OK so finally got the chance to get in the zone and tune in for Jimin's birthday year ahead advice reading and.... I don't really know what I was expecting (actually I kinda thought reversed queen of wands would return... But yay! She didn't!) but this reading was more strangely intense and high vibrational than I thought it would be... Although, to be honest, intensity and Jimin just go together right? Anyway, here is our cutie, sexy, lovely boy's year ahead advice reading~
OK so the first thing I always talk about is what cards came as significators of a reading because those cards basically set the tone of the reading; giving an idea as to main issue or subject of the reading. In this case, as I was asking for advice for Park Jimin's year ahead, the significators are indicating the most important theme of his year ahead... And what was that? Well the 3 of Pentacles and 8 of Pentacles scream it out loud; WORK!
This might make you think its going to be a hard, hectic or stressful year but... Actually, based on the rest of the cards that's not going to be the case. Rather, aside from the literal hard work involved in his actual job (which he infact mostly enjoys) this 'work' is also on a deeper, personal, mental and spiritual level. It's a sort of coming of age thing... Putting the work into yourself, into sorting your life out and being who you want to be... Again, as I think I've mentioned in a few of these readings, this is your typical mid-twenties stuff (I say as someone in their age group who knows haha).
Ok so the first card that came out was the Sun which, first of all, I love that for Jimin. You don't even know... He's in the place of The Sun and he's BEEN putting in the work to keep himself there! That isn't easy! There's a stubbornness to this Sun which I feel is emphasised by the reversed Strength card. It's like... "I'm going to stay happy and positive, despite feeling vulnerable sometimes... Despite feeling weak... I'm only going to focus on the bright side of life now." And, I just feel so proud of him for that because I can feel the effort and discipline that takes for him... It definitely doesn't come easily... It actually takes soooo much strength which is why the reversal of the Strength card seems to have this interesting duality here which actually really suits Jimin so well. He should keep on this path of conscious disciplined positivity and bask in the sun shining on him right now.
The next two cards are strongly related to this first message. We have the Ace of Cups, a golden goblet overflowing with love, being offered down from the heavens together with the 7 of wands in reverse. Part of deciding to make a conscious effort to think positively and live in the sunshine of his life is allowing the immense love he has been blessed with in his life to flow; accepting the love he is offered without putting up defenses and second guessing everything, wondering if he deserves it or can accept it... Instead he should let it flow as water should, freely, back and forth. Accepting (and being able to recognise!) love that is freely given with an open heart makes it easier to give love in return with the same heart in a way that is pure, safe and healthy and doesn't hurt anyone involved. When you can accept that you do deserve to be shown great love, you are much less likely to be drawn to destructive situations or people who would hurt you...
Which brings us to the next message which is all about that. The reversed Devil and the 3 of Swords are telling me that there's a lesson in the year ahead about cutting out and off the things and people that no longer serve him in life and which only cause him pain. This is again, part of the hard work of living in the sunlight. As long as you're still chained to the things in the shadows, there will always be some temptation drawing you back... But these cards tell me that this is something he will also be putting the work into this year. Positive living, looking after yourself, mentally, physically and spiritually, means cutting out negative influences and habits and I think Jimin recognises what those are in his life already.
OK, now the next two cards jump right back into Work! This time, on a more literal level. The Chariot and the 7 of pentacles are talking about seeing things progress, move forward and come to fruition due to hard work. I feel these two cards are really speaking about his career and projects he may be working on on his own. They're saying that there's success at the finish line after the hard work of running the race, so Jimin, you nice, keep going.
The last two tarot cards are very interesting in this reading... Because there's a literal turn here... We started with the Sun and now we have the Moon bookending this reading... These two cards, The Moon and The 3 of Cups had a strange feeling of vagueness to me while the messages of other cards came through very strongly... I think that's what I'm supposed to get though... I think Jimin himself will feel very uncertain about this situation, whatever it may be... And i feel that whatever it is hasn't even fully begun to solidify as yet (which maybe means it's something that could arise later on in the year ahead?) ... I'm not sure. It just feels very vague... Well, the Moon is there so... Shrug. All I can say is that he will have a feeling of uncertainty over some situation /s involving working or interacting within a group... Which is interesting considering this reading is so focused on him as an individual, to get this at the end... But, like I said, it's so very vague... Hm... Perhaps the message is that, while Jimin's definitely being encouraged to be introspective and work on himself this year, he shouldn't forget to also maintain a strong connection with his friends and people he cares about... I can't see that happening tbh... But then again who knows...
