Rethink. Revalue. Refresh. To update intelligence. To end fear. A new threshold of consciousness through creative thinking and artistry to let inspiration and awareness flow. Trusting that empathy is a sense to understand life. Common sense is an answer to questions nobody asks, and needs are encrypted optimism. Deep black drawings, paintings, photographs and words bridge the physical and digital worlds. With no ambitions to seduce perception. Opening a dialogue with any intelligence. To free the mind. To stay in touch and shape the coming moment.

The Daily Thistle – News From Scotland
Saturday 9th September 2017
"Madainn Mhath” …Fellow Scot, I hope the day brings joy to you…. Taking Bella for a walk is always a pleasure, but this morning even more so, as the terrific heat and humidity of the past few weeks has moderated a little and added to that a cool breeze is blowing from the west and that means a temperature in the high teens ... so together we wander the streets and lanes of Estepona, an old man and his dog enjoying each other’s company and looking forward to Coffee when he gets home...
TOY SHIP SAILS FROM SCOTLAND TO SCANDINAVIA…. A toy pirate ship launched by two young brothers in Aberdeenshire has sailed the high seas to Scandinavia. Ollie Ferguson, eight, and Harry, five, from Turriff, first launched their Playmobil ship from Peterhead at the end of May. It sailed hundreds of miles to Denmark, where a family sent it on its way. It then made it to Sweden and Norway. The boys launched the pirate ship as part of a bucket list of adventures they have put together. The ship, named Adventure, needed some adaptations before it was ready to tackle the North Sea. A counterweight was added to help it stay upright and it was filled it with polystyrene to help it stay afloat. After trials in a swimming pool, they took it to the coast and launched it into the waves. It carries a message asking anyone who finds the boat to launch Adventure back into the sea. Their father, MacNeill Ferguson, said: "Everyone that has picked it up has been really kind and sent us photos and looked after it. "People are really getting into the spirit of it. "The boys have enjoyed it and every time we get a message telling us where it has landed we get on the computer and work out where it went, so they are tracking its progress on the map and it gives them an understanding of how big the world is."
NON-NATIVE SALMON EGGS 'HATCH' IN SCOTTISH RIVER…. Eggs laid by non-native Pacific pink salmon in a Scottish river appear to have hatched, a fishery board monitoring the fish has said. The salmon, also known as humpbacks, were observed spawning in the River Ness near Inverness earlier this year. Ness District Salmon Fishery Board said eggs it had collected show evidence of having been fertilised. It said "a number of empty shells" have also been recovered, suggesting some have hatched. The fishery board is collecting eggs using equipment provided by Marine Scotland Science. The eggs will be kept in special chambers to monitor for their survival rate. Pink salmon are native to Pacific Ocean waters. The fish are believed to be related to pink salmon introduced to rivers in Russia in the mid-1950s. These fish have since gone on to be found in rivers in Scandinavian countries, including Norway. Salmon and Trout Conservation UK and Prof Eric Verspoor, director of the Rivers and Lochs Institute at Inverness College UHI, have warned of the potential risk to native salmon. Threats include competition for food.
DRUGS GANG HID HEROIN IN DOG TREATS AND WASHING POWDER.. HAD POLICE BARKING UP THE WRONG TREE….. Four men who hid heroin in boxes of dog biscuits and washing powder have been jailed. The gang, who used military encrypted phones, were caught with 2.5kg (5.5lbs) of drugs with an estimated value of £275,000, Manchester Crown Court heard. Mohammed Jabbar, 28, Mohammed Rafique, 40, and Jonathan Clorley, 25, all of Greater Manchester and Jeremy Curran, of Glasgow, all admitted drug offences. In phone messages, Jabbar boasted about having £150,000 worth of drugs. Jabbar of Howgill Crescent, Oldham was sentenced to 15 years, Rafique of Spender Avenue, Cheetham Hill was given 14-and-a-half years, Curran got 12 years while Clorley, of Padfield Avenue, Oldham, were sentenced to seven years. Greater Manchester Police said Rafique and Jabbar, who were under surveillance, were seen supplying a man in the Cheetham Hill area of Manchester with 250g (8oz) of cocaine, in July 2016. Police then found the pair with heroin in two boxes of dog treats and a box of washing powder when they stopped them and Clorley, as they drove to Glasgow on 17 August 2016. During their investigations, detectives found the drugs gang had been communicating using military encrypted mobile phones. Their exchanges also revealed Jabbar told a Middle East associate he had supplied heroin to Curran. Insp Lee Griffin, from Greater Manchester Police, said: "After concealing a large amount of potent and dangerous drugs in household items, I can only imagine the tragedy that could have occurred if these boxes had fallen into the wrong hands. "Although these men went to great lengths to cover up their illicit dealings, it was their own arrogance which led to the downfall of their carefully laid plans."
