Can I request a fluffy Joe Mazzello x fem. reader long fic where itâs Christmas Eve and they are sitting by the Christmas tree and Joe surprises reader with a present and when reader opens it, itâs a velvet box and Joe takes it from reader and goes into a speech about how much he loves her and that when he first laid eyes on reader in college, it was love at first sight and he gets down on one knee and asks reader to marry him?
Awww, that's cute!
Again, I don't do requests for longshots but I can do a blurb!
"Oh, look! Snow!" you cried, running to the window. You felt the chill already from the window.
White flurries by now were falling down so heavily, that it blanketed everywhere. It was so beautiful- and with the fireplace on and the Christmas tree twinkling with lights and decorations, it was quite a perfect Christmas Eve. In the back, the Nutcracker pas de deux between the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier Prince was playing.
"I think having you be me would make it better..." Joe suggested.
You turned around and saw him with a cheeky smile. You then went over and sat down next to him, letting him cuddle you.
"How are you? Was your Christmas Eve busy? I had to do some last-minute shopping..." you said.
"I'm...I'm good...great..." Joe answered.
You looked at him and saw that his ears were bright pink. Normally, he was talkative and confident, but he seemed a little quiet today.
"What's up? Something happened with your mom?" you asked.
"No! She's okay!"
"An audition went badly!?"
"No, not at all! I...it's just I...uh, have a gift for you and it can't wait for tomorrow," he announced.
"Oh! Okay- which one is it?" you questioned, looking after the presents you just finished wrapping up.
He cleared his throat and you returned your head. He had a box that was square and small, wrapped in red and white striped paper.
"Alright, great!" you said cheerfully.
Once you undid the paper and broke open the cardboard box you saw inside was...a small velvet box.
The breath was knocked out of you and your heart picked up.
"Joe, uhm, is...is..."
His eyes, shiny and sincere, looked up at you.
"Y/N, I...I've known you for a while and we have dated for a while and I..I think I have loved you from the moment I met you. I can be myself around you. It was a small love, but a part of me wondered, just wondered...wondered if I met the person who should be my person. I just had to be sure...so I spent time with you. And that little love it grew and grew. I see stars in your eyes, Y/N, and a smile that gives me life. Crap, I'm getting so sappy! I..."
He rubbed the back of his head.
"I don't even talk like this!"
"It's okay, Joe!" you said with a slight laugh. But your eyes were starting to well up.
"But I love you, Y/N and I want you to be happy. I would love it if I could make you happy for the rest of your life, so Y/N..."
Your head spun as he got on one knee. The music surged to it's most romantic.
"Will you marry m-"
It was cut off as you leaned down and planted a large kiss on his lips in answer.
There was a sudden buzz from his phone. It was from Ben.
"Have you proposed to her yet, Mate? Update me!"
Both of you smiled at it. You opened the box and propped the shiny diamond ring on your finger.
"Let's take a picture as an answer!" you suggested.

It had been another long day at work. And of course, to add to your pain, the traffic to get back home was absolutely horrible. Sure, there was no need to be upset at anyone, the roads needed a refreshment and the workers did the best they could. Yet, it was in these cases that you considered more and more the option to work from home. After all, there was a special space at home that you had been working from during the pandemic, there was no reason not to use this home office more often.
And it would give you more time to spend with your family.
Yes, it was a small family, with Joe, you, your daughter and the dogs. But you couldnât be prouder. This was what many people could dream of.
You eventually reached our street and hastily parked in front of your house. You grabbed your belongings and quietly opened the door. It was quite late, you noticed as you glanced at your watch, you did not want to take the risk of awakening your daughter if she was already sleeping.
Your dogs welcomed you, with their tails swinging, almost leading to a silly samba like butt dance. You leaned forwards to pet them properly and they seemed happy to see you back home.
âWhere is daddy?â, you gently asked them, petting their heads.
They both looked at the stairs, letting you know Joe was probably upstairs.
âThanks.â, you said, winking at them.
You quietly went upstairs, and you started to hear Joeâs voice coming from your daughterâs bedroom. You took your shoes off, leaving them in the middle of the corridor, to make sure you would walk very silently towards the bedroom.
Joe was making sure to properly tuck your daughter under her covers. You sweetly smiled as you recalled how Joe had made sure to convince her to get a set of bed linens with dinosaurs on them. As a result, she was sleeping amongst pterodactyls and other stegosauruses.
âSo, are you ready for the story?â, Joe asked as he sat on the edge of the bed.
You didnât hear your daughter answer so you came closer, leaning on the door frame, making sure youâd witness this precious moment. You saw your kid frankly nod.
âSo, this is a special story today. An old friend of mine said it to me a long time ago, I hope I can recall it properly.â, your husband pretended he was trying to recall the story.
You saw your daughter get deeper in her pillow, very attentive to the beginning of the tale.
âOnce upon a time, there was a young fisherman. One day he accidentally caught a mermaid in his net.
Legends say if you catch a mermaid, she must grant a wish if you let her goâŚ. What do you think, did he let her go?â, Joe asked your daughter.
âOh, if he wanted a wish, he surely did.â, she replied with a firm nod.
âCorrectâŚ.â, Joe carried on. âAnd the fisherman was really quick to make one:
âI wish the girl I like would love me forever,â he said.â, the father carried on his story, making sure he was changing his voice to pretend the fisherman was talking.
âAnd the mermaid asked: âWhy do you like her?â, her tail slightly swinging in the blue sea.â, the father carried on his story, this time, taking a more feminine voice, making your daughter smile.
âThe fisherman replied: âBecause she is the prettiest girl in the land.â as he was staring at the mermaid with pride.â, Joe stated with a very manly voice.
âThe mermaid thought for a while and handed the boy a magical ring.
âGive this ring to the girl you want to spend the rest of your life with,â she said, âbut you must wait one full year from today before it will work.â, the mermaid warned.â, Joe narrated.
Your daughter was frowning, very attentive to the story.
âThe man took the ring, and on his way home, he passed a homeless young woman.
âPlease, sir,â she said, âCan you spare something to eat? I will work for you in return.â, the homeless woman said.â, Joe introduced his new protagonist with a new voice as well.
âThe fisherman didnât have much, but he agreed to share his food with her if she helped him put away his nets. They shared his food, and the woman left while the man crawled into bed and dreamed of his love.
Every day for a month, the young woman would help him with the nets, and he would share his food. Then one day, she was not there. The fisherman was worried, went to look for her, and found her asleep in his fishing shed.â, your husband carried on his narration very seriously.
Your daughter seemed saddened by the turn of the story, and you had to admit you were wondering where this story would lead.
âThe fisherman was ashamed that he never thought about where the young woman would sleep. He woke her up, let her sleep by his fire, and then added a room to his home for her.
âYou can sleep here for the next 11 months,â he told her. âBut then my wife will move in, and you will have to leave.â, he warned her.â, Joe carried on with his fishermanâs voice.
Again, you noticed your daughter was frowning, her little hands grabbing the edge of the covers that were covering her.
âYet, the next day, the young woman was not waiting to help with his nets, and the fisherman was angry.
âI gave her food and a room,â he said, âand this is how she repays me?â, the man said furiously.â, Joe stated with an angry voice.
âThe fisherman dropped the nets and burst angrily through his front door.
The man couldnât believe his eyes. His little home had never been so clean. His bed was washed and made, there was a pile of chopped wood by the fire, and a pot of stew waited for him on the fire. It was as if a fairy had done it all in a twinkling of an eye.â
âWhat happened next?â, your daughter asked vividly.
âWell, the man felt very ashamed. The young woman had worked hard all day and made his home more lovely than he ever had. Of course, he soothed and even if she hadnât seen his fury, he apologized to her all the same.
They ate together, and the young woman left for her room while the boy crawled into his clean bed and dreamed of his love.â, Joe said, with a little sigh in his voice.
âAs the months passed, the man would ask the young woman to stay and talk before they both went to sleep in their rooms. They shared stories of their families, and the fisherman spoke every night of his love.â, Joe carried on.â
âAnd then one morning, the fisherman awoke to find the young woman waiting by the door with her things under her arm.â, your husband nodded.
 âOh, no?!!â, your daughter replied.
âSo, the fisherman asked, âWhat are you doing?â, as the young woman was standing by the door.
âIt is time for you to marry your love,â she said, âSo I must go.â, she sighed.â, Joe stated with his feminine voice.
âNooooooâŚ.â, your daughter whispered, saying no with her face.â
âThe man hadnât realized a full year had passed. He grabbed the ring and ran to the village to find his love. When he found her, he saw that she looked exactly the same, but he no longer felt the same way.â, Joe sweetly smiled.
âDid he love the young woman?â, your kid vividly asked.
âWell, all I know is he ran back to his home and chased after her. And he soon found her.â
You saw your daughter suddenly tense, making you smile as you were still witnessing the scene by the door.
âThe fisherman stood before the young woman, but she spoke first: âDid you find your love?â she asked.â, Joe questioned in his feminine voice.
âAnd the fisherman replied. âYes and noâŚ.I found an ordinary girl in the village, but now that I am with you, I know I have found my love.â, he confessed.â, Joe smiled.
âHe was in love with her !!â, your daughter said with a wide smile.
âCorrect. And she was also in love with him. And so, he gave he his ring, and they spent the rest of their lives togetherâŚ. The end.â, Joe announced with a very gentle voice.
âMommy, do you think Iâll meet a mermaid as well one day?â, your daughter suddenly asked you.
Joe turned to see you, his cheeks reddening very quickly. You smiled and stepped inside.
âWell, Iâm sure you will. But probably not tonight. Dad told you a lovely story and itâs now time to sleep?â, you replied with a smile.
Joe leant to kiss your daughter on her forehead and you came closer to kiss her as well.
âGoodnight, sweetheart.â, you said, with a faint smile on your lips.
âAnd sweet dreams.â, Joe added as he turned off the light and closed the door.
You walked down the stairs and you collapsed on the sofa after this long day. The dogs were quietly sleeping on their beds. Joe brought snacks for the two of you and you couldnât be more thankful.
âThat was an interesting story you had thereâŚ.â, you said with a sweet smile in between sipping your drink.
âWell, when youâre a dad, you must know a few stories. But nothing will make me give my source away. Never. Ever.â, he affirmed.
âThis one was from Travis, right?,â you smiled.
âDamnit.â, Joe pretended to be upset.
You laughed but came closer to put a soft kiss on his lips.
âYes, itâs easy to kiss me to calm me downâŚ.â, he joked. âDo you fancy a movie tonight, before going to bed? I donât have a nice story for you Iâm afraid.â, he carried on, more seriously.
âA movie will do. And since youâve been treating me like a goddess, of course, you choose what you fancy.â, you said.
âOh, nice. I actually had something in mindâŚ. Let me put the DVD. Iâm sure youâll like it.â
âJoe, I love you. And I love your tastes regarding many things. Donât you worry.â, you caressed his thigh as he came close to you to cuddle in front of the TV.