The Doreen Virtue Angel Oracle Card I pulled for this reading was Shanti. It reads:
I am the angel of peace. I bring you new tranquility and a smoother road ahead.
This is definitely speaking to this work on maintaining a bright and positive state of mind... Literally being at peace with himself. I love it!
The Earth Magic Oracle Card I pulled was Full Moon: Completion... Which was so perfectly placed above The Moon tarot card...
I also got this card in Jungkook's reading and I think it's saying something similar here in Jimin's. It's about things coming full circle and being ready to step into a new phase of life. With Jimin's reading I'm really get a sense of freshness... Like this emphasis on cutting out negativity and living cleanly and brightly... This is the energy he wants to work on stepping into now. Again, I love it.
The numerology of this reading is the master number 99. Super high vibration of completion, of seeing the bigger picture, of allowing things to flow... Again, I feel this sense of stepping into manhood here with this reading. There's such a powerful energy of maturity and selfdiscipline here which he will be able to tap into this year in order to manifest the state he'd like to be in... Amazing stuff.
All in all, this was a really positive and powerful reading and I love this for Jimin! Cutting out the things that drag him down and consciously striving to move forward with discipline in a more positive direction in all aspects is just such a great and mature decision. Once again, happy birthday Jimin! Love will always follow you because you're just bursting with love yourself! 💜 💜 💜

The making of Butter by BTS
This is a tarot card reading regarding the energies of the band during the making and production of Butter and other miscellaneous processes. I have used the Housewives’ Tarot deck for this reading.
Be warned that this reading is just for fun and lets not take everything to heart!
The spread I created for this reading had 6 broad topics, among which the spirits picked their cards and guided me through the readings. The topics I picked were -
Why butter?
Who all contributed?
Is there a deeper meaning or motive?
The creative process
Any miscellaneous cards
Without further delay, lets look into the cards-
Pile 1 (why butter?)
The spirits gave one card here, which is the Hanged Man in upright position.
This card tells us that this song was written to break the monotony that most of us faced stuck in lockdown, as the band has been quoted saying, its a simple ‘summer song’ with a light hearted feel. The members have accepted that they may not be able to perform this song live this year, however they have surrendered to the divine and come up with this song, in hopes of keeping the army’s spirit high and to maintain hopes for a better time. The card also points to plausible recent disappointments and stagnation in career with that (scammys?), and overcoming this by producing music which again gives them a chance at proving people wrong and not silently accepting their fate. They have decided to gift this song to army to show them that the recent past does not bother them and they are here to break new records, so this time around, it truly is impossible to deny them anything.
Pile 2 (who all contributed?)
The spirits here gave 2 cards,9 of Wands in reverse and the Ace of Swords in the upright position.
The very basic meaning here is of setting boundaries as well as taking a firm decision. Keeping this in mind, the former card also stands for defensiveness and paranoia of being targeted again and again. I definitely feel that most of the members would have contributed here, however the members that aren’t yet comfortable with English would’ve actually worked the hardest (think jimin, jin and suga), for they actually wanted to get up and prove the others wrong. This card also talks about hiring outside help such as a therapist in its original interpretation, so we can also take it as an interpretation of the boys hiring outside help or even just consulting their tutors over the lyrics and taking their help.
As for the second card, it only confirms the former. It talks about essentially taking new decisions and polishing our skills, taking a new route we were scared of earlier. It talks about sudden epiphanies and realizations, so it might’ve been one of those sudden inspirations that struck a member, forcing them to run out and then start penning down the lyrics, since the sword here is double edged, there were definitely late nights of fighting over lyrics and who penned the better ones, so its likely all members tried their very very best. However since this card also talks about taking a design, its likely that rather than using an amalgamation of their individual works, one was picked over the others. Since this card also talks about leadership, I feel RM definitely led the pack with most lyrics being composed by him(and his fluency in English ofc), but he also motivated and encouraged other members to go ahead and participate here.
