Album of the day: Reborn, the first full-length album by Finnish heavy metal cover super group Northern Kings, released in 2007. The album sold over 17000 copies in Finland alone and thus was certified gold. Two singles were released from this album: "We Don't Need Another Hero" (Tina Turner cover, from the soundtrack of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome) and "Hello" (Lionel Richie cover).

Some facts about my knight Edanellos (cause I’m totally avoiding doing work)

Has a giant Maine Coon cat called Queenie, and he is rarely seen without her on his shoulders.

Cats seem to just come to him and he ends up fostering or taking care of a lot of sick or injured cats and orphaned kittens. Queenie tends to help keep them in line, much like her name.

A surprising literary buff, but only for epic poems and poetry in general. In modern terms, he’s a huge fucking nerd for Lord of the Rings, Beowulf, The Odyssey, etc.

The only bits of him not tattooed are the soles of his feet, palms, armpits, (most of) his face, and some more “sensitive” bits. And yes, he does shave in order to show off the tattoos more

Has a tongue piercing 👅

Yes, his piercings have been ripped out in fights before. Yes, he gets them repierced once they heal. No, he’s not going to stop, because he likes the piercings and the pain.

Raskasta joulua IV, released on 17th November 2017 through Spinefarm Records. The album contains Christmas songs performed in heavy rock/metal style (in Finnish, and one song in Swedish) , fronted by Finland's most acclaimed metal vocalists. Raskasta Joulua is a term in Finnish which means "Heavy Christmas" in English. The concept was founded by guitarist Erkka Korhonen in 2004. "Raskasta Joulua" - albums and tours have featured appearances of many notable metal vocalists.

The Dragon x Sarah - Dark Sarah videos

When I posted the first version of my list of canon villain/hero ships with a happy ending (you may find the latest version - which includes some additions - here), @littlealiengrl09 suggested a couple of the videos of the Finnish cinematic metal band Dark Sarah as examples.

I made a small digging up and while it turned out that Sarah and the Dragon don’t have a happy ending yet (The Golden Moth is described as the last part the FIRST trilogy, so there’s still a chance that their story will end happily), these videos are highly recommendable for any villain/hero(ine) fan.

The entire story of Sarah and her evil persona Dark Sarah consists of three albums - Behind the Black Veil, The Puzzle and The Golden Moth - and one pocketbook (The Chronicles). Sarah and Dragon’s subplot is included in the song Dance with the Dragon from The Puzzle album and in the songs from The Golden Moth album.

If you don’t want to listen to all these songs, look at least at these music videos (like @littlealiengrl09‘s pointed out, Heidi Parviainen and Juha-Pekka Leppäluoto have awesome chemistry).