MEN STOLE CAR WHILE IMPERSONATING POLICE OFFICERS…. Two men who admitted stealing a £50,000 BMW while impersonating police officers have been jailed. David Gordon, 20, and Brian Murdoch, 21, used stolen police uniforms to dupe the owner into thinking they were officers helping him trace his phone. Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that they stole Syed Ahmed's car when he went into his house for paperwork. The men also admitted other charges, including threatening a couple with a knife before stealing their car. The thieves contacted 42-year-old Mr Ahmed after he advertised the sale of his silver BMW on Gumtree. But, he lost his mobile phone in a taxi and arranged to meet the driver at the mosque later that day. Gordon and Murdoch contacted the phone number to arrange a viewing and on 17 May went to the mosque. Ms Aitken said: "While Gordon and the witnesses walked towards the car, Murdoch appeared from the street and pointed a knife towards the witnesses stating 'give me the keys, give me the keys now'." Both men made off in the car. Gordon and Murdoch admitted assaulting the couple, presenting a knife at them and robbing them of their car. Gordon pled guilty to other charges including stealing a car in Blair Street, Glasgow, in March, and driving without insurance and while disqualified. He also admitted the reset of a car and police uniforms on 5 April. Sheriff Daniel Scullion said: "No disposal other than a significant custodial one is appropriate." He ordered Gordon - who was on licence at the time - to return to Polmont Young Offenders' Institution for a year before serving two years, seven months for these crimes. He jailed Murdoch for three years and two months. Both men will be supervised for a year after their release. Murdoch's lawyer Amy Spencer told the court that the men previously met while serving a sentence in Polmont. She added: "Both had very similar interests and unfortunately the combination of the pair turned out to be very bad." Defence lawyer Ian Sievwright, for Gordon, said he was "addicted" to stealing and driving cars.
PLANE PARKING CHEAPER THAN DROP-OFF ZONE AT EDINBURGH AIRPORT…. It costs more to stop a car in the drop-off zone at Edinburgh Airport than it does to park a jet on the airfield. Airport officials have confirmed it costs £4.95 to park an Airbus A320 on the tarmac for 15 minutes. Stopping a car for the same amount of time in the airport's drop-off zone costs £5. Edinburgh Airport said the two were incomparable. A spokesman said the drop-off zone was not a car park and charges helped keep traffic flowing. Neil Greig, Director of Policy and Research at IAM RoadSmart Scotland, said: "Our views have always been that airports live by people arriving by car. "The charges are unfair because even with the trams there's no other real alternative. "You've no choice but to pay these exorbitant fees. "There's just not the public transport for families to travel to the airport with their luggage. So they've got a captive market." A spokesman for Edinburgh Airport said: "This is not a like-for-like comparison and the suggestion is extremely misleading. "The drop-off area is not a car park and charges promote the flow of vehicles in a space restricted area, with 98% passing through in under five minutes and 99.5% passing through in under 10 minutes. "Aircraft do not simply drop-off passengers - they are often based at the airport and perform several rotations every day, typically serving more than 300 people per rotation. "Aircraft are also charged to land and for every passenger facilitated."