You frowned as you didnât recognize the introduction and soon tears began to appear in your eyes. You turned to Joe to kiss him once again.
âOh, my gosh Joe. What is this?â, you asked.
âI asked a friend to make a better video from our wedding day. You know, a better edition, better sound and all. This way, we can enjoy whenever we want.â, he smiled at you.
You didnât know what to do. Look at your husband or look at the screen as you were seeing your younger self dancing with your young husband.
âOh, Joe, I love you so so much.â, you melted in his arms.
âAnd I love you more.â, he replied, kissing your head.
The two of you almost merged one onto the other and you spent the rest of the evening watching the DVD, pausing it to recall precious moments from this special day.
Yes, the day had been long and tiring. But you knew it was all fine because in the end, youâd get to be with your family and nothing could bring you more happiness. This was what your dreams were made of.Â

happy moments in a happy life
Pairing: Joe Mazzello x Fem!Reader
Word Count: 4.8k
Warnings: Nothing, pure fluff!
Summary: Spending your daughter Oliveâs first birthday in the amusement park, you reminisce about the day you fell in love with Joe.
Authorâs Note: Requested by @borhapgirlforlife19â ! Sorry it took me ages to finish this but I hope the fic itself will make up for the long wait :)
the gif is mine
âHi Olive! Hi!â you exclaim with a wide smile and wave your hand frantically to catch the attention of your daughter. Sheâs sitting right next to Joe, his arm wrapped around her small body while his other hand is placed on her stomach to make sure sheâs not gonna fall out of the mini train ride. After seemingly loitering in the line for quite some time, Joe finally managed to seize the seats in the small colourful locomotive, which of course are the best since thereâs a button to sound the train horn. He insisted that his most beloved birthday girl deserved only the best.
Although truth be told, sheâs celebrating her first birthday today and youâre pretty sure she canât even comprehend the difference between the locomotive and the other carriages. Joe on the other hand? Oh, heâs having a blast for sure!
âLook sweetie, thatâs Mum!â Joe points his finger at you and Olive looks up at him before she gingerly follows his gaze and finally her eyes find you with your phone in your hand. She gives you the most brilliant almost-toothless grin and you beam right back at her, promptly tapping the button on your phone to take as many pictures as you possibly can to capture this wonderful moment.
Your cheeks hurt from all the smiling but you canât help yourself. Every single day your little family have been proving to you that even though it always seems like itâs not humanly possible to love them more, the love you feel for them wonât stop before anything and it keeps multiplying exponentially. The realisation warms your heart and the power of this moment is so strong for you to feel happy tears welling in your eyes. You lay your palm on your chest as if the emotions were to burst out of you if given the chance.
Before the train circles back to where youâre standing, you have just enough time to clear your throat and rummage through your handbag, finding a tissue to wipe away the tears.
Just as the mini train passes you again, Joeâs eyes meet yours and he smirks as he presses the button twice to honk the horn. He suggestively waggles his eyebrows and shoots you a wink, his eyes sparkling with mischief. Rolling your eyes, you huff out a laugh and shake your head, not quite capable to wipe that bright smile from your face. As a payback, you cross your eyes and poke out your tongue at him. Your silly expression makes Olive giggle even harder and it takes Joe great effort to keep her upright. His hands full of your squirming daughter, thereâs not much left for him to do but blow you a raspberry in return as the train leaves you behind to make another round.
You get your phone ready again, this time swiping left to change the mode to video, unable to resist the urge to film your daughter for an umpteenth time. God, youâve really become the parent that just has to capture every moment of your child, havenât you. But who could blame you, sheâs the sweetest little girl and anytime you feel down, you just scroll through your camera roll and that adorable smile cheers you up within seconds.
While they were out of your sight, Joe hoisted Olive up on his lap so that she could reach the bright yellow plastic wheel screwed to the simple control desk. His hands are over hers and he turns the wheel right and left, making train noises with his mouth. The course of the train does not naturally change based on their driving but Olive doesnât seem to mind, giggling with excitement.
The vision in front of you takes you back to your college days, a very special one in particular.
The day you fell in love at first sight with Joe Mazzello.
It was a relatively cold day for the beginning of September. The trees were yet to get a chance to tint their leaves in yellow hues, but dark clouds and cold wind were making themselves known, announcing the approaching winter as small droplets splattered on the beige of your coat and the gust of cool air seeped through your clothes.
You lifted the lapels to protect yourself from the chill and shouldered your bag, precariously balancing in your arms the stack of books that youâd just borrowed from the college library as you made haste for the lecture hall.
The term had only started, but you were already drowning in heavy textbooks and lengthy papers, the tutors making sure their students were not loafing around. When you finally reached the lecture hall and found a seat close to the door, you dropped the books down on the desk with a loud bang, causing a few students to turn their heads after the sound. At that moment, the professor stood up and cleared her throat to announce the beginning of her lecture, and so you just mouthed a quick âsorryâ and plopped down on a chair. As quietly as possible, you took off your coat and pulled out your laptop to take notes. There was not much space on the desk in front of you and so you placed a few of the textbooks down on the seat next to you.
After a few minutes of your fingers flying across the keyboard as you tried to keep up with the merciless speed of the presentation, the door to the lecture hall was thrown open and someone stormed in. The professor cut herself short, the unfinished word hanging in the air as everyone craned their neck to see the source of the sudden disturbance.
A soft gasp escaped your mouth when your gaze landed on the newcomer. He was a very handsome man, with messy auburn hair, a sharp, prominent nose and beautiful kind eyes that glimmered in the white light of the lecture hall. A rosy blush spread across his cheeks and the tip of his nose as he tried to catch his breath.
You let your gaze drop down and inspected his clothes. Clad in black jeans and a coat, he appeared to favour simplicity with regards to fashion as the only traces of colour were the threads of red and blue weaved through his chequered scarf that was wrapped around his neck.
A small movement caught your attention when his grip around the handle of his backpack tightened. Shifting his weight, he chuckled nervously under the stare of several hundred students directed his way and the flush in his face turned a shade darker. Â
âSorry, couldnât find a parking spot,â the man grinned as he rubbed the back of his neck, his forehead knitting while he stood there, unsure of how to cope with all the unexpected attention.
Your eyes flicked to the lectern behind which the professor stood with a clenched jaw and gritted teeth as she looked daggers at the guy, her mouth forming into a thin line. With a quick tilt of her head, she gestured for him to take a seat and stop disturbing her lecture. Â
âYeah, Iâll just, erm,â he trailed off as he scanned the room to find a vacant spot before his eyes finally met yours.
The time stopped. You werenât breathing. He slowly blinked in a daze, unable to move or tear his gaze away from you.
You felt butterflies fluttering their wings in your stomach. You had always imagined this sensation to be uncomfortable and rather awkward, but the truth couldnât be farther from your expectations. Admittedly, it was an odd feeling, yes, but it also was a surprisingly pleasant one, reverberating through your veins and spreading warmth throughout your body.
His lips curled upwards in a wide beaming smile and another warm wave washed over you.
The professorâs withering look intensified but you paid her no mind. His gaze still locked with yours, you felt an invisible force pulling at the corners of your mouth to give him a matching smile as you grinned from ear to ear.
The professor cleared her throat, making you jump in your seat. The handsome guy sucked in a breath and bit on his lower lip, breaking the eye contact as he sheepishly shifted his attention to the podium.
âSorry, again. Iâll just go and take a seat.â He pointed his finger in your direction and gave the professor a solemn nod before scurrying towards you. You made haste to grab the textbooks that lay on the chair next to you to free the space as the other students shifted in their seats to focus on the lecture again, the old wood cracking and shoes squeaking against the linoleum.
He was at your side within seconds, bending down to help you bring the books to the floor. His fingers brushed over yours as you both reached for the same textbook and that now-familiar warmth settled in your fingertips. You couldnât help but glance up at him, and your eyes locked again for a brief moment. Reluctantly, he pulled his hand away and grabbed the remaining books, neatly placing them at your feet before he took a seat next to you.
As you gathered a few of your belongings to empty his part of the desk, you realised one thing. The lecture hall had been built to hold as many people as possible and so all the seats were quite narrow, which caused you to feel the hard warmth of his body pressed against your arm and thigh. Truth be told, it was rather distracting, and you found yourself deleting a line of notes every time your mind wandered off as your unsupervised fingers started typing not only errors but occasionally absolute nonsense.
It seemed the proximity may have had a similar effect on him as every now and then his hands halted in their movement, hovering above the keyboard before he recovered from his frozen state and quickly typed a simple âTBAâ, pressing the enter key and starting a new paragraph.
Once the lecture came to an end and everyone began to gather their things, you breathed out a relieved sigh, closed your laptop and turned to face the guy next to you. You meant to introduce yourself, maybe ask him if he would care to grab a coffee with you but before you could get a chance to open your mouth, someone else jogged up the stairs of the auditorium to greet the man next to you.
âDude, what the hell was that?â the guy hollered and his barked-out laughter resonated against the walls as a few more students followed in his tail.
Your face dropped. With no intention of intruding upon the nice man, especially with his friends around, you gathered your things and meandered your way through the lecture hall, ignoring the agitated emptiness in the pit of your stomach.
At the door, you allowed yourself a glance at their group and your heart skipped a beat when you noticed him watching you. He gave you a small wave and an apologetic smile before he shifted his focus back to his friends as they discussed their plans for the weekend.
You bumped into a few friends of yours in the hallway and chatted with them for a while, promising to send them some of your notes until it was time for you to leave the campus and head home as well. Maybe you could make a detour to a local coffee shop. Even though it would be nicer to have company, who were you to deny yourself a hot cup of cappuccino.
Arms full of the many books youâd been carrying around the whole day, you pushed at the massive front door with your shoulder to exit the building, but you froze in your tracks as the weather put a damper on your plans.
You frowned at the dark grey clouds from which an absolute downpour was loudly beating against the concrete stairs leading to the lecture hall.
âWant me to give you a ride?â a voice said right next to your ear, and you turned on your heel, your breath hitching in your throat as you faced the man from earlier, the man you couldnât stop thinking about.
âIsnât your car too far?â you asked instead of providing an answer.
âNo, itâs right behind the corner. I had to make a few rounds around the campus before I noticed Professor Giles reversing from his spot. Parallel parking is not his strongest suit, Iâll tell you that,â he laughed and tossed his head to prevent hair from falling in his eyes. âIâm Joe by the way,â he said and offered his hand.
â(Y/N),â you replied and wrapped your fingers around his, gently squeezing as a small smile started playing on your lips when his thumb caressed your inner wrist. âAnd thank you for the offer! But still, the rainâs really heavy and I donât have an umbrella with me so I guess Iâll just wait it out.â
âWe could share my scarf,â he suggested and promptly slid it down from around his neck. âUse it as a cover, you know.â
âIâŚâ You got interrupted by one of your books slipping from the pile in your arms and you kicked your leg up, catching it before it could crash down on the floor. His palm landed on your elbow to keep you upright until you restored your balance and gripped the books in your arm more tightly, resting them against your hip.