Pile 3 (any deeper meaning or motive?)
The spirits here gave 1 card, 8 of Pentacles in reverse.
This card focuses on personal development and growth, or that of creating a new object. However on the downside, the person here focuses too much on the smaller details to see the bigger picture, or they are simply avoiding addressing a certain issue. Using this in context, i feel that butter may actually not be anything more than a plain summer track, however its paving the way for a more meaningful song to come, imagine Blue and Grey vibes but in English. Given the boys aren’t very fluent in the language, they made a song that could be enjoyed by everyone and holds no deeper meaning. This could also act as a two fold method of garnering views, as often very light hearted songs can be enjoyed by everyone, and in these tough times of pandemic, we needed something like this more than ever. So maybe, this could be the boys’ bid for the Grammys again.
Pile 4 (creative process)
The spirits here gave 1 card, Six of Wands In upright position.
This card here is just after 5 of wands, signifying that the person has now crossed the tough times and is in the safe. It talks about being accomplished and proud of your accomplishments, all while moving towards the finish line still, supported by your loved ones. In this context, we can interpret it as the song being composed during the pandemic, where we were told multiple times how much they missed being able to perform live, on top of that, the BE album didn’t gather that much attention, other than dynamite and life goes on honestly. The cards here point to the the fact that despite the relative disappointments the band faced, the creative process must’ve been fueled by this passion to reignite that fire within people, and win many international fans yet again. They are now slowly brining about ‘BTS as the genre and they’re not scared of it anymore, they’re ready to shout it out from the roof that they themselves wont be bound by the limits of any one industry or society. The song was meant for the army to enjoy and help them cross the finish line to (re)establish themselves as the best in the industry.
Pile 5 (miscellaneous)
The spirits here gave 3 cards, Judgement in reverse, The World in reverse and The Strength in reverse.
Firstly I get the impression with the strength in reverse, one or more than one members are currently taking therapy? Don’t be fooled by the peppy dance number, they’ve been on the edge for so long. Its natural with such a high pressure career, but with the world in reverse, this also indicates that butter may have been put off a few times, because of the inability to reach a decision with it, or maybe due to the members’ mental health and also arguments and conflicts regarding this incompetence between some members. Lastly with judgement in reverse, I feel we were close to getting quite a heartfelt song, but the members brushed past this deep song and played it safe with butter, or maybe they were made to by the company or an external force, as this message of introspection is being replaced by a positive lighter message within the original interpretation.
This was my interpretation! Do let me know if you enjoyed it or have any more requests!

Can you, please, do a reading about the reason namjoon always feels underappreciated?
i drew a card and it explains his situation well. it’s THE FOOL, but in reverse.
-interpretation-
namjoon’s circumstances are the following: he is the kind of guy who already feels like he reached the end of the journey.
he’s advanced. while k-pop is more about a youthful spirit, everything bright and new. in tarot, THE FOOL is a fun and original person who’s a beginner in life, just starting out and fascinating others with that. brimming with ideas and curiosity, like a baby learning to crawl. it’s the first archetype in the tarot deck, after all. every debut group carries that kind of innovative feeling, and that’s why it appeals to fans. think about TXT and NCT Dream stepping on the scene. that caused a huge stir. meanwhile, namjoon is someone who feels like he’s seen and done it all. he had his piece of the cake, he’s completed his youthful dancing and prancing — or, at least, that’s what people see on the surface. namjoon’s playful, very idol-esque side is very much thrown under the bus in favor of emphasizing his responsible and mature qualities. he is totally goofy, but it’s not acknowledged all too often as his public image. his appearance contributes to that, he does not look like a haechan or hyungwon or baekhyun or jimin. his build is non-standard and not what this industry expects to sell, even if he does have many desirable qualities that many people clearly see.
