Abraham showed Tom around the house and gave him a little background on the family history...
ABRAHAM-Â âThis was my mother, she died when I was three, and this is my grandfathers, Lennon and Nico, they live here in Willow Creek.â
TOM-Â âAnd who is the older portrait ?
ABRAHAM- âShe was one of the original owners of this house. Her grandfather-in-law built this house for his wife and she lived here after the death of her husband. Bella Goth, she was the first known witch. There were others before her of course, but she made her gifts public. A very powerful woman. She handed this home down to my great-grandmother, Saffron Boedell.â
TOM-Â âYou have a rich heritage, Abraham. So it doesnât have to stop with you, you know that right?â
ABRAHAM-Â âI am not sure if I want children, really, I know that Ezil would love to have kids. But itâs almost impossible for us to have any.
TOM-Â âNot as long as you have a family member or Ezil has a family member that would be willing to produce eggs....
As Tom talked to Abraham about family, Jude and Ezil talked about work....
JUDE-Â âSo Dad says the school is doing great.â
EZIL-Â âYes, it is, we had 15 kids this first year, and we already have another 10 that have applied next year.â
JUDE-Â âI kind of thought you would go into being a teacher, but honestly, I never seen Abraham as the teaching kind.â
EZIL-Â âHe is loving it actually.â

They shot a few hoops and was getting into it, but Abraham was really curious about so much. And now that he had someone he could talk about it with, he wanted to know things....
ABRAHAM-Â âSo you talk like youâve been with guys...â
JUDE-Â âYeah, I have.â
ABRAHAM-Â âWow, how many?â
JUDE- âIâm not a whore... only two. One was a guy that used to live around here, but his father got transferred to Pleasantview. We met up a couple times after he moved, but then it just fizzled out. I mean we were only 14 or 15.â
ABRAHAM-Â âAnd the other one?â
JUDE- âHe is actually an older guy. We just started hooking up, when he is in town anyway. I mean itâs nothing but sex as it is not going to go anywhere, but right now Iâm not really interested in a relationship.â
ABRAHAM-Â âOlder, how much older?? So how did the first time happen?â
JUDE-Â âI thought we were playing basketball...you are loosing by the way.â

He came over to where, Abraham was sitting, and could tell immediately that he was upset about something.
JUDE- âWhatâs up, you look a little pissed? My Dad giving you too much homework again?â
ABRAHAM-Â âNo, itâs not him...Itâs nothing really.â
JUDE-Â âYou can tell the Jude Dude, man, I donât want to play basketball with you distracted, I want to beat you fair and square.â
ABRAHAM- âItâs Ezil, he is just been acting really weird lately and now he isnât wanting to go to Alexandria to work as an apprentice next year. I mean I donât want that shit, but I really think he does. Plus he has no one here...but me.â
JUDE- âHe does rely on you alot. Itâs almost like he is dependent on you...but if he doesnât really want to go, you shouldnât talk about it. I mean he may want to, but donât want to leave here. He has it nice here, and you two are pretty close.â
ABRAHAM- âYeah, maybe. Sometimes I think he might, be like...----â
JUDE-Â âIn love with you?â
ABRAHAM-Â âYeah...so you see it?â
JUDE- âKind of. I mean he is pretty protective of you, and like I said he seems kind of dependent on you. And I donât think he likes that we hang out together now. Maybe he is a little jealous that you have another friend besides him.â
ABRAHAM- âMaybe thatâs it. I mean we have never really had other friends. Itâs always just been us, and his sister. And we sure havenât talked about our...sexuality. Itâs just never came up. I havenât really gave it much thought until lately. The way he has been acting.... Iâm not sure.â
JUDE- âAre you attracted to him? I mean like in that way?â
ABRAHAM-Â âI mean...I donât really know...I mean we have grown up together. We do everything together, well up until now. We are very open, you know...like we get dressed in the same room, we even have showered together before. I donât know....maybe. He is built really nice....and---â
JUDE-Â âUH..I donât want to know. Well maybe I do... But honestly, when I first met the two of you, I thought you were boyfriends.
ABRAHAM-Â âYou are probably right, and to be honest, I do love him...I just donât know about the sex stuff...â
JUDE- âBeing gay isnât ALL about the sex ...I mean itâs hot, but when you love someone, it isnât and shouldnât just be about sex. It should be trust, and respect...and you just get each other...you know? When sex does happen, all those things make it so much better.â
ABRAHAM-Â â I do respect him and trust him with my life...and there is no one that knows me like Ezil does...and there have been times I have had fantasies...â
JUDE- âItâs all good Boedell, that is normal. Donât be afraid of it. Hell your grandparents are gay and so is Lucien. You should know more than anyone about how important it is to be who you are.â
ABRAHAM-Â âSo what should I do...I mean how do I just ask him???â
JUDE- âI mean you donât need to do anything any different. But maybe just bring up what you just told me, about how you feel about him. If he is in love with you, I am sure he will tell you then...and if not, then Iâm available....â
ABRAHAM-Â âYou are pretty hot.... LOLâ
JUDE-Â âSee, donât it feel good to say that, even if you were joking.â
ABRAHAM-Â âI wasnât joking, you are.â
JUDE-Â âWe should play basketball....â