âYou know, I could carry these for you.â
âThanks, but Iâm alright,â you replied and gave him an earnest smile.
âLetâs make a deal. You lend me half of your books, and Iâll offer half of my scarf, what do you say?â
âThatâs hardly a bargain for you,â you chuckled and looked away to hide the grin creeping across your face. Instead, you turned to the downpour outside and stretched out your arm, catching big raindrops into your open palm.
âGetting to press myself to this beautiful girl while we run side by side to my car so that I can give her a lift and maybe ask for her phone number, that is if I muster the courage? I see no drawbacks in the deal for me.â He revealed his teeth in another sweet smile and gave you a wink.
You let out a laugh as you shook your head in disbelief, and with a flick of your fingers, you sprinkled the water youâd just collected in your hand at him to punish him for his straightforwardness. Â
It was Joeâs turn to give you a slightly exasperated look as you giggled at his expression, and he rolled his eyes, the smile on his face not wavering.
âCome on.â He motioned for you to accept one corner of his scarf and while you were distracted by positioning the piece of warm fuzzy fabric above your head, he took a hold of the books in your arms, his firm glare not allowing any arguments.
âDonât worry, Iâll give them back.â
He unzipped his backpack and pushed the books inside before you could utter any protests.
Although you hated to admit it, the scarf was not big enough and you had to huddle up close to fit underneath, just like he mentioned earlier. Maybe the idea of such proximity had not left him flustered, but it sure did make your breath hitch at the thought.
Hesitantly, you snaked your arm around his waist and after a beat of silence, he mirrored the movement, his palm gently pressed against your side.
âOn three, okay?â you instructed and took a deep breath. âOne. Two.â
âThree!â you both exclaimed in unison and darted down the stairs.
Oh my god was the rain bloody cold!
No matter how fast you ran, the harsh chilly raindrops were biting at your skin, quickly making it numb as your teeth chattered. And no, the scarf did very little to protect you from the downpour, getting soaked in the first few seconds. Adrenalin was pumping in your veins and the buzz you felt spreading all over your body had made you almost hysterical as you couldnât help but laugh and squeal every time you accidentally stepped into a puddle, splashing water around you.
Moreover, the situation seemed to have the same effect on Joe, his grip on your lower back tight while he laughed at your side. There was this indescribable feeling of urgency and freedom and a rush of hot blood that left you feeling slightly dizzy and out of breath.
When you finally reached his car and jumped inside, you were absolutely drenched, raindrops trickling from your hair and occasional giggles escaping your mouths at the absurdity of it all.
Joe fumbled with the keys for a short while before he started the engine and consequently turned on the heating, pleasant warmth spreading across your damp skin as he hovered his hands above the fans. Â
âIt should warm us up in a minute,â he commented and gave you a bright smile.
âThanks,â you answered and mirrored his expression, the wave of warmth reaching your heart as well. Â
âSo, where to?â
âErm, Lafayette Hall, if thatâs okay?â You suddenly felt the unease in the pit of your stomach and started absentmindedly pulling at your fingers in a nervous gesture. âI know, itâs a bit too far, so if you want to drop me off anywhere nearer, I will understand.â
âNo problem, that way we can spend more time together,â he replied as he rubbed his hands and breathed hot air into his palms before he grabbed the wheel and the car pulled away from the curb.
His eyes were glued to the road ahead of him, and so he hadnât noticed you breathing a sigh of relief and casting your eyes down at the notion of him appreciating your company.
âSo, what do you say about the class?â Joe eventually broke the silence without tearing his eyes from the traffic as he carefully navigated the streets, but if you had lifted your gaze a fraction of a second sooner, you would catch him grimacing at the small-talk question.
âSeems pretty interesting. The workload is absolutely crazy though, donât you think? God knows how many essays, assignments, presentations and the final coursework⌠sounds like Iâll be spending all my free time in the library.â
âWell, we could always study together. If you would like,â Joe added in haste as he dared to glance towards you to see your reaction.
âI would love that,â you answered truthfully and were rewarded with another beautiful smile of his which you gladly returned.
As he made a turn with his car, you were met with a sea of motionless red lights distorted through the raindrops on the windscreen. The rainy weather must have caused the usual surge of cars on the streets that regularly resulted in nothing but traffic jams.
âDamn it, I donât think I can turn anywhere and bypass it,â Joe said, his eyes skimming the street.
âThatâs okay, I donât mind,â you assured him, unhappy to see the frown on his face as frustration took over his features. When it seemed he had nothing to say and you couldnât think of any other words of reassurance, you immersed yourself in the sound of rain beating against the cars and pitch-black concrete. Â
âSorry,â he said sheepishly after a while, âI offered to drive you home, not to get stuck with me in a jam.â
âYou offered me a ride, the destination was not specified,â you retorted and turned your head to face him and shoot him a wink.
âIs it still considered a ride if weâre not moving?â he chuckled and you were glad the metaphorical dark cloud above his head, unlike the grey clouds in the sky, seemed to have dissipated as quickly as it had appeared.
âTouchĂŠ. But still, Iâm not complaining.â
âNeither am I.â
A comfortable silence settled between you again as you both sat in the car, none of you willing to break the eye contact. Unfortunately, the traffic started moving at that moment, albeit at slow pace, and Joe reluctantly shifted his focus to the road. Even though after a few metres it was time to push the breaks again, he was not ready to meet your gaze.
Instead, his fingers started drumming against the wheel, the movement catching your eye. When he noticed you staring, he smirked and pursed his lips, You thought he would say something or maybe give you another smile. What you did not expect him to do was start making car noises with his mouth and slide his hands around the wheel to mimic driving and revving up, which made you burst out laughing. Â
âWhat?â Joe asked and the innocence in his voice brought another fit of laughter from you as you clutched at your stomach.
âYouâre ridiculous, you know that?â you managed to tell him in between giggles.
âIâve been described in such terms, yes,â he replied with a joyful glint in his eyes, earning another laugh.
With a smile playing on his lips, he waited for you to calm down as you took deep breaths and placed your hand on your chest, your heart beating hard against the palm, before he spoke again.
âI really like your laughter, by the way,â he admitted quietly and you beamed at him. You might have fallen in love with him at first sight in the lecture hall, but this was the moment you realised you couldnât quite accept the image of your life without him. And though you didnât know how, you knew he felt the same as he tentatively outstretched his arm and reached for your hand, his fingers soft against your skin.
âWell, then itâs a good thing you make me laugh with such ease,â you smiled and squeezed his hand in return.
It had taken him a few more days before he gave you a lift again and as you sat in his car, at the very same spot, he finally kissed you and asked you out.
The brush of his mouth against yours caused your heart to skip a beat just like it does every time you two kiss, the memory vivid in your head even all those years later. As you watch Joe with Olive on the mini train ride, the ghost of the touch caresses your skin, the feeling as tangible as back then when your lips first met.
The train slows down until it stops to a halt as the ride ends and Joe grabs Olive under her arms and carries her towards you.
âHi, baby, did you enjoy it?â you coo when they arrive at your side, your daughter cradled in his arms. She reaches for you with her small hands, and you canât help but take her from him and press her against your chest. Joeâs hand finds the small of your back and he rubs it gently.
âWe had a lot of fun, didnât we Olive?â he says and tickles her stomach, her bubbly giggles earning her a bright smile from you.
âIâm happy to hear that!â you beam at them as Joe looks around the amusement park.
âOh look, teacups! And thereâs one with a dinosaur print on it. Weâve gotta go on this one too!â he exclaims and you place a kiss on Oliveâs temple before you give her back to Joe.
âHave fun!â
âWait, you sure you donât want to go with us?â A wrinkle forms on his forehead, his eyes filled with worry.
But the mere idea of sitting inside one of the cups and letting the ride spin you around makes your stomach churn as you feel your gorge rise at the thought.
âAbsolutely. Iâll go sit on that bench over there and watch you from there, okay?â
Joe hoists Olive up on his hip and gently grasps your elbow. âIs everything alright? Are you okay?â
âIâve never been better,â you answer and press a sweet kiss to the corner of his mouth. You give him a reassuring smile when he hesitates to move and take Olive to the teacup ride, but she starts wiggling in his arms and so his grip on her tightens and he shifts her focus back to her.
While they wait in a line, you browse around the few shops and stalls that are scattered around the park. One shop in particular catches your attention and a quirky smile pulls at the corners of your mouth when an idea forms in your head. After you make your purchase and finally sit down on the bench you mentioned earlier, you scan the crowds to find your husband and daughter and that feeling of utmost love comes back in full force.
You canât believe itâs been exactly one year since you gave birth to Olive. She is such a big girl already, and for a short moment you get slightly emotional about the passage of time. Clearing your throat and wiping your tears with the back of your hand, you pull out your phone again, taking pictures and videos of Joe and Olive so that you never forget this special day.
Later that night you softly knock on the door to the nursery and when you open it, youâre met with the loveliest sight in the whole wide world. Joe is sitting in a big armchair with Olive lying on his chest while she slowly sucks her thumb and listens to him reading her a bedtime story.
âItâs time to sleep, big girl,â you whisper softly when you kneel at their side and run your fingers through her hair. âLook, Mummy got you something while you and Dad were having fun on the rides.â
From behind your back, you pull out a small bright green t-shirt with a logo of the amusement park printed on the front and Oliveâs eyes widen and sparkle in excitement.
âI know, itâs silly,â you quickly add when you spot Joeâs amused expression. âI just thought it would be a nice reminder of this day.â
âItâs perfect,â he says and chuckles when Olive grabs it from your hands and cuddles to it without hesitation.
âWait, baby, I gotta wash it first,â you laugh softly and gently pry the t-shirt from her grip. She pouts, her bottom lip quivering slightly but Joe takes no time to hand Olive her favourite teddy bear and the sadness is quickly forgotten. Together, you put her to bed, kiss her forehead and tuck her in. Â
âHappy birthday, my love,â you say at the door and close it behind you.
âIâm sure sheâll sleep through the whole night, itâs been a very busy day.â
âIt really was,â you agree and hide a yawn in your palm as you make your way to the bedroom. âThank you for this, it was an excellent idea.â You reach out and squeeze his hand. âAnd Iâm sure sheâll love the birthday party on Saturday as well.â
âYeah, itâs gonna be awesome, right?â
âYou wouldnât have it any other way,â you chuckle.
Your hand in his, Joe takes the opportunity to pull you to him and wrap his arms around you in a warm embrace.
âBy the way, whereâs my present?â he whispers hotly against the shell of your ear when you enter the bedroom, and you giggle.
âIs it your birthday?â You tilt your head and cock an eyebrow, tapping the pointy tip of his nose with your finger. âAlthough⌠now that youâve mentioned itâŚâ you trail off and smirk at him.
To Joeâs surprise, you free yourself from the embrace and fetch a bag thatâs been hidden underneath the bedside table.
