Dubai mi dona sempre una grande creatività. Scenari nuovi, tanta luce, tanta arte contemporanea di qualità intorno, la possibilità di poter interagire come voglio ed anche la grande serenità di sentire dentro di me che sono qui per creare cose nuove. Ed ancora CicciaFrida, le mie prime due CiccieYayoi (presto anche in scultura di 30cm), ed ancora sperimentazioni su collage e materiali fluo nuovi, schizzi, inserti, ripassi, ricerca di perfezionismo psicotico. Just because we have only heard about men in #Iran being executed doesn’t mean women aren’t being executed, and of course all the people arrested by the Islamic Republic forces are subjected to horrific torture. As sickening as the executions of #majidrezarahnavard, #mohsenshekari, and #ayoubrigi have been, the IR know that publicly executing women would result in a greater international outcry. The women in the following images are just a few of those who are either “disappeared”, being held in unknown locations, or who are otherwise in grave danger. The final image is of #AidaRostami, a doctor who helped injured protesters and was abducted, tortured, and murdered by IR forces.
