’s what, seventeen!? That’s far too young!”
“He’s nineteen, but no, he hasn’t.” Angharad put a hand on her daughter’s. “But of the two of you, Llewellyn is the only one in any sort of serious relationship, and you’re almost thirty.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Gwynedd scowled. “You can hang onto the ring for Welly, I’d rather he have it, but I’d like to know what you’re bringing this up for.”
“We just wanted to check with ye before making any decisions, and we wanted to make sure that ye are… okay.” Rhodri explained with a concerned look on his face.
“You’ve been through quite a lot recently and…” Angharad paused, trying to find the right words. “We figured you might be looking to perhaps settle down soon.” Gwynedd sighed heavily and slumped in her seat.
“If I’m being honest, I don’t think I can settle down.” She said quietly. “It’s not as if I have someone to settle down with, but even if I did, I don’t think I’d want to.” She chugged the rest of the bottle of ale in her hand. “Even after everything that’s happened, now that I’m healed up and all, I already feel so restless.”
“But are you happy?” Angharad asked, and Gwynedd paused for a moment.
“Yeah. Yeah, I’m happy.” She smiled at her parents. “I love what I do, and I never want to stop doing it.”
“That’s all we wanted to know. We love ye, Gwyn.” Rhodri stood up and moved around the table to pat Gwynedd’s shoulder.
“I love you guys, too.” Gwynedd got up as well. “I should probably go spend time with the little ones before they tear the door down.” She laughed.
“Aye, that they might.” Angharad nodded. “And next time you come ‘round, perhaps you could bring Estinien with you to visit. He’s always welcome here.”
“Mum, for the last time, you cannot adopt a full-grown man!”