âThis is for you.â You pull out a much larger version of the same t-shirt youâve given to Olive, although this one is crimson red and Joe laughs, thanking you with a press of his lips to yours. âThis is for me,â you continue when you finally get a chance to breathe again, and show him a light blue t-shirt, âand thisâŚâ
Joe cannot believe his eyes. Youâre holding a tiny pastel yellow romper suit, too small to fit Olive.
âAre we?â he asks as his eyes glisten, the realisation of what youâre trying to say with that small piece of fabric filling his heart to the brim with so much love and affection he feels for you, for Olive and for your new baby that is yet to be born.
âYes,â you answer, happy tears running freely down your cheeks as you throw yourself at him, his arms always ready to catch you and hold you tight.

Baby Sister, Joe Mazzello
Can I request a fluffy Joe Mazzello x fem. reader where reader has given birth to their second daughter and Joeâs mom brings their daughter to the hospital and Joe and reader introduce their daughter to her new baby sister?
Word Count: 840~
The bright and early sun was what woke me up this morning, my eyes quickly adjusting to the light as it fell over Joeâs sleeping form in the hospital recliner. Soon after I woke up, a nurse entered our room with our newest addition to the family, Amelia, keeping quiet as she tried not to stir the sleeping baby in front of her, plus the grown man asleep in the corner. It was around feeding time, so she was probably hungry. Thankfully, she latched on without any issues, and soon after she began feeding, she fell back asleep once more.
Holding our brand new baby in my arms was exciting for me. It had been a few years since I gave birth to Lillian, so being able to hold someone so little was new to me again. As I held her, watching her little eyes twitch every so often, I found myself reminiscing on all the times Joe and I learned something as brand new parents. All of the moments I found myself surprised as I watched Joe never grow mad or agitated once with me or our baby. I had spent so many years of my childhood with my parents doing exactly that, and I hoped I would never be in a relationship like that. Instead, I met Joe, and instantly I knew he was different from the rest.
âGood morning, beautiful,â I hear a groggy voice beside me say, bringing me out of my thoughts. Turning my head toward Joe, I smile at his tired face just as he gets out of the chair and comes over to me and Amelia. Sitting on the edge of my hospital bed, Joe watches as Amelia sleeps against my chest, wrapped in a pink blanket and her tiny fist resting against my skin. His face only grows with happiness before he leans forward and gives me a gentle kiss. âTo have pushed out a little human and still look as great as you, man,â Joe zones off, giving me an almost dopey smile. âIâm so lucky you love me.â
Before our sweet moment can continue, a gentle knock sounds against our hospital door, causing Joe to call out, âCome in.â Once the door opens, our three-year-old comes bounding into the room, face full of smiles and utter excitement. Behind her stands Joeâs mom, an almost tired look taking over her face as she watches her granddaughter run to my bed. However, Joe quickly catches our little girl in his arms before she can reach us, and instead, he carefully leans her down so she can get a better look at her new baby sister.
âWow,â she draws out, her hazel eyes wide as can be. I thought maybe with Amelia, there would be a chance for one of the girls to have my eyes since Lillianâs were a complete match to Joeâs, but no. As soon as I saw Amelia open her eyes for the first time, I knew they were an exact match to Joeâs once again.
âSheâs so pretty, mommy,â Lillian says in complete awe, completely entranced by her little sister. âYou did a good job, mommy,â she further tells me, nodding enthusiastically. Her words make me laugh, all while Joe nods his head with her.
âShe did, didnât she?â He agrees with her, gently holding her a bit closer so she can get a better look. âYou and your sister get all your looks from mommy, not daddy.â
âOh hush,â I tell him, flashing him a grin as I shake my head. âBoth the girls have your eyes, and thereâs no denying that nose,â at my words, Joe looks between the girls as the smile on his face softens, seeing that my words are true. I donât know how he hasnât noticed that before.
âTheyâre simply beautiful,â Joe's mom speaks up, walking closer so she can see her brand new granddaughter. Her eyes glaze over with tears at the sight, looking between me and Joe before placing a hand on his shoulder. âYou guys make such perfect babies,â she tells us, making my eyes glaze over with tears as well.
Leaning Lillian down to sit next to me on the hospital bed, Joe reminds her to be gentle, but she doesnât need to be reminded. She wonât even move as soon her knees hit the mattress, and instead, she settles for gazing at her sister in awe once more. âRemember this moment,â I tell her, leaning down to kiss the wavy hair adorning her head. âBecause when you two get older, you might not like each other.â
âI could never, mommy,â she promises, a smile remaining on her face.
âWeâll see when youâre teenagers,â Joe murmurs, giving me a smirk. Looking between him and the two girls, I canât help but feel so content and happy with my situation. Iâm so happy to have the love that I have from my family, and I love that the man I get to call mine loves me deeply too.

⥠Marry Me? âĄ
Pairing: Joe Mazzello x reader
Warnings: Mentions of marriage, but simply pure fluff
Summary: Joe had been acting nervous all night, it's not until the end of dinner when you found out why.
Word Count: 1.7k+
Requested by @bohrhapgirlforlife19, I changed the request a little bit, I'm sorry if you don't like what I did! I don't really like this too much but I wanted to get it up today.
It was just over 4 years ago when you first met Joe. You were working on the set of Bohemian Rhapsody as one of the costume designers. You were the one who designed most of Joeâs outfits and the one who would have to look after him during fittings, so it was safe to say you spent a lot of time together.
Nearly instantly the two of you got on really well. The first day was slightly awkward, with both of you not knowing each other at all. However, after having a conversation with each other during his first fitting, the two of you found out a lot about each other. From that moment on your friendship only grew.
And with the growing friendship, feelings blossomed between the two of you. Neither of you told each other at first, you confined in your colleagues, a lot of which had already guessed your feelings, being able to read how you spoke with him, and Joe spoke to the fellow cast about it, making them vow to secrecy, wanting to make sure that they wouldnât be the oneâs to tell you. Joeâs plan, however, didnât really work. It was fair to say that you would hear the gossip throughout the crew whilst you were fixing their costumes, and other than being incredibly close to Joe, you were also close to Ben and Lucy, who ended up being the people to tell you about Joe.
During shoots youâd spend your time standing nearby so youâd always be around when someone needed something done with their costume, you were sipping on your cup of tea, talking to some of your colleagues when Ben comes up to you, a small smile on his face, âSorry, love. My tops ripped a bit, I need it fixing before I go back in front of the camera.â He spoke, chuckling slightly as he lifted his arm up to show a rip on the side of his top.
You placed your mug down, shaking your head lightly with a laugh as you stood up to check the rip, âhow the hell did you do that?â you chuckled.
âI have no idea, the director pointed it out to me once he noticed,â Ben explained, watching as you walked over to the small sewing kit you kept onset, pulling out a small needle and the correct coloured thread before coming back over to him,
âKeep your arm up for me.â You spoke, as you began sewing up the tear in his shirt.
Ben smirked at you lightly before he spoke again, âHow are you and Joe getting on?â
âWeâre fine, weâre good friends, you know?â you spoke, a hint of confusion in your voice, wondering why Ben was asking you this.
He nodded, humming lightly, âJust friends? Is that all you think of him?â
You furrowed your eyebrows, finishing up the sewing as you tied it off and stood back up, letting Ben put his arm down, âWhy are you asking me that?â you spoke as you put your tools away before looking back to Ben, crossing your arms over his chest as he placed his hands in his pockets.
Ben knew he shouldnât really say anything, he had sworn to Joe that he shouldnât, but at the same time he already had a feeling that he knew how much you liked Joe and he wanted to get both of his friends together so he decided to just go for it, âA little birdie told me that Joe might see you as more than a friend.â he mumbled, chuckling at your shocked reaction, âso, yâknow if you do like him, it wouldnât do any harm in telling him.â he smirked, nodding at you once before walking back onto set, leaving you in your thoughts.
It didnât take you long to decide what to do after Ben had spoken to you, once filming had wrapped and Joe went into his trailer you decided to go and see him and ask him about what Ben had told you about. And that ended up being very worthwhile for you, Joe was meant to be going out with the rest of the cast for drinks after the shoot, but after a long conversation with you, he decided to spend the night out with you instead, taking you out for drinks before you ended the night in his trailer, wrapped up in his arms simply talking about anything and everything that came to mind.
--
You both decided to keep your budding relationship a secret, to begin with, not telling people when you went on dates with each other, and not telling anyone when Joe eventually asked you to be his girlfriend. It wasnât that you didnât want to tell them, you trusted everyone and you did really want to tell them, but you both simply just wanted the relationship to be just yours for the moment, you both knew that once you told everyone, then all eyes would be on you, and if the media found out, you knew the paparazzi would be all over the two of you. You would tell everyone, just not quite yet.
It was the night filming wrapped when you told everyone, nearly 6 months into the relationship, and as you both thought, everyone was insanely supportive of the both of you, and it was during the premiere of the film when you made your relationship public to the media, and the both of you have never been happier.
--
It was the night before valentines day, and valentines days with Joe were always special, he would always go all out, taking you on the most amazing dates every time, and you figured that this year would be just the same. Joe had brought you a new dress to wear, along with shoes and some new jewellery, like he did every year and he told you when he wanted you to be ready to leave.
Joe had struggled to hide this surprise from you, after all, you were living together now, he thought it would be hard to hide things from you, but he somehow managed to, at least he hoped he had and that you truly had no idea what he had planned.
It was beginning to darken outside when you and Joe left, he had told you already where you were going, knowing that it was what he had actually planned to do that he needed to keep a secret. It was a little while later when you were getting out of the car and walking into a rooftop restaurant, somewhere Joe had taken you on a lot of dates before, it was one of your favourite places, being able to watch the nightlife from nearly 20 stories up, the atmosphere of the restaurant was always amazing, the whole deck was covered in fairy lights and candles, lighting everything up.
You and Joe had spent dinner like you always do, your feet hitting each other under the table as you spoke quietly, taking in the surroundings below you. Youâd noticed throughout the night that Joe seemed a lot more nervous and flustered than he normally was, throughout the night you had asked him what was wrong but he always replied with a simple âitâs nothing, love.â and would get back to eating.
It wasnât until the end of the main meal when you found out why he was so nervous. âI need to say something quickly,â he started, his voice quiet as he held your hands across the table, âwhen I met you for the first time during that first costume fitting I never couldâve imagined how important youâd become to me, and I never thought that Iâd fall in love on set, yet here we are.â Joe paused, standing from his seat before kneeling down on one knee, pulling out a small box from his back pocket. All the tables around you had noticed what was happening and paused to watch with smiles on their faces, you gasped lightly as Joe pulled out the box, your eyes already beginning to water with fresh tears. âIâve been thinking of how to do this for a while nowâ he chuckled lightly, âhell, Iâve been holding onto this ring for over a year,â you chuckled with him, whispering his name under your breath, âYou are my whole entire world y/n, and I canât imagine for one moment a life without you in it anymore. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, so y/f/n,â he paused, opening the box to reveal a beautiful ring, âwill you do me the honour of becoming my wife?â he asked, a hopeful tone in his voice.
