He has a lot of female friends and is naturally a flirtatious guy, but he's loyal to his wife. Their marriage is toxic in other ways, but he's not a cheater.

Can you analyze Rain and Kim Taehee marriage?

Right now I am sensing a lot of tension and arguments about finances - something about housing/investments. They are having different opinions about finances. I believe one wants to sell some asset(s) and the other doesn't. There are also a couple of investments on Rain's end that didn't pan out so well - music related so he has incurred some debt because of that.

I see that they are also arguing about parenting. They disagree with some parts of each party's parenting style. When Rain is mad he often likes to leave the house and then drive off and dump her with the kids. She's just like what??? where are you off to now? He won't return home till the next day or a few days later.

Kim Taehee feels a bit exhausted being the one who is primarily looking after the children. She feels that her career has sort of taken a backseat after marriage and that she dedicated a lot of her time and herself to the children. She lost a lot of "time" and sometimes she is envious of her fellow female colleagues who do not have children or who are not married and are still acting a lot. It's not that she isn't acting ; it's just she feels that she isn't so active before in acting and there aren't that many dramas/films that are looking for her compared to before. She also feels that Rain hasn't really pulled his share of parenting these days and that whenever she needs his help with the kids he makes excuses to avoid helping her. She doesn't know what's keeping Rain so busy and feels a bit lost. She doesn't really have an outlet to complain to because she knows people talk.

Rain feels like Taehee is nagging too much these days. She isn't as sweet or gentle as before. He feels like they've gotten boring as a couple and whenever he speaks to her she's always asking questions or telling him to do this or that. He feels like Taehee just talks about the kids and doesn't care so much about him anymore. He still cares about her but he wants to escape from his marriage responsibilities and wants to go back to when they were dating.

Rain these days feels quite stressed out. There seems to be some situation that he cannot solve. I think it's financially related.

Synopsis: The Crown Prince's wife gave birth to twins, but twins were considered an ominous sign. The twin daughter was supposed to be killed, but her mother begged to save her life. Secretly, the twin daughter is sent out of the palace. A few years later, the twin son Lee Hwi is killed. The Crown Prince's wife hides her twin son's death and brings her twin daughter back to the palace and raises her as Prince Lee Hwi. Lee Hwi eventually becomes a crown prince, but she is afraid her real identity will be revealed. Because of her secret, Lee Hwi is unable to have anyone close to her.

Positives: Very well written romantic drama with great characters, interesting plot, the right amount of intriquing evil ministers and heartwarming scenes full of love and friendship. Suprisingly well handled love triangle and the story ending.

Negatives: The main plot itself (the woman dressing up as a man) is little bit cheesy, because it would suprise me that no one would be suspicious earlier. Some characters are not the sharpest pencils in the box.

Conclusion: Very good historical romance that is fun to watch.

Rain catches you

Rain walks into the bedroom unexpectedly, his tie loosened and his sleeves rolled up after a long day of work. He stops in his tracks, his eyes widening slightly as he takes in the sight of you under the soft glow of the bedside lamp, caught mid-moment.

“Y/N,” he murmurs, his voice low and laced with surprise. His gaze softens almost immediately, a mix of affection and undeniable heat in his expression. You quickly move to cover yourself, cheeks flushed with embarrassment. “I didn’t think you’d be home so soon,” you say, trying to steady your breath.

He steps closer, his movements slow and deliberate, his lips curving into a knowing smile. “Don’t stop on my account,” he says, his voice a deep, playful tease. “But if you wanted help, you could’ve just called for me.”

You bite your lip, unsure whether to feel shy or bold, but Rain’s presence and the way he looks at you make the decision for you. His hands find yours, gently guiding them away as he whispers, “let me take care of you.”

From there, the air grows heavier with intimacy, Rain making it his mission to ensure you never feel the need to be alone in moments like this again.

Rain’s lips brush against yours as his hands explore every inch of you, his touch deliberate and reverent. His voice, soft yet commanding, murmurs against your ear, “you don’t have to hide anything from me, Y/N. Let me give you what you need.” He leans back slightly, his dark eyes locking onto yours, searching for any hesitation. When you nod, your cheeks still flushed, he smirks, the confidence in his demeanor setting your heart racing.

“Good,” he says simply, his voice deep and sure.

His lips trail down your neck, leaving a path of heat in their wake. He’s patient, savoring the moment, making sure you feel every ounce of his devotion and desire. His hands grip your thighs, pulling you closer, his movements unhurried as he makes it clear that his focus is solely on you.

“You’re beautiful like this,” he murmurs, his voice almost reverent. “Don’t ever think you need to do anything alone. Especially this.”

The way he speaks your name, the way he touches you—it’s overwhelming in the best way. Every kiss, every caress, reminds you just how deeply he loves you.

Rain makes sure you’re left with no doubt: you’re his, and he’s here for every part of you, always.
