Phew I managed to squeeze this out before the end of the year !!!!
I’ve never been that inspired to participate in dtiys but you know i gotta support a fellow finno-ugric artist who’s art also blows me away and is a fellow Tubbo enthusiast :D
Researching for the national dress was funky because we have distinct ones for different areas here in Finland. I managed to find my own area’s and was surprised it looks very pog!! Had to work off of a website in Swedish because there was no pictures on the Finnish site lmao
Very late congrats on the 1k @gynii mate :DD

Hi! This is a dumb question but when do you think Louis and Harry started dating??
Hi dear,
Not a dumb question at all.
I think they started dating during the xfactor. They met in mid July, and by July 23 they were already super into each other, as evidenced by Louis literally jumping into Harry's arms and wrapping his legs around him when 1D got formed.
In August they spent around 2 weeks at Robin's bungalow, and they were for sure together then and all the time after that. If they hadn't kissed/hooked up before the bungalow, then I think they were just flirting with each other, but they certainly got together by August. And the rest is history.
There are piles of receipts, timelines, tweets, videos, pictures and other events that back up this view. This is why I say they fell in love at first sight, because they really really did.
I wouldn't be shocked if someday they said they got together within the first week of knowing each other. But as it stands, I think it's safe to say they started dating/got together within a month of knowing each other.
Here's a quick rundown of how fast they got together with dates.
Here's a xfactor timeline (July, August and September).
Here's a detailed xfactor timeline (thru December).
Here's a receipt that states that Larry started dating in the xfactor (the blurred out name is Olly Murs).
Here's proof Louis got together with Harry during the xfactor. Courtesy of Hannah's (Louis' 1st gf) homophobic brother.
Here's a list of evidence about Larry getting together during xfactor.

