Animation Attempt 1

Tried animating/storyboarding a scene from the story in my head! This is only my second attempt at doing something like this in over a decade, so bear with me while I try to figure this out.

Sketch I drew of three of my Andalites: Junera, Sarifel, and Denirit (left to right). The uh... Story behind this picture is not safe for work, so I won't go into too much detail about it here. You can probably guess what's happening anyways.

I tried to do a warmup sketch of an Andalite stretching and it turned into a picture of two of my OCs, neither of which is stretching. Sarifel is instead taking a nap while Junera works on a thingamajig.

I took a day off from everything on Friday to just relax, and ended up coloring my sketch of Sarifel and Junera to pass the time.

I plan on polishing this up some more later, but for now I’ve gotta get back to other things, like an Andalite TF commission I should have finished a while ago!

New work in progress on one of my Andalite OCs. This one is Junera-Ixhenalli-Kihret, future War-Princess and chief buttkicker in the Second Yeerk War story I am working on.

I am going to keep drawing these two being cute with each other even if I never do get around to finishing their story.

Stayed up past the point of sentient thought this morning and ended up drawing this. No, I don't know what's going on in this scene. All I know is there are Andalites and a Taxxon with bowties and tophats.

I have several across multiple (unfinished) stories! I don't have art of all of them yet, but I can provide a few descriptions in the mean time!

Sarifel-Corrisafid-Ilxhel was my first one. He and his parents, Daltin and Seruli, live in the southern mountains on Andal, down where it snows every winter. That was the only place Seruli would be allowed to build her giant greenhouses. Seruli and Daltin are both Yeerk War veterans- Daltin was an engineer who worked on several different Dome Ships, and Seruli served as an administrative assistant on Leera. They met on the Dome Ship TailStrike after the Leera campaign ended in a victory for the Andalites.

Sarifel is an aristh in 2020 when the Second Yeerk War started.

Denirit-Sirinial-Etteir is another aristh in 2020. He's a Name-Bearer: a third (or fourth) child born to carry a family name forward if one of the older siblings died. So he carries the family name Sirinial after his oldest brother was killed on Earth during the Yeerk War. You know the story, probably. The Dome Ship GalaxyTree rushed ahead of it's escorts and was ambushed by Pool Ship Five of Century Seven and the Blade Ship Vengeance.

Junera-Ixhenalli-Kihret is the third in the group of arisths. She's the tallest in the group and the mischief maker of the group, being the one to defy orders first and drag everyone else along for the ride.

Jeximi-Erinilith-Isun is yet another aristh who grew up with Denirit. She's a bit abrasive- Her grandfather, Alloran-Semitur-Corrass, is not very popular and other kids didn't hesitate to remind her of this. So she didn't hesitate to knock them upside the head each and every time.

Orlanth-Lentiniril-Milar is the fifth in the group. He's what every older Andalite worries about when they say Humans are corrupting the youth. He's loud, unobservant, undisciplined, and knows more about Human culture than he does his own. But he's an okay rookie pilot, so nobody has thrown him out of an airlock yet.

Others who are more secondary include:

Armet-Simminian-Lorun, who served with Daltin in the fleet during the Yeerk War and has achieved the rank of Prince by 2020. He was Sarifel's Prince on a couple of different assignments.

Eliddim-Wynsirrouth-Nartel, Captain of the science vessel Inid Hill. Retired vet of the Hork-Bajir campaign who traded his Shredder for a microscope, as he sometimes puts it.

Derrin-Serrinigouth-Merrin, or Err for short. Science officer on the Inid Hill. He has a relationship with Prince Armet, who was the ship's former security chief during the Inid Hill's deployment to the Taxxon Homeworld.

Instructor Hallisor, teacher of Morphing Proficiency at one of the Andalite academies. He's a spiteful, bigoted moron who hates anyone and everyone, but he knows his stuff. He is infamous and virtually every Andalite who learned to morph suffered under him or has heard the horror stories.

Instructor Dorabril, teacher of several classes including weapons proficiency. He doesn't have time for nonsense but will help students individually outside of normal class hours if they're struggling.

And a bunch others.

Unrelated to that story, I have Casin-Falissun-Jackson, who lives a bit further in the future. His mom was a human for most of her life, hence the human name Jackson.

I would share more about his story but it's even less developed than the Second Yeerk War one is.