It was almost like youâd forgotten how to speak, Joeâs worlds causing tears to fall from your eyes, Joe got more and more nervous the longer it took you to answer, before the rough nodding of your head gave him his answer, causing the widest smile to break out onto his face. Carefully he took your hand in his, sliding the ring onto your finger before you both stood up together, your arms wrapping around each other tightly, both of you crying freely into each other's shoulders.
-
When you were first signed on to join the costume department for Bohemian Rhapsody, you never expected to meet Joe and fall in love with him as quickly as you did, and you definitely never expected to marry him, but you wouldnât change anything for the world.

Can I request a fluffy Joe Mazzello x fem. reader oneshot where reader goes into labor and reader and Joe go to the hospital and they welcome their baby daughter into the world and they become parents?
One Time Thing (A Joe Mazzello Fluff!)
Warnings: Language, mild descriptions of childbirth.
To those whoâve birthed 4+ babies: I donât know how you all fucking did it.
âGAH FUCKITY FUCK FUCK FUUUCK!â I screamed as a contraction hit me full force.
âDid you really just turn into Eric Cartman?â Joe said cringing as I squeezed the shit out of his hand.
âSHUT THE FUCK UP JOE I AM NOT IN THE MOOD!â
This was only our first baby and I was already done with the pain.
âYouâre doing good mom, just remember to breathe,â said a nurse who was checking my monitors. I inhaled and exhaled the way my birthing coach taught me, slow and steady...it did shit.
Finally the contraction passed and I laid back in my bed. âSee? Youâre okay⌠God youâre doing so well baby.â Joe said trying to comfort me.
âOh suck my balls Joe,â I said. âIâm a hot mess and you know it.â
âYouâre not,â he said. âYouâre absolutely beautiful and what youâre doing is indescribable.â I rolled my eyes. âI swear you never cease to surprise me.â
I laughed thinking back to another time when I wasnât on a hospital bed with my legs splayed open. A time when both Joe and I were two innocent kids feeling the full power of love for the first time.
It was summer and we were both seventeen. Weâd started dating two years earlier but the flame continued to burn hard. On this day we met up at my house (mom and dad were out of town on second honeymoon so I had the house to myself) and went for a dip in my pool.
We splashed around for a while as my radio played gently in the background. Eventually Joe wrapped his arms around me as a slower song began to play.
âYouâre still the one I run to,
The one that I belong to,
Youâre still the one I want for life.â I sung softly not even trying to compete with Shania. Joe smiled at me and brought his lips to mine.
Our bodies went together perfectly. Hell everything about us went perfectly. Some time later were in one of our lounge chairs. I was on top of him with my back against his chest. We were naked, breathless, and just in our own world. Joe placed kisses on the side of my neck as we came down from our high.
âThis is the craziest thing weâve ever done,â I said giggling.
âYeah but I canât say I regret it,â he said.
âIf only we could re-experience this moment, forever and ever.â
âWho said this was a one time thing?â he asked. âAs far as Iâm concerned Iâm gonna make love to one girl and one girl only, for the rest of my life.â
I smiled and kissed him lightly on his lips.
In the end it really wasnât a one time thing. Years later we married and nowâŚ
âAHHHHH!!!!â I cried as I began to push. Joe stood beside me holding my hand and trying not to faint at the image of our crowning baby. I took a few breaths and heaved again.
âALRIGHT WE HAVE THE HEAD!â The doctor shouted. She suctioned the babyâs mouth and nose before hovering her hands under the babyâs head. âALRIGHT MOM IâM GONNA NEED ONE BIG PUSH! READY?â I nodded. âOKAY BREATHE AND PUSH!â
I pushed with all the strength I had. A moment later it was like everything was flooding out of me all at once...and there was a cry.
âITâS A GIRL!â The doctor shouted placing my daughter on top of me. I cried and kissed the top of her head. Joe kissed her next, tears streaming down his cheeks.
âHi, small squish,â I said.
âSheâs so beautiful,â Joe cried. âSheâs so fucking beautiful. God I canât believe we actually made her.â
One placenta delivery and baby clean up later I held our daughter.
âCan you imagine her first day of school?â Joe said.
âOr her bossing around her younger siblings?â I added. Joe looked at me stunned. âWhat? Did you really think this was a one time thing?â
âBut the screaming, the pain⌠I thought, maybe, youâd never want to⌠â
âBabe the screaming and pain are worth it,â I said handing him our baby. âI love her and I will love the other kids we have, because Iâm having them with the man Iâll always want.â
He smiled. âI love you.â
âI love you too,â I said. âAnd I love you, my small squish.â
âThe squishiest squish there ever was,â Joe said just as our little girl opened her eyes.

The Day My Life Changed Joe Mazzello x Reader
(In honor of Valentineâs Day, I thought I would finally try and write a Joe Mazzello fic. Hope you enjoy!)
Description: Reader comes home from work and finds Joe and their daughter in their daughterâs room and Joe is just being the cutest with his daughter. As reader is watching Joe interact with their daughter, reader reminisces on the day her and Joe met. (Y/N= your name)
I pull my car into the driveway of my house and get out of the car. Walking up to the front door and unlocking it with my keys, I slowly walk into my home. Work was exhausting, but coming home to Joe and my daughter is worth it.
The living room is deserted which means that Joe must be upstairs with our daughter. I walk upstairs and hear laughter coming from my daughterâs room.
Slowly opening the door a little, my heart melts at the sight before me. Our daughter is laying down in her bed attentively listening to Joe as he reads her a bedtime story.
âThe prince kissed the princess and they got married and lived happily ever after!â
âJust like you and mommy!â
âYes princess, just like me and mommy!â
Seeing the two of them together, I couldnât help but think to myself how lucky I am! I had a wonderful, sweet, funny, caring husband and the most adorable little girl. I remembered the day Joe and I first met.
Flashback:
It was my first day working on the set of Bohemian Rhapsody and I had just gotten a coffee because it was very early in the morning and I needed the caffeine to help me stay awake for the long work day ahead.
Being the clumsy person I am, I wasnât watching where I was going and bumped into someone and spilled my coffee all over them.
âOh my gosh, Iâm so sorry!â
âDonât worry about it!â
Thatâs when I looked up and my eyes met a pair of the warmest color of hazel eyes I had ever seen! I immediately thought he was extremely cute! I was at a loss for words!
To break the awkward silence, the man stuck out his hand for me to shake. âIâm Joeâ. I took his hand and told him my name. âY/Nâ.
âY/N. Thatâs a pretty nameâ. I immediately blushed and looked down nervously so he wouldnât see me blushing.
âSo Joe, as in Joe Mazzello? The Joe Mazzello who is playing John Deacon?â
âThe one and onlyâ. We talked for a couple more minutes and I found him to be very charming and funny. His jokes had me laughing like no one else had before! Sadly, my boss called me so I had to get to work. Before I went, he asked for my number and he gave his to me as well.
After that moment, the rest was history. Joe and I went on our first date shortly after that and spent every waking moment we could together. On our two year anniversary, he asked me to marry him and of course I said yes! Not long after we were married, I found out I was pregnant. Joe was ecstatic when I told him and we were so excited to become parents! When our daughter was born, it was the happiest day of our lives! She looked just like Joe. Seeing Joe hold our daughter for the first time made me fall in love with the man all over gain!
Flashback Ends
Back to reality, I watch as Joe kisses our daughter goodnight and tells her he loves her and I stick my head out of the door as I see Joe coming to the door. He quietly shuts our daughterâs door, and I wrap my arms around his waist. He jumps slightly but when he turns around and sees itâs me, he relaxes.
âHey babe, I didnât hear you come in!â He gives me a loving kiss.
âSorry I scared you, but I came up here and saw you being the most adorable dad ever to our daughter and I just couldnât help but watch you two together and I didnât want to interrupt.â
âThatâs okay honey. Do you want to go downstairs and watch a movie?â
âThat sound great!â
Joe and I go to the living room and pick Bohemian Rhapsody to watch. I canât resist watching movies with Joe in it! After he puts the movie on, he settles down next to me on the couch and he wraps his arm around my shoulder while I wrap my arms around him and rest my head on his chest. Halfway through the movie, I speak up.
âJoe, I think this is my favorite movie of all time! If it wasnât for this movie, me and you would have probably never met, gotten to fall in love, get married, and have our beautiful daughter. I know the way we met may have not been the most romantic, with me spilling my coffee all over you, but I wouldnât change anything for the world. I love you so much Joey!â
âAwww, I love you too Y/N, and I love our daughter and this beautiful life we have built together!â We kissed and we pulled apart a couple of seconds later and continued to watch the movie. Snuggled up in his arms, I looked up at Joe while his gaze remained on the TV thinking about how I had managed to get such a handsome and kindhearted man like him. My life truly changed for the better the day I met Joe and I wouldnât have it any other way! ďżź

Masterlist + Request Info
You stood in front of the mirror, a vision in lacey, crystal white.
Your eyes fixed on your engagement ring, the memories of your relationship with Joe swimming through the diamond. It was the morning of your wedding to Joseph Mazzello and you couldn't believe the day was finally here.
As you reminisced, one particular memory came to mind: the day you met.
It was pouring down with rain at the University of San Francisco, the cold chilling you to the bone, and you forgot your umbrella. Your winter coat was doing its best to stem the freeze as you ran to your bus stop, but it was soaked through, rendering its efforts useless.
You sheltered under a tree for a moment to catch your breath and when you looked up you realized you had no idea where you were.
The rain was so dense and heavy it was bordering hurricane territory and your hand probably would've vanished had you stuck it out. You relied purely on muscle memory to move you around campus each day so now that you couldn't see a thing and had to think about your whereabouts, you were completely lost.
The sound of brakes screeching in the unintelligible distance alerted you that your bus had arrived, and you groaned when you heard the rumbling of the engine as it pulled away. So, you'd missed your bus and your only other means of transportation was on the other side of the school and wasn't set to arrive for another hour. You also had no idea where the other side of the school was at this point.
Deciding to wait under the tree in hopes of the rain clearing so you could locate yourself and eventually the next bus, you leaned against the trunk and sighed frustratedly. A few minutes had passed before you heard someone calling your name. Squinting your eyes and scanning the area, they fell on a blurred figure a few yards away.
"Y/n L/n is that you! Is there even a person there?"
You yelled back confirmation, and the figure ran towards you. You grinned when you recognized Joe Mazzello from your Film & Television Studies class holding an umbrella. I must clarify. This was the first time you'd officially met. You were working on the same degree, and you shared a couple of classes.
"Hey, I thought I recognised you. I saw you book it when it started raining and wondered why you didn't just grab your umbrella. Looking at the state of you however, I'm gonna assume you forgot it."