like a dream, or a memory almost gone | m.h.
requested by @amirahiddleston Grishaverse — Matthias Helvar x Reader, fluff
tw: mentions of fire, mentions of homesickness, light spoilers for matthias’ backstory
word count: 1.8k
prompt: things you said when we first met
Summary: Matthias is lost in Ketterdam, but somehow, he finds you.
Tumblr media
Matthias wouldn't admit it, but he was lost again.
Damn this city; Ketterdam was built like a maze. Every road branched in two, and every path led to a stopped end. The canals were like sea serpents, trashing around the city with no clear purpose, eating each other's tails and spiraling into a bottlenecked center, never quite leading to the harbor. There was always another twist in the road, constantly another bridge to nowhere. It was as though the city curled in on itself and slowly tightened its grip, leaving you with no escape. Ketterdam was a city of death; once you made your way in, there was no possibility of getting out.
There wasn't even navigation by stars - the city trapped herself in with thick sheets of smog.
Matthias hated it.
Things weren't like that in Fjerda - even in Djerholm, the biggest city of them all, you could always follow the streams to the oceans and chase the stars north. The buildings weren't so close together - beating against the other, sounds mixing until there was no true source, just an everlasting din. The roads didn't coil in on themselves - twisting and turning until all you had was warped. There was always room to breathe in Fjerda, even if a lungful felt like shards of ice - even if, to keep breathing, you dealt others cards of death.
Here, Matthias couldn't breathe. He was learning the way this strange city worked - with its ever-turning streets and its arbitrary districts - but no matter how much he studied the maps, it never seemed right. Fjerda had been so different; and even as he shunned it and couldn't comprehend it, now, it curled in his heart, still - its ice lining his arteries, its chill seeping into his veins.
It turned him around, tearing at the mental map inside his brain. If Fjerda couldn't have him, Ketterdam couldn't, either. No one could have him - not while the isenulf inside him still called out with its mournful howl.
Matthias was lost in the streets again - and perhaps it would be best to just admit it - when he smelled it.
Home.
Matthias turned over his shoulder. A bakery sat on the corner.
Matthias stared at it for a moment, his perpetual frown creasing even more, something familiar but lost itching at the back of his mind. He took a step forward, he breathed in; and slowly, fragments of life danced before him - little things he had hidden in the dark recesses of his mind.
A little kitchen with a thin branch of ash tree sitting above the door, and a hot, black stove, within. Matthias - little, barely big enough to see over the tops of tables - being shooed away from its glowing warmth. A woman with blonde hair, bundled in thick, winter shawls, who would kiss his fingers and warn him they would be burned if he came too close. A baby girl, with eyes bluer than the frost-bitten morning sky, tucked in the crook of a man's strong arm. Stories about the sildroher. Songs retelling the tale of When Water Sang Fire. A woman with blonde hair braided thick, strands curling as they fell loose round full cheeks, smiling as she handed him a bun - a little bit of crisp, warm bread.
Winters were long, but his mother always found enough flour for bread.
Matthias blinked, and his family was gone, but he breathed in, and the smell of them was still there, unmarred by ash, floating out the bakery doors.
He couldn't stop himself from going inside.
The shop was small, within - it had only two glass cases and a few racks to display their goods, and along the walls, items with their prices were written in Fjerdan and Kerch, and languages Matthias didn't recognize. The walls were painted a pale cream color, and the lights were soft, somehow emulating a sunny glow. All the world seemed hushed -  like it held its breath for him.
Matthias peered at the array of baked goods and recognized Ravkan delicacies - some of Nina's favorites - next to recipes from the Wandering Isle. Beside them were cakes topped with orange and jurda, then breads from Shu Han. There were Suli cakes, and cookies Matthias recognized from Fjerdan festivals. The world was collected here, in this bakery, and while each baked good was wildly different than the last, they all sat here the same. They were all baked under the same roof, and their enticing aroma mixed and mingled, masking the smell of the salty harbor with something warmer and more immediate - sweet and strong, like a blanket around your shoulders.
Matthias was searching for his youth when you stepped out from the kitchens. He didn't notice your presence, at first - too wrapped up within memories he'd almost forgotten, too tied within little details about a life he'd once had and lost too soon - but then you placed a pan on top of the nearest case, and the sound of metal bumping against glass brought him back to the present.
His head jerked upward, and his eyes landed on you.
You were no older than him, with an apron tied around your waist, flour dusted in your hair, and in your hands, the bread Matthias was searching for - golden and crisp, baked to perfection.
"Can I help, or you just looking?" You spoke in broken Fjerdan, smiling through your errors, and it was the warmest grin Matthias had seen in all of Ketterdam. You stumbled over the words, and Matthias hadn't heard his own language in so long - it almost felt foreign on his ears. "Me jer jonink," you said. Forgive me. "My Fjerdan is... not the best."
"Neg." Matthias coughed. "No," he said again, this time in Kerch. He stuffed his hands in his pockets, biting his tongue. "Your Fjerdan is fine."
You hummed, rearranging one of the display racks. You must have done it a thousand times before because while your hands worked, your focus was on him. Matthias blinked.
"Can I have one of those?" He inclined his head toward the buns on the pan - the ones you were moving from one place to the next — his bread. His Fjerda. His life, somehow nestled inside of Ketterdam. "They remind me of..." but Matthias couldn't finish, all his past collecting in his throat, all that emotion choking his voice.
"Of course." You took the roll, wrapping it in a bit of brown paper. "I know what you mean," you mused, your voice low with commiseration. "When I first came to this shop, it was just the same. This place reminds you of home."
And Matthias wondered if maybe it shouldn't. He didn't belong to Fjerda anymore - so perhaps he didn't deserve to share what little it had to give that was truly good. How could he take its love, if he hated it, the same?
But you held out the bread to him, a soft understanding written in the lines of your face, and Matthias took it, anyway. It was smaller in his hands than he remembered, but when he cracked it open to smell the sweet inside, it was the same feeling as before - faint, in a way that felt like a dream, or a memory almost gone.
And for a moment, they were there, again - his mother and his father, his little sister and the boy he'd once been. They were sitting in their little house in Fjerda, and there were no fires burning too bright; there was just bread, and just warmth, and his father's rough voice, singing low in the darkening night.
"We bake them fresh every Wednesday." And your voice pulled Matthias out of his thoughts before they could sour. "There aren't as many Fjerdan's on this side of Ketterdam, so we make these less often, but if you come every Wednesday, we'll have a batch like this one." You tilted your head to the side, where at least a dozen more rolls sat, all flawlessly baked - with a crisp, buttered crust and a soft, sweet inside.
Matthias was close to buying another, but Kaz never allowed him to keep too much money on him - the demjin said it would do nothing but cause him trouble, and he didn't want to have to pay a Healer every time Matthias got lost in the city and ran into thieves. There was one on every corner, after all.
So Matthias just held the one he had, nodding as he passed you the copper he owed. His fingers brushed yours, briefly enough to go entirely undetected, but he noticed, and a smile tugged at his lips. He'd come back somehow; he already knew it.
"Wednesday," Matthias repeated.
You smiled.  "Until then."
Matthias took a step backward but didn't move further. For a moment, he just held your gaze. Then his brow furrowed.
"What street is this?"
You laughed, and your smile caught the light, framing you in a soft but perpetual glow.
"I got lost this morning," Matthias explained, as the warmth in your chest subsided.
"If I give you the name, you'll never find us again. No one in Ketterdam uses the names of side streets, really. But we're on the easternmost side of East Stave. Find The Emerald Palace, go east for two streets, then take two rights, a left, go over the bridge, and you'll end up here."
Matthias blinked. You chuckled again, shaking your head from side to side. "Here." you patted your apron until you found a pen, then wrote the directions on a spare napkin, your handwriting a messy scrawl that Matthias would study over for weeks to come. You passed him the napkin with a grin. "Don't lose this, or else you'll never find the shop again."
"I think I will," Matthias said, but he tucked it in the pocket of his jacket, anyway. "Thank you."
"Anytime."
Matthias turned to leave, once again, but before he got far, he returned. You were still fiddling with the display rack, your eyes on him. He rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand. "Do you know how to get to The Slat?"
You smiled, the flutter of a scoff leaving your lips. Your eyes flicked to the clock on the wall, and after a moment of deliberation, you untied your apron, hanging it on a nail in the wall. You snagged two rolls from the rack and walked over to Matthias. "I'll walk you back."
Matthias got the door, and together you walked through the streets of Ketterdam, little bits of Fjerda in your hand, taking pieces of the bread and savoring its flavor on your tongues.

“I’ll brew us some tea,” Obi Wan rasps, insistent—tell me, will you let me try?— trembling fingers moving to brush the back of Cody’s head, fingertips ghosting across the unruly strands of his hair, barely touching. A shiver runs down his spine anyway, and he forgets his reservations, he wants.
“And maybe after we can talk, and then you can...if you want,” his voice cracks, “you can go, you can go...”
ANYWAY i’m sobbing today and it’s all the fault of I Know Your Name As My Heart (Ni Kar’tayl Gai Sa Ner Kar’ta) by Felucia...  who im not sure is on tumblr but if you are, hold my hand. im going In Sane. like 1st of all, i’ve been thinking about this fic for way too long, second of all, hhH if you ever read pining. hell if you ever read codywan. i’m begging you to read this fic. it (and the many times ive reread it) lives rent-free in my head. this is barely fic fanart, this is a fic rec. i am on my knees. i am pleading with you to read this fic. it’s glorious. it’s painful. it’s delightful. i’m crying my last tears