look at the sun on the card, but flip its symbolism upside down: his mood isn’t perfectly bright all the time, he’s not an extrovert, his energy is not endless, he is unafraid to show the unhappy sides of things (see MONO). all that does not perfectly resonate with a lot of people. namjoon is too many steps ahead and nonconforming by default. he doesn’t deliberately act like the literal fool in the circus to get his fans going. he doesn’t want to be that kind of puppet, pretending and joking around. which means he caters to a smaller demographic and he knows it. he wishes he was more recognized for that authenticity, but he knows that the audience looks toward more fun idols to get what they want. and, that he can’t be entitled to get appreciation for being the odd one out. still, he feels left behind but also too high up, too far. namjoon is out of reach and way, way too experienced to play the game of his peers by now. he’s annoyed by naivety, irrationality, carelessness, nuisance, lack of focus, stupidity. he can’t entertain it, he can’t help it.
what aggravates that is his position in the group. the philosopher-leader and chronically overworked writer. since years. people look up to that, but there is less of an incentive to fawn unless his sexy frame and voice is concerned. namjoon does not incite as much of a childish (FOOL-ish), squeaking response like other artists do. his role is not spontaneous enough. how reflected he is takes the wind out of those sails. he gets very different clout from very selective people, even if his appeal has been getting broader. bts is a seasoned group and namjoon as its central mind embodies that tenfold. even his idealism is laced with a kind of serenity. his prudent ways are extreme. that has people who are in it for the fun like woah, this guy is deep, he makes me think a bit too much there. there is no glaring appeal of innocence to fans in namjoon, that’s what the card communicates. he is underappreciated because he is not carefree and reckless, doesn’t deliberately spark excitement the way you would expect an idol to do it. RM stepping out is like oh shit, here is the intellectual authority. he induces a different awe. not many people are ready to really respect an idol. namjoon commands it effortlessly, when he is present you have to pay heed to it. so, many fans choose to ignore him because they would be forced to recognize an idol’s humanity — the person behind THE FOOL — for once.
in terms of dress, THE FOOL is a gaudy, sexy prankster showing up in a hundred colors at once. but in reverse, that showy quality disappears. namjoon is not an instagram guy. he keeps it simple and practical in his free time. his body is what’s sexy, not the clothes that people want to ogle. he’s the real deal, but others want the mannequin, so he falls short. on stage, the same often happens, his frame can’t get dressed the jimin way, after all. and that is chosen, but it brings with it only the people who see his essence behind the surface. quality stans who want to hear what he says, but fewer. while the rest runs after the more flashy, quirky, sparkly idols. that fans are easily blinded and literally FOOL-ed leaves smart and thoughtful namjoon overlooked. he can stand out with his english and brilliant mind, but it is taken for granted all too often even if a whole group functions on that very base. it’s the person shouldering the most that gets underappreciated until they don’t contribute anymore and people are like ‘oh…’. it all boils down to namjoon’s less easily relatable leading edge mindset and complex intelligence that is hard to digest, few can keep up with that. he’s just not a fool. in short, namjoon is cursed by greatness.

hi, I was looking again at the reading you did about bts and the 2019 outlook and it's so on point!,like it's amazing!! anyway, I was wondering if you had any clue what's coming with the new year, for them I mean. I think a lot of people are feeling the air of finality, but still the guys have to do smt after the end of the year (as a group or not), do you have anything in mind/do you see anything on that?
Anonymous: are you going to do a 2020 forecast for bts? i would be super interesting in reading one. it would be nice if you did like a paragraph specific to each member too
Anonymous: Hey!! Hope you are doing well. I wondered if you would do an outlook reading for bts this year. Thank you, take care!!
Anonymous: Hi! It’s so nice to see that you’re back! I was wondering if you could maybe do a reading for what 2020 will hold for BTS as a group and as individuals?
000
For the sake of not unintentionally adding speedbumps into their projected timelines and personal paths, I’m not setting out to get any solid potentials that are set up for them in 2020 as, literally, anything can change at any moment, especially now. Putting predictions out can sometimes cause interference through the collective perception of the potentials which are then projected and can overlay onto designated paths and timelines as they play out within the 3D collective experience, so I am focusing on overall energy. It’s the most general and least invasive way of looking at what is currently laid out for them as a group and as individuals. The energy I’m focusing on, in a sense, can be looked at as the tile or stone that their current paths are laid with. It can or can not have direct influence over the destination and the experiences along the way, but for the most part, it is the foundation of every step and sets the tone for the year ahead.