You nodded in embarrassment. He grinned and shrugged off the warm parka he was wearing, handing it to you and collecting your sopping wet one. Thanking him with a smile, he asked what your plan of attack was, and his face contorted in mild horror as he discovered you intended to, "subject yourself to even more of this hideous weather." His words, not yours.
"You're kidding right? I'm sorry, I know we're not too well acquainted with each other, but I insist, come stay with me in my dorm for the night. My roommate moved out the other week so there's a spare bedroom if you want it. The weather's only gonna get worse in the next half hour and is supposed to stay like that for the next 2 days. I just don't like the idea of someone out here for another hour. They're recommending people stay off the roads you know."
So, you did. You and Joe christened your friendship over pizza and study notes. He rifled through drawers and found some smaller clothes for you to wear for the remainder of your stay. You slept in the spare bedroom and awoke to the smell of bacon and eggs being cooked, grateful for the fact that neither of you had any classes that day.
It was such a simple event in your life, but it meant the world to you now. Wiping away a stray tear before your makeup artist freaked out and powdered your face down again, you forced yourself back to reality and checked the clock, hearing a knock on the door.
It was time.
Oh. My. God. Mrs. Y/n Mazzello. Every decision over the last 8 years had led up to this moment. Joe had his arms wrapped tightly around your middle while yours were fastened around his neck. The two of you swayed together in time to the music, blocking out the gathering of family and friends surrounding you.
Taking your hand in his, Joe spun you out and spun you back in before dipping you and planting a kiss on your lips. The crowd whooped and whistled but neither of you took any notice as you guided each other across the floor. When your fingertips brush over your husband's ring, you couldn't help but grin.
"What are you smiling at Mrs. Mazzello?"
"Your wedding ring Mr. Mazzello."
Joe brought your hand to his lips and kissed your own ring before pulling you close to him once more to kiss you sweetly as the song ended and your families cheered.
"Thank God for that damn hurricane."

may I request something where joe mazzello is married to a lead singer of a band and has been for a while and she's brought up in an interview and he talks about how they metđ
Sure thing!
A/N: sorry these have been coming out slow. It's just lately I have been losing motivation to write for Queen and BohRap Cast members and I got distracted by other fanfic writing projects. Anyways, here ya go!
No warnings minus an accident where a dog is almost harmed but ends up safe (inspired by The Gilded Age)- just fluff!
Reader here is female, per the person's request.

"Good Morning, Y/N! Tell us- isn't today your anniversary with Joe Mazzello?"
You nodded in the chair of the morning show. Your eyes adjusted t the glare of the bright lights. From behind one camera, leaning against the wall was your beloved husband. His hands were in his pockets and he was grinning, beaming as he watched you.
You looked at the lady with heavy pink lipstick and pearls for eight in the morning and nodded your head.
"Yes, I am! It's our third anniversary!" you answered.
She tilted her head, but you could tell that her pink, made-up smile was genuine. Although she was more accustomed to being glamorous and dressed nicely in the morning than you were, there was a real curiosity in her- like talking to a new friend, not a news show host.
"Congratulations!" she cried.
"Thank you!" you said.
"Is it hard with Little and Fierce touring so much?"
"Yes, I will admit, it does get hard. Sometimes I get so hoarse the next day I can't call him- all the singing you know. But he understands that even just texting is fine. Joe loves me and he supports me- this was always a dream of mine to be a singer in a band and he wants that for me..."
"Awww, how sweet!" she cooed.
You noticed Joe himself turned a little pink and folded his arms. You threw a look at him and he gave you a wink.
"How did you two meet?" she asked.
You let out a little laugh. Your eyes went up to dig the memory from your mind and then you began.
"You see...you know my dog Bean?"
"Oh yes- the corgi, right?"
"Right! He's still my baby! Well, I had just gotten him. He was just a little puppy and the apple of my eye- still is! And I was out in the city, walking him. Suddenly, I tripped over something on the sidewalk- something on the pavement, I, uh, think. And uhm...it surprised me so much I let go of the leash and Bean ran away- right into the street!"
"What! No!" she gasped.
"I had a heart attack- there were cars coming and they couldn't see the little guy! Then I saw a flash of red hair and...uh, Joe ran in."
"Into traffic?"
"Yup! He managed to dodge around the cars, scoop Bean into his arms, and get him to safety! Then he met me and Joe gave this...this smile. And...I, uh, I don't believe in love at first sight but...when he looked at me..."
Joe's own hazel eyes shot up. His face softened.
"I just knew he would change my life the moment I met him and he handed Bean to me. We then went out together. And the rest is history..." you finished.
And what a happy, blissful history you two had and had yet to create!

please let me know what you think, comments are always appreciated <3
âWow.âÂ
The look on Joeâs face is priceless as your giggle sounds, âYou like?â He shakes his head in disbelief as he comes up to take your hand and twirl you around, giving you more than a few once-overs.
âUnderstatement. You look stunning, love, absolutely stunning.â His smile is genuine, the look in his eyes is soft, and his touch on your waist is so tender that you almost forget to breathe.Â
Red carpets and award shows werenât your favorite thing, but this-dressing up and receiving nothing but praise from Joe about how good you looked made it all more than bearable.Â
In front of the cameras, his arm is an anchor snug against your waist, smile confident and sure.Â
And it was always even more fun after-coming home, stripping each other of suits and dresses and ties and fucking til the early hours of the morning.Â
âTrust me, Joey. This,â you gesture towards your floor length dress, âis nothing compared to what Iâm wearing underneath it.âÂ
Time slows down just a little as his eyes widen and darken simultaneously, his grip on your hips less tender and quickly turning desirous.Â
Your hands grab at his wrists as you feel him begin to bunch your dress up. âNope, sorry babe. You donât get to see it until our own after party after the after party.âÂ
A growl sounds deep in his chest and his kiss is all teeth and tongue as he all but yanks your body closer into his. It takes every ounce of strength in you to pull away, the both of you breathless.Â
He watches you like prey while you fix your dress, and smooth out his dress shirt, straightening his tie before smiling shakily-ignoring the extremely loud telltale signs of your arousal.Â
âLetâs go, yeah? We donât want to be late.â
The night drags on slowly and quickly at the same time, and with every semi quiet moment when Joeâs eyes meet yours-your pussy clenches needily and Joeâs cock twitches in his pants.Â
Your panties dampen significantly each time you catch the look in his eye, and it only gets stronger as the night goes on and the inevitable draws closer and closer. His smile may be easy going to onlookers, but his eyes give way to every sinful thing heâs imagining.Â
You smile, laugh, engage in conversation, and a little bit of drinking but the anticipation of how the night will end is slowly eating at you. Your mind flashes back to the initial look on Joeâs face when he first saw you, then the largely detectable shift in his eyes at your mentioning of what lies underneath.Â
Imagining the dark and insatiable looks heâll give you once itâs revealed is enough for you to push up and away from the table-a little more forcefully than you intended, drawing more than a few eyes over to you.Â
âSorry,â your smile is tight, unconvincing, âIâm just going to run to the ladies room. Nature calls!âÂ
You rush to the bathroom which is across the expansive room thatâs currently filled with a-listers and celebrities laughing and drinking and celebrating.Â
Slinking through them is easy, and as soon as your hand can reach the door to the bathroom, youâre pushing it open and letting it close behind you. Your back rests against the wall as you release a long and heavy sigh.Â
The dulled noise of the party is more than comforting and the tension in your shoulders loosens slowly.Â
You never realize how much being around crowds like that suffocates you until you get a moment to yourself. Shutting yourself into a stall, you carefully pull up your skirt, the thigh high sheer stockings covering your legs that connect to a garter belt, surrounding a brand new pair of cheeky black lace panties-the small seat of it currently damp with your arousal.Â
While holding up the lengthy part of your dress in one hand, your other reaches for some tissue, snatching more than a few sheets off the roll. One stiletto heel balances on the marble floor, the other perched up on the toilet seat.Â
A few quick wipes to your upper inner thighs and theyâre no longer slipping as they rub against one another. You can do this, you think, taking a few deep breaths, it's only just what-maybe an hour more and then you get to go home.Â
Itâs honestly very doubtful that either of you would be able to make it that far. After flushing the toilet and fixing your dress, you exit the stall and clean your hands while you take a little more than a quick glance at yourself in the mirror.
Taking your phone out, you snap a few shameless selfies-deciding that the lighting was too good to go to waste-and then a few turn into several until youâre satisfied. You keep only two-out of ten-and save a silly one to send to Joe.Â
As your thumb hovers over the send arrow, a wicked idea pops into your brain. Clicking the âxâ on the photo you were planning to send to Joe, you reopen the camera app and head back into the stall.Â
With your foot propped up on the toilet seat and dress hiked up and resting in your arm again, you angle your phone just right and snap a photo.Â
The laugh that leaves you is almost sinister as you admire the picture. It perfectly showcases your open legs adorned with your garter belt and stockings-you donât need to think twice as you send it to him.Â
Once again, you fix yourself before exiting the restroom with renewed energy.
The amount of time you take to make your way back over to the group is generous, loving the feeling of adrenaline pumping through your blood-strengthened by the loud music playing.Â
Before theyâre even in your line of sight, you feel a strong hand grip your wrist and youâre yanked back into a familiar body.Â
His voice in your ear is deep and his words drip with irritation and lust as he whispers, âWhat do you think youâre doing?â
His grip has drifted from your wrist to your waist and it stays as you turn around, smiling sweetly, âJust having a little fun, Joey.âÂ
His stare is enough to make you squirm, palms sweating as that look entered his eyes-the one that told you he wanted to eat you alive.Â
âYouâre playing a very dangerous game, baby.â You were almost convinced that he could feel your heart pounding in your chest with how close he had you pressed up against him.Â
Neither of you are aware of anything happening around you, too busy being wrapped up in each other, eyes blaring and gaze unwavering as you breathe heavily, âWhat if I want to play?âÂ
And youâre not entirely sure yourself-too caught up in the moment and in his eyes, his touch, and his lips that bite yours more than they kiss.Â
Your desire pools in the pit of your stomach and Joe chases your lips as you pull away. You couldnât wait anymore and you could tell Joe felt the same with impatience rolling off of him in waves-feeling it in the way he held you and kissed you. He needed to have you now.Â
âSo⌠whatâre you waiting for? Take me home, Daddy.âÂ
If you hadnât been surrounded by hundreds of people and more cameras than you could count, youâre positive he would have attempted to throw you over his shoulder and haul you out of the room.Â
Instead he settled for his hand gripping yours strongly as he guides the both of you through the room, dodging groups of people here and there until you reach a hidden exit.Â
The cool air of the night bites your skin and things are a little less hazy and a little less suffocated with your arousal-until Joe is suddenly moving you into the backseat of his car and leaning into you after slamming the door shut.Â
The haze returns as his lips come back to yours as he groans into your mouth, his tongue rolling against yours with such a fucking tease.Â
âPlease Joey, I need you.âÂ
He chuckles darkly, lips meeting yours for another bruising kiss. All heâs done is kiss you and yet you find it hard to breathe as you sit up when he leans back off of you, yanking his tie off his neck with a feral look in his eyes.Â
âOh, youâll have me, donât worry about that. Youâve done enough teasing tonight, kitten.â He shoves a hand between your legs, cupping your heat in his hand.Â
Itâs Daddyâs turn.Â
âFucking drenched,â he mutters and your legs spread open wider as a silent plea for more, but he chuckles as he removes his hand and slaps your clothed pussy, his smile breathtakingly sinister as you yelp.Â
âFlip over and put your hands behind your back. Now.â
His tone leaves no room for argument so you turn around, your dress twisting with you and your cheek squishing against the seat as you put your hands behind your back.Â
A whine leaves you as you feel him slip his tie around your wrists, double wrapping and tying them together. His fingers trace your stocking covered calf as he rucks your dress up, letting it pool over your hips.
