Lo más seguro es que nunca supiste (ni sabrás) lo mucho que me gustabas. Que te veía entonces y ahora veo tus fotos y me pareces precioso como desde la primera vez que te vi. Me hubiera gustado haberte adorado más. Pero escribo todo esto para agradecerte, pues me enseñaste involuntariamente a que esa preciosa superficie no lo es todo. La tibieza, la indiferencia y la conformidad llevan rápidamente al hartazgo, quedarnos en donde prolifera eso sólo hubiera traído miseria, estuvo bien haber terminado antes de que todo eso empezara. Me hubiera gustado que te hubieras sentido más querido por mí, que te hubieras dado cuenta que en verdad me gustabas, creo que no podías recibir eso que yo te daba. Agad-agad nagulat ang mga kasugalan nila Jonathan na si Roberto at Christine na biglang lungkot na ni Jonathan at onti onti nawalan gana sa pagsusugal ito. Pinuntahan nila Roberto ang bahay nila Jonathan upang makita ano ang problema. Banggit ni Jonathan na pinagsisihan nya ang mga pera na pinangsuggal niya. Kung hindi siya nagsugal makakauwi agad ang kanyang asawa kaso patay na ngayon. Agad-agad naghanap ng trabaho si Jonathan na maayos na trabaho upang mapagaral ang mga anak niya at tumigil na din ito sa pagsusugal. Ang aral ng kuwentong ito na wag na wag sayangin ang pera sa pagsusugal at gastusin ng tama ang pera ninyo. Aral din rito ay dapat mahalin niyo mga mahal niyo sa buhay dahil hindi sila nandyan habang buhay at mawawala rin sila balang araw.