All: Allowance
As a group, the energy influencing them in 2020 is Allowance. There’s a lot of release here, not as much restriction or pressure compared to previous years as, along with the global collective, they are being given opportunities to reform their paths and rebuild foundations based on the growth and knowledge they have acquired for themselves over the last few years. With Allowance, it’s more about going with what they feel to be right, what they feel suits them as people rather than as a product, and there isn’t so much urgency (or they will work to lessen the urgency) towards maintaining their current position.
A bit odd, but the image I was getting with this is that of someone drowning and trying to fight their way to the surface. The longer they hold their breath, the more they panic, and the more they struggle to get to the surface. Finally, when everything in their body is in pain and their head feels like it’s going to explode, they inhale. It’s an instant release and relief of the pain and fear as their body goes into shock and they pretty much pass out and get swept away by the currents. The focus here for me was fighting a battle that can’t be won, or that doesn’t need to be fought at all.
Basically, as I was seeing it, it’s like their attempts to maintain their current position as a group is actually causing resistance to what is set up for them now. Moreso, it’s a lack of trust in themselves, their fans, their company, the industry itself, whatever, that causes them to be fearful of losing what they have and essentially falling from grace. They are supposed to drown in the water not because they are meant to die but because they are going to be carried somewhere new, washed onto a new shore, and given a new life. It’s not so literal, obviously, but the more they fight to stay in the same place the more painful the transition from point A to point B will become. Things are being set up now to show them that they can let go and that it’s not all going to crumble away when they do.
Message on the card: “The frequency of Allowance invites us to be open to whatever comes our way — without judgment, without opinion, without fear, and without resistance. When we allow, the Universe becomes our partner in the wondrous dance of existence and expansion.”
Namjoon: The Magician (rev.) + 4 of Pentacles
This made me feel all bubbly inside because that reversed Magician immediately gave me this image of Namjoon removing a crown and setting it down on a table, essentially removing his responsibilities on a soul level within the soul body and moving all of his conscious level focus to the 4 of Pentacles, the physical foundations, the real-life shit. It’s about him focusing on himself and literally, very consciously, looking at his current path, his current position and where that could lead him and whether or not that is where he wants to go. He’s being given a great opportunity to be in complete control and not exclusively be bound to soul work and purpose. This, of course, can lead to a lot of stressful times and anxiety as anyone who has been very closely guided for a long time can feel that sudden rush of responsibility and pressure come up out of nowhere — I had my own breakdown over it myself last year, it’s here if you want to have a good laugh.
Jin: Two of Cups
Two of Cups, straight up, is relationships and for me personally, this is the only card in a tarot deck that I associate with romantic connections. It’s a significant connection for him but it’s very confined, or I suppose hidden away. It’s private and personal so I won’t try to see into any more than that, but overall this is a fulfilling time for him, something that will start a new phase in his life.
Yoongi: King of Swords
To be honest, the King of Swords is a card I don’t really ever feel anything towards, I usually read it as its traditional meaning in most readings, but here it’s doing some crazy flashing sort of nonsense. Visually, I was seeing it as the King of Cups pulling out a sword to become the King of Swords. Like I just keep seeing the same thing repeating over and over again, just a silhouette of the King of Cups pulling out a sword and his body lighting up all crazy and little balls of light coming off of him like fireflies. It’s very dramatic and I don’t know what it means, but I’m sure it will be an absolute riot for Yoongi, especially if this has to do with personal projects and music coming out.