Daddyâs baby is looking so fucking beautiful.Â
Snapping the strap of your garter belt against your skin, a gasp tears sharply from you as he rips your panties open, leaving the material halfway hanging off of you. âJoe!â you whined.Â
âQuiet, Iâll buy you another fucking pair.âÂ
You simmered silently in your anger while he admired your rear end. Prettiest little ass, he had muttered before decorating the skin, his hand landing across your cheeks three times in quick succession.Â
An unpermitted squeal had left you at the unexpected pain that came and went, and it didnât go unnoticed.Â
âDidnât I say to be quiet, kitten?â He growled lowly, his voice coming closer to your ear, making you whimper.Â
âIâm sorry Joey, Iâll be quiet. I promise.âÂ
âOh, I know you will.â
His next words have you tensing slightly, âOpen your mouth.â You know better than to question him so, opening your mouth-albeit hesitantly-a whiny gasp is muffled when he stuffs part of your dress into your mouth.Â
His smile is dark as he looks at you approvingly. âThere we go, that should help you out with that problem.âÂ
His hands are anything but gentle as they grab at your ass, squeezing the flesh while he asks, âWhat do you say?âÂ
You blink wetly at him from the corner of your eye as you try to speak around the material in your mouth-knowing exactly what he was expecting-, âThank you, Daddy.âÂ
You can tell heâs pleased with your response even though he continues doling more spanks out on your ass. Your skin jumps with every resounding crack of his open palm against you, and the simmering pain adds to your arousal.
âLook so good, kitten. Good enough to eat.â You whimper at his words and push back desperately, trying to meet his tongue that was nowhere near your cunt, and cry out when he tuts disapprovingly, âNope, none of that. Youâve done all the teasing tonight. Have you forgotten it's Daddyâs turn now?âÂ
You cry out into your dress when you feel the thick head of his cock sliding up and down your cunt, being coated generously in your arousal. You moan and tears leak from your eyes as your dress soaks up the please that falls from your lips. You can feel his cock throbbing against your clit, hot and hard as he moans prettily.Â
âWhat, you want something? You want my cock? Then fucking beg for it.â His cock rubs against you more harshly as muffled cries of please and Daddy and fuck me leave your mouth in earnest.Â
Itâs all basically incoherent and Joe doesnât tell you if your groveling was good enough or not as heâs suddenly plunging deep inside of you.Â
You sob from the immediate combined feelings of delicious pain, stimulation of your g-spot and the feeling of his cock pulsating in you as he sets a blinding pace, all but pounding you into the car seat. The material of your dress is damp in your mouth as you scream, his hips snapping furiously against your ass as he fucks you.Â
âThis what youâd been wanting, yeah? Wanted to get me all riled up so Iâd drag you out to the car just so you could have my cock?â
Trying to squirm away from the onslaught of his dick in your cunt is futile because you donât get very far and Joe is immediately pulling you back on to him by the tie around your wrists.Â
âNo, you wanted my cock kitten, so take it.âÂ
And you do. Your pussy clenches around him at his words, whines and sobs muffled by the thick material in your mouth as Joe fucks you so good you see stars behind your eyes.Â
Every thrust of his hips drives his cock deep into your pussy, the spot inside of you that makes you shake and tremble deliciously grinded into.Â
Your orgasm hits you, itâs sudden and so fucking good that youâre reduced to nothing but a whiny litany of DaddyDaddyDaddy and pleasepleaseplease.Â
Your ass stings as Joe pounds your pussy even as you convulse and tremble around him, sobbing incoherently as the fire in your abdomen blazes and your pussy throbs as your body comes alive when he reaches around your hip and under your dress, finding your clit and rubbing it.Â
âGo ahead and come again. Show me how much you love it when I put your little bratty ass in its place.â
Your body listens to him before you do, trembling from head to toe as you squirt on his cock, no longer holding on to any control over yourself; that was long gone.
Joeâs hips stutter against yours, his breathing heavy as his grip on the necktie around your wrists tightens as he pulls you back on him once more. His cock throbs and swells before he comes deep inside you, thick and hot ropes of cum painting the walls of your pussy.
You whine as he slowly pulls out of you, and slowly pulls you up by your hair, silently guiding you to turn around. He yanks the saliva-sodden material from your mouth, thumbs rubbing your lips as he leans in and kisses you, tongue immediately searching yours out.
Your eyes are glossy, and he thinks to himself, good girl, until he looks down at himself, all disheveled and messy. And you can feel his cum slowly dribbling out of your well-fucked cunt beneath the skirt of your dress.
âWould you look at that? Look at the mess you made kitten, you ruined my best pants.âÂ
Deep down, you know heâs not genuinely upset but youâre too deep in your head to be anything but remorseful as heâs still regarding you with that stern tone, so you pout and your eyes water a bit as he looks at you disapprovingly. âI-Iâm sorry, Daddy.âÂ
âSorry isnât going to cut it, baby. Clean it up.â
Your wrists are still tied behind your back as you sniffle and lean forward, your tongue coming out to lap up the cum-his and yours combined-from his crotch. His dick twitches in front of your face, slowly hardening again as he watches you, eyes dark and brows knitted together.
When youâre done heâs yanking you up by your hair so he can pull your lips to his, biting and sucking on them as he tastes the both of you on your tongue.Â
It makes your thighs quiver underneath you and your arms are near cramping when he pulls away, giving you a chance to breathe.Â
Youâre still huffing as you squeak out red, and gone is harsh dominant Joe, quickly replaced with soft eyes and soft touches as he starts to ask whatâs wrong.Â
You beat him to the punch before the words begin to leave his mouth as you speak up, âIâm sorry, my arms are cramping. Please untie me?âÂ
Heâs already loosening and freeing your wrists from behind your back before you even finish asking, and his voice rolls through you as he meets your eyes.Â
âThereâs no need to apologize, at all. Iâm the one whoâs sorry, ducky.â He rubs your wrists with his thumbs before taking hold of your face, leaving kisses along both of your cheeks, your nose, forehead, chin and then your lips. He doesnât even need to say it because you can feel it. You feel it in every moment when he kisses you-his love, his affection, his care, for you. âSuch a good girl, my good girl.âÂ
Your head is still feeling floaty and his words make you feel all warm inside as the praise sits deep within you.Â
âLetâs go home, yeah?â
âBath?âÂ
âYeah, of course Iâll run you a bath, kitten.â

âAnd do you think we can do that?â
âYes, they need our help, and the Dino Ranch is always up to helping others !!â
You heard some voices coming from far away it seemed, but it made no sense whatsoever to you. Your brain wouldnât process the information properly and you were wondering who needed help and how it was possible that the Dino Ranch was supposed to rescue anyone.
You slowly opened your eyes and realized you were in bed, still trying to properly wake up. Your mother instinct told you to check your daughterâs bed, but she wasnât there. Your heart started to race in your chest, but you heard more voicing coming from the living room. You recalled Joe telling you the previous day that you needed to rest and that he would be waking up early to take care of your daughter and let you sleep a bit.
You took time to stretch in the large bed you shared with Joe. You rolled on his side and deeply inhaled his smell. It was so lovely and reassuring. You felt like a rolled-out dough ready to be baked. It felt very nice, but still, you had the feeling you were missing a good opportunity to spend time with the love of your life and your daughter.
You grabbed your dressing gown and put your slippers on, ready to go downstairs to join them. On the way, you found toys on the floor, a mix of dolls belonging to your toddler and plushes that you dogs liked to play with. You leant to take them with you on your way downstairs, a faint smile on your lips. It felt so nice to have a family of your own and that your kid and pets were getting along so well, ready to raise hell.
The toys in your arms, you carefully walked down the stairs but stopped midway. You sat on the step and your smile widened. You glanced at Joe, holding your daughter close to him. On the coffee table, there were two bowls: one with milk and cereals and another one with fruits purĂŠe, and glasses with fruit juices. And of course, they were watching TV together and obviously, it has to be a show dinosaur related. Just in case there wasnât enough dinosaurs plushes and toys in the house. Not that it bothered you though. When you fell in love with Joe, you fell for him, for his past, for everything about him. And dinosaurs were part of him, in a way. Your daughter was giggling as Joe was pretending he was caught into such an intense story telling.
Sat on your step in the middle of the stairs, wearing your pajamas and with your messy hair, your glance on the scene in the living room slowly faded, your brain taking you back to the moment you actually met Joe.
It was back when you were in college. Los Angeles. A big city for you, but you quite rapidly found your feet. You still couldnât believe you made it to the University of Southern California. It was something huge for you, and you were very proud. You had been able to choose a field that you liked a lot and knew would be still present in the future, regarding entertainment matters. You had chosen to join the gaming department, even if back then, you werenât sure what your future job would be.
It was a nice day, maybe a bit windy, but you didnât mind at all. You liked nature and how impressive it could get, with stormy weather or a strong wind, ready to take Mary Poppins and her umbrella away. This was the kind of season you particularly liked. It wasnât too hot and yet not too cold. The wind was almost caressing your skin, as the sun was still hot enough for you not to actually burn when you were outside.
Another thing you particularly liked about this kind of weather was the trees. As autumn was approaching, the leaves were taking handsome colors but were still firmly attached to the branches. And also, there was this very specific noise that the wind would make as the leaves would swing one against the other. It was probably one of your favorite words : psithurism.
This wind in the leaves and the beauty of the moment made you daydream a bit, no longer paying attention to your surroundings and the people that were part of this world as well. Given the place and the moment, it awkwardly felt like this kind of moment that happened in the movies or series, where the main protagonist has this strange sensation of being away from this world, and is abruptly taken back to reality. You had no idea this kind of thing could ever happen to you. and yet.
You were still looking at the trees, listening to this delicate sound, harmoniously resonating against your eardrums. A delight for the senses. And yet, little did you know.
As you were still walking, even if it was slowly, and not looking at your surroundings, nor at where you were going, you bumped into someone. Of course, it had to happen. At some point, not everyone on this campus would endlessly avoid you.
The books you were carrying in your arms randomly fell on the ground. Realizing at once you were at fault, you apologized at once and got on your knees to pick your stuff up.