TOM- âSo glad we got the chance to meet, and hopefully we can help you two become parents! Have your sister call us tomorrow Ezil, and we can get started right away.â
EZIL- âI will. Itâs a little scary, I will admit, but at the same time exciting.â
TOM-Â âAfter seeing your family and heritage, I think this is a good chance and opportunity for you two carry on the legacy.â
ABRAHAM-Â âMy grandfathers are going to be ecstatic!â

EZIL- âJude...it is really good to see you again. I hope we can start over.â
JUDE- âYou bet, Ezil. It was obvious to me even then that the two of you were meant to be together. And now what the two of you are doing at the school. Destiny has a way of making things right.â
EZIL-Â âAbraham says you have a boyfriend?â
JUDE- âYeah, his name is Tom. We just got our first place together. He is a fantastic guy, and I really care about him.
They sat down at the park bench and chatted for a while....
JUDE- âAfter everything that happened with Solomon, and then him dying, I realized I needed to find someone that wanted what I wanted. Even though I didnât think that is what I wanted. I dated a couple guys, but nothing. Then when I met Tom, things just clicked.â
EZIL-Â âIâm sorry about Solomon...I mean I know you two werenât like together, but I am sure you were close to him.â
JUDE- âYes, and it was hard when I heard how he died, but the two of you!! Wow...you saved Lucienâs life and well it all ended the way it should have. Solomon is at peace now. I hope Lucien is okay.â
ABRAHAM- âHe has put all his energy into the the realm and the covens. He will be good. Â

Jude Goth was two years older than Abraham, he just turned seventeen. He had some magical abilities, but not like Abraham. He and Abraham hit it off pretty good. Abraham liked the fact that he didnât talk much about magic and the realm. He was just an average teenage guy that loved basketball.....
JUDE- âBoedell! You ready to get your ass beat.â
ABRAHAM-Â âSure, why not....â

JUDE- âListen, Boedell...I would love to make out with you...and well--- that. I think you are really sexy, and I could really get into you. I mean like boyfriend stuff, but it wouldnât be fair to either of us. I mean you are just coming in to who you are, and understanding that you are probably gay...and then there is Ezil.
ABRAHAM-Â âWhat about him?â
JUDE- âYou are not sure about your feelings towards him, and who knows what his feelings are about you, and if he is in love with you...and you him, I donât want to get involved in all that. You two need to talk. Then after you two sort things out and you decide you are just friends, then sure, we could maybe go out on a date...and see what happens. But I couldnât do that to Ezil or you...and honestly itâs not really fair to me either.â
ABRAHAM- âOkay...thatâs fair. But just thinking about it....
JUDE-Â âStop... we are playing basket ball...remember?â
Jude laughed a little, and was really having a hard time saying no to him...it was all he could do not to take him in his arms and pull him into him and kiss him....

ABRAHAM-Â âSo you have someone supply the eggs, and then you insert them into the artificial womb, and thatâs it?â
TOM- âFor the most part yes. The most difficult part is the surgery to implant the womb to make sure all the necessary things are in order to allow the fetuses to grow properly.â
ABRAHAM-Â âSo I assume then once the fetus has developed fully then you perform like a Cesarean section.â
TOM-Â âPrecisely. We monitor the host or father pretty closely during the incubation period, as it is certainly not like a normal female pregnancy. A lot of things can go wrong, more so that a normal mother carrying her infant.
ABRAHAM-Â âSo if I had a sister or female relative that would donate their egg, then I could carry the child.Â
TOM- âYes, it works better, we have found out if the host is of the same DNA of the eggs biological mother. So yes, a sister or female relative. There is actually a set of twins that were born this way about 24 years ago, they were one of the first. Their fathers were gay and wanted children. The fathers have recently moved into the condo where Jude and I live. Their daughter is building a home here in Willow Creek. She just had a child of her own. So we know it works.â
ABRAHAM-Â âWow...well I donât have a sister, but Ezilâs sister Yoselin could donate an egg, if we wanted to have kids.â
TOM-Â âWe always want to try and harvest at least five viable eggs, we then introduce them to the fatherâs sperm, which in your case, yours and once we have successful conception then we immediately implant them in the host fatherâs womb.â
ABRAHAM-Â âAre you hearing this Ezil?â
EZIL- âYes, it sounds incredible. But I am not sure I would want to take that chance.â
TOM- âWe have a 92% success rate. I mean there can always be complications, but like I said we monitor the host father pretty closely.â
ABRAHAM-Â âI mean I really never thought about having kids of our own, but then I didnât know this option was even available. Ezil, what do you think?â
EZIL-Â âI would love to have kids, but other than the womb, a man is not really made for childbearing...what about the hormone levels, heart issues. and all that goes with carry an infant.â
TOM- âLike I said there are risks, but we monitor those things very closely. You would have a monitor on during the entire pregnancy. Your diet would be restricted, and you would be on hormone injections. Of course you would not be able to nurse once the child is born...and due to the fact that we place more than one fertilized egg within the womb, the chances of twins or multiple births are very high.â
EZIL- âIt sounds amazing. I mean have two or three at one time and be done. What does the person supplying the eggs need to do.â
TOM- âJust have them come in to the office, we run a few tests and once they are at the fertile stage we take the eggs. Of course your sperm is on ice until conception and then it take place.
ABRAHAM-Â âYou think Yosie would---
EZIL- âOh, I know she would...letâs do this. I will call her tomorrow.â