Hoseok: Six of Cups (rev.) + Queen of Wands
This is like a big dollop of liberation but not in a ~escapist~ kind of way. How I was seeing it, it’s as if the reversed 6 of Cups is the current state of Hoseok’s “kingdom.” It’s being taken over by this weird army that is completely made up of old ideas, trauma, and insecurity. His kingdom is not under his rulership as you would assume it is, and instead, he is at the mercy of this army. Not matter what he wants to build or move through, the process is dictated by the army. The liberation comes from the Queen of Wands as she chooses not to fight the army and instead incorporates it into her own army. That pretty much translates into shadow work, accepting detriments within yourself and turning them into assets in one way or another. He will liberate himself by not fighting against himself and working on uniting aspects of his inner world together. I’m pretty sure I had something like that for him before, but I don’t remember which reading it was.
Jimin: The Tower
This has to do with some personal stuff that I think I talked about in his Elemental Alignment reading and maybe his and Kook’s relationship reading. It is, without a doubt, significant energy in 2020 for him and most likely the next few years.
Taehyung: Six of Swords (rev.)
The reversed 6 of Swords tends to show a halt in progress, some sort of upset that either takes away the driver’s ability to move or somehow compromises the vehicle itself. In a weird way, I was seeing the vehicle being affected, but the vehicle was shown as Taehyung’s mind. It was a little confusing to look at but it seemed like “speed bumps” were being placed in his line of sight as he’s just kind of going about his day and these “speed bumps” are there to continuously assess his surroundings and his connection to them on a deeper level. I was seeing this relating back to his sense of identity and how he communicates with people. It was kind of weird, but it looked like he was literally just talking to someone and they kept going, “what? What did you say?” It’s not about him not being understood it’s about getting him to make sure that he is saying what he wants to say and not what he thinks other people want him to say. But it’s also deeper than that which is why it’s confusing, I feel like this is already going on considering those few times where he has spoken out against certain nonsensical bullshit with fans and such, so it could be just more of that, kind of coaxing more honesty, more of his true self to the surface.
Kook: Ace of Wands (rev.) + Ace of Cups + 10 of Cups
Homeboy is running around with a big mood strapped to his soul, I guess. If you’ve been following the blog and the readings for a long ass time, then perhaps you know that Kook had a big connection within my readings to the Page of Wands, and sometimes the combination of The Fool and the Ace of Wands when he was in a more independent state. This is related to that except he has, or he will grow past the independent state of The Fool and Ace of Wands. Quite literally, he is putting the Ace of Wands down and picking up the Ace of Cups in order to pursue the 10 of Cups. He’s initiating a journey through Water, through the suit of cups, fully from 1 to 10. Very interesting. The Ace of Wands, or the Wands suit in general for Kook is about performance and always being on, projecting for the sake of others. With Water, with Cups, he is more internally focused, but this will actually bring him the most external progress. I assume this will show up more with personal projects and more personal self-expression that is not hindered or influenced by outside opinion or concern.

Please do a tarot reading on bts personality? Thank you
if we’re talking personality, it’s time for the big guns. i promised i’d use this deck to an anon, today we’re doing a shaman soul reading.
Jungkook: THE RAINBOW
A sign that the end of the storm is near. This card is truly blessed and imbued with great innocence because that’s exactly what Jungkook is. It’s the “everything is alright” signal: The rainbow symbolizes completion of the soul in the Himalayan region where shamans consider rainbows a bridge to the afterlife. Believe it or not: What we see as JK is the last incarnation of his line. His journey is basically complete (!), it is whole. He’s found what we will all find and the end which is a state of profound happiness. There’s a reason why he brings so much ease, fun, and talent everywhere he goes. That sense of lightness and positivity is deeply embedded in him. Brightness, bubbliness, fleeting moods but always optimistic. His personality is all about joy and the feeling of soaring high. It’s not a farce we see on camera, he really is like that. What I noticed is. Since we see a colorful bird dashing forward on a ray of light, I believe JK is headed somewhere blissful, and he’s headed there fast. The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, pretty much. Not just the shamans in Nepal consider the rainbow as an arch, Norse ones do, too. The Bifröst bridge connects Midgard to the Æsir. Jungkook has a sort of divine connection going on. That’s why his personality is dignified. Bifröst is translated to ‘shimmering path’, that he got famous was destined from the beginning.