âIâm sorry, I wasnât looking at where I was goingâŚ. Iâm really sorryâŚ.â, you apologized.
âThatâs okay, I wasnât really paying attention eitherâŚ.â, the other one replied.
You heard a manâs voice, but were too busy making sure to gather your belongings to really pay attention to the person.
âI was looking at the trees and the windâs psiâŚ.â, you started to say, but stopped mid-sentence, realizing you were talking nonsense to a perfect stranger.
Thatâs when you looked up, feeling you were heavily blushing.
The man facing you, since he was on his knees as well, was very handsome, making you blush even more. His glance was so soft and reassuring, his hazel eyes almost sparkling with glitters. His hair was auburn, but slightly lighter it seemed. He was casually dressed, with jeans and a T-shirt with a vest on top. You couldnât tell why, but it seemed to you he was an angel standing just before you. The world around you could collapse, it wouldnât matter, as long as he was by your sides.
He looked at you as well, and you were ready to give a lot to actually be able to read his thoughts. What was he thinking at this precise moment? Was he feeling the same way?
You noticed a smile appearing on his thin and pink lips, making you melt even more. You were about to talk again, when you heard a loud ring, letting the students know the lessons were about to start again soon.
Thoughts were rushing in your mind, you couldnât tell what was going on, but it was crystal clear you did not want to leave him. You didnât even know his name, you didnât know anything about him, but deep inside, your guts were telling you something. This man would have an important part in your life.
You looked down again, trying to focus on your task, making sure to pick up your books. He was helping you as well, randomly putting the loose sheets in your books. Eventually, you took it all in your arms and stood up again, feeling your cheeks were on fire.
âIs everything okay?â, he kindly asked.
You ran your hand in your hair, putting the locks away from your face.
âYes, yes, all good thanks. Itâs my fault really, I wasnât paying attention.â, you replied.
âSeems like none of us was paying attention rightâŚ.?â, he carried on, dreamily staring at the tall trees that were swinging with the wind. âI mean, who could be dumb enough not to notice you?â, he said with a smile.
You felt like your head was about to explode. What did he just say?
âIâm sorry, what?â, you couldnât help but reply.
âThat wasnât my best move, was it?â, he grimaced. âI was trying to politely say that you are beautiful, but it seems I need to work on that âŚ.â, he carried on, passing his hand on his neck and awkwardly laughing.
âOh. Oh!!â, you mumbled, eventually understanding what he was saying.
The task wasnât easy, but you tried to maintain your composure all the same. You made sure to have all your books safe in one arm and you extended the other to offer your hand.
âIâm Y/N. Pleasure to meet you.â, you said, surprisingly with a normal voice.
âAnd Iâm Joe.â, he replied, taking your hand to put his lips on it, making you giggle. âThatâs too much, right?â, he carried on with a smile.
âNo, no, please, donât worry. Youâre acting like a perfect gentleman.â, you reassured him.
âGood, I wouldnât want my future wife to run away right from the start.â, he joked.
âHum. How about we start with a date and see how it goes before planning a wedding?â, you suggested. You wanted to let him know you were highly interested, but didnât want to rush things all the same.
âCan I have your number? I mean, unlessâŚ. Unless you have someone in your life already and then Iâd have to organize a real duel with armors, judges, an audience and allâŚ.â, he affirmed, pretending he was holding a sword.
You grabbed a piece of paper and noted your phone number down and handed him the note.
âHere. Donât hesitate to call me or send me a message.â, you said, winking at him. âI know it wonât be as romantic as sending each other long letters, just like we would have done in medieval times, but I think right now itâs the easiestâŚ.â, you carried on, slightly laughing.
Joe took the paper and put it against his heart.
âThank you so much, Mâlady.â, he said as he slightly bowed.
âNow, Iâm terribly sorry, but I have a class starting soon.â, you shrugged, apologizing at the same time.
âNot at all, this is a school after all. I mean, I should get going as well.â, he laughed.
It took the two of you a few seconds to part, each of you walking in a different direction. As you walked, you turned back once to see him one more time, but it seemed he didnât turn back to see you.
You sight as you arrived in your class. What were you expecting? This is a campus and the main theme of the classes is entertainment. Maybe he was training for some kind of acting or something? Maybe he never meant anything he said. Maybe the butterflies you felt in your stomach were just one sided. Maybe youâd been a fool for thinking such a man could find you attractive and would consider taking you out.
The class was suddenly boring and it was very hard to pay attention. You randomly took your mobile phone out of its case, not even knowing why, since back then, mobiles were very much less advanced compared to the present time.
And yet. You had a message.
âHello, Y/N, Mâlady, this is Joe. I hope your class is going well. I miss you already.â
You felt your heart tighten and again, blood rushing to redden your cheeks. You tried hard not to squeal in the middle of the class and discretely texted him back.
You came back to reality, sat on your step in the middle of the stairs in your house. You still had a faint smile on your lips as you were thinking about how it all started.
You were convinced all these things could only happen in movies or series. And Joe was an actor, he surely knew it as well. Love at first sight. And yet, it happened to the two of you that day, as you were watching the leaves swing on the branches, as the wind was harmoniously making them sing.
You let your thoughts carry on their random roaming, as they were taking you amongst wonderful memories.
Your endless text exchanges with Joe, leading to a horrible phone bill. Your first date with him. Joe asking you to go to prom with him. The two of you eventually agreed this wasnât something for you and ended up cuddling as the sun was setting in the horizon. The two of you graduating. The two of you moving in together. Joe asking you to be his wife (without real duels or anything this time). The two of you becoming a family and eventually seeing the family getting bigger, with you offering him the pregnancy test.
 And now, here you were.
The smile on your lips widened. You stood up and carried on going down the stairs to join Joe and your daughter on the sofa as the dino Ranch was still having important missions to deal with. This was going to be yet another lovely day, full of laughter and love.
 Psithurim.
 Definitely your favorite word now.

Enchanted | Joe Mazzello
đđđđđđđ: joe mazzello x gn! reader
đđđđđđđ(đ): idk how award shows work lmao is that warning worthy?
đđđđđđđ: joe never had trouble feigning polite smiles while at events like these. It is a welcome relief, though, when he meets you- and doesnât have to fake those smiles.
đđđđđđ(đ): enchanted by taylor swift
đđđđ đđđđđ: 1k
Award shows were fun for the most part. They were chances to make major connections and meet big names in whatever industry the awards were for; which, in this very particular case, was film.
Joe didnât necessarily hate these events- more so mildly disliked them. He was an extrovert, of course, and was kind and genuine with every new person that greeted him and shook his hand- but tonight seemed particularly lonely and insincere, for no other reason than he felt as if every smile sent his way was fake and plastered on as a way to pass as polite.
Thatâs how people were at events such as these, and having gone to the show alone, Joe hadnât seen a single person that he could have a genuine conversation with.
As Joe forced a laugh at another lame joke from the actor whoâd attempted to strike up a chat with him, his eyes wandered among the crowd, searching for a familiar face that could be his saviour.
Then, just as he was about to give up hope on the task altogether, his eyes met yours from across the room.
Heâs never met you before, he was sure heâd remember standing across from eyes like yours, but he did happen to recognize you.
You smile at him, dazzling, kind, and real.
Heâs enchanted. Seeing you on the big screen could never do justice to seeing you in person, even when you were standing near the other side of the room.
You begin walking towards him, offering gentle nods and pats of the arms when you crossed paths with a friendly face.
Joeâs hands begin to shake, so he plays with the corner of the tablecloth in front of him, only mildly paying attention to the actor at his side as he stares at his plate.
He hears your voice before he meets your eyes, your tone playful and warm.
âWerenât you that kid from Jurassic Park?â You ask, a teasing smile pulling at your lips as Joe stands to meet you.
He returned the look of mirth as he squinted and tilted his head, âWerenât you that adult in Jurassic World?â
âTouchĂŠ.â
Joe reaches out to pull out a chair for you, thanking whatever gods he could think of that his hands had calmed their nervous trembling.
He offered the seat to you, which you graciously took as Joe sat back in his own- not even bothered when he noticed the man whoâd been talking at him for the past seventeen minutes had finally moved on to someone else.
You and he spoke softly, Joe chuckled at every joke and watched the way your eyes captured the reflection of the lights all around. He was enchanted by your voice, by your words- every breath you took was another wave of awe flooding his mind.
Even as the show properly started, you continued to whisper amongst yourselves- like children at the back of a classroom.
You shared stories, talked about your most recent projects, you teased and joked about dinosaurs.
Joe couldnât remember a time heâd had so much fun at an event like this. It was relieving, like a breath of fresh air after years of being locked away. You brought out a side of him he loved, a side he couldnât get enough of.
He was captivated.
Joe hadnât had a single sip of the champagne they offered that night, but he felt like your presence was a better intoxicator anyway.
The night continued, the lights sparkled, the cheers were loud and electric. It was the same as any award show, but somehow the atmosphere was different. It was you, Joe knew, that was making him see it this way. It was magic.
He had been enchanted by you, and he kicked himself all the way to his car thinking about how he didnât take the opportunity to ask you out.
Joe drove home, alone, mulling over and recalling the conversations youâd had, and the quipâs you shared.
He was still a bit red faced, he noticed, as he thought of you, and he knew your smile wouldnât soon leave his mind.
Oh god, why hadnât he asked for your number?
This thought didnât leave his head. How could it? No matter how hard he tried, he couldnât stop thinking about you.
Joe wondered what your favourite colour was, and your favourite warm beverage. He wondered if you preferred chocolate or vanilla, cats or dogs, fries or salad.
He wondered if you loved someone. He wondered if he even had a chance with someone like you.
That night he got home and his mind was reeling at the thought of you- so much so that he didnât even change out of his suit before laying atop his bed sheets.
Staring at the ceiling, he cursed himself yet again for not saying more, for not asking you more questions when he had the chance.
As these thoughts permeated his mind, he loosened his tie and glanced at his phone as it lit up on the mattress next to him.
Joe brought the phone to his face, ready for another scam notification from his emails or announcement that someone he followed on Instagram had posted.
Instead, his heart stopped when he read the name that had been running through his head since he left the venue earlier that night.
It was a WhatsApp message from a friend of his who was also in the business of acting- and who, as Joe could recall, had worked with you before.
âY/N L/N is asking me for your contact, would you mind if I sent it?â
Despite being the picture of poetic discussion in person, Rami always had been very âto the pointâ over text.
Joe tried not to seem eager in his response of âYeah, sounds good!â
For the second time that night, his hands shook as he waited- for what, he wasnât completely sure.
Then it happened.
An unknown number appearing in his messages, a giddy greeting, another corny dinosaur joke.
Joe laughed at that, adding your name to his contacts, returning the playful banter, and thanking his lucky stars that you seemed just as enchanted by him as he had been by you.
The way I did not re read this, oop. Anyway, joe could run me over and I wouldnât even be mad. and for that matter so could taylor swift, enchanted is such a vibe -â ď¸