Jude and Tom came for dinner, and things were no longer awkward for Ezil, and he really liked Judeâs friend Tom. Tom Kennedy was a few years old than them, and had been married previously to his wife Chloe. They had two children and then his wife left him, saying he spent no time with them and was married to his work. Which he was. He and Jude met on a dating site and after the first date, Jude knew this was they guy for him.
TOM-Â âI would say it was Jude the pursued me. I was new to the lgbt community and being bi-sexual I wasnât sure how others were going to react when I told them I had been married and had children. But Jude kept calling me....â
JUDE-Â âAnd it paid off, right?â
TOM- âYes, it did. Jude and I have quite a bit in common, but we also both have a strong work ethic. Jude is an amazing nurse and works odd hours, which allows me to work outside the practice. I also run a clinic for couples that have problems conceiving, and for make gay couples that want to have children.â
EZIL-Â âMale fertilization?
TOM-Â âNo, not yet anyway, that is still in the future, but I have been working with a doctor from Brindleton Bay that has been helping men carry their offspring using an artificial womb.â
ABRAHAM-Â âInteresting....â

After a while, as was his custom, Ezil would stop by the park and meet Abraham and walk home together. He was surprised to see Jude there with him....
Abraham knew he was there...being Abraham and he went to greet him and assure him things were okay with Jude....
ABRAHAM-Â âLook who I ran into at the park today....
JUDE-Â âHey, Ezil...
EZIL-Â âI see....Hi Jude.â
ABRAHAM-Â âJude and I were just talking and I told him that we should invite him and his NEW boyfriend over for dinner so that we can get reacquainted, catch up and meet his boyfriend Tom....

ABRAHAM- âJude...? What are you doing here?â
JUDE- âI cam to see what was up with you, I havenât heard from you in days and every time I called you before then to go shoot some hoops you blew me off. Whatâs going on?â
ABRAHAM-Â âNothing really, just ----
JUDE-Â âSo you talked to him, didnât you and he told you not to see me anymore, right?â
ABRAHAM- âNo, Ezil never said anything like that. Itâs just that well, I have been a little busy.â
JUDE-Â âYou are blowing me off again, arenât you?â
ABRAHAM- âNo, I m not. I ave just had to try and come to terms with all of this, and I was going to call you but I just didnât know what to say. We are still friends and we can still hang out, I just need to some time.â

ABRAHAM-Â âDad said that your dad left about fifteen minutes ago. You can hang out here for a while if you want.â
JUDE-Â âNah...I should head home, Itâs not to far to walk.â
ABRAHAM-Â âI could walk home with you.â
JUDE-Â âThen you would have to walk back here by yourself...â
EZIL- So you get beat again, Abraham? Interrupting their conversation..

Things moved right along for Abraham and Ezil. They started the Boedell Academy with the assistance of Victor Goth. Abraham would teach Magic history and theory, Ezil would teach Simlish and the Art, while Victor would serve as the administrator.
Abraham continued to go to the park and shoot basketball. It was his way to release tensions. So every day after school he would shoot hoops for a while before heading home....
It had been over a year since he spoke to Jude, but one day while he was at the park.....
JUDE-Â âWow...he has really gotten pretty good....maybe I should just go...
ABRAHAM- âI know you are back there Jude, no reason to leave. Come on shoot some with me. I can beat you now, without being distracted....â
JUDE-Â âAre you sure about that??â
ABRAHAM-Â âPositive!â

ABRAHAM-Â âSo, how about you plan to come to dinner Friday night, and bring Tom.â
JUDE-Â âYou guys sure?â
EZIL- Definitely, Jude. I mean Abraham and I spend most of our time at school and then go home watch some TV and go to bed and do it all over again the next day. We really donât have any friends. It will be great to have another couple over. I mean my sister and her wife, Lily visit from time to time, but they have a kid now, and live in San Myshuno.â
ABRAHAM- âWe would love to have you guys over...and you wonât even recognize the house. We totally renovated it.â
JUDE-Â âSounds great. Tom is always saying we need to meet aother gay couple to hang out with.â
ABRAHAM- âOkay then. Itâs settled, Friday at 5:30, sound okay?â
JUDE- âYeah, and thanks guys! This will be fun. Like old times...before all that nonsense.â
EZIL- âLooking forward to it!!â

ABRAHAM- âYes, he is fine. He is really happy with his new guy, they just got a place together. Come on, make up and be open...there is no threat with Jude, trust me.â
EZIL-Â âItâs not you I donât trust.â
ABRAHAM-Â âItâs fine...â
EZIL-Â âOkay, no reason not to be friendly, I suppose.â