Hoseok: THE SWEAT LODGE
Hey, Mama. I am not surprised that this card is all about a connection to mother earth and all things maternal. The hut — and the ritual that is behind it — is essentially an image for the womb. Hoseok is looking for that warm and cozy feeling in his life. That tells you a whole lot about the personality we rarely see on stage, it’s a much calmer state. The act of sweating disperses old habits and bad thoughts, this is precisely what he seeks. That blissful, protected place/state of being attracts him, or rather, draws him back into his past. His character is so youthful and cheery because he longs for a space like the sweat lodge that leaves you relaxed, drained from the weight of the world, and without sorrows. What he longs for is purity. He’s let go of demons and phases in his life he’s grown out of. His goal is to feel renewed and being without baggage. Note also that the sweat lodge is a community place. He is deeply social, it’s not an act. Hoseok aspires to be a nurturing figure in the future, and peace is very important to him.
Jin: TAMING THE WIND
Think about it: Something as dynamic as air representing Jin makes a lot of sense. He might be a fire sign, but air is nonetheless strong in him. He is a person who is self-directed and cannot be grasped at any time. Air does what it wants, and few other forces can stop it. On top of that, wind is malleable. It can be completely still, gently blowing, come on strong, or be a flat out hurricane. The different levels of intensity are all present in Jin’s character. As in, he can be the introvert of all introverts only to turn into extroversion embodied. The card tells us about just how versatile he can be. That he will achieve more consistency in the future is represented by the act of taming: Yes, he will settle. Visually, the feather is the most important part of this card. It symbolizes a holy dedication to life and distributes smoke during shaman rituals. It can also be interpreted as a pointer when you’re in alignment. So, I’d describe Jin’s character as something that dispels the old to bring about harmony. Thus, he is wild and tame alike. Very interesting duality.
Namjoon: THUNDER
Next to Jimin’s card, this is the most powerful one I pulled. If you’re familiar with The Tower in tarot, THUNDER is similar. Especially in its spiritual weight. Thunder always hails of new things coming. Namjoon is that kind of vanguard. Even his voice booms like thunder man, that’s no coincidence. That he’s the leader of one of the most famous boy groups on this planet means something dramatic and big coming our way. At his core, he is revolutionary. Namjoon is Namjoon because of his message that’s loud, terrifying to great many a hater, and a call to awakening. I am certain he is on his way to enlightenment, I’m not kidding. Because think about, thunder comes first, then: lightning. It describes his personality progression well: Namjoon did a full 180° in the last years. He did all of his shadow work. This card always says a person is about to fulfill their purpose, so he’s currently at the very brink. He is scared to the core but knows that he’s destined for great things. Like buffalos storming ahead, he is unstoppable just like that. It’s because of him that the game changes 😊
Yoongi: THE PRESENT
Beside the literal interpretation of Yoongi being a present to this world which truly is the case, this card also means unconditional offering in a general sense. You’d think it’s his wonderful music that he has gifted us. The meaning of the card says otherwise, things go deeper, it’s about something that is not material in nature. Only true love and true feelings can fully belong to a person and they can give them as a present. I think this is what Yoongi’s personality at its deepest level is about. He is a generous man. Who is more giving than someone so dedicated and full of tender emotions. The card is also a signifier of gratitude, and I think Yoongi truly is thankful. The winged woman shown on the card lifts up the sun, which tells me Yoongi wants to uphold joy and that he was sent to us as an angelic, radiant being. Lil’ cherub he is. The card is colored in such a bright yellow and orange way, I think he could be a kind of light worker, even, if you’re familiar with this concept. What Yoongi’s aim is at its most basic level is to gain access to the happiness of life. And he wishes so dearly we experience it, too. I need a moment.
