I love that Bai Lang tries to apologize but Xun'an keeps explaining that's not what he wants. This isn't a story about the easy solutions, about love conquering everything with ease. This is about growing into love, about learning what it means to love and how to love and how to learn to be loved and to learn to show love and to accept love... but more to understand love. Xun'an loves Bai Lang but he is not going to be used for his love again, he is not going to feel the way he did with Qiran again.

If he is going to love Bai Lang and be loved it will be as equals and it will be love, not being used. And he needs Bai Lang to understand that. And to show that.

I can't believe Andy Wu had the audacity to make his lip quiver like that when Bai Lang tells Jin Xun-An that he didn't have feelings for him. He shows no care for our hearts.

I can’t believe this show made dentistry so fucking sexy. They were making out in the freaking chair of horrors !!!! Watching Bai Lang realize and face how empty he's made his life to accommodate his anxiety is painful to say the least. To watch him explain how he's avoided connections, avoided making meaningful friendships and loving people just to try to protect his fear of loss... and then to tell Xun'an about how wonderful first loves are when we know that Xun'an is his first love. It's that pain of rejecting first to not be hurt, of never accepting anything more because it might end badly, that agony of refusing anything more because anything more might mean something and meaning something might hurt and that hurt is never worth it.

Even for love.

Especially for love. Because love is the scariest loss of all.
