Liverpool Teen Ben Woodburn has joined League One Oxford United on a seasonal loan in an attempt to kick start his career.

Woodburn, 19, became the youngest goal scorer in Liverpool's history in 2016, but struggled on loan to Sheffield United last season and was not named in The 29-member team of Jurgen Klopp for the Liverpool training camp in France this week.

Liverpool hopes to spell Karl Robinson in Oxford under Scouser will help international Wales to help rediscover its early promise.

Claims Julian Assange put faeces on the walls of the Ecuadorian embassy were lies, his lawyer says. 

Jennifer Robinson, Assange’s lawyer, says Ecuador made ‘outrageous’ claims about Assange’s actions while inside the Knightsbridge embassy.  

She said the claims were fabricated as a pretext to force him out. 

Ms Robinson told Sky’s Ridge on Sunday: ‘The first thing to say is Ecuador has been making some outrageous allegations. It’s a difficult situation.

‘Ecuador has made these allegations to justify the unlawful and extraordinary act of letting police come inside an embassy.’

Pushed over the veracity of the allegations, Ms Robinson said: ‘That’s not true’. 

He went in to the embassy in 2012 to avoid ‘US injustice’ rather than Swedish justice, according to Ms Robinson.

The Wikileaks founder is facing charges in the US for ‘conspiracy to commit computer intrusion’ after he published sensitive government documents in 2010. 

His lawyer claims he ‘has cooperated with the Swedish investigation’ in to allegations of rape and sexual misconduct. 

She said: ‘This was and is not about avoiding facing Swedish justice. It is about avoiding US injustice. He has cooperated with the Swedish investigation. 

‘Swedish prosecutors came into the embassy to hear his testimony. After that they closed the case.’ 

Assange lived in the embassy for more than seven years before his arrest on Thursday.

Ecuador’s president Lenin Moreno accused the Australian of ‘discourteous and aggressive behaviour’ as he confirmed the south American country had withdrawn his asylum status.

Rafael Correa, Ecuadorian president when Assange was granted asylum, branded Moreno a traitor.

But the country’s Interior Minister Maria Paula Romo hit back by claiming Correa had allowed the 47-year-old to get away with some unimaginable behaviour. 

She said: ‘During his stay at the Ecuadorian Embassy, during the government of the former president Rafael Correa, they tolerated things like Mr Assange putting faeces on the walls of the embassy and other types of behaviour of this kind that is far removed from the minimum respect a guest should have in a country which has generously welcomed him.’

She did not make it clear if he had used his own faeces or someone else’s.

Ms Robinson added: ‘I’ve been visiting him for the last seven years. This man has been inside a room with no outside access. Inside the embassy it’s become more difficult.

‘He stayed inside the embassy for so long because of a real and legitimate fear of US extradition which, as we saw on Thursday, proved to be justifiable fears.

‘People can’t understand what it would be live to live in a room like that for a very long amount of time. It has not been easy.

‘The politics of the case with respect with Ecuador’s change of government with Lenin Moreno coming to power and ever since then inside the embassy it’s become more and more difficult to the point where Human Rights Watch said was akin to solitary confinement.’

Road user Kat Jaroensuk - who was riding behind on a motorcycle - said she caught up with the driver to tell them the hapless dog was following their vehicle.

But she claims a passenger then wound down a window and told them that they 'did not want him'.

Kat then began recording the scene as the dog chased in vain, before the truck eventually pulled away leaving the pet homeless.

'I didn't know how long this poor dog had been running after the car but I could see that he was running so fast that his legs were sore,' Kat said. #animal 'I honked at the truck to get their attention, but the driver did not seem to slow down. So, I accelerated my motorbike to knock on the window and told the couple inside that they were being followed by the dog.

'At first, I was being positive and helpful, because I really thought that they might really not know about it.

'But when the wife replied me "yeah, we don't want it" and shut the window right in front of my face, then I knew that they intentionally left their own pet behind.'

Kat said that after checking with friends in the area, she believed that the couple had been moving house.

She said it was 'disgraceful' to leave the puppy then ignore it when it wanted to be with them.

She added: 'The dog kept running and crying even though the truck was nowhere to be seen. I

'was very sad and afraid for him. He could have been hit and killed by a car. If you know you can't raise a pet at the first place, you shouldn't leave him in a terrible condition like this.' ENDS

This is the terrifying moment a man jumps of his balcony wearing a parachute he reportedly bought online as a crying female relative begs him not to.

Footage shows a man in a pink t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops standing on a ledge on an upper floor of a high-rise apartment block in Brazil preparing to perform his daredevil stunt.

The thrill-seeker, who is believed to have bought his parachute off the internet, then counts down from three before leaping from the balcony – despite cries of anguish from a woman standing behind him in the flat.

Video then shows him plunging down towards the trees far below as he releases his parachute.

Incredibly, he is able to sweep around to the left and appears to make a safe landing far below as men on the balcony shout down to him. 

The camera then shows a woman carrying a young child crying as she walks back inside.

The thrill-seeker, who is believed to have bought his parachute off the internet, then counts down from three before leaping from the balcony – despite cries of anguish from a woman standing behind him in the flat

The identity of the parachute jumper and the exact location of the apartment block is not known. There are suggestions on social media that the man appeared to be an expert.

One man claiming to be a parachutist in the Brazilian air force commented on the video: ‘By analysing the video, I can affirm that he knew exactly what he was going to do.

Another said: ‘The closed curve that he makes at the end of the video so he does not fall in the neighbouring parking lot makes it clear that the guy is skilled.’

While some saluted his bravery, others hit out at the stunt, claiming it was ‘irresponsible’ and ‘stupid’.