Jimin: THE INCA CROSS
Ooof. Oh shit. This card is a massive fucking deal. I’m stunned every time I see it. It has a huge wtf factor. A simple but overarching symbol. To shamans, the Inca Cross symbolizes all directions and dimensions coming together. It even connects the Underworld with the Gods themselves. It also has a hole in the middle, allowing us to travel to a different perspective. It tells me Jimin is the one holding everything around him together with his personality. He is that cross, a compass basically. He has access to greater wisdom. The Inca Cross is a big leap, this is what Jimin essentially is. What he exudes propels us forward and unites us. He can make people change their mind and direction in life. He is only halfway aware of that skill. I wouldn’t mess with him either way, he is the true axis of Bangtan. The crucial (=cross-like!) one, even Namjoon said that. Now what’s also important is not just the cross itself but also the color. It is made of solid gold, a very warm tone. His charm and soothing character is innate to Jimin, and that is a regal feat. It’s very important that he knows his worth, that is the crux —cross— of the matter. Now this is where it gets really metaphysical: That the Inca Cross bridges the lower, middle (Human), and upper realm to shamans in Peru is no coincidence. It tells us Jimin was sent from a place that is not this, aka the middle world. I think even people who are not into spirituality can feel that. He is either a saved soul from the Underworld so this is his first incarnation after a long time or he was sent from the Gods. Because the cross connects all worlds, it could even be both at the same time. And since the Inca Cross allows dimension and time travel (!)… maybe he can do even that. This card is telling me the wildest shit.
Taehyung: HEART OF SKY
During the last tarot readings I drew The Empress for him several times, the energy is no different here. This card has Queen of the Night type of imagery. It’s a very dreamy, whimsical woman immersed in melancholy, dressed in lavish garments. It’s not hard to see the parallel to Taehyung’s character. He is just as nostalgic and concerned with all things that bring more beauty to this planet. That is his purpose. I repeat: Taehyung is here to spread the fine things in life to bring us sophistication and wholesomeness. The Heart of Sky is quite possibly the card most connected to creativity and love. It encourages the one receiving it to paint. We know he’s already an artist at heart, the shaman cards know it, too. Heart of Sky means to pour out your emotions. And to show all your talents in a gorgeous way. The card is just… spot on. Nighttime plays an important role in this illustration, Tae is more Moon than Sun in personality. He’s in tune not just with his divine masculine, but also feminine. Perfect balance. The Heart of Sky carries with it a strong ethical component also, that means Taehyung is figuring out his intent very often. He’s a benevolent person, a creator. A good person, a benevolent heart. He wants the best for everyone, you and me, anybody.
Bangtan: THE SUN
I also pulled a card for the personality of the group as a sum. THE SUN is pretty straightforward: BTS are luminaries, a figurative giant. A super-star. Shamans connect the sun to male energy so the allegory fits, there’s a bright and positive masculine quality in their work. BTS are a hot topic and the energy is high. Sometimes even overpowered because their solar pizzazz is so ardent — burning out is the #1 danger here. That’s why the members connected to the moon and night (Joon, Tae, Yoongi, to some extent Jimin) are so important to balance everything. Passion, humor, creativity, playfulness are always around when BTS is near. The sun is at the center or the universe and widely seen, the group indeed takes that center spot right now. Many other life forms depend on the sun, revolve around it, BTS and their light are needed. If they fall, a system collapses. The card tells us they are currently at their zenith, truly radiant now, soaring like the winged spirit on the card. Also, to state the obvious: Come on, who’s the sun of BTS? Hobi’s personality sticks out the most, reflects back to the group dynamic. This is his card and time to shine. He makes or breaks the deal and the cards know it. He sets the tone.
bighit: THE JAGUAR
I wanted to see what the personality of bighit as a whole is, too. Unsurprisingly — what came out is an animal who’s a roaring force to be reckoned with. The energy is a lot more competitive and serious compared to The Sun. I find it convincing and see why these cards came out: Lighthearted group, big business company. Now, the Jaguar has a dark side as well as extreme advantages. He sure doesn’t look like the scariest animal ever, but being on top of the food chain allows him to do whatever he pleases: He’ll never be prey. On the other hand, he is protected because he’s so strong. Bighit does have that quality of being untouchable. Much like the jaguar, it’s an undertaking that operated in the shadows for long. We know that Bang PD claims to have the secret success formula and isn’t as public as say Lee Soo Man and JYP. There is a component of mystery, and the other companies are careful because of it. On the light side, BTS certainly have powerful and rational guidance. To give an analogy from the jungle book: Bighit is like Bagheera, the voice of reason, infusing BTS with strength and knowledge.
