Really really been missing my Modding Genesis days. And I still don't know what happened. One day it was just all gone.

Sometimes the usernames of people I used to talk to come back to haunt me. I wonder how they're doing. I wonder what happened to the larger modding projects.

I remember hearing that someone had cracked the code to editing meshes, if not even found the holy grail of how to import models into JPOG. But I never got to see it.

I have a long history with that game and the sudden death of the forums just haunts me with endless wondering what I missed out on during its last year or so.

You ever think about how many niche Internet communities have entire histories lost? And like, they aren't even tiny by any means sometimes.

Hallucinations A dinosaur vaguely based on Ornitholestes, but with a hallucinogenic venom. Only one of them is real. And also some poor guy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Hope he makes it. "Temporal" is a setting where some time travel experiment goes wrong and now prehistoric animals are everywhere. Time portals are also potent EMPs, so all electricity-dependent stuff is now broken.

Eoraptor yawning if you look close you can see the paletal teeth. Kulindadromeus inspired by a Mangshan pit viper. Parksosaurus corting inspired by an old JPOG mod (anyone remembers that mod and its names that be great) Megamonodontium looking out from its den.

What are some genuinely good dinosaur roleplaying games?

I got The Isle for my birthday a few years ago and could never figure out how to even play. And then I heard people saying how terrible it is?

I've heard of Saurian and Path of Titans. Any of those good?

Preferrably I'd like to play something that isn't early access. After Second Extinction's terminal shutdown I am way too wary of putting my money into games that might become eternally unplayable down the road. (But that was a shooter, not a play-as-a-dino)

This old JPOG player wants some fresh dinosaur meat, but quality.
